TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ACCELERATING, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED AND SHOOK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, WHO ADVISED THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 600 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
MY NISSAN PATHFINDER IS WHITE IN COLOR. IT IS VERY NOTICEABLE THAT THE FRONT AND BACK BUMPERS, SPOILER OVER HATCH BACK, AND THE TWO SIZE MIRRORS ARE A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN THE REST OF THE SUV . THESE AREAS APPEAR TO BE A CREAM COLOR INSTEAD OF WHITE. EVERY PERSON THAT I HAVE POINTED OUT THIS ISSUE TO AGREES WITH ME.I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TWICE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND COMPLAINED. THEY TOOK PICTURES AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD FILE IT WILL NISSAN. I HAVE CALLED AND HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY FEEDBACK. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER NISSAN. *TR
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY PATHFINDER THAT I SEE SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVING. THE SHUDDERING IS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING AND IT HAS HAPPENED IN VARIOUS SITUATIONS. IT IS NOT A SIDEWAYS SHUDDER LIKE A SHAKE, IT IS A LACK OF FORWARD MOTION (WHILE THE ENGINE REVS TO HIGHER RPMS) SO SEVERE THAT IT FEELS LIKE BEING REAR ENDED AND HAS NEARLY SLAMMED ME INTO THE STEERING WHEEL MORE THAN ONCE. I HAVE HAD TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS CHECK IT AND BOTH SAID THERE WAS NO PROBLEM BECAUSE IT IS NOT THROWING AN ERROR CODE ON THE COMPUTER. FINALLY, IT DID IT ALL THE WAY TO MY WORK ONE MORNING (30+ MILES) SO I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED IT AGAIN. SAME RESULTS, EXCEPT THEY TRIED TO PASS IT OFF AS A BAD WHEEL BEARING AND REPLACED ONE OF MY WHEEL BEARINGS. THEY CALLED ME TO TELL ME IT WAS READY FOR PICK UP AND I REFUSED TO PICK IT UP UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED (I NOW HAVE 40K MILES, WARRANTY IS GETTING CLOSE TO BEING UP). I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT HOW THIS HAS PLAYED OUT, BUT LONG STORY SHORT, THEY ARE NOW IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING MY COIL PACKS AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, THEN THEY ARE GOING TO TRY REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING SINCE THE FIRST 2 NISSANS I OWNED WERE GREAT VEHICLES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND JERKED WHEN ACCELERATING OR DECELERATING AT ANY SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC WAS PERFORMED, WHICH LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE TORQUE CONVERTER. THE TORQUE CONVERTER WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 600 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 4,000.
INTERMITTENT SHUDDERS AS IF I WAS DRIVING ON A RUMBLE STRIP AND LOSS OF POWER AFTER AN HOUR OF DRIVE. *TR
MY NISSAN PATHFINDER SUV LOSES POWER FROM 45HP TO 2HP IT IS AT THE NISSAN COMPANY AT THIS TIME 7/24/2013 WITH 347 MILES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. TRAVELING IN 30MPH ZONE. SLOWED AS I NEARED INTERSECTION. GOING 5 MPH. APPROXIMATELY 40 FEET FROM INTERSECTION PUT PRESSURE ON BRAKE TO STOP CAR. NO RESPONSE AND I ROLLED TO MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION. LUCKILY NO CARS IN FRONT OF ME OR IN INTERSECTION. *TR
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT THAT INDICATES THE AIRBAG IS OFF FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS COME ON OVER 4 TIMES NOW WITH BOTH MY WIFE WHO IS 5'6" ~160LB'S AND MY DAUGHTER 5'5" 90LB'S IN IT. IT CAME ON RANDOMLY ALL TIMES AND WENT OFF RANDOMLY. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO HAS STATED THAT IT DOES NOT FALL WITHIN THE VIN RANGE OF THE 2013 PATHFINDER RECALL FOR THIS SAME ISSUE. IT SEEMS THE PROBLEM IS MORE WIDESPREAD THEN NISSAN IS WILLING TO INDICATE. *TR
VEHICLE IS RUMBLING OR SHAKING AT SLOW SPEED. IT HAD HAPPENED A FEW TIMES BEFORE BUT SEEMS TO GET WORSE RECENTLY AND WAS VERY NOTICEABLE WHEN I WAS DRIVING UP/DOWN AT THE AIRPORT PARKING GARAGE AND HAVING TO MAINTAIN SLOW SPEED. IT ALSO HAPPENED FROM TIME TO TIME WHILE ON SLOW SPEED BUT HAPPENED MOST OF THE TIME WHILE MAKING TURNS. IT LAST A FEW SECONDS AND DURING THAT TIME IT WAS AS IF THE CAR WAS RIDING ON VERY ROUGH CONTINUOUS SURFACE (LIKE DRIVING ON THE WARNING STRIP TO SLOW SPEED AT THE TOLL BOOTHS). I JUST TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHICH THE DESCRIPTION ON THE INVOICE SAID "CONFIRM VEHICLE SURGE AT 30/33 MPH PC1970 0.6 PERFORM TCM REPROGRAM AND VEHICLE ROAD TEST PROBLEM STEEL THERE. RESCHEDULE; NEED TO CALL TECH LINE". THE SERVICE ADVISER AT THE DEALER ASKED ME TO KEEP DRIVING IF THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE AND IT IS. LESS THAN A MILE OUT OF THE DEALER, WHILE MAKING TURN AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE NOTICEABLE RUMBLING HAPPENED AGAIN. I AM RESCHEDULING THIS FOR SERVICE. I HOPE IT IS FIXED BEFORE OUR ROAD TRIP. *TR
THE HOOD OF THE 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER SHAKES/VIBRATES WHEN DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS WORKED ON AT TWO DIFFERENT NISSAN DEALERSHIPS AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENTS ATTEMPTED TO ADJUST THE BUMPERS UNDER THE HOOD, BUT THIS DID NOT STOP THE SHAKING WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE SERVICE MANAGER AND NISSAN CORPORATE SAY THEY HAVE SPOKEN TO THEIR TECH LINE WHICH HAS NO OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECTIONS, SO AS IT STANDS I AM STUCK WITH A HOOD THAT SHAKES. I SEE THIS AS A SAFETY CONCERN AS I FEEL THE HOOD SHOULD BE SECURE ESPECIALLY WHEN DRIVEN AT 65-70 MPH. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A VEHICLE THAT HAS A HOOD THAT SHAKES AND I WOULD LIKE TO BE CONFIDENT THAT THE HOOD OF THIS VEHICLE IS SECURELY PLACED AND DOES NOT MOVE WHEN BEING DRIVEN. *JS
MY WIFE PURCHASED HER 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER ON 04/06/13, FROM METRO NISSAN IN MONTCLAIR CALIFORNIA. THE VEHICLE HAD ONLY 35 MILES. AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 MILES, THE VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO SHUTTER AND JERK THE VEHICLE WHEN DRIVEN AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES PER HOUR. INITIALLY, IT OCCURED NOT TOO OFTEN AND WE DID NOT THINK MUCH OF IT. THE SHUTTERING GOT MUCH STRONGER AS TIME WENT ON AND BECAME MORE OFTEN. DURING THESE OCCURANCES IT APPEARED THAT THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SLOW DOWN. THIS CREATED A SAFETY CONCERN DUE TO NEARLY BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLES A FEW TIMES WHILE PULING OUT OF DRIVEWAYS AND MERGING INTO HIGHWAY LANES. ITS A SAFETY ISSUE AND NISSAN NEEDS TO FIX. ON 10/29/13, I DROPPED OFF THE PATHFINDER AT METRO NISSAN, WITH APROXIMATELY 6281 MILES. I TEST DROVE VEHICLE WITH A TECHNICIAN. THE TECHNICIAN OBSERVED AND FELT THE VEHICLE SHUTTER AND TREMBLE AT APPROXIMATELY 20MPH. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED, DUE TO INTERNAL DAMAGE, WITH A NEW TRANSMISSION. THE NEW TRANSMISSION APPEARS TO BE FINE BUT I HAVE READ NUMEROUS REVIEWS ONLINE FROM AROUND THE US WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS AND CONCERNS. SOME HAVE HAD TRANSMISSIONS REPLACED AND PROBLEM HAVE CONTINUED. MY QUESTION IS, WHAT IS NISSAN GOING TO DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. ITS TRULY A SAFETY HAZZARD AND MY WIFE AND I ARE CONCERNED THAT THE PROBLEM WILL RETURN. APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE, I BEGAN HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER, NOTICING THAT IT "SHUDDERS" AND LOSES POWER WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STANDSTILL OR AT LOW SPEEDS. THIS TYPICALLY HAPPENS BETWEEN APPROXIMATELY 20 TO 40 MILES PER HOUR. THE SENSATION IS DESCRIBED AS BEING LIKE "DRIVING OVER A RUMBLE STRIP" AND THE POWER LOSS OCCURS FOR ABOUT THREE TO FIVE SECONDS. THE DEALERSHIP HAS TRIED TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THROUGH A SOFTWARE UPDATE, NEW TORQUE CONVERTER AND EVEN A NEW TRANSMISSION. I DROPPED THE CAR OF THIS MORNING FOR THE FOURTH TIME BECAUSE THE PROBLEM CONTINUES TO OCCUR AND THIS PROBLEM SUBSTANTIALLY IMPAIRS THE USE OF MY VEHICLE AND CREATES A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD. *TR
INCIDENT HAPPEN MULTIPLE TIMES FROM JULY 20TH 2013 UP TO SEPTEMBER 2013 ONLY IN HOT DAYS WITH OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE AROUND 85 DEGREES. ALL SITUATIONS WERE VERY SIMILAR. I WILL DESCRIBE JUST ONE. I WAS TRYING TO MERGE TO TRAFFIC FROM RIGHT TO LEFT. I MOVED SLOWLY AROUND 25 MPH AND I SOW THAT I CAN MERGE TO LINE SO I ACCELERATE LIGHTLY TO AROUND 30-32MPH WHERE RPM WAS AROUND 1000-1500RPM. WHEN I WAS CHANGING LINES CAR START SHAKE LIKE I'M GOING TROUGH SLOW DOWN STRIPS, I REMEMBER SPEED BECAUSE I GOT SCARED AND I TOOK LOOK TO DASH IF ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND IF ENGINE IS SHUTTING DOWN. I SAW RPM STILL UP AND CAR STARTED MOVE NORMALLY AFTER 1-2 SEC. WHEN I PRESSED ACCELERATOR. I THOUGHT THAT CAR WILL STOP AND I WILL GET HIT BY CAR COMING FROM REAR. I HAD 2 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER IN CAR WITH ME AT THAT TIME. NO SO FUNNY NISSAN. I VISITED DEALER 2 TIMES. DEALER TRIED TO REPLICATE ISSUE BUT THEY DID THAT AT MORNING WHEN IS NOT SO HOT. THEY COULDN'T REPLICATE IT AND THEY SENT ME HOME WITH NOTHING BECAUSE NISSAN DIDN'T RELEASED RECALL FOR MY VIN. *TR
ON JULY 10, 2013, WHILE DRIVING MY 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER, I HEARD 'SOMETHING' RATTLE UNDER THE REAR OF THE TRUCK AND SAW 'SOMETHING BLACK' IN MY REAR-VIEW MIRROR FLY FROM UNDER THE TRUCK. APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES LATER WHEN I STOPPED AT A LOCAL SAVEMART, STORE EMPLOYEES CALLED OVER THE PA SYSTEM FOR THE OWNER OF A NEW PATHFINDER BECAUSE FUEL WAS LEAKING 'ALL OVER THE PARKING LOT'. THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS WERE CALLED TO CLEAN UP THE HAZMAT AND DIRECT TRAFFIC AWAY FROM MY TRUCK. A FIREMAN AMAZED ME WHEN HE STATED THAT MY PATHFINDER HAS A UNSHIELDED PLASTIC FUEL TANK THAT'S HELD UP BY TWO STRAPS. HE ALSO STATED THAT IT APPEARED TO HIM THAT ONE BROKE, BOUNCED OFF THE ROAD AND PUNCTURED THE TANK. AFTER HAVING IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD THAT NISSAN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENED AND I'LL HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE MY TRUCK FIXED. I AM NOT TAKING WHAT THE FIREMAN SAID AS A MECHANICAL FACT, HOWEVER, THE NISSAN SERVICE REP KEPT TELLING ME THAT THE HOLE IN THE TANK WAS MADE BY A SMALL OBJECT THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY RUN OVER AND FORCED INTO THE TANK. I FIND HIS STATEMENT TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. IT IS REASONABLE TO ASSUME THAT A SMALL OBJECT, NO MATTER THE DENSITY, SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PUNCTURE THE FUEL TANK... THAT'S WHY I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT ANYMORE. I FEEL THE TANK PROBABLY WON'T HOLD UP IN A CRASH AND IT'S A GOOD CHANCE IT WILL GET PUNCTURED AGAIN DURING THE LIFE OF OWNERSHIP WITH ME... I HOPE NISSAN WILL QUICKLY REALIZE THE NEED TO INITIATE A FACTORY RECALL TO REPLACE AND/OR INSTALL A SHIELD TO RENDER THE FUEL TANKS MORE PUNCTURE RESISTANT. ALL NISSAN PATHFINDERS AND OTHER NISSAN VEHICLES THAT ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO THIS KIND OF DAMAGE SHOULD BE RECALLED.THIS HAPPENED TO ME AND IT WILL HAPPEN TO OTHER NISSAN PATHFINDER OWNERS... *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100. *JB
DRIVING FROM COCOA, FLORIDA TO VIRGINA, THE CAR KEPT JERKING. IT FELT LIKE WHEN THE ENGINE GOT HOT IT WAS JERKING MORE AND WORSE. BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE SOUTH OF THE BORDER (NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTH CAROLINA) THE TRANSMISSION SHUT DOWN AND THE CAR COULDN'T MOVE (IN THE MIDDLE ON I-95). WE WERE LUCKY THERE WERE NO CARS BEHIND US OTHERWISE THERE WOULD BE A PILE OF CAR BEHIND US. *TR
AS YOU DECELERATE FROM 50 -55 MPH AND SLOW DOWN TO 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGINS TO "SHUDDER", SIMILAR TO DRIVING OVER RUMBLE STRIPS THAT ARE TYPICALLY FOUND ALONG HIGHWAYS THAT ALERT DRIVERS THAT THEY ARE MOVING ONTO THE SHOULDER. AFTER 4-5 SECONDS, THE SHUDDER STOPS AND THE VEHICLE DRIVES NORMALLY. READING ON THE INTERNET, THIS APPEARS TO BE OCCURRING WITH A NUMBER OF VEHICLES AND MAY RESULT IN TRANSMISSION FAILURE OVER TIME. *TR
VEHICLE STARTED SHOWING SUDDEN SHUDDER/JUDDER AT LOW SPEED (UP TO 30 MPH) IN JULY, 2013. IT HAPPENED FOUR TIMES. NISSAN DEALER WAS INFORMED ABOUT IT. FIRST DAY OF WINTER; AROUND OCTOBER 20 VEHICLE LOST POWER AND TRANSMISSION SLIPPED TWICE FROM STOP TO GO AND ANOTHER TIME IN LOW SPEED. SINCE THEN THE PROBLEM OF POWER LOSS AND TRANSMISSION SLIP OCCURRED 9 TIME VERY RANDOMLY. THERE IS NO WAY TO DUPLICATE IT. DEALER CHECKED THE VEHICLE 4 TIMES SO FAR AND HAS NOT FOUND ANY PROBLEM OR CODE. NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS HAVE BEEN INFORMED. THIS HAS BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE - WHEN VEHICLE LOSES POWER DURING CLOSE/BUSY TRAFFIC SITUATION IN A CITY LIKE PITTSBURGH, PA IT CREATES CHANCES OF GETTING HIT FROM BEHIND. ALREADY NARROWLY ESCAPED FROM ONE INCIDENT LIKE THIS. VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 12100 MILES. SO FAR POWER LOSS ISSUE ALWAYS OCCURRED IN COLD DAYS; UP TO 36F. ENGINE NEVER SHUT OFF IN ANY OF THE OCCURRENCES. *TR
THE AIRBAG SENSOR INDICATOR HAS COME ON WITH AN ADULT OVER 150LBS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS. THE ADULT WAS SITTING CORRECTLY IN THE SEAT. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES. TOLD FIRST TIME THAT SINCE IT CAN'T BE DUPLICATED AT THE DEALERSHIP, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING. NEXT I WAS GIVEN A COPY OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL. LAST TIME, I TALKED WITH THE DEALERSHIP MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE SENSOR WOULD BE REPLACED. THE DAY I WAS TO TAKE IT IN, I RECEIVED A CALL THAT IT NEEDED TO BE INSPECTED BY A NISSAN CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. I LET HIM LOOK AT IT AND WAS TOLD THAT NOTHING SHOWED UP WRONG AND THE SENSOR WOULD NOT BE REPLACED AND GIVEN ANOTHER COPY OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. THE AIRBAG SHOULD NEVER TURN OFF WITH A AVERAGE SIZED ADULT IN THE SEAT. *TR
I GOT A RECALL PAPER FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR, WHEN I TOOK IT IN TO GET IT FIXED THEY TESTED IT AND SAID IT WAS FINE. THE LIGHT STILL COMES ON WITH NO ONE IN THE SEAT. THEN THE FUEL GAUGE WHERE IT TELLS YOU HOW MANY MILES TILL EMPTY SHOWED NOTHING BUT 3 LINES FOR 2 DAYS AND I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IN NOT AN ISSUE FOR THIS YEAR AND NOTHING WAS DONE. NOW THE BRAKES WILL GO TO THE FLOOR MORE WHEN BEING PRESSED AND THE VEHICLE WILL START ROLLING SO YOU HAVE TO PUSH HARDER ON THE BRAKES. JUST YESTERDAY THE MILEAGE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE MOVING WHILE DRIVING TO SHOW HOW MANY MPG YOU ARE GETTING WENT ALL THE WAY UP AND STAYED THERE THE WHOLE TIME I DROVE. THERE IS NO WAY I WAS GETTING LIKE 50 MILES PER GALLON GOING 45MPH. I TRY TO GET MY VEHICLE IN TO THE NISSAN DEALER WHERE I GOT IT FROM IN LAS CRUCES, NM AND I KEEP NOT GETTING ANSWERS OR MORE EXCUSED OF WHAT IS NOT WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. WE, LIKE MANY OTHER OWNERS, ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CVT TRANSMISSION IN OUR 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER 4X4. AT LOW SPEED ACCELERATION, TRANSMISSION SHAKES VIOLENTLY AND POWER IS LOST -- CANNOT SPEED UP. ALSO HAPPENS AT HIGH/HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM BUT A DANGEROUS ONE, BOTH WHEN TRYING TO SPEED UP FROM ROLLING START OR WHEN PASSING/ACCELERATING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN, TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THEY SAY THEY WILL REPLACE TORQUE CONVERTER. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP BUT MOST OTHER OWNERS REPORTING SIMILAR ISSUES SAY THESE ARE NOT FIXES AND PROBLEMS RECUR. WILL REPORT BACK. BEYOND THE TRANSMISSION ISSUE, OUR HOOD ALSO BUFFETS SIGNIFICANTLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT VISIBLY SHAKES AND WHEN I ASKED THE DEALERSHIP TO FIX, THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT RECREATE AND IT WASN'T DANGEROUS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE LOST POWER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE REQUIRED A HIGH OCTANE FUEL. THE CONTACT SWITCHED TO USING THE CORRECT FUEL HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.
THIS IS AN ONGOING INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. IT HAS RE-OCCURRED IN OCTOBER AND AGAIN YESTERDAY, DECEMBER 2,2014. I WAS SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND THE PASSENGER "AIRBAG OFF" INDICATOR CAME ON. WE DROVE FOR 45 MINUTES AT 55 MPH AND THAT INDICATOR LIGHT NEVER WENT OFF, MEANING THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WOULD NOT DISCHARGE IN AN EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. THE CAR WAS BROUGHT IN MANY TIMES LAST YEAR DURING THE SUMMER AND AFTER COMPLAINTS TO NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE A MECHANIC CAME TO EVALUATE CAR AND HE DID SOME WORK ON IT AND THE PROBLEM DISAPPEARED FOR SOME TIME. IT STARTED TO RE-OCCUR RECENTLY AND I BROUGHT IT TO NISSAN 112, WHO TOLD ME THERE IS NO PROBLEM DETECTED AND COMPUTER DID NOT THROW A CODE. I HAVE VIDEO AND PHOTOS OF THIS INDICATOR LIGHT ON WHILE I AM SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THEY INSIST THE VEHICLE IS SAFE TO DRIVE. *JS

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAULTY. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. WHEN DRIVING AT A HIGHER SPEED, THE HOOD OF THE CAR VIBRATES SIGNIFICANTLY. IT FEELS LIKE THE HOOD MAY FLIP UP AT ANY TIME. DOUBLE-CHECKED TO BE SURE THE HOOD WAS LOCKED AND IT WAS. *TR
WE PURCHASED VEHICLE WITH 9 MILES ON ODOMETER. AFTER DRIVING FROM BILLINGS MT TO RIVERTON WY, APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS, WE NOTICED WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SLIGHT SHUTTER, VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. NOW, WHEN THE VEHICLE REACHED APPROXIMATELY 800 MILES, IT NOW HAS 1100 MILES, THE VEHICLE HAS DONE THIS APPROXIMATELY 20 TIMES. THE PROBLEM IS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING WORSE AND MORE FREQUENT, AND HAVING TWO KIDS, A 8 YEAR OLD AND 6 MONTH OLD, WE ARE KINDA SCARED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE COMPUTER SCREEN ALSO SHOWN 3 TIMES, HAS SAID, KEY FAILED TO SYNC. *TR
BRAKES FAILED CAUSING ACCIDENT. RECALL RECEIVED 2 HOURS LATER. NISSAN SAYS PARTS WERE REPLACED BUT DID NOT CAUSE THE ACCIDENT. WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE THEM? *TR THE CONSUMER STATED HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY WHEN THE BRAKES FAILED. HE TRIED TO STAND ON THE BRAKES AS WELL AS STOMPED THE PEDAL WITH ONE FOOT, BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED UP THE DRIVEWAY HITTING HIS GARAGE DOOR AND THE SIDE OF HIS HOUSE. THE GARAGE DOOR CRUMBLED AND HIS OTHER VEHICLE, PUSHING IT INTO THE INNER PORTION OF THE GARAGE HITTING IT SEVERAL TIMES. ALSO PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT, THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DRIVE. THE CONSUMER STATED A RECALL WAS ISSUED FOR THE AIR BAG, BUT HE WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. ALSO, THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY WHEN HE HIT THE GARAGE DOOR. UPDATED 09/11/13
THE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DEACTIVATED THE PASSENGER AIR BAG, AND ACTIVATED THE WARNING LIGHT, WITH A 200+ POUND PERSON SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, CENTERED IN THE SEAT AND UPRIGHT, AND SEATBELT ON, FOR OVER ONE HOUR. TOOK VIDEO SHOWING PERSON IN SEAT @ 55 MPH WITH LIGHT ON. DEALER AND NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE STATED THEY CAN NOT REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM, THEREFORE, THERE IS NOTHING TO FIX, EVEN AFTER SHOWING THE DEALER THE VIDEO OF THE DEFECTIVE PASSENGER AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT. REQUESTED CORPORATE TECHNICIAN TO EXAMINE CAR, DEALER HAS NOT PROVIDED THIS SERVICE TO DATE (3 WEEKS LATER). DUE TO THE RANDOM FAULT, WE CAN NOT TRUST THE AIRBAG SYSTEM TO WORK AS DESIGNED, AND AS REQUIRED BY THE NHTSA RULE FMVSS208. *TR
MY VEHICLE HAS PERSISTENT SQUEAK COMING FROM SECOND ROW SEAT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE AND FIXED IT. THE FIX LASTED ONLY FOR 2 DAYS. ANNOYING SQUEAK IS BACK AGAIN. I WENT BACK TO THE OLYMPIA WA NISSAN DEALER 3 TIMES ABOUT THE SQUEAK ISSUE. FINALLY THEY REPLACE THE PLASTIC MOLDING BELOW THE SEAT, IT LASTED FOR 1 DAY. NOW THE SQUEAK PROBLEM IS BACK AGAIN. THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD HAS ONLY 3500 MILES. NOT SURE WHAT DO NOW ? *TR
THE TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO SLIP OR STUTTER OR SHAKE AT LOW SPEEDS. WE NOTICE IT WHEN MAKING TURNS INTO PARKING LOTS OR STARTING OFF AT INTERSECTIONS OR ENTERING OR EXITING CLOVERLEAF LOOP RAMPS AT INTERSECTIONS. IT IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. SOMETIMES IT STUTTERS AND SHAKES HARDER THAN AT OTHER TIMES. WE FIRST NOTICED IT ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER WE BOUGHT IT. *TR
AT SPEEDS VARYING FROM 16MPH TO 40MPH THE VEHICLE CAN HAVE A HORRIBLE SHAKE. ONE WAY TO DESCRIBE IT IS WHEN YOU RUN OVER RUMBLE STRIPS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE DID HAVE THE NISSAN TSB REPAIR PERFORMED WHICH INSTALLED A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER BUT THIS DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. MY WIFE WILL DESCRIBE THE SHAKING SIMILAR TO WHEN THE ENGINE ON A MANUAL TRANSMISSION GETS TOO LOW AND THE CAR SHAKES. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE A PATTERN TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM BUT IT HAPPENS NEARLY EVERY DAY. I HAVE DONE MULTIPLE TEST DRIVES WITH NISSAN SERVICE PERSONNEL BUT WAS UNABLE TO "MAKE IT HAPPEN" WHEN THE PERSON WAS IN THE CAR. I WAS TOLD BY ONE SERVICE PERSONNEL THAT THEY SEE THIS COMPLAINT MOSTLY BY WOMEN BECAUSE MEN HAVE A TENDENCY TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE WITH THE THROTTLE. SINCE THE SHAKING OCCURS AT LOW RPM'S AND WITHIN THAT SPEED RANGE, THE ONLY WAY I KNOW TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN IS TO MAKE SURE THE RPM'S RISE QUICKLY ABOVE 2,000-2,500 RPM. IT IS NOT SAFE TO BE COASTING THRU TOWN AT 25MPH THEN HAVE TO REV THE ENGINE JUST TO MAINTAIN SPEED... I ALSO DO NOTICE A LACK OF POWER OR "TRANSMISSION CONFUSION" WHEN THE SHAKING OCCURS. ONCE THE SHAKING STARTS, THE WAY TO STOP IT IS TO ACCELERATE OR LET OFF THE GAS. EITHER WAY THERE IS A LACK OF POWER, HESITATION AND ABILITY TO ACCELERATE! *TR
ON JUNE 15, 2013 MY VEHICLE BEGAN SHAKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. I TOOK IN INTO THE DEALERSHIP THAT DAY. THEY SAID THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TORQUE CONVERTER SO THEY REPLACED IT. THEY CALLED ME 2 WEEKS LATER TO COME GET MY VEHICLE. WITHIN THE FIRST DAY HAVING IT BACK IT WAS SHACKING EVEN WORSE LIKE IT WAS GOING TO CUT OFF. IT SCARED ME. I CALLED DEALERSHIP AGAIN THEY CAME AND PICKED UP THE VEHICLE. AFTER THE DEALERSHIP HAD MY VEHICLE FOR SEVERAL WEEKS THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. THE 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER'S WERE REPORTING ISSUES WITH THEM AND I WAS TOLD I WASN'T THE ONLY OWNER GOING THROUGH THIS PROBLEM. I SHOULD CALL THE CORPORATE NISSAN OFFICE AND START A CLAIM. I DID SO THAT DAY. I GOT A CALL SAYING MY CAR WAS READY AND THEY WOULD DROP IT OFF TO ME. AFTER TWO DAYS OF HAVING MY VEHICLE I HAD PROBLEM'S ONCE AGAIN. I WAS DRIVING UP ONTO MY DRIVEWAY AND THERE WAS A INCLINE. MY ENGINE MADE THE NOISE LIKE IT WAS REARING UP I TRIED IT 3 TIMES PUSHING DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL AND STILL NOTHING. SO, I PUT IT IN PARK AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, THEY TEST DROVE IT AND FOUND NO PROBLEM'S WITH IT. MEANWHILE I HAD A OPEN CASE WITH NISSAN TO TRY AND BUY BACK MY VEHICLE BECAUSE I DIDN'T FEEL SAFE IN IT WITH MY 3 CHILDREN. I HEARD BACK A COUPLE DAYS AGO THAT MY REQUEST HAD BEEN DENIED. THEY HAVE OFFERED ME 2 MORE YEARS EXTENSION ON MY TRANSMISSION WARRANTY. I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. THIS WILL BE MY 3RD NISSAN OWNING AND THIS IS THE FIRST PROBLEM I HAVE EVER HAD. I AM WORRIED ABOUT THIS MATTER. I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY FOR A VEHICLE AND I EXPECT TO NOT GET A LEMON. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF MY VEHICLE SINCE JUNE 15 PRETTY MUCH. 1. FRONT END SHUTTERS DUE TO CVT TRANSMISSION PROBLEM, NISSAN META REPLACED TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTOR BUT THAT DID NOT FIXED PROBLEM. 2. BOTH REAR TAIL GATE DECALS WERE PUT ON AT A SLIGHT ANGLE. META NISSAN REPLACED THEM BOTH, THE NISSAN DECAL AND THE PATHFINDER WORDING. 3. THEN TOP ROOF PLASTIC MOLDING RUBBER GROMMET CAME LOOSE. THE NISSAN DEALER ORDERED PARTS, BUT SINCE THEY WERE ON SHORTAGE THEY HAVE NOT COME IN YET. 4. MPG AND MPH DISPLAY IS OFF. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW IT LOOKS LIKE A SOFTWARE ISSUE WITH PROGRAM. MPH SHOULD CHANGE DYNAMICALLY AS SPEED OF VEHICLE CHANGE. THAT IS NOT THE CASE ON THIS CAR. 5. FRONT DOORS ARE INCREDIBLY HEAVY, WHY? WHEN THE DOORS ARE HALF THE WAY OPEN THEY IMMEDIATELY SHUT AND CANNOT STAY OPEN. OFTEN THE DOORS SHUT WHILE WE ARE TRYING TO GET IN THE VEHICLE. 6. PASSENGER SEAT AIR BAG SENSOR STAYS ONE WHEN SOMEONE IN SEAT. 7. FRONT BRAKE NOISE.

NOW I AM EXPERIENCING LOSS OF TRACTION. TIRES SPIN AND SQUEAL WHILE JUST TRYING TO PULL OUT IN TO TRAFFIC. HAD VDC LIGHT ILLUMINATE AND SHUT OFF AFTER 5 SECONDS IN COMPLETELY DRY CONDITIONS. HAD METAL SCRAPING SOUND, LEFT WHEEL BEARING AND CONTROL ARM WAS REPLACED. TOOK IN TO DEALER A COUPLE WEEKS AGO FOR SIMILAR METAL SOUND ON LEFT SIDE, THEY CLAIMED BACKPLATE BENT IN TO ROTOR. METAL ON METAL SOUND STILL OCCURRING. CALLED NISSAN TO FILE YET ANOTHER CLAIM REQUESTING THAT THEY ABSORB NEGATIVE EQUITY, SINCE MY ORIGINAL CLAIM FOR THEM TO REPURCHASE VEHICLE WAS DENIED. WE PURCHASED OUR NEW 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER ON 03/16/13, FROM TUSTIN NISSAN IN TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA.. AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 MILES, THE VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO SHUTTER AND JERK THE VEHICLE WHEN DRIVEN AT APPROXIMATELY 15 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR. INITIALLY, IT OCCURRED NOT TOO OFTEN AND WE DID NOT THINK MUCH OF IT. THE SHUTTERING GOT MUCH STRONGER AS TIME WENT ON AND BECAME MORE OFTEN. DURING THESE OCCURRENCES IT APPEARED THAT THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SLOW DOWN. THIS CREATED A SAFETY CONCERN DUE TO NEARLY BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLES A FEW TIMES WHILE PULLING OUT OF DRIVEWAYS AND MERGING INTO HIGHWAY LANES. ITS A SAFETY ISSUE AND NISSAN NEEDS TO FIX. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND SAID WE CAN'T DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. SO NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. *TR

I BOUGHT MY 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN MAY 2013. I FIRST NOTICED THE PROBLEM ABOUT TWO WEEKS AFTER I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 15 MPH HOUR AS I WAS DRIVING INTO A SCHOOL PARKING LOT. THE PATHFINDER WAS JERKING VIOLENTLY. ON MONDAY AFTER WORK I DROVE MY VEHICLE TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT , BUT I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP UPSET AS THE SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT HE COULD NOT KEEP THE VEHICLE BEING THAT WHEN WE TEST- DROVE IT, HE COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER. I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT THIS TIME THEY DID KEEP MY VEHICLE TO CHECK IT OUT. I WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THEY DID HOWEVER, SAY THAT THEY HAD REPLACED THE THE TORQUED CONVERTED. ON THE THIRD TIME TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE CONTINUES WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP A TOTAL OF SIX TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM.....JERKING REALLY BAD. IT NOW HAS SEVERAL OTHER PROBLEMS SUCH AS WHEN STOPPED, I FEEL A STRONG JOLT AS IF HIT FROM BEHIND.THE VEHICLE HAS ALSO HAD OTHER PROBLEMS TO NUMEROUS TO MENTION. I HAVE BECOME AWARE OF TWO DIFFERENT ISSUES WITH MY 2013 PATHFINDER. FIRST, AND MOST IMPORTANT, IS AN ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. THE LIGHT THAT ILLUMINATES TO INFORM YOU IF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS ON OR OFF WILL COME ON OR OFF INTERMITTENTLY WITH THE SAME PERSON/OBJECT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS HAS OCCURRED ON 4 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. IT HAPPENED TWICE WITH MYSELF RIDING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, ONCE WITH MY SON, AND ONCE WITH A BACKPACK. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT WOULD BE OFF, INDICATING THE AIRBAG WAS ON, AND THEN AFTER SEVERAL MILES THE LIGHT WOULD COME ON. OR THE LIGHT WOULD BE ON AND AFTER SEVERAL MILES IT WOULD GO OFF. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND COULD CAUSE DEATH IF IN AN ACCIDENT! I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS PUT ON THE COMPUTER, WHICH SHOWED EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THEY ALSO DROVE THE VEHICLE 20 MILES TO SEE IF THEY COULD GET IT TO HAPPEN AND IT DID NOT. MINE WAS NOT ONE OF THE MODELS ON THE RECALL LIST FOR THIS VERY SAME ISSUE. THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT BACK IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN, BUT I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT. WE ARE A FAMILY OF SEVEN, SO SOMEONE HAS TO SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE SECOND ISSUE IS A SHUDDERING THAT OCCURS WHEN DECELERATING OR ACCELERATING AT LOWER SPEEDS. IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES CAUSING ME TO TAKE MY EYES OFF THE ROAD AND LOOK AT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL TO SEE IF SOMETHING IS WRONG. THE VEHICLE IS SLUGGISH WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I AM WORRIED THAT IT WILL HAPPEN TURNING INTO TRAFFIC AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *TR
SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING MY NEW 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN MAY OF 2013, I STARTED TO EXPERIENCE THE VEHICLE VIOLENTLY SHUTTERING AT LOWER SPEEDS. IT SEEMED AS IF THE CAR WOULD LOSE POWER AND I WOULD HAVE TO RELEASE THE GAS PEDAL IN ORDER FOR IT TO STOP. I HAVE CALLED MULTIPLE NISSAN SERVICE DEALERSHIPS AND HAVE SPOKEN WITH SERVICE MANAGERS ABOUT THE ISSUE BUT, THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING, "NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THEY ARE WORKING ON ISSUING A RECALL. CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. IT WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE ITSELF". I AM REACHING MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH THIS VEHICLE AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES AND IS BECOMING NOTICEABLY WORSE. WHILE AT FIRST THE SHUTTERING OCCURRED ONLY IN LOW SPEEDS, IT SEEMS TO BE OCCURRING WHILE AT HIGH SPEEDS AS WELL. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOT AN EXISTING RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE AND THAT MY VIN WAS NOT A MATCH FOR ANY TRANSMISSION RECALLS. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT A REGIONAL MANAGER WOULD GET IN CONTACT WITH ME AND I WAS GIVEN A CASE NUMBER. *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER THE VEHICLE WILL SHUDDER DURING ACCELERATION FOR UNKNOWN REASONS. IT IS INTERMITTENT AND MAKES A DRIVER THINK THEY HAVE GONE OFF THE ROAD AND YOU ARE RIDING ON A RUMBLE STRIP WHEN YOU ARE NOT ON A RUMBLE STRIP. THE EVENT IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE. IT FRIGHTENS THE DRIVER WHEN IT OCCURS AND IS VERY DISTRACTING WHILE OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE. *TR
PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF LIGHT HAS CAME ON SEVERAL TIME IN THE YEAR PLUS I HAVE OWED MY 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER. RE PROGRAMMING HAS BEEN DONE TWICE ON COMPUTER SOFTWARE AND BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SENSORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND THE SAME DAY THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT CAME ON TWICE. WILL NOTIFY DEALER TOMORROW. *TR
BACK IN JUNE 2013 WE FOUND THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT WOULD INDICATE THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WAS OFF EVEN IF AN ADULT OVER 5 FOOT 4 INCHES AND OVER 150 LBS WITH SEAT BELT ON WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT SPORADICALLY. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THERE WAS A RECALL FOR 2013 PATHFINDERS, ACCORDING TO OUR DEALER OURS WAS NOT INCLUDED THOUGH EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHT WOULD COME ON. THEY SAID BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT REPRODUCE THE ISSUE (THEY TRIED A FEW TIME) AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT FIX IT, BUT THAT THEY DID PERFORM A RE-CALIBRATION ON IT. A YEAR LATER I GOT NOTICE THE RECALL HAD BEEN EXPANDED TO INCLUDE MY PATHFINDER SO I TOOK IT BACK IN AND THEY SAID THEY PERFORMED THE RECALL HOWEVER A WEEK LATER WE GOT THE WARNING AGAIN THAT THE AIRBAG WAS OFF SO THE PROCEDURE THEY DID, NOT FIX OUR ISSUE. I CONTACTED NISSAN CORPORATE AND WAS ASSURED BY [XXX] THAT THEY KNEW THAT THE RECALL WORK DID NOT ALWAYS FIX IT BUT THEY HAD INFORMATION THEY WERE NOT GIVING TO THE DEALERS THAT HE COULD DISCUSS WITH THEM TO FIX IT. I WAS GIVEN CASE NUMBER [XXX] AND I TOOK IT BACK IN ON NOVEMBER 16TH. WE DROPPED IT OFF AND THAT DAY THEY TOLD US NO WORK WAS TO BE PERFORMED BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT RECREATE IT. I INFORMED HIM THAT BACK IN EARLY NOVEMBER THE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AND THAT IT WAS SPORADIC AND THE DEALERSHIP ADVISED THEY COULD DO NOTHING. I GAVE THEM [XXX] INFO WITH NISSAN AND NEITHER HIM NOR I COULD GET A HOLD OF HIM THAT WEEK SO I PICKED THE CAR BACK UP AND CONTACTED NISSAN CORPORATE AND WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND AFTER BEING GIVEN A NEW CASE NUMBER OF [XXX]. THE BOTTOM LINE IS A RECALL FOR MY CAR HAS BEEN MANDATED BY NHTSA, BUT WHAT WAS PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE DID NOT WORK AND NISSAN IS NOT FIXING IT OR EVEN TRYING TO WORK WITH ME. I DO HAVE PHOTO PROOF THAT THERE IS STILL AN ISSUE AND THAT THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT ILLUMINATES EVEN WHEN IT SHOULD NOT.
