There are 4 stored owner reports matching the fuel system leading-label group for the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder in our NHTSA-sourced dataset. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
This group counts stored reports whose component label starts with one of this site's matching prefixes, ignoring case. Each matching report counts once within the group. Components mentioned later in the label or only in the narrative are not searched. How component counts work

Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)THERE WAS A CLACKING NOISE COMING FROM UNDER MY HOOD. AFTER RESEARCHING WHAT THIS COULD BE, IT APPEARED TO BE THE FAN COOLING SYSTEM. THE LOCAL DEALER TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT THIS SEEMED TO BE A PROBLEM WITH MANY OF THE NISSAN PATHFINDERS STATING THAT IT SEEMED SEVERAL OF THE FANS WOULD "GO OUT". ALSO, MY WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID DOES NOT WORK. I'M NOT SURE HOW/WHY THIS WOULD GO OUT; AS ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE STILL WORK.
ALL OUR FUEL INJECTORS HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR A TOTAL OF $2,132. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED ON A 3 YR OLD CAR! WE WERE DRIVING RECENTLY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON AND WE SMELLED A LOT OF GAS.
FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CAUSING INACCURATE FUEL GAUGE READING. THIS HAPPENED WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY
MY VEHICLE RECEIVED A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I TOOK MY VEHICLE INTO A DEALERSHIP AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM. NISSAN APPARENTLY KNOWS ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND HAVE NO IDEA ON HOW TO FIX IT. THEY RECOMMENDED THAT I KEEP THE CAR FILLED TO HALF A TANK OR MORE SO I DO T GET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE ISSUE I HAVE IS IN THE OCCASION I LET THE CAR GET BELOW HALF A TANK AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON HOW CAN I TELL IF IT'S THE FUEL SYSTEM OR SOMETHING ELSE. IT TAKES APPROXIMATELY A WEEK OR MORE FOR THE LIGHT TO GO OFF AFTER REFILLING THE CAR. MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR JUST OVER A YEAR. I'VE ASKED REPEATED TIMES FOR AN UPDATE WITH NO ANSWER.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
