TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN QUEST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCKS ON THE VEHICLE ARE DEFECTIVE. WHEN HE ROLLS UP THE WINDOWS, THEY ROLL BACK DOWN AUTOMATICALLY. ALSO, THE DOORS DO NOT REMAIN LOCKED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY NEED TO DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES. THE CONTACT WILL TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 58,000.
WINDOWS WILL NOT STAY UP. THEY GO DOWN BUT WHEN ROLLED UP COME BACK DOWN HALF WAY. DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW NO LONGER WORKS AT ALL NOW. VAN IS OUT OF WARRANTY SO DEALERSHIP WANTS TO CHARGE OVER $400 TO REPAIR. *TR
I WAS ACCELRATING ONTO AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY WHEN MY WINDSHIIELD CRACKED. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THIS SINCE NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE IN THE VICINITY OF MY VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE WAS NEW (1500 MILES). I REPORTED A STRESS FRACTURE TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED AND TO THE NISSAN CORP. EVERYONE I SPOKE WITH SAID SOMETHING HIT THE GLASS AND REFUSED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF ANYTHING HITTING THE GLASS. MY MECHANIC AND AN INSURANCE INVESTIGATOR AGREED WITH ME. THE PROBLEM REMAINS UNRESOLVED.
POWER WINDOW IN THE 2005 QUEST ROLLED UP ON DRIVER'S HEAD WHILE IT WAS OUT OF THE WINDOW. *TS THE WINDOWS HAVE AND AUTOMATIC ROLL UP FEATURE. THE CONSUMER ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE SWITCH WHILE HEAD WAS OUT THE WINDOW AND THE WINDOW ROLLED UP. THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE AUTOMATIC DOOR SLIDING DOOR CLOSED ON THE CONSUMER'S FINGER. THE CONSUMER AS TAKEN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. THE FINGER WAS NOT BROKEN. *NM
