This causes the door sensor to alarm that the door is open. No other damage was done, and the vehicle has been in no wrecks that would cause this kind of damage. The metal should be strong enough to avoid denting by a seatbelt.
WHEN TURNING RIGHT INTO A PARKING SPACE THE CAR RAPIDLY ACCELERATED ON IT'S OWN AT FULL SPEED SENDING MY CAR INTO A CEMENT POLE. THE CAR WENT OVER THE POLE AND STOPPED. NONE OF AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. SOMEONE CALLED 911 AND THE MY HUSBAND TOOK ME TO THE ER.
