The cruise control and safety driving system shuts off and the message “Forward driving aids disabled. Front sensor blocked” comes on. This happens every few miles now. Pulling over, shutting off the engine, and restarting it resets the system, but it cuts out again. Sometimes if I just keep driving, it will reset itself in a few miles. This has been dangerous at highway speeds due to it coming on and vehicle decelerating suddenly. It's also dangerous because it shuts off the vehicle avoidance system. In a 4 hour trip it can happen up to 6 to 8 times. We've taken it to dealership, but they have not found an error message etc and said they cannot do anything about it unless the issue gets worse or a recall is created for the Lane Camera, which has had reported issues of overheating. The following web link has more information of other drivers with the exact same issue as I described... Nissan installed plastic oil plugs which when reinstalled can fail. This despite the fact the entire oil pan is aluminum. This can occur after the 2 or 3rd oil change causing the car to lose the plug, overheat due to oil loss or have to be towed because plug falls out or becomes easily stripped. Many place such as Jiffy Lube will refuse to service the cars because they may require a tow to the dealer.
This has been a big safety issue for my wife and 10 month old daughter. Randomly while driving on highway or in residential roads, our 2023 nissan rogue will start revving hard. The rpm shoots up to around 5000 and the engine starts to lose power resulting in rapid de-acceleration. As of recent, my wife would have to restart the car to go back to normal functioning mode. This also almost caused her accidents on multiple occasions. We contacted Nissan, opened a case, and they refused to repurchase it or replace it. We are stuck with this car hoping nothing bad happens.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that she noticed that in the spare trunk compartment, a tear gas device was installed and welded into the vehicle by the FBI. The owner placed foil over the device. Additionally, a device containing sarin gas was placed in the vehicle by an unknown source. The contact stated that she had experienced a nosebleed and dizziness due to the devices, and medical attention was provided. The contact stated that an outside source deflated the tires and was able to shut down and accelerate the vehicle using a chip in the key fob, causing her to crash into the sidewalk. A police report was filed. There was no reported fire or air bag deployment. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
Since purchasing the vehicle Dec. 26 2023 there have been a handful of times that the forward collision light comes on and blinks. About the 4th or 5th time this happened, the vehicle also applied the brakes. Slowing me from about 60 mph to about 40 mph rather quickly. Luckily at the time of night this happened there was no traffic around me. It took me a couple of seconds to realize what had happened and to push on the accelerator to regain speed. While the light is blinking my cruise control is disabled. I'm not really sure what else may or may not be disabled but a car that brakes at will scares the hell out of me. I won't let anyone else drive it and if I see other Nissans on the road I stay away from them. I have the 1st of what I feel will be many repair appointments scheduled for Friday February 9th.
Cabin often smells like gasoline, seems like there is a leak somewhere. Dealer told me there is no fix, and that the vehicle is under "Engineering Review".
I bought the car November, 2023. Today I have 5300 miles. Two months after purchase the car while I was driving, it shifted from "D" drive to "1". I went slowly from no speed to around 30 MPH when I heard a roaring noise and saw that the car down shifted. I stopped immediately (no cars behind me). Went to dealership which had no idea of what happened. No one else reported anything like my experience at the dealership Service Department. Happened twice over a couple of months which I did not go back to dealership. I believe it was on April 26, 2025, it happened twice the same day. I slowly went from being stopped and within 100 feet it went to "1". Back to dealership so they made a record. May 17, 2025, I was stopped on a slight incline. I was in "R", With foot on brake I switched to "D". Without moving it went into "1". I happened to be looking at dash. This new. Today dealership could find nothing. In April, 2025, I checked on the computer. Several articles regarding my problem. Nissan is aware of this problem. Someone described my problem exactly and gave a price range to repair and even named the part. Do people have to die before Nissan does a recall?
There is a strong gasoline odor in and around the car after driving
Car and garage reek of gasoline smell. I do not feel well after being in this vehicle. The gas smell is intruding into my home from attached garage.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH or lower, the message, "Engine Power Reduce - Restart Car," was displayed. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, turned off the vehicle, and allowed the vehicle to cool down before restarting the vehicle and continuing to drive. The failure also occurred while starting the vehicle, and the contact had to wait before restarting the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to determine the cause of failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer confirmed that the recall repair was not available and was unable to provide an expected date for parts availability. The vehicle was taken to the dealer approximately nine times. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE Forward Collision Warning on this car since i have had it new . It has been to the local dealer and still has not been fixed. The problem is when it get colder 35 to 50 degrees F out site it will stop working for about 30 to 45 min then start working again for 45 min to an hour then stop working again. during the time it does not work the speed control stops working and forward collision sensors do not work. I have reported this to the local dealer and it has been in the shop over 5 times about this. I was told it is a software problem.
My car has a horrible gas oder, at first only noticed it in the garage but the more I drive it the more I can smell it. Cannot put windows down while driving or you just smell gas. If you run lots of errands in a day you can start to smell it as you approach your car in the parking lot. I have had it in to nissan twice and all they do is replace a hose. But it is not a fix in fact it doesn't help at all
Vehicle is emitting a gas smell after it runs. Smells like gasoline.
WHEN THIS VEHICLE IS PARKED IN THE GARAGE THE ODOR OF GASOLINE FILLS THE GARAGE. WHEN THIS VEHICLE IS PARKED OUTSIDE THE ODOR OF GASOLINE DISSAPPEARS.
My car was purchased in June 2023 and currently has 2,785 miles. I turned my car on and the engine light came on. As I was driving, it was hard to accelerate and my car was not driving properly. I received an email from Nissan Connect stating: Hi [XXX] , Your Rogue's engine may have an emission control system malfunction. If the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is blinking, you may have a misfire or other component malfunction. To reduce or avoid emission control system damage: Do not drive at speeds above 45 MPH (72 km/h). Avoid hard acceleration or deceleration. Avoid steep uphill grades. If possible, reduce the amount of cargo being hauled or towed. I took my car to the Nissan dealer, and they said the engine failed. They don’t know how long it will take to repair. Electronic parking system warning light is ON on four separate dates(12/29/2023, 03/20/2024, 03/28/2024, 04/17/2024). I have video recording as evidence that the warning light is ON. It is a safety risk because it is suppose to be an emergency brake. Took it to the delearship to be inspected multiple times and as of right now, there has been NO resolution. Even the engineer still can’t find a solution to fix it. The manufacturer has been informed.
I can smell fuel inside my vehicle after my vehicle idles for 15-20 minutes. No visible leak on the ground, but fumes permeate my vehicle and have caused headaches to begin with my vehicle occupants and myself. I have noticed after driving and I park inside my garage, I can smell fuel as well, but no visible leak anywhere. The smell lasts for a good while after being parked, but eventually goes away. I made an appointment for December 22nd, 2023 to have it looked at, showed up Riverside Auto Mall of Marquette, MI and was turned away because if the vehicle isn't replicating what I am experiencing, they could not do anything about it because they don't know why its happening. I was told by the service manager to contact her if anyone began experiencing headaches. We did experience headaches at a later date this happened, had an appointment scheduled for April 1, 2024, and was called the same morning of the appointment to have it cancelled due to their "Nissan Technician" not being able to work on it since he was out of town. I was told I would receive a call back to reschedule, and to this day, May 20, 2024, I have not received a call. I have not made another appointment because I have a feeling I will be given the run around again, but I continue to smell fuel intermittently while idling. Not sure what else to do at this point because it is a leased vehicle.
I SMELL A GAS ODOR INSIDE OF MY CLOSE GARAGE AND INSIDE THE CABIN OF MY VEHICLE. I OBSERVED THIS SMELL TODAY. MY VEHICLE 5400 MILES ON IT.
I was stop at a light and I turned off the radio is here when I noticed my engine shut off. I had to place the vehicle on park to start the vehicle again, this has happen twice already. I am concerned with this issue.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the odor of fuel was present inside and outside the vehicle. Additionally, while operating the vehicle, the contact experienced burning eyes, headaches, and nausea due to the fuel odor. Medical treatment was not required. The vehicle was taken to local dealer who replaced the PVC hoses but the failure reoccurred. The contact also stated that the fuel odor was present in the engine oil. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 488.
I bought my first brand new 2023 Nissan Rogue SV Oct 29th 2022. I noticed a weird acceleration at times. Nissan said nothing wrong. Then I believe in spring time.. maybe April that I started noticing my garage smell of gas, the inside of car smells like gas. Nissan fixes it and said part is on backorder but they were going to use a temporary fix that may or may not hold up. October 30 2023 I brought it back in to have same issued fixed. Week of Nov 27 2023 my garage smelt the worst it has ever smelt. Like gas was spilled all over. It was that strong. Inside of car smelt of gas. I had a headache all week. My son did for 3 days. Id come out of work and I could smell the gas before I even got to my vehicle that has been sitting outside all day. I called Burnsville Nissan and asked for another appt. Went today and said couldn't smell it but replaced tube (same as other 2 times) it's a known problem with 2021-23 Nissan Rogues. I see there are plenty of lawsuits and Nissan is well aware and has been aware of this issue. This issue will cause engine failure. It's unsafe. I have 2 young kids. I'm a single mom. What if my engine fails on a freeway out of nowhere with my kids. This is unacceptable for Nissan and needs to be addressed.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle in the garage and later returning to the vehicle, the odor of fuel was present inside the garage. Also, while driving there was a mild odor of fuel present inside the vehicle. The message "Engine Oil, Service Required" was displayed even though the vehicle was recently purchased as a new vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 1,000.
Purchased brand new in January of 2023, engine problems, engine knocks while driving or idle, hesitates when accelerating. stalling when driving, heavy gas smell, bad plastic oil pan, breaks during oil change, cause oil leaks, and engine failure. Vehicle vibrates when braking, bad lower fuel pump.
Check light comes on. Vehicle unexpectedly looses engine power while driving. Very dangerous situation as you don’t have time to pull over. Vehicle restarts then it happens again. Nissan dealership has no fix for the problem and gave us the car back. The vehicle has been to the dealership twice already. This is urgent and very dangerous.
Two repairs unsuccessful’ Warnings and codes of malfunctioning Brakes applied for no reason while I was driving. There was nothing blocking the sensor. No bad weather. No pedestrians. No traffic. They applied. The car stopped wouldn’t move. I received a malfunctioning warning. It went into team Nissan 12/23 ( where it was purchased new 12/23) .They said it was repaired at that first visit for it. Malfunction warnings started again. It was brought back to team Nissan where they told me it’s malfunctioning, computer read codes for malfunction auto brake feature. Nissan service said sensor needs to be replaced but the part is backordered with NO eta. Said a month to a year or more. Sent me on my way. My children ride in this vehicle. I was told they won’t disconnect it because it’s a “safety feature” even if it’s braking on its own for no reason. They didn’t care that there are kids in the vehicle. Nissans consumer affairs is also little help! I’ve told them endless times our safety is at risk, myself annd my two children, and they don’t care. They applied for a buy back and said I’ll have to wait a month to hear but it’s not a guarantee and likely won’t happen and I don’t have to drive it if I don’t want to. What should I do for a vehicle? This is a new vehicle and it’s NOT SAFE! It’s applied the brakes while I’m driving.
In the 5mph stop and go traffic of leaving a sloped parking garage, the brakes did not respond to repeated attempts to stop the Rogue. The brakes did not work with pumping them, hard pressure or light pressure. No collision warning alerts activated. (No beeping, lights or camera occurred as it usually does when an object is close to the vehicle.) No emergency braking activated. The only thing that stopped the Rogue was the impact with the vehicle in front of me. There is damage to the front bumper as well as the rear bumper of the car I hit. I turned off the car for 2 minutes and turned it back on to move it out of the way of the traffic behind me. The brake function returned as normal as did the collision warning alerts. The Rogue was taken to the Nissan dealership from which I purchased it. They state that they are waiting for a Nissan representative specialist to come to the location to attempt to reproduce the issue and fix the problem. There have been zero previous incidents of any kind with this vehicle. I purchased it new in March, 2023. The insurance claim has been filed but no body repairs have been scheduled because the priority is the brake system failure.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the engine made an abnormal knocking sound. The contact stated that while driving with the Adaptive Cruise Control activated, the vehicle failed to decelerate automatically while there was a vehicle in the proximity of the vehicle. The contact stated that the Forward Collision Avoidance: Automatic Emergency Braking system engaged while there was no vehicle or object in proximity of the vehicle. The contact stated that the Lane Keep Assist was engaging and disengaging erroneously. The contact stated while at a complete stop at a red traffic light, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle failed to restart and was pushed to the side of the road with assistance. The vehicle was later able to restart and was driven to the residence; however, the failure persisted while driving. The contact stated that upon arriving to the residence, the check engine warning light was illuminated, and the contact received a notification for emission control problem through the vehicle mobile app. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where the engine was replaced. Additionally, the contact stated that the heater was making an abnormally loud squeaking sound and there was fumes coming through the vents. The contact installed a Carbon Monoxide detector in the vehicle, and the detector indicated that the Carbon Monoxide and Dioxide levels in the vehicle were high. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the heater blower was replaced, and the contact was informed that the exhaust manifold was sealed; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle stalled while driving on another occasion. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was being diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine and Cooling); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered to buy back the vehicle at a low price, but the contact declined. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). The contact stated that there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine. Once the accelerator pedal was depressed, the abnormal sound was heard for a short while before the noise ceased. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that while driving at a slower speed, the abnormal sound was more frequent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. However, no cause for the failure was found. The dealer informed the contact that the sound was normal for the size of the engine. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve had failed. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.
While on the road the check engine light came on. Immediately took said vehicle to the dealership to discover at under 6k miles and only 1 year old, the fuel pump had already gone bad. It was brought to my attention by an associate of said dealership that this has become a common occurrence, and they were surprised that a recall had not been issued.
As I was accelerating to merge onto the toll way from 45 mph to 70 mph, I switched to sports mode and reached almost 74 mph. At that point white smoke started coming from the exhaust and the engine started to severely knock. After a few minutes the check engine, oil and high temperature lights came on, on the dash. The vehicle indicated that I pull over and stopped driving. After towing into the dealership, I was told the engine and turbo system had to be changed. After 2 business days I was informed the engine is on back order and I have been on a loaner for a month as of this report. I escalated the issue to Nissan but I have not got any resolution yet. I drove the vehicle for around 12000 miles for since April this year. Glad it is still under warranty. I asked for a replacement vehicle but nissan said it is not an option and I will have to deal with the base model loaner which is not what I purchased(SV with all upgrades). Any assistance to resolve my situation would be greatly appreciated.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that upon shifting the vehicle into park and releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle automatically shifted out of park, back into drive, and lunged forward. As a result, the vehicle lurched through the garage wall and into the interior of the home, causing significant damages. The air bags did not deploy. Medical attention was not required. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure however, testing was ongoing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 1,500.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was initially taken to the dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed, nor was the failure duplicated. After months with no issues with the vehicle, the contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle started jerking and vibrating excessively while depressing the accelerator. There was no warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the contact immediately pulled over and drove slowly. The contact called another dealer and made an appointment for service. Another diagnostic test was performed on the vehicle, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
When the heat is turned on there’s a strong gas/smoke odor that fills the cabin and it’s very irritating. It irritates my throat and eyes and also I feel light headed if I drive for a long period of time. I have a 9 month old baby that I take to the daycare and this is very concerning to me. I have heard this problem is common among 2021 and newer Nissan rogues.
When car is sitting idle I can smell gas inside the car. Took car to dealership and was told there was a whole in a hose and they would replace the hose. Hose has been replaced and fumes still come into car when idle. The cars was bought new with 117 miles on it. It now has 5072 miles on it. I have been contacting them for the last two months as it took about three weeks for the hose to come in. When I discussed with the dealership I could still smell gas I was told they have had this issue with several of these cars but the hose usually fixes the problem. The smell is so bad that it now makes me sick to my stomach. I tell them I here a rattle in the engine that was not there before. They say the rattle is no more than any other car on the lot. They have not offered to give me something to drive while they figure out the problem. But at this point I feel it is dangerous for me to be driving it. Even just the time sitting at a stop like I can smell fumes.
At about 17900 miles on my 2023 Rogue I got a engine malfunction warning the vehicle speed was reduced to 10pm on the freeway. Luckily I was able to pull over immediately. I had it towed to the Nissan dealer. They informed me it was a foot pedal issue and said the car was fixed. I drove it home fine however the following day the vehicle engine started to smoke and there was smoke coming out of the exhaust. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership and it needs a new engine and turbo. They are trying not to assume responsibility saying lack of maintenance. I had the full service done literally 3 weeks before the incident. There seems to be several people dealing with the same issue.
There is a strong smell of gas/exhaust fumes in the vehicle when it's running. The smell is absolutely nauseating. I've been told that at this point Nissan is aware of the issue and there is no fix as of yet. Now I'm stuck driving a brand new car that is making me and my family ill.
Raw fuel smell in vehicle cabin and garage where vehicle is kept. Fuel fumes have proved harmful to humans. I have an appointment with the Nissan dealer on 12/7/2023. Vehicle has no warning lights or messages, however fuel economy is not as high as indicated by manufacturer.
When driving it has a fuel odor in the cab of the vehicle. Also when the vehicle is in the garage (inclosed space) the entire garage smells of fuel. I have had this to the Nissan Dealership and they claim they can't recreate the issue.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the vehicle independently decelerated. The contact stated that there was traffic behind, and the vehicle decelerated to 10 MPH. The contact stated that drivers were honking their horns for her to speed up. The check engine warning light and a message stated, “Do Not Drive” was displayed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed EGR module. The contact was informed that the EGR module needed to be replaced and reprogrammed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,169.
I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV, I have a consistant odor problem, I have talk to corporate, and my dealer and neither will take responsiblity for the problem. The odor of gasoline smell is both outside and inside of the vehicle. I am going tomorrow (again) to the dealer to get some computer update and will again ask why they cannot fix this problem.
DUNLOP GRANDTREK PT21 235/60/R18 TIRES WERE TAKEN OFF WITH 3MM OF TREAD LEFT AT THE TIME THE VEHICLE HAD 5K MILES ON IT, TIRES WERE ON FROM FACTORY. THE TIRES WOULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO FISHTAIL AND OR HYDROPLANE, A FEW TIMES WE ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, THANK GOD WE HAD AND ANGEL WATCHING OVER US, AND WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL. WE PUT A WARRANTY CLAIM INTO DUNLOP FOR THE TIRES, THEY DENIED IT!!! MEANWHILE, I ORDERED A SET OF WINTER TIRES TO REPLACE THESE BALD TIRES, AS NEW YORK STATE WINTER SETS IN, I NEEDED TO BE SAFE! I HAVE A FRIEND THAT BOUGHT HER VEHICLE 3 DAYS AFTER ME AND HER TIRES ARE THE SAME WAY! TO THE POINT WHERE SHE TRADED! THE PROBLEM WAS IDENTIFIED AT A DEALERSHIP WHEN THE WINTER TIRES WERE PUT ON. THE COMPANY OF THE TIRES DIDNT ASK FOR PICTURES OR ANYTHING JUST DENIED THE CLAIM SAYING IT MUST BE A SUSPENSION ISSUE BUT PRIOR TO FINDING THE TIRES BEING BALD IT WAS AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE THEY FOUND EVERYTHING AS IT SHOULD BE, EXCEPT THE TIRES WERE LOW ON TREAD.
While driving at highway speeds, either in cruise control mode or not I get a sound notification and my dashboard shows a Malfunction message and all safety features have become disabled including cruise control. This has occurred at 389 miles, 3223 miles, 4835 miles, 5047 miles, 6860 miles and 8319 miles. Each time I brought it back to the Nissan dealer. They replaced camera assy-lane keep at 7487 miles and distance sensor at 8727 miles. I feel that I am at risk in that it happens at highway speeds (60-70) mph and suddenly cruise control and forward collision warning become disabled. This occurred on Oct. 24, 2023, Jan. 21, Feb 28, Feb 29, April 3 and June 2 of 2024
Component/System: Engine — Main Bearing (KR15 VC-Turbo Engine Recall 25V-197) I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue manufactured in Smyrna, Tennessee, equipped with the 1.5 L VC-Turbo (KR15) engine. Nissan issued a safety recall stating that the engine bearings could fail and cause sudden loss of power while driving, but the company still has no remedy or repair available. I have been told by the dealership and Nissan Consumer Affairs to “drive the vehicle as minimally as possible” due to the risk of stalling or crashing. This situation puts my safety and the safety of others at risk because the vehicle could lose power at highway speed without warning. I must continue to make car payments for a vehicle I am afraid to drive, and Nissan has not provided a loaner or alternate transportation despite repeated requests. The issue was confirmed by both a Nissan dealer and independent mechanics, who verified that the vehicle has the KR15 engine affected by the recall and noted that it drives roughly and feels shaky. A diagnostic scan showed a code stored in the telematics/GPS system, though no warning lights are illuminated. I have contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs multiple times, and they have documented my case but have not provided any solution or inspection. As of October 2025, the promised repair “available in October” has not been released. The vehicle remains in use only when absolutely necessary and is available for inspection upon request. Warning indicators: No check-engine or dashboard warning lights; symptoms include rough driving and engine vibration beginning earlier this year (2025).
Severe Oil dilution with gasoline and heavy gas smell.
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue equipped with Bridgestone Tires, Tire Line: Alenza Performance, Tire Size: 235/55/R19, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that the vehicle was at the dealer for a service appointment. The contact was informed that all four tires were worn. The contact was informed that all four tires needed to be replaced. The tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle intermittently lost automotive power and independently downshifted. In addition, the vehicle returned to normal operation once the contact shut the engine off and restarted. There were several unknown warning lights illuminated, along with the "Apply Parking Brake" message displayed on the instrument panel while the vehicle was parked. The failure occurred on several different occasions. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
No component had failed. I feel me and my childrens safety is at risk because when I start my car each time I smell fuel. Most of the time it will eventually dissipate, but sometimes it takes a while. The issue has not been figured out. The vehicle has been inspected. My vehicle isn’t showing any warning signs.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated after shifting into drive and driving at low speeds, the front driver’s side seat unintendedly reclined backwards. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer three times, where the computer programming was reset. Additionally, the dealer test drove the vehicle for approximately 400 miles but was unable to duplicate the failure. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,288.
The "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced" light came on while I was driving on a highway during a traffic slow down in Houston, TX on September 9, 2023. After the light came on, I stepped on the accelerator and the vehicle was moving very slowly. I quickly turned on the emergency lights to alert other drivers on the highway and pulled slowly towards the right shoulder. I drove on the right shoulder very slowly even by stepping all the way on the accelerator and exited the driveway. I stopped at a nearly gas station and turned off the engine. I let the engine turned off for 3 to 5 minutes and restarted the vehicle. The "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced" went off and it drove fine after that. It could be a very dangerous situation if this was not happened during a traffic slow down. Fortunately, I was able to get out of the highway safely. This happen when the vehicle total mileage was only at about 9872 miles. I drove the vehicle back to Round Rock, TX and ordered a maintenance service at the Nissan dealership on 9/11/2023. I left the vehicle with the service department for 3 days. After 3 days, the service department told me it was the battery issue and they replaced the battery. I was told the issued was fixed. However, after about a week or two after the service, the "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced" light came on again on 9/22/2023 while starting at a parking lot. I turned off the engine for a few minutes and restarted the vehicle and the light went off. The second time this happen when the vehicle total mileage was at about 10,316 miles. The service department told me the issue was fixed but the issue appears to be still there. I will bring the vehicle back to service but I have totally lost confident in driving the vehicle.
