MY CAR COMPLETELY STOPPED ON THE HIGGHWAY AFTER MY CHECK ENGINE AND OIL LIGHT CAME ON.I TOOK THE CAR TO A DEALER .THEY SAID I HAD 4 RECALLS ON THIS CAR AND THEY REPAIRED 3 OF THE 4 RECALLS. LATER THAT DAY THEY SAID THEY HAD TO GO BACK IN MY ENGINE BECAUSE THE TIMING WILL NOT SET AND THE CAR IS STIILL SHUUTING DOWN. THE CAR IS STILL IN THE SHOP .THE 4 RECALLS WERE SUSP BOLT,ECM FOAM, HEADLAMP AND CRANK SENSOR.
WHILE I WAS HAVING MY OIL CHANGED, THE DIPSTICK BROKE. NISSAN TELLS ME THAT THIS WILL COST $366 TO FIX!!! AFTER LOOKING ONLINE, HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THE GUY AT TRONCOLLI NISSAN IN ATLANTA SAYS THAT ITS BASICALLY "TOUGH LUCK" BECAUSE I SHOULD HAVE PAID THE INSANE PRICES OF A DEALERSHIP OIL CHANGE. NISSAN NEEDS TO RECALL THIS BECAUSE IT IS OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM, AND IF THEY FIX THEM BEFORE THEY BREAK IT WILL BE ONLY A SMALL COST. *AK
I HAVE A 2001 NISSAN SENTRA AND THE "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" LIGHT HAS COME ON. I NOTICED FROM THE NISSAN WEB SITE THAT THERE ARE THREE RECALLS THAT MAY RESULT IN THE LIGHT COMING ON. MY CAR FALLS WITHIN THE VIN RANGE LISTED ON NISSAN WEB SITE. SO, I CONTACTED ONE OF THE NISSAN DEALERS AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD HAVE MY CAR INSPECTED FOR $81 BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS NOT IN THE WARRANTY ANY MORE. I CONTACTED THE NISSAN NATIONAL CONSUMER AFFAIRS OFFICE AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE IF THE CAR IS ON THE RECALL LIST AND MAY HAVE A SAFETY RELATED DEFECT. I AM SURE NISSAN (OR NISSAN DEALERS) CAN MAKE HUGE MONEY BY JUST DIAGNOSING DEFECTIVE NISSAN VEHICLES. *AK
TOOK 2001 NISSAN SENTRA TO PENZOIL TO HAVE THE OIL CHANGED. WHEN THE SERVICE MAN ATTEMPTED TO PULL THE OIL STICK OUT TO VERIFY THE NEW OIL LEVEL, THE MOLDED PLASTIC HANDLE OF THE STICK BROKE, LEAVING THE METAL STICK OUT OF REACH, DOWN THE LONG METAL TUBE THAT LEADS TO THE ENGINE. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, PART OF THE MOLDED PLASTIC WAS ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF THE STICK, MAKING RETRIEVAL BY MAGNET AN IMPOSSIBILITY.*AK
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEAR ON DASHBOARD AND REMAIN ON. *BF THREE REPAIRS WERE DONE ON VEHICLE BEFORE THE RECALL NOTICE CAME OUT THEREFORE CONSUMER WOULD LIKE TO BE REFUNDED. CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER : 03V511000 *TC
1. HORN STOPPED WORKING. DIAGNOSTICS HAVE ISOLATED THE PROBLEM TO A SHORT IN THE WIRING HARNESS LIKELY DUE TO THE WAY IT IS ROUTED AROUND THE VEHICLE RADIATOR. DEALERSHIP SAYS IT HAS SEEN THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. RADIATOR AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO GET TO THE SHORT, REQUIRING AN ENTIRE DAY OF DOWN-TIME PLUS EXTENSIVE HOURLY REPAIR BILL. 2. NON-OPERATING HORN PROHIBITS REQUIRED STATE VEHICLE INSPECTION. VEHICLE FAILS INSPECTION. 3. REPAIRS STILL HAVE TO BE MADE.*AK
HELLO, I OWN A 2001 NISSAN SENTRA. I'VE HAD THE CAR FOR ABOUT 3.5 YEARS AND DURING THAT TIME IT'S HAD AT LEAST 4-5 RECALLS. MOST RECENTLY I TOOK IT IN FOR THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE CASE HOLDER RECALL IN EARLY MARCH. THIS RECALL WAS TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT COULD RESULT IN THE ENGINE SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING. ABOUT TWO MONTHS LATER, I WAS ON THE ROAD SITTING AT A RED LIGHT, AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. I THOUGH THAT MAYBE I HAD IT IN GEAR AND I JUST RELEASED THE CLUTCH ON ACCIDENT, BUT IT HAPPENED TWO MORE TIMES ON THAT TRIP. NOW I CONSTANSTLY HAVE THE ENGINE SHUTTING DOWN ON ME WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN SITTING IN IDLE. IT HAS HAPPENED DURING TURNS IN WHICH IT MADE IT VERY VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER AS THE POWER STEERING IS CUT OFF. I DID TAKE THE CAR IN FOR INSPECTION AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A BAD AIR FLOW METER. I DECLINED TO HAVE IT FIXED AS I THOUGHT THAT IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I EVEN WROTE A LETTER TO NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS, AND REQUESTED THEY FIX MY VEHICLE. HOWEVER THEY DECLINED. *AK

THEY SAY THE REPEATED PURCHASE OF TIRES ARE ALSO NOT CONNECTED TO THE WHEEL REPLACEMENT RECALL FOR WHICH THE WHEELS WERE NOT UPON THEIR INSPECTION. ISSUE IS WHEELS ARE SEPARATING AND ENGINE CONTINUES TO FAIL AND I KEEP SPENDING MONEY IN THE HOPES A 21 YEAR OLD CAN DRIVE SAFELY.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SMOKE AND STALLED ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH SPUTTERING THREE TIMES BUT IT DID NOT STALL. THE DEALER EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE COIL ASSEMBLY FAILED. THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD SEVEN RECALLS AND FOUR OF THEM HAVE BEEN ENGINE RELATED. UPON PICKING UP THE VEHICLE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE DEALER EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AGAIN AND FOUND THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS DEFECTIVE. *NM *NM
I HAVE HAD MY 2001 NISSAN SENTRA A LITTLE OVER 3 YEARS AND WE HAVE HAD MANY RECALLS AND THE LAST ONE ON APRIL 13, 2004 THE DEALER LEFT A PIECE OF FOAM INSULATION AND MY AIR CONDITIONER ( DOES NOT WORK) AND HEATER WORKS NOW SINCE REMOVED THE INSULATION AWAY FROM THE BLOWER MOTOR. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY WERE NASTY WITH ME WHEN I BROUGHT UP THAT THIS SHOULD OF BEEN COVERED UNDER BULLETIN # NTB00091 AND NTB00091B. IF THERE WAS A FAULTY AIRCONDITIONING SYSTEM WHEN THE CAR FIRST CAME OUT THEN SOMEONE SHOULD OF BEEN TOLD. I AM VERY UPSET THAT THIS WAS NOT TOLD TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR. *AK
MY 2001 NISSAN SENTRA SE 2.0 LITRE IS IN THE HABIT OF "DYING" WHILE TRAVELING. IF THERE WERE NO SHOULDER TO PULL ONTO AND RESTART THE CAR A SERIOUS REAR END COLLISION WOULD OCCUR. NISSAN WANTS ME TO PAY FOR REPAIRS AND WILL REIMBURSE ME IF THE 2.0 LITER ENGINE RECEIVES A RECALL LIKE THE 1.8 AND 2.5 LITER ENGINES DID FOR THE SAME SCENARIO. WHAT GIVES? *JB
CONSUMER STATED WHEN THE SUN WAS SHINING FUEL TANK MADE A SIZZLING SOUND. AS A RESULT, FUEL FUMES SEEPED INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. *AK OCCURRED WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS AT 65 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT AND WITHIN 15 MINUTES THE VEHICLE IS IN USE. *LA
THE HANDLE OF MY OIL DIPSTICK ON MY 2001 NISSAN SENTRA GXE BROKE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $500 INORDER TO GET THE HANDLE OUT. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY PEOPLE AND THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL AND SHOULD BE FIXED FREE OF CHARGE.*AK I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THE DIPSTICK OUT.
TRANSMISSION PROBLEM W/ 2001 NISSAN SENTRA GXE, NISSAN REFUSES TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO THEM BEFORE MY WARRANTY WAS UP. NOW MY WARRANTY IS UP AND THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM AFTER SIX TRIPS TO NISSAN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I NEED A KNEW TRANSMISSION AND THEY REFUSE TO PAY FOR IT. WHAT CAN I DO? *AK

WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THEN, VEHICLE STALLED WHILE IN MOTION AND HIT THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. UPON IMPACT, BOTH AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER AND PASSENGER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. *AK

CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL 03V477000 CONCERNING ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE ( EMC) MATERIAL: VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR RECALL REPAIRS, AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE HORN NOT WORKING. APPROXIMATELY A WEEK LATER, VEHICLE WOULD NOT START EVEN THOUGH THE DEALER PERFORMED RECALL REPAIRS. *AK
WHEN APPLYING GAS TO THE VEHICLE ACCELERATOR PEDAL STICKS. DEALER STATES THAT CARBON BUILT UP ON THE THROTTLE CABLE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER, WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. *AK THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VEHICLE WERE RELATED TO RECALL 03V455000 AND 03V477000. *JB
OIL DIPSTICK HANDLE CRACKS OFF LEAVING DIPSTICK STUCK IN ENGINE. THE HANDLE IS PLASTIC IN A HOT AREA BEING THE ENGINE AND HAS A WEAK POINT ON IT. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. SEE DISCUSSION BOARD HTTP://WWW.BROOMEMAN.COM/MT/ARCHIVES/001156.HTML. *JB
RECALL FOR CRANKSHAFT KIT AND RECENT SHUT DOWN OF ENGINE.*MR THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICE AT THE DEALER FOR A CRANKSHAFT SENSOR RECALL. AFTER THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON THE VEHICLE. THE TEST INDICATED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR WAS THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT I THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST HE RUNS CAME UP AS THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR THEN THE CONSUMER WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THE DIAGNOSTICS FEE. THE DIAGNOSTIC WAS RUN AND THE TEST INDICATED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR WAS THE PROBLEM. THE DEALER THEN STATED THAT ALTHOUGH THE TEST INDICATED THAT IT WAS THE CRANKSHAFT, IT REALLY WAS NOT THE SENSOR BUT THE WIRING AROUND THE CRANKSHAFT. THEREFORE THE CONSUMER HAD TO PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE CONSUMER FEELS THIS IS COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND IRRESPONSIBLE OF THE DEALER. *NM
WHILE DRIVING, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD AND REMAINED UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF. THE CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND THE MECHANIC WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK OTHER FAILED PARTS WERE: ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE, CATALYTIC CONVERTER, ELECTRICAL COIL, AND THE CRANK SENSOR. *SC *JB
I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE SENSOR REPLACED DUE TO A RECALL. PRIOR TO HAVING THE RECALL REPAIRS DONE MY CAR HAD NO MAJOR PROBLEMS EXCEPT THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT WOULD NOT GO OFF (IT HAS BEEN ON SINCE 40K MILES). NOW MY CAR STALLS EVERY TIME I SLOW DOWN TO STOP. IF I HAD AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION I WOULD HAVE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD TO RESTART MY CAR. SINCE I HAVE A CLUTCH I CAN POP THE CLUTCH TO RESTART THE CAR BECAUSE I AM STILL DRIFTING. THE DEALERSHIP ALSO TRIED TO TELL ME THAT THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT WAS NOT ON DUE TO THE RECALL BUT BECAUSE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT NO LONGER COMES ON, BUT MY CAR STALLS CONSISTENTLY. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN. I THOUGHT THEY WERE RELIABLE CARS. BUT AFTER HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND HAVING A SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT COME ON SOON AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON.
ON DECEMBER 28, 2003, MY 2001 NISSAN SENTRA CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE DRIVING THROUGH RENO NEVADA. ANOTHER CAR BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT OUR CAR WAS ON FIRE. WHEN MY DAUGHTER PULLED OVER AND OPENED THE HOOD, SHE NOTICED A SMALL FIRE IN THE REAR OF THE ENGINE. SHE MANAGED TO PUT THE FIRE OUT WITH WATER. UPON INSPECTION AT THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN NEVADA, THEY NOTED SOME OBJECT WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND THE CAR FRAME. THE FIRE MELTED ONE CV BOOT.
I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH MY 2001 NISSAN SENTRA. I HAVE POSTED MY PRIOR COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE. MOST RECENTLY I ATTEMPTED TO BACK OUT OF A PARKING SPOT. A SIMPLE ENOUGH TASK ONE WOULD THINK. NOT WITH THIS LEMON. THE CAR STARTED, THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING, THE SHIFT MOVED IN THE R POSITION, HOWEVER THE CAR WAS NOT BUDGING. TURNS OUT THE TRANSMISSION HAD WENT ON MY 2001 CAR. UNACCEPTABLE IN MY OPINION. JUST TO UPDATE EVERYONE, THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE BROKEN IGNITION WIRE, INOPERATIVE HORN AND BROKEN FUEL PUMP THAT I HAVE ALREADY EXPERIENCED WITH THIS LEMON. I HAVE RECEIVED ONLY ONE RECALL REQUEST ON MY VEHICLE SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT IN 2001. THERE ARE NOW SEVERAL RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE MAKE AND MODEL. I HAVE THE PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE THAT ARE DESCRIBED IN A COUPLE OF THE DIFFERENT RECALLS. I CALLED NISSAN TO FIND OUT WHY I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THE RECALLS LISTED. THEY INFORMED ME THAT MY VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THE VIN NUMBER DID NOT FALL UNDER THE RECALL. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAVE THE EXACT PROBLEM DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL. THE TOLD ME THAT I AM JUST HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RECALL. *NLM
CAR DIED IN INTERSECTION, FOR THE SECOND TIME, DUE TO FAULTY SENSORS. MANY SENTRAS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM, MINE IS NOT ONE OF THEM. NISSAN WILL NOT REPLACE MY SENSORS.*AK
WHILE CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL PART OF THE DIP STICK GOT STUCK INSIDE THE OIL COMPARTMENT, AND CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE STICK. *AK
WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING IT STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIME, BUT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT RESTART. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED UNDER RECALL 01V357000. *AK THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 7 DAYS AFTER THE RECALL ENDED. *NLM
WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED TO 70 MPH. BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED TO REDUCE SPEED, BUT FAILED TO DO SO. VEHICLE STOPPED WHEN IT IMPACTED THE HIGHWAY'S MEDIUM. THE CAUSE OF THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION WAS UNDETERMINED. *AK

WHILE DRIVING FRONT TIRES WEAR PREMATURELY. CONSUMER STATES TIRES HAVE BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. *AK TIRES HAVE BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES DUE TO PREMATURE WEAR.*MR
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH VEHICLE STALLED AND SHUT DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. BEFORE TOTAL SHUT DOWN STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKES LOCKED UP, ALMOST RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO IN TURN INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT THE CRANK POSITIONING SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE, BUT NOT FOR CONSUMER'S VIN NUMBER. THE DEALER WANTED TO CHARGE CONSUMER FOR RECALL REPAIRS. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. *AK
I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE ONGOING PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE. . I HAVE HAD TO BRING IT IN FOUR TIMES FOR AN INOPERATIVE HORN. I WOULD DISCOVER THAT HORN WAS NOT WORKING, I'D BRING IT IN AND IT WOULD FUNCTION, THEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS WOULD PASS AND AGAIN IT WOULD BE INOPERATIVE. THEY FINALLY REPLACED THE HARNESS, AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING FOR 2 STRAIGHT MONTHS. THIS MIGHT NOT SEEM LIKE A BIG DEAL, BUT IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE BROUGHT IT IN TWICE FOR A BROKEN IGNITION WIRE. THE FIRST TIME THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM. THE CAR WAS RELEASED TO ME AND TWO DAYS LATER I HAD IT TOWED IN BECAUSE IT WAS DEAD. I HAVE HAD BREAK ISSUES, MY BREAKS WERE APPARENTLY WARPED AND NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.THE LATEST THING TO GO WAS THE FUEL PUMP. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, IN THE MIDDLE LANE, DURING RUSH HOUR WHEN THE CAR JUST STOPPED. I HAD NO WHERE TO GO AND WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE. A FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE. I AM NOW TOLD THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN MY CAR WILL BE FIXED, NOR ARE THEY WILLING TO PROVIDE ME WITH ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION. AM I JUST SUPPOSED TO ACCEPTT THAT ALL OF THIS GOES WRONG WITH MY 2001 CAR? I BOUGHT A NEW CAR SO I WOULD HAVE SAFE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. THIS HAS YET TO HAPPEN. WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, WITH NO WARNING THE VEHICLE STALLED, AND IT WAS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK THE VEHICLE WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START. THE DEALER FOUND THE SENSOR CIRCUIT CAM AND CRANK SENSOR WERE BAD AND REPLACED THEM. RECALL #01V357000 *SCC
DUNLOP TIRES SP20FE CAME COMPLETELY APART WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THIS TIRE FAILURE CAUSED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO MY CAR AND POTENTIAL LIFE THREATENING SITUATION WHILE I WAS GOING OVER A SEVEN MILE BRIDGE. *TT
DEFECTIVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR, WHICH CAUSED ENGINE TO CEASE TWICE WHILE DRIVING. CAR WAS TOWED TO DEALER, WHO SAID THEY WOULD LOOK AT IT. MEANWHILE, WENT TO NISSAN WEBSITE AND FOUND THE EXACT CAUSE. I THEN CALLED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND WAS INFORMED MY CAR SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED. I THEN CALLED DEALER'S SVC MGR, WHO SAID HE WASN'T SURE. I TOLD HIM I SPOKE WITH THEIR CONSUMER DEPT AND THEY CONFIRMED THE CAR HAD A RECALL PROBLEM. HE CALLED BACK 2 HRS LATER AND SAID MY CAR WAS FIXED. I ASKED ABOUT THE $65 TOWING REFUND. HE SAID TO CALL NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS. ALL OWNERS OF 2001 NISSAN SHOULD IMMEDIATELY BE NOTIFIED OF THIS DANGER. *NLM

WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY BOTH FRONT TIRE TREADS SEPARATED FROM THE WHEEL. THE TIRES WERE DUNLOP. *NLM
THE VEHICLES VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL RELATED TO THE CAMSHAFT SENSORS WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING (RECALL NUMBER 01V-357000). *MR *SCC *NLM
CAR DIED IN INTERSECTION DUE TO FAULTY SENSOR. MANY SENTRAS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM, MINE IS NOT ONE OF THEM. NISSAN WILL NOT REPLACE MY SENSORS.*AK
