REAR DRIVERS SIDE DOOR LOCK WILL NOT UNLOCK FROM INSIDE; CAN'T OPEN THE DOOR. CAR IS STATIONARY,
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOORS. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT WATER ENTERED THE VEHICLE WHENEVER IT RAINED. WATER WAS ALSO LEAKING FROM THE TRUNK NEAR THE REAR END OF THE BUMPER. WHEN THE CONTACT OPENED THE TRUNK, WATER WAS ALSO PRESENT IN THE AREA WHERE THE SPARE TIRE WAS LOCATED. THE WATER LEAKED OUT OF THE TRUNK WITHIN APPROXIMATELY THREE DAYS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO CONFIRMED THE DEFECT WAS RELATED TO A POOR VEHICLE DESIGN, WHICH COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,291.
I WAS DRIVING AT 70 MPH ON NORTHBOUND I-75 WHEN I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE AN EXPLOSION AND REALIZED THAT THE GLASS FROM MY SUNROOF WAS IN MY LAP. I REALIZE GLASS CAN BREAK BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE IN MY LAP AT 70 MPH! I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE KEPT MY COMPOSURE, SAFELY EXITED THE HIGHWAY AND DROVE STRAIGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP.

ONE DAY MY REAR DOORS WOULDN'T UNLOCK OR LOCK, WHEN THIS HAPPENS HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE CLIMB INTO THE BACK SEAT FROM THE FRONT SEAT TO UNLOCK. WHEN YOU LOCK THE DOORS U MUST CHECK TO SEE IF THEY LOCKED, THERE ARE DAYS THE LOOKS WORK BUT MOST DAYS THEY DO NOT WORK. I FEEL THIS WOULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE IF EVER IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED A LARGE ACCUMULATION OF WATER ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE FLOORBOARD. THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS MOLD UNDER THE FRONT AND REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE CARPET. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS REPAIRED. THE PROBLEM RECURRED TWO TIMES AND THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS REPAIRED EACH TIME. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS OF THE HEALTH ISSUES RELATED TO THE MOLD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNAVAILABLE.
I HAVE A PONTIAC G6 2008 AND HAVE A LOCK PROBLEM WITH THE BACK PASSENGER DOOR. SOMETIMES IT UNLOCKS, OTHER TIMES IT DOES NOT. HAVE TO UNLOCK MANUALLY OR CRAWL OVER FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE TO UNLOCK. NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERS TO LOOK AT AND UNFORTUNATELY IT WORKED PERFECTLY - MURRAY LAW. *TR
WATER DRAINS FROM THE DOME LIGHT AREA AND SUNROOF. BROUGHT IT IN MULTIPLE TIMES TO PONTIAC SHOPS. THEY SAY THE FIXED THE ISSUE, BUT IT HAPPENS AGAIN MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD. THIS APPARENTLY HAPPENS TO MANY PONTIAC 6 2008 OWNERS. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE AS THE LEAK OCCURS WHEN I'M DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND DISTRACTS ME FROM THE ROAD. IT NEVER HAPPENS WHEN I'M STILL, ONLY WHEN THE CAR IS MOVING. I HAVE ALL THE REPORTS FOR ALL THE VISITS I'VE MADE SINCE I BOUGHT THIS CAR NEW IN 2008. THEY GAVE ME AN EXTENDED WARRANTY SINCE THIS KEEPS HAPPENING, BUT THAT IS RUNNING OUT SOON AND GM REFUSES TO BACK THE ISSUE OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY CAUSING ME TO PAY OUT OF POCKET IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW THAT THEY REFUSE TO PUBLISH AND PLACE A RECALL. *TR
