WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 55-60 MPH VEHICLE HIT A POTHOLE IN ROAD SURFACE WHICH CAUSED RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE RIM TO BUST AND CRACK INTO THREE OR FOUR PIECES. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED DEALER. THE SIZE OF THE RIM IS NOT AVAILABLE. *AK CONSUMER STATES THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE TIRE, ONLY THE RIM. *SLC

WINDSHIELD HAS DISTORTION HORIZONTALLY THROUGH THE DRIVERS VIEWING AREA. THIS WAS PRESENT ON THE ORIGINAL AS WELL AS THE REPLACEMENT. SEVERE DISTORTION WAS ALSO PRESENT ON EACH SIDE OF THE ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD AND ALONG THE LOWER EDGE OF THE REPLACEMENT WINDSHIELD. DISTORTION IS CAUSING IMPAIRED VISION AS WELL AS DRIVER FATIGUE DUE TO HEADACHE AND NAUSEA. *AK
LOW COOLANT LAMP REMAINS ON FOR LONG PERIODS. WATER NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO RADIATOR BEFORE DRIVING BECAUSE THE COOLANT WILL NOT SIPHON BACK INTO THE RADIATOR FROM THE PLASTIC RECOVERY TANK. *AK
WHILE DRIVING IN A HEAVY DOWN POUR WHEN WIPERS WERE NEEDED, PASSENGER'S SIDE WIPER ARM STOPPED WORKING, AT FIRST THEN RESTARTED WORKING OFF SET, CAUSING PASSENGER'S SIDE WIPER ARM TO FIGHT WITH DRIVER'S SIDE WIPER ARM, RESULTING IN POOR DRIVER'S VISIBILITY. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER.*AK *SLC
HEADLIGHT LENSES FELL OFF WHEN DRIVING. MOISTURE GOT ON BULB, CAUSING IT TO BURN OUT, UNABLE TO SEE.CONTACTED DEALER. HAD PART REPLACED; HOWEVER, PROBLEM REOCCURRED.*AK
2001 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX RECALL FOR FRONT ROCKER ARM GASKET. CONSUMER IS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH GETTING THE RECALL PERFORMED. *NJ THE CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALER 2 TIMES TO TRY AND GET THE RECALL FIXED. THE FIRST TIME SHE WAS TOLD THE REPLACEMENT WAS NOT NEEDED AND IF SHE PAID $75.00 THE DEALER WOULD STEAM CLEAN THE ENGINE TO VERIFY A POSSIBLE OIL LEAK. THE SECOND TIME SHE VISITED THE DEALER, SHE WAS TOLD SHE NEEDED TO PAY $400.00 TO REPLACE A SEAT BELT TENSIONER SO THE TECHNICIAN COULD REPLACE THE VALVE COVER GASKET. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. *JB
WHILE TRAVELING SIDE FUMES FROM OTHER VEHICLES WERE INSIDE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED.*AK
TIRE JUST WENT FLAT WHILE DRIVING. PULLED OVER IMMEDIATELY. SHOP SAID IT WAS RUN FLAT AND COULDN'T REPAIR. ORIGINAL DEFECT AT JUNCTION OF SIDEWALL AND TREAD.*AK (TIRESIZE: P215/65R16)( DOT NUMBER: TIRE SIZE: P215/65R16 )
IN SUNNY WEATHER REFLECTION ON INTERIOR OF FRONT WINDSHIELD FROM DASH PAD VERY BAD AND EVERY DETAIL OF DASH IS REFLECTED ONTO WINDOW, CAUSING STRAIN ON EYES, ALSO CAUSING DISTRACTION OF NOTICING OBJECTS ON DASH. DASH IS GRAY.
WHILE DRIVING ON SNOW OR ON RAINY ROADS ACCELERATION TENDS TO SKID, LOSING CONTROL.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT AN INCLINE ROAD TRACKING SYSTEM ON FRONT TIRES TEND TO SPIN AND VEER TO T LEFT, LOSING CONTROL.*AK
LAWYER JEFF MEYERSON ON BEHALF OF OWNER: THE DEALER OR FACTORY INSTALLED CUSTOM WHEELS MANUFACTURED BY DETATA, WHICH BROKE OFF OF VEHICLE DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE CAR STRUCK A GUARD RAIL AND FLIPPED CAUSING 2 FATALITIES AND INJURIES TO OTHERS. *JG

THE CONSUMER EXPRESSED THANKS FOR AN INSPECTION THAT WAS PERFORMED ON THE CAR SEAT. MR...*AK *JB
WHEN THE CONSUMER ACTIVATED THE TURN TO SIGNAL TO INDICATE A LANE CHANGE, THERE WAS A VERY RAPID CLICKING OF THE TURN SIGNAL RELAY. THE LIGHT INDICATOR ON THE DASH DID NOT FLASH, BUT FROM THE CLICKING NOISE, THE CONSUMER THOUGHT THE TURN SIGNALS WERE OPERATING PROPERLY, THE CONSUMER FINALLY DISCOVERED THE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT FLASHED TWICE OF ITS NORMAL SPEED, HOWEVER THE CORRESPONDING FRONT SIGNAL WAS NOT FLASHING AT ALL. *AK *SCC *JB
FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR STEERING WHEEL HAD BEEN LOOSE. IN ONE INSTANCE, STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTER BUTTON POPPED OFF WHILE DRIVING, AND THE STEERING WHEEL FELL INTO THE DRIVER'S LAP. DEALER HAD ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR THE STEERING WHEEL, BUT HAD NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM. *AK
CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING MALFUNCTIONING TWICE IN LESS THEN 1700 MILES. MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, AND STATED THAT THEY HAD NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE.*AK
IN A PANIC OR EMERGENCY SITUATION THE HORN WAS USELESS DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE FORCE NEEDED TO ENGAGE IT, PER CONSUMER. *AK THIS FAILURE OCCURRED ON A DAILY BASIS. *SCC *NLM
