WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, HEADLIGHT LOW BEAMS TURNED OFF AUTOMATICALLY. HIGHBEAMS AND TURNING SIGNALS WORK FINE. CHECKED FUSES, THEY WERE GOOD. CHECKED BULBS, THEY WERE GOOD. LOWBEAM HEADLIGHTS STILL WILL NOT WORK. *TR
THE ISSUES I HAVE WITH MY 07 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GXP ARE THE FOLLOWING MORE OFTEN THAN NOT NOW WHEN TAKING OFF FROM A STOP TRANSMISSION REVS UP AND SLAMS INTO GEAR CAUSING WHEEL SPIN GOING DOWN HIGHWAY TORQUE CONVERTER WILL LOCK UP AND RELEASE AT CRUISING SPEEDS 65-70 MPH CAUSING CAR TO BUCK ERRATICALLY CAUSING STABILITY ISSUES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 10 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT NO FAILURE WAS FOUND DURING THE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK. THE FAILURE RECURRED FOUR MORE TIMES. EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER BUT EACH TIME, THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,973 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,300.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILURE. TRANSMISSION SHUDDERS, SLIPS AND SLAMS INTO GEAR. GXP MODEL. *TR
I HAVE HAD MY 2007 GRAND PRIX FOR 5 YEARS NOW AND IT HAS ABOUT 55,000 MILES ON IT. IN NOVEMBER OF 2011, I PAID CENTURY BUICK GMC (TAMPA, FL) TO REPLACE THE IGNITION MODULE AND CRANK SENSOR BECAUSE MY CAR HAD DIED WHILE ON MY WAY TO WORK. ON OCTOBER 1, 2012, I BROUGHT MY CAR IN BECAUSE IT AGAIN DIED WHILE DRIVING TO WORK. AT THIS POINT, I PAID ANOTHER $550 TO REPLACE THE IGNITION MODULE SINCE I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS THE SAME PART FROM THE YEAR BEFORE. THEN AGAIN ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2012, MY CAR DIED WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (70 MPH) AT NIGHT. IT WAS A VERY UPSETTING, FRUSTRATING AND SCARY SITUATION TO BE IN AND I CAN?T IMAGINE IF I HAD BEEN ALONE AND STRANDED. WHEN I FINALLY HEARD FROM THE DEALER ON MONDAY, THEY SIMPLY SAID I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE CRANK SENSOR. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED THIS PROBLEM A MONTH AGO, HE THEN SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE PART FOR FREE. SINCE I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS RESPONSE TO THE PROBLEM, I ASKED TO SEE THEIR COPY OF MY FILE TO REVIEW IT AND BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID TO REPLACE THESE PARTS A YEAR AGO. THEY SEEMED TO BE SURPRISED ABOUT THIS AND SAID THEY WOULD SUBMIT PAPERS FOR REIMBURSEMENT. IN THE END, I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT I MUST HAVE RECEIVED TWO SETS OF FAULTY PARTS. I ASKED IF THERE COULD BE AN UNDERLYING PROBLEM TO CAUSE THESE PARTS TO GO BAD AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS "NOT THAT THEY CAN SEE." I THEN DROVE AWAY AFTER THEY SAID THEY HAD FIXED THE CAR AND I BROUGHT IT BACK WITHIN TWO HOURS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT DRIVING CORRECTLY. LATER THAT DAY, I WAS TOLD THEY HAD NOT REPLACED THE SPARK PLUG CORRECTLY AND THAT IT IS NOW FIXED. *TR
THE CAR HAS HAD OFF AND ON TRANSMISSION ISSUES. FROM A STOP, WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. IT BOGGED BADLY, LIKE IT WAS IN 2ND, SUDDENLY IT SLAMMED INTO FIRST AND I WAS ON MY WAY. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL INSTANCES OF ROUGH SHIFTS. ALSO, AT TIMES I'LL BE GOING VERY SLOW 0-10MPH AND NEED TO ACCELERATE IN TRAFFIC. THE CAR HESITATES FOR A SECOND BEFORE REGAINING RPM. I HAVE NOT BEEN STRANDED YET BUT WANTED TO RECORD THE INCIDENTS. I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THIS CAR AND THE 4 GMS I DROVE BEFORE ( ALL 100K+, 2 OF THEM 220K+), BUT THESE ISSUES ARE STARTING TO WORRY ME. *TR
DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR SHUTS DOWN, LIKE SOMEONE UNPLUGGED THE ENGINE. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC MOMENT IN MY LIFE, SEMI TRUCKS ZOOMING PAST ME. FINALLY MADE MY WAY TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AND HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK, CAR WAS TOWED HOME AND THE TOW TRUCK GUY PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. DROVE THE CAR TO WORK AND IT SHUT DOWN AGAIN THIS TIME I WAS ONLY DOING 35 MPH. I WAITED FOR ABOUT 30 MIN AND THE CAR STARTED RIGHT BACK UP, ON MY HOME FROM WORK IT DID IT AGIN. THE FOLLOWING WEEK IT DID IT AGIAN, TOOK THE CAR TO A "GM" CERITIFIED MECHANIC BUT OF COURSE THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM, PICKED THE CAR UP AND DROVE IT FOR A FEW DAYS IT HAPPENED AGAIN, TOOK IT BACK TO THE GM MECHANIC, STILL COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG, PICKED IT UP A WEEK LATER SAME ISSUE. TO SUM IT UP I HAVE HAD THE IGNITION MODULE AND THE CRANK SENSOR SHAFT AND STILL CAN NOT LOCATE TH PROBLEM. THE CAR IS TOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND NOW IT'S JUST SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY AND WON'T START AT ALL. GM REALLY NEEDS TO TAKE A LOOK AT THIS SITUATION BRFORE SOMEONE GETS REALLY HURT, THE CAR IS DEFECTIVE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A PONTIAC 2007 GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ACTIVATED WHEN HEADLIGHTS SUDDENLY FAILED TO ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH CAUTION. THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS WERE ENGAGED IN ORDER TO RESUME DRIVING. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000. UPDATED 06/12/12*LJ UPDATED 06/13/12
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ON A SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ROAD BECAME DARK. I GOT OUT TO SEE IF MY HEADLIGHTS WERE ON AND THEY WEREN'T . SO I GOT BACK IN THE CAR AND BEGAN TO CHANGE THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH FROM AUTOMATIC TO ON. NOTHING. THEN I WENT FROM LOW BEAM TO HIGH AND AGAIN NOTHING. THEY I HAD MY FUSE BOX CHANGED AS WELL AS THE GROUND WIRE. NOTHING. I BEGAN TO RESEARCH ONLY TO FIND OUT ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE STARTED TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM STARTING AUGUST 2010 UNTIL PRESENT (10/2011). *TT
I WAS DRIVING HOME AND THE RUNNING LIGHTS WERE ON. I WAS GOING APPROXIMATELY 45 MILES AN HOUR WHEN THE HEAD LIGHTS WENT OFF. I TURNED THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I TURNED THE LIGHTS OFF AND A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON THAT SAID "HEADLAMPS SUGGESTED". I TRIED TO TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON BUT MY HIGH BEAMS WERE THE ONLY ONES OPERABLE. THE HEADLIGHTS DID NOT WORK FOR 4 HOURS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF. THIS OCCURS MORE FREQUENTLY THAN IT USED TO BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX IT. *TR
NEW OWNER OF PONTICA GRAND PRIX. NEVER OWNED A PONTICA, PURCHACE FOR WIFEY RED COLOR SHE LIKE IM A PRO MECHANIC 20 YEARS OR BETTER AND HAD DID THE RESEARCH HEARD ABOUT TRANS IN PONT. FAILURE ALSO DOOR ACTURATOR BEEN BAD COULD BET THE PRICE 2 MONTHS LATER TRANS B/O (BAD OPERATION) I DROP PAN AND FOUND THE FOWARD BAND BROKEN IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS STOP WELDED ON AND BROKE RIGHT AFTER THE SPOT WELD SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAST ONE PIECES BUT NO! (I BELIEVE DEFECT IN MANUFACTURING) SHOULD HAVE BEEN CASTED I LOVE USA BUT IF THEY DONT STAND-UP ITS NISSIAN FOR ME. I REPLACE TRANS. LKQ LOW MILES 25,000! WILL BE TRADING FOR GUEST WHAT WONT BE GM! DRIVING HOME AT NIGHT WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME. ALL OF THE OTHER LIGHTS ARE WORKING. HAD TO PUT ON THE HIGH BEAMS JUST TO GET HOME. NEXT MORNING CHANGES BOTH BULBS CHECKED FUSES. NOTHING. WENT ON LINE TO FIND ANY SUGGESTIONS AND TO MY SURPRISE I SEE THIS IS A FREQUENT PROBLEM. MANY FOLKS HAVE TRIED MANY DFFERENT FIXES BUT I HAVE NOT FOUND ONE LINK THAT GAVE A SOLUTION. I DID SEE SEVERAL BLOGS THAT STATED THERE WERE ISSUES WITH THE KEYLESS REMOTE JUST PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. I HAVE HAD SOME ISSUES WITH MY KEYLESS I HAVE TO HIT IT SEVERAL TIMES TO UNLOCK OR LOCK THE DOORS. I HAVE A VERY LIMIT INCOME AND CANNOT GO AROUND HAVING THINGS REPLACED WITH NO FIX. THIS IS MY SECOND GRAND PRIX , MY FIRST I HAD NO PROBLEMS EVER. I LOVED BOTH CARS AS THEY ARE SAFE AND ALWAYS DEPENDABLE. I DO HAVE TO SAY THIS ISSUE NOW HAS ME VERY UPSET AS THERE IS NO RESOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE. I NEED SOME SORT OF ASSISTANCE ON THIS. AS IT IS SUCH A FREQUENT ISSUE PONTIAC SHOULD BE LOOKING INOT A RESOLUTION OR LEAST OFFER SOME ASSITANCE SO PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY GUESSING ON WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND NOT HAVE A FIX. TRAVELING AND ABOUT TO MERGE ONTO THE INTERSTATE (SPEED OF 75 MPH) TURNED LEFT TURN SIGNAL TO BEGIN MERGE AND ALL EXTERIOR HEAD LIGHTS WENT BLACK, NO LOW BEAMS NOR HIGH BEAMS NOR EVEN PARKING LIGHTS EXISTED! ROTATED THROUGH LIGHTING SWITCH OPTIONS REPEATEDLY IN HOPE OF REGAINING SIGHT - NOTHING. PULLED OFF TO SHOULDER AND PARKED CAR. THANKFULLY NOONE WAS BEHIND ME! HAZARDS WORKED, ALL OTHER OUTER LIGHTS WORKED, ALL INTERIOR LIGHTS WORKED. CHECKED BOTH FUSE BOXES - NOTHING BLOWN. AFTER 20 MINUTES LOW BEAMS ON MANUAL SETTING CAME ON - NO OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE. VERY CAUTIOUSLY DROVE THE REMAINING 90 MINUTES TO HOME. HAD CAR CHECKED AT DEALERSHIP, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE PROBLEM. UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING AT RANDOM. VERY SCARED! STILL UNABLE TO GET A DIAGNOSED PROBLEM. HUNDREDS SPENT ON TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEM WITHOUT RESOLUTION. THIS IS NOT A SAFE VEHICLE - AND WAS PURCHASED OUTRIGHT AS A FAMILY VEHICLE WITH LESS THAN 30,000 MILES ON IT! MAD!! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC GRAN PRIX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD CONSTANTLY FAIL WHILE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST BUT WAS UNABLE TO GENERATE ANY FAILURE CODES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT WARNING ALARM GOES OFF, EVEN WHILE THE SEAT BELT IS ENGAGED. THE CLOCK AND RADIO DISPLAY LIGHTS NO LONGER WORK. WENT TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE FROM IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE AND DISCOVERED BY ACCIDENT, THAT I COULD SHIFT MY CAR INTO REVERSE WITHOUT DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL OR PUSHING IN ON THE PAWL BUTTON ON THE SHIFTER. I HAD GOTTEN A SHIRTSLEEVE HUNG UP ON THE SHIFTER AND PULLED MY ARM BACK AND THE CAR STARTED INTO REVERSE ON ITS OWN. THIS IS A CONSTANT CONDITION, AND I HAVE NOT MADE CONTACT WITH A DEALER, THOUGH BASED ON MY PAST EXPERIENCES WITH GM DEALERSHIPS, THEY WON'T FIX IT, OR WILL BLAME ME FOR THE CONDITION. THIS IS WHY I AM SUBMITTING THIS REPORT FIRST. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE LOW BEAMS ON MY CAR SUDDENLY FAILED, AND I COULD NOT GET THEM TO GO BACK ON. FORTUNATELY, THE HIGH BEAMS STILL WORKED. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE SAME THING HAPPENED WITH MY DAY RUNNING LIGHTS WHICH ARE TIED IN WITH THE LOW BEAMS. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE LOCAL PONTIAC DEALERSHIP AND IT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL IN DUPLICATING THE PROBLEM. I THEREFORE DECIDED TO GOOGLE THE ISSUE TO DETERMINE IF THERE WERE OTHERS WHO SHARED THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR AS I OWNED. LO & BEHOLD, THERE WERE NOT A FEW WHO ALSO EXPERIENCED LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHT FAILURE. I ALSO NOTED THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS NOT SPECIFIC TO JUST 2007 MODEL YEAR PONTIAC GRAND PRIXS, BUT ALSO OTHER MODEL YEAR GRAND PRIXS, AND EVEN SOME BUICK MODELS). SOME POSTERS HAD SUGGESTED THAT THE ISSUE WAS WITH A RELAY, GM PART # 15016745, AND ONCE THEY REPLACED THIS PART, THEY NEVER HAD THE PROBLEM REOCCUR. SINCE I WAS HESITANT TO PURCHASE A PART OF WHICH I HAD NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD WORK, I WENT TO THE WEB SITE JUSTANSWERS.COM, AND PAID A GM EXPERT $35 IN HOPES THAT HE COULD HE COULD FIND RESOLUTION. HE INDICATED THAT THE LOW BEAM FAILURE WITH MY CAR WAS COMMON, AND HE, TOO, RECOMMENDED GM PART # 15016745, WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE UNDER-HOOD FUSE BLOCK. I PURCHASED THE RELAY WHICH I FOUND ON GMPARTS.COM, AND RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY. I HAVE, YET, TO INSTALL IT, AND I'M HOPING THAT THAT IS THE PROBLEM. IT IS FRIGHTENING TO HAVE YOUR HEADLIGHTS FAIL WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. I AM WRITING YOU SO THAT YOU MIGHT INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE, AND ABATE ANY POTENTIAL ACCIDENTS. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS IF THERE HAVE ALREADY BEEN ANY DEATHS RESULTING FROM THIS SERIOUS ISSUE. THANK YOU.
I AM EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT TRANSMISSION SLIPPING AS WELL AS MALFUNCTIONING FROM A START. *TR
HEADLIGHTS LOW BEAM RANDOMLY TURN OFF DURING NIGHT DRIVING. WHEN USING TURN SIGNAL THE HEADLIGHT HIGH BEAM TURNS-ON AND CANNOT BE TURNED OFF WITH SWITCH, THE ONLY WAY TO TURN-OFF HIGH BEAM IS TO PRESS FORWARD ON TURN SIGNAL. *KB
I FOUND OUT THERE IS A RECALL ON THE 2007 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX WITH IT'S FUEL SYSTEM. AS QUOTED, "THE FUEL TANK IS MISSING THE ADHESIVE LAYER THAT BONDS THE BARRIER LAYER TO THE OUTER SHELL OF THE FUEL TANK" - THIS PROBLEM INCREASES THE RISK OF FIRE! I JUST PURCHASED A 2007 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX AND HAVE SMELLED GAS AND ALSO THE GAS CAP WILL NOT GO ON TIGHT. THE EMISSION LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY ON BECAUSE OF THIS GAS ISSUE. I DRIVE 46 MILES A DAY FOR MY WORK AND NOW READING THIS I DO NOT FEEL SAFE ON THE HIGHWAY I HAVE TO TRAVEL. I JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AND IT WASN'T TWO DAYS AFTER OWNING IT THAT THE EMISSION LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH AND GAS SMELL WAS PRESENT. I CAN NOW SEE THIS IS THE PROBLEM FROM THIS RECALL. I WANT TO KNOW WHO OR WHAT I CAN DO TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED. I WILL SEEK AN ATTORNEY IF NECESSARY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT SOMETHING TO PLAY WITH - NOW I DON'T EVEN WANT TO HAVE ANYONE ELSE IN THIS VEHICLE WITH ME. THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS RANDOMLY TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. WE HAVE TRIED USING THE AUTO SETTING, AND THE "ON" SETTING AND IT HAPPENS EITHER WAY. THE LAMPS ARE FINE, THE FUSES ARE FINE, THE WIRING IS FINE. WE ARE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM. THIS MAKES THE CAR NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO BE DOING 55 MPH AND HAVE THIS HAPPEN.
VEHICLE HAD SYMPTOMS OF TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. DEALERSHIP COULD NOT FIND ANY, SERVICED IT WITH A TRANSMISSION FLUSH SINCE DID NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. THE CAR WAS SHIFTING ROUGHLY AT HIGHWAY SPEED. COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH TRANSMISSION, SAID IT WAS LIKELY THE DISPLACEMENT ON DEMAND, AND SHIFTING BETWEEN 4CYL AND 8 CYL. IT IS NOW SHIFTING HARD, NOT EACH TIME DRIVEN, BUT MOST TIMES. I OWN 2 OF THESE CARS AND THE TRANSMISSION ON THE 2006 JUST COMPLETELY FAILED, AND I RECOGNIZE NOW THAT THE PROBLEM IS THE TRANSMISSION, NOT THE DOD. I SEE FAR TOO MANY COMPLAINTS WITH THE PARTICULAR TRANSMISSION CROAKING WAY BEFORE IT SHOULD. I AM AFRAID THIS 2007 IS GOING TO REQUIRE THE SAME FIX, A FACTORY REBUILT TRANSMISSION, WHICH IS 3,000.00. PLEASE, PLEASE FORCE A RECALL AS THESE TRANSMISSIONS SHOULD NOT BE FAILING AT THE RATE THEY ARE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 25 MPH WHEN THE REDUCE ENGINE POWER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED. VEHICLE LOW BEAMS WILL NOT TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY OR MANUALLY. ALL BULBS AND FUSES ARE GOOD. HEADLIGHTS USED TO WORK AUTOMATICALLY WHEN VEHICLE WAS TURNED INTO THE ON POSITION, BUT NOW ONLY ALL OTHER LIGHTS WORK INCLUDING DASH,HIGH BEAMS, AND PARKING LAMPS. CURRENTLY I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE IN THE DARK. I AM ALSO AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE IN FEAR OF POOR WEATHER. IT IS SUMMER CURRENTLY AND NOW FEAR RAIN AND IN THE FUTURE MONTHS SNOWSTORMS WITH NO HEADLIGHTS. ALSO, WITH A SEASON CHANGE ALWAYS IMPENDING IT WILL BE DARKER SOONER AND LONGER. I BEGAN THE QUEST TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE FUSE BOX...IT WAS NOT. I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ACTUAL SWITCH...IT WAS NOT. FINALLY, I TOOK MY CAR TO TIDEWATER AUTO ELECTRIC AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS FOLLOWS....REMOVED BCM TO PIN CHECK. NO OUTPUT FROM BCM TO LOW BEAM RELAY MODULE. CHECKED RESISTANCE FROM BCM TO FUSE BOX ALL WIRING OK. NEEDS BCM REPLACED ALSO NEEDS LOW BEAM RELAY MODULE. IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME IN LAYMENS TERMS THAT THE COMPUTER WAS BAD AND HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THE SIGNAL FROM THE LIGHT SWITCH TO THE FUSE BOX WAS BAD AS WELL AND HAD TO BE REPAIRED. THIS REPAIR COST ME 694.07 FOR A VEHICLE THAT IS JUST OVER TWO YEARS OLD. THIS DEFECT SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING WORTH LOOKING INTO AS IT COULD PROVE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS IN CERTAIN CONDITIONS. *TR

THE STEERING RACK MOUNT ON THE CO-DRIVER SIDE BROKE. THIS HORSE SHOE TYPE RACK MOUNT IS WELDED TO THE STEERING RACK AND BOLTED TO THE FRAME. THEREFORE THE STEERING RACK IS LOOSE ON THE CO-DRIVER SIDE AND THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL IS LOOSE.
