PURCHASE TRUCK FROM A1 IMPORTS AND DEALER SAID THAT HE DONE SAFETY AND HE WILL PROVIDE NEW TAG WITH SPARE WHEEL. WHEN I RECEIVED TRUCK AND NEXT DAY WHEN I CHECKED SPARE WHEEL, IT IS WAY BIGGER SPARE WHEEL THEN REGULAR 4 WHEEL. I DROVE 300 MILE AND BRAKE PAD FROM FRONT PASSENGER TOTALLY GONE AND DAMAGE FRONT PASSENGER ROTOR TO. WHEN I DID COMPLAIN ABOUT IT TO DEALER, HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHINGS TO CHANGE AND I WENT THERE WITH NEW ROTOR AND BRAKE PAD SO HE JUST REPLACE IT. I PURCHASED THIS TRUCK ON DEC-2-2020 AND I GOT TEMP TAG UNTIL JAN-2-2021 AND HE TOLD ME THAT I WILL GET MY ONE YEAR TAG IN MAIL WITHIN TIME BUT TILL TODAY IS 6-JAN-2021 AND STILL I AM WAITING FOR MY TAG. I HAVE BEEN TALKING WITH DEALER SINCE JAN-2 FROM EVERY DAY AND HE IS MAKING EXCUSE THAT HE WILL GET TOMORROW BUT HIS TOMORROW WILL NEVER COME YET. AND I AM NOT ABLE TO USE MY TRUCK SINCE 4 DAYS. I HAVE ALL TEXT MSGS REGARDING THIS AND HE IS NOT RESPONDING AS DEALER RESPONSIBILITY. I THINK THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRACTICE AS A DEALER WHO IS SELLING CARS IN GREENVILLE AREA IN NC. AS HE GIVE ME TRUCK WITH TIRE CONDITION AND BRAKE CONDITION WHICH IS CONSIDER AS MAIN SAFETY ISSUE AND HE HAS AUTHORIZED SAFETY INSPECTION LICENSE FOR HIS SHOP. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR OTHER PEOPLE. MY TPMS INDICATOR DASH LIGHT CONTINUES TO ILLUMINATE AND THEN TURN THEMSELVES OFF AT THEIR OWN CHOOSING. I CONFIRMED MY TIRE PRESSURE READINGS ARE ACCURATE WITH A PRESSURE GAUGE AND MY TIRE PRESSURE IS BELOW THE TIRE OR VEHICLE DOOR FRAME RECOMMENDED TIRE AIR PRESSURE. THERE IS NO BEARING ON WHETHER OR NOT THE AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE OR BELOW A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE. MY TIRES ARE OEM STOCK TIRE SIZE RECOMMENDED FOR MY VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THE FAILURE, BUT THE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE, DOT NUMBER, AND VIN WERE NOT AVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH, A LOUD SOUND EMITTED FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE HAD BLOWN OUT. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT AFTER INSTALLING THE SPARE TIRE AND REVERSING OUT OF THE RESIDENTIAL GARAGE, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE FENDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,520 AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
GOOD YEAR WRANGLER SR-A TIRES ON MY RAM 1500. I HAD A BLOW OUT OF THE DRIVERS REAR TIRE WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. CALLED GOODYEAR AND THEY WANT ME TO HAVE THE TIRE INSPECTED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIRE THAT BLEW OUT IN THE PAST 5 MONTHS. THE LATEST TIME IT WAS THE DRIVERS FRONT TIRE THAT BLEW OUT AND CONTROL WAS LOST CAUSING ME TO STRIKE ANOTHER VEHICLE. I CALLED GOODYEAR WHO TOLD ME THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS MODEL TIRE BUT NOT IN MY SIZE. THEY REQUESTED I SEND THE TIRE BACK TO THEM FOR INSPECTION WHICH I DID BUT THEY CLAIMED THE TIRE WAS LOST AND GAVE ME A GOOD FAITH CHECK TO COVER MY INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE. WHEN I CALLED GOODYEAR AFTER YESTERDAY'S INCIDENT THEY TOLD ME THEY CAN CHECK THE REMAINING TIRES THAT ARE ON MY TRUCK BUT THEY MAY NOT REPLACE THEM TILL THEY BLOW OUT. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS WITH SAFETY BEING AN ISSUE AND THEY APOLOGIZED THAT I GET THAT WAY AND TOLD ME THEY WILL TRY AND DO THEIR BEST. I FEEL SINCE TWO OF THE FOUR TIRES BLEW OUT THEY SHOULD REPLACE ALL OF THEM AND ADMIT THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH THAT TIRE AND ADD IT TO THE RECALL.
I WAS DRIVING 35 MPH ON AN ASPHALT PAVED ROAD IN MY 2013 RAM 1500 CREW CAB, WITH 3,842 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, ON 11/JULY/2014. THE LEFT FRONT TIRE, GOODYEAR WRANGLER SR-A 275/60R20, EXPLODED VIOLENTLY CAUSES INSTANT DEFLATION. THE TIRE TREAD SPLIT COMPLETELY IN HALF FROM OUTSIDE TOP OF RIM TO INSIDE TOP OF RIM. DURING THE PROCESS OF ALL THIS, THE TIRE MANAGED TO MANGLE MY INNER FENDER WALL AND RIP MY LEFT FRONT FENDER FROM ITS ANCHOR BOLTS CAUSING $1,200 WORTH OF DAMAGE. SEARS AUTO DEPARTMENT REPLACED THE TIRE AT NO CHARGE DUE TO BEING COVERED BY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE GOODYEAR CLAIMS DEPARTMENT AND HAD THE TIRE MAILED TO THEIR INSPECTION DEPARTMENT. I RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL INFORMING ME THAT THE CLAIM WAS BEING DENIED DUE TO NO FAULT ON THE TIRE. GOODYEAR SAID THE TIRE WAS PUNCTURED AND HAD NORMAL DEFLATION. AFTER RECEIVING THE TIRE BACK FROM GOODYEAR, I TOOK IT TO 3 SEPARATE STORES IN MY TOWN TO GET A SECOND OPINION. WITH OVER 85 TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE COMBINED, THE FINAL VERDICT WAS A UNANIMOUS AGREEMENT...NONE OF THEM HAD EVER SEEN A 20" TRUCK TIRE COMPLETELY SPLIT FORM BEAD TO BEAD IN THEIR ENTIRE CAREER. I HAVE LETTERS TO VERIFY THIS INFORMATION. I AM NOW LOOKING INTO A SMALL CLAIMS COURT CASE AGAINST GOODYEAR IN ORDER TO GET PAYMENT FOR THE DAMAGE CAUSED TO MY VEHICLE. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH ON A GRAVEL ROAD, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE BECAME PUNCTURED BY ONE OF THE ROCKS CAUSING IT TO DEFLATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE TIRES NOT BEING RATED AS TRUCK TIRES, WHICH CAUSED THEM TO EASILY BECOME PUNCTURED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. NEITHER THE VIN NOR THE DOT NUMBER WAS AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 4,800.
WE HAD A TOTAL TIRE FAILURE ON OUR 2013 DODGE RAM TIRE. THEY ARE GOODYEAR P27560R20 SR-A THIS TIRE BLEW OUT AT 60 MPH ON A STATE HIWAY IN NEAR BURNS OR. THE ROAD WAS CLEAR OF ANY OBJECTS. THIS TIRE SPLIT FROM BEAD COIL TO BEAD COIL, IN A PERFECTLY STRAIGHT LINE. I HAVE CONTACTED GY AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS THE OLD FIRESTONE TWO STEP. NOT OUR PROBLEM. THERE WAS 5000 MILES (ABOUT) ON THE TIRE AT THE TIME AND MOST ON THIS TRIP. HAD 4 TIRE SHOP LOOK AT THE TIRE ON THIS TRIP TRYING TO GET A REPLACEMENT. ALL THE TIREMEN THAT SEEN THE TIRE SAID THEY HAD NEVER SENN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. I HAVE ALSO FOUND OTHER ON COMPLAINT SITES THAT TELL THE SAME STORY.
