2 CRACKS IN THE WINDOW FRAME ABOVE THE REAR SLIDING WINDOW HAVE APPEARED. THE TRUCK WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY. THERE WAS NO INCIDENT THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THESE AND THEY APPEAR TO HAVE FORMED ON THEIR OWN. I FEAR THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN LEAKS OR WILL BE LEAKS AS OTHER OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED.
ON 2-23-21 MY SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM LIGHT, SERVICE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT, SERVICE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT, ABS LIGHT CAME ON AND CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING ON MY 2019 RAM 1500. THE TRUCK IS UNDER WARRANTY AND THE DEALERSHIP IS MAKING ME DRIVE MY VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX IT.
CRACKED REAR WINDOW TRIM WHERE THE WINDOW OPENS, DAMP HEADLINER NEAR THE CRACKED TRIM AREA.
REAR WINDOW SEAL IS CRACKED IN TWO SEPARATE AREAS ROUGHLY 12 INCHES APART ALLOWING WATER TO GET IN. THE HEADLINER ABOVE REAR WINDOW HAS WATER DAMAGE.
MY BACK WINDOW TRIM IS CRACKED AND HAS STARTED LEAKING BELOW THE CRACKED AREA. 21K MILES AND IT JUST HAPPENED.
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY TWO DAYS AGO AND THE TRUCK SWITCHED TO THE PARK POSITION ON ITS OWN WHILE I WAS REVERSING AND IT WOULD NOT GET OUT OF THE PARK POSITION EVEN AFTER I PRESSED THE BRAKES AND I TRIED TO MOVE THE SHIFT KNOB, SO I WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET FOR FIVE MINUTES TRYING TO GET THE TRUCK TO MOVE TO THE REVERSE POSITION AGAIN. TODAY, I WAS DRIVING TO THE STORE AND THE TRUCK SWITCHED TO PARK POSITION ON ITS OWN AND CAME TO A STOP WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THE ENGINE WAS REVVING UP AND I PRESSED THE BRAKES TO SWITCH IT BACK TO PARK AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME SWITCH. AFTER A MINUTE I TURNED THE TRUCK OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON TO TRY AND PUT IT BACK IN THE DRIVE POSITION SO I COULD GET OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFORMATION, I'M AFRAID THAT THIS WILL OCCUR AGAIN AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
The radio wouldn’t come on and then the car rpm just go down while I am driving and the check light came on
TRANSMISSION AUTOMATICALLY DISENGAGING ON IT'S OWN WHILE DRIVING AT SPEED OF 30-40MPH. VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC FOR AT LEAST 25 MINUTES AT THE APPROX SPEED ON HIGHWAY. NO SNOW, TRANSMISSION WAS IN 2WD ENTIRE TIME. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES NOW WITH THE VEHICLE. NO ERRORS WERE DISPLAYED, VEHICLE WAS ALREADY TAKEN IN TO DODGE FOR REPAIR WITH NO FAULTS FOUND. I CONTACTED DODGE AND THEY DID NOT BELIEVE ME. I NOW HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF THE TRUCK AND WITNESS OF THE TRUCK DISENGAGING THE TRANSMISSION ON IT'S OWN. I DID NOT MANUALLY CHANGE ANYTHING. The instrument cluster goes black, unable to see anything or scroll through tire pressure, fluid temperatures, speed, odometer, fuel economy, etc. It works intermittently, very distracting to drive when the screen flashes or appears to be trying to reboot. Have been to dealer without successful fix by resetting to factory standards.
Transmission won't go into reverse at times, auto shifting back to park before check engine light comes on. Vehicle initially started with hard shifts at low speeds about 25 mph. Issue progressed to the point where vehicle has to be put into reverse. Otherwise vehicle would not shift at the same point about 25 mph and would be stuck in the low gear until vehicle is shut off and restarted then put into reverse before proceeding. The issue has continued to grow where shifting into reverse causes the vehicle to noticeably lurch back with a very heavy thunk before putting it into drive. Reverse takes time engaging. However the issue will persist and it will not go into reverse before Auto shifting to park and the check engine light comes on. Vehicle would drive for a little while before the transmission would stop shifting and go into limp mode where I wouldn't be able to drive over 30 miles per hour without very high RPMs. During some of those times the vehicle would take a long time before the transmission would engage and shift which would cause the vehicle to jerk abruptly forward. And at times back tires have lost traction. Recently the vehicles transmission has disengaged entirely while driving. At times it'll be 40 mph where it will disengage or in one case about 15 mph as I was making a turn and in the intersection it disengaged. First time the vehicle went to a dealership. They were unable to replicate the problem and that was approximately 30,000 mi on the odometer. The second time it went in with the issue it was diagnosed as being a service bulletin which was then updated and issue remained. The third time it was brought in there was a code that showed that the clutch gear ratio was incorrect. Mechanics have said the vehicle needs a new transmission and this has been a known issue with the 8-speed 8 HP75 by ZF transmissions. Transmission has also surged and lunged while braking at various points. While completely stopped, vehicle has lurched forward.
I WAS DRIVING IN THE CITY IN TRAFFIC. I WAS ACCELERATING AT ABOUT HALF THROTTLE OR LESS, WHEN THE GAS PEDDLE WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR (FULL THROTTLE). THE TRUCK ACCELERATED OUT OF CONTROL, I TRIED LIFTING THE GAS PEDDLE WITH MY TOE AND IT KEPT GOING STRAIGHT BACK TO THE FLOOR. I WAS BRAKING AND TRYING TO NOT CRASH. I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE INTO AN EMPTY LANE AND GET THE TRUCK TO COME TO A STOP. WHEN THE TRUCK WAS AT A STOP THE GAS PEDDLE REMAINED ALL THE WAY AT THE FLOOR. I LIFTED THE PEDAL SEVERAL TIMES WITH MY TOE AND IT WOULD FALL BACK TO FULL THROTTLE. I SHIFTED TO PARK AND THE PEDDLE RETURNED TO ITS NORMAL LEVEL. AFTER THIS HAPPENED THE TRUCK WILL NOT GO ANY HIGHER THAN 4TH GEAR NOW AND GOT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP.
BOTH SUN VISORS BRACKETS BREAK AND CAUSES THE SUNVISOR TO FALL IN FRONT OF THE DRIVERS FACE WHEN YOU HIT A BUMP BLOCKING YOUR VISION. BOTH SUN VISORS BRACKETS THAT SCREW INTO THE CEILING BREAK LOOSE INSIDE THE BRACKET AND CAUSES THE VISOR TO FALL DOWN VERTICALLY BLOCKING THE DRIVERS VISION. IN TAKING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, THEY HAD TO BACKORDER THE ITEM (30 DAYS BACKORDER) THIS MIGHT BE A CLUE THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM.
TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS FOR RADIO, CLIMATE, AND ALL OTHER CONTROLS DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. ANY AND ALL ELEMENTS OF TOUCHSCREEN WILL POWER ON AND OFF FROM AC TO HEAT TO RADIO STATIONS TO RANDOM PHONE DIALING. ALSO THE VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING AS IF THE GEAR SHIFTER HAS BEEN PLACED IN NEUTRAL. TRUCK WILL NOT ACCELERATE AND REMOTE START DOESN'T WORK EITHER. LEFT REAR PASSENGER WINDOW SEAL NEAR BED OF TRUCK ALSO LEAKS WATER WHEN IT RAINS.
POWER STEERING STARTS AND STOPS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY AND AT RANDOM. SOMETIMES IT WON'T WORK FOR MINUTES/HOURS AT A TIME. OTHER TIMES IT CUTS OUT AND THEN COMES RIGHT BACK ON REPEATEDLY. VEHICLE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL WHEN THIS HAPPENS, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CUTS IN AND OUT DURING A TURNING MANEUVER. EACH INSTANCE IS ACCOMPANIED BY A MESSAGE ON THE DASH SCREEN ADVISING TO SERVICE POWER STEERING. REMOVING, CLEANING, AND RETIGHTENING THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE FIXED THE PROBLEM TEMPORARILY. NO MAINTENANCE OR ALTERATIONS WERE PERFORMED TO THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE/CONTACT BEFORE THE PROBLEM STARTED.
WHILE DRIVING (IN MOTION IN THE CITY) CAR RANDOMLY PUT ITSELF IN NEUTRAL THE DRIVE LIGHT BLINK AND ERROR MESSAGE ON DASH BOARD STATING PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND BACK INTO DRIVE. WHILE STOPPED CAR AND FOOT ON BRAKE RANDOMLY THE ENGINE REVS AND LUNGES FORWARD.
I WAS STOPPED AT A RIGHT LIGHT, MADE A RIGHT TURN AND IMMEDAILTY LOST ALL STEERING IT WAS LOCKED IN A RIGHT TURN HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES AFTER THE TRUCK RAN UP OVER THE CURB ONTO THE SIDEWALK INCHES FROM DRIVING THROUGH A BRICK WALL. I SHUT THE TRUCK OFF STARTED IT AGAIN AND EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE. I WAS 3 HOURS FROM HOME SINCE EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE AFTER DRIVING ANOTHER 30 MILES OR SO I HEADED DOWN THE MOUNTIN TO GO HOME. HEADING DOWN HILL ON A VERY CURVY ROAD I LOST ALL POWER STEERING ON A CORNER AND IT TOOK EVERYTHING I HAD TO KEEP IT ON THE ROAD AND AVOID DRIVING OFF THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN. EXXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND SCARY. I WAS ABLE TO LIMP THE TRUCK HOME FROM THERE DRIVING AT SLOW SPEEDS TO BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. I AM DRIVING A 2019 RAM 1500 BIGHORN.
I AM WANTING TO FILE A CLAIM ON A 2019 RAM 1500 FOR A DEFECTIVE REAR WINDOW. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT FCA HAS REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR RESOLVE. THE REAR WINDOW FRAME IS WEAK AND CRACKS AROUND THE REAR SLIDING GLASS. WITH THESE CRACKS, THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR WATER TO LEAK INTO THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE. THERE ARE ALSO ISSUES WITH CRACKS AND LEAKING AROUND OTHER AREAS OF THE REAR WINDOW FRAME. THIS MAY BE DUE TO A FAULTY SEAL WHEN MANUFACTURED. MY FEAR IS THAT THIS WILL CAUSE MOLD TO DEVELOP BEHIND AS WELL AS ON MY REAR SEATS CAUSING POTENTIAL HARM TO NOT ONLY MY VEHICLE, BUT MYSELF AND FAMILY. I ALSO DO NOT WANT POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS THAT ARE LOCATED BEHIND AND UNDER THE REAR SEAT. MY TRUCK IS OUT OF WARRANTY, AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ISN'T MUCH FCA WILL DO, I JUST HOPE THAT PRESSURE IS PUT ON THEM TO IMPROVE AND DEVELOP A BETTER DESIGN TO PREVENT THIS ISSUE. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE FCA EXTEND AN OLIVE BRANCH SO TO SPEAK TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE THIS ISSUE BY EITHER REPLACING THE PART, OR COVERING A PORTION OF THE REPAIR COST FOR THOSE THAT ARE IN OR OUT OF WARRANTY.
POWER STEERING FAILURE AT 17000 MILES WHILE STATIONARY. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY COULD ONLY RECREATE IT ONCE AND WERE UNABLE TO FIX IT. AFTER 2 WEEKS, THEY HAD ME PICK IT UP. 3 DAYS LATER, IT HAPPENED AGAIN WHILE I WAS BACKING OUT OF THE GAS STATION.
TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT COME OUT OF LOWER GEAR WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREET. HAD TO PULL OFF STREET, PUT INTO PARK THEN BACK INTO DRIVE THEN IT SEEMED TO FUNCTION NORMALLY AGAIN.
CRACK IN REAR WINDOW FRAME
FOUND A CRACK IN MY REAR WINDOW ASSEMBLY AND WATER STAINS IN MY INTERIOR HEADLINER.
DRIVER SIDE WIPER MOTOR NOT IN GAUGING PROPERLY, NOT WORKING AT TIMES OR ONLY WIPING THE WINDSHIELD HALF WAY. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS IN BOTH STATIONARY AND IN MOTION.
LOCATION: STATE HWY 55, BUFFALO, MN, INTERSECTION WITH CENTRAL AVENUE DESCRIPTION OF THE ISSUE: WHILE STOPPING AT THE RED LIGHT AND APPLYING THE BRAKE, THE TRUCK EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN ACCELERATION BURST. EVEN THOUGH THE BRAKE WAS FULLY APPLIED, THE ENGINE WAS ACCELERATING ON ITS OWN AND PUSHING THE TRUCK. AT LOW SPEED (<5MPH) AND WITH THE BRAKE FULLY APPLIED, THE TRUCK HIT A STOPPED MINIVAN IN FRONT OF ME AND CONTINUE PUSHING IT TOWARDS THE INTERSECTION IN BURSTS AS I WAS DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. AFTER A FEW (THREE OR SO) BRAKE PUSH AND RELEASE ATTEMPTS, ACCELERATION STOPPED AND THE TRUCK (AND THE MINIVAN) CAME TO A FULL STOP. THE TRUCK PUSHED THE MINIVAN FOR SEVERAL FEET. THERE IS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO A TRUCK SINCE THE MINIVAN HAD A BICYCLE RACK INSTALLED. EXCEPT FOR THE DAMAGED BICYCLE RACK, THERE IS NO OBSERVABLE DAMAGE ON THE MINIVAN. AFTER THE TRUCK CAME TO A FULL STOP, THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WAS ON AND BLINKING FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, THEN IT ON. THE FRONT PARK ASSIST LIGHT WAS ALSO ON. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK TO CLOSES THE SAFE PARKING LOCATION. I COULD NOT RECREATE BRAKING RELATED ACCELERATION. POTENTIAL CAUSE: A WEB SEARCH SHOWED SEVERAL REPORTS OF SUDDEN ACCELERATION BURSTS WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE WERE REPORTED ON DODGE / RAM VEHICLES, INCLUDING RAM 1500. THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEMS WAS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THIS CASE. SAFETY CONCERN: IF I DID NOT DEPRESS THE BRAKE SEVERAL TIMES WHICH IN MY OPINION STOPPED ACCELERATION, THE TRUCK MAY HAVE PUSHED THE MINIVAN INTO A BUSY INTERSECTION AND CAUSE A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
REAR WINDOW FRAME IS CRACKED AND LEAKING WATER INTO THE CAB AS WELL AS WHERE THE REAR AIRBAG WIRING. THIS WAS NOTICED IN A STATIONARY POSITION.
FRONT BUMPER ON DRIVER'S SIDE IS SITTING LOWER THAN PASSENGER SIDE.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the tailgate would open independently while driving at various speeds. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 36,500.
Since 9,000 my steering gets stuck my truck now has 60k miles and the steering feels loose and still gets stuck in certain conditions.
WATER (RAIN,CAR WASH, ETC) IS LEAKING THROUGH THE REAR POWER SLIDING WINDOW AND INTO THE VEHICLE AND DAMAGING THE INTERIOR (HEADLINER, SEATS). THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY RAM/FCA AND THEY HAVE NOT RECALLED THEM YET. THIS CAN BE A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN DRIVING. I'M ALSO CONCERNED THAT IF WATER SITS INSIDE OF THE LINER CAN IT CAUSE MOLD TO FORM? ALSO CAN IT SHORT OUT ANY ELECTRICAL TO THE WINDOW? WHEN I NOTICED IT HAPPEN TO ME THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED.
I HAD NOTICED THAT THE REAR WINDOW ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WOULD LEAK A SMALL DRIBBLE OF WATER AFTER A CAR WASH OR A HEAVY RAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVING AT THE TIME OF DISCOVERY. I TOOK MY TRUCK INTO MEADOR CDJR IN FORT WORTH TX AND THEY REMOVED AND REPLACED THE REAR SEAT AND REAR WINDOW. THEY INSTALLED A NEW WINDOW SEAL AND REPLACED THE REAR SEAT. THEY COVERED THIS AS A WARRANTY ITEM WITH NO CHARGE TO ME.
AS WITH AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF OTHER RAM TRUCKS, MY REAR SLIDING WINDOW FRAME HAS CRACKED. THIS CAUSES WATER TO LEAK IN THROUGH THE CRACK WHEN IT RAINS. THE WATER LEAKING IN CAN DAMAGE THE HEADLINER AND COULD CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE REAR OF THE TRUCK. AN UPDATED WINDOW WITH A METAL FRAME WOULD BE MUCH BETTER THAN THE OEM ONE AND PROBABLY FIX THE ISSUE EVERYONE IS HAVING.
MY REAR WINDOW UPPER TRIM CRACKED AND STARTED LEAKING ON MY 2019 RAM 1500(NEW BODY STYLE). I TOOK TO MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND AFTER IT SAT OUT IN THE WEATHER FOR 3 WEEKS AND HAD EXTENSIVE WATER INTRUSION TO THE POINT OF SO MUCH MOISTURE IN VEHICLE THE WINDOWS WOULD CONDENSATE ON INSIDE,I DECIDED TO TAKE TO THE DEALER I PURCHASED AT. ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED 1 MONTH LATER. NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE OR LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS. NOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH WATER DAMAGE DO I HAVE AT THIS POINT??
Upon braking and downshifting, transmission occasionally erroneously falls out of gear without user input. The "D" indicator around the shift knob and in the instrument panel display will blink. The instrument panel will also display the message "Shift to P then Desired Gear". A drop in engine RPM can be observed before the erroneous shift. The engine remains running and the transmission remains in a neutral state at this time. This can be dangerous when it occurs upon braking for a railroad crossing or yield and merge situation in which I cannot accelerate into traffic or away from an oncoming train. The transmission can be re-engaged only after shifting to P then back to D.
I WAS IN THE LEFT TURN LANE WAITING TO TURN WHEN I WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER CAR AT ABOUT 40 MPH. HIS AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED BUT MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I WAS HIT AND HAD DAMAGE IN THE FRONT CENTER TO THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT CLIP, EVEN MY DOOR WAS A LITTLE HARD TO OPEN.
COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSIST WHILE DRIVING ON LOCAL STREET / IN LIGHT TRAFFIC. POWER STEERING UNAVAILABLE / SERVICE REQUIRED WARNING APPEARED ON DASH. WAS ABLE TO CONTROL TRUCK AND GET TO NEAREST DEALERSHIP.
BACK UP CAMERA HAS GONE OUT. REPEATEDLY WHILE IN REVERSE; ALSO AUXILIARY AND CHARGER STOP WORKING
THE TRUCK HAS BEEN INTERMITTENTLY EXPERIENCING LOSS OF POWER STEERING. THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN HAPPENING AFTER I STOP THE TRUCK. HAS HAPPENED 2 TIMES NOW. MAKES IT EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND OR MANEUVER TO GET TO A SAFETY SPOT. ALSO WHEN THIS HAPPENS, IT LOSES LANE, DEPARTURE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, ASSISTED BRAKING & MOST ELECTRONIC SAFETY FEATURES.
Exhaust manifold bolts broken causing exhaust leak and engine tick.
MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS NOT WORKING. THE TRUCK IS A 2019 DODGE RAM. IT GOES IN AND OUT. CAN'T SEE THE MILEAGE OR ANYTHING ELSE.
FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 3 MONTHS, WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY ALL MY DASH LIGHTS JUST CAME ON AND MY TRUCK STARTED TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN EVEN WITH BOTH FEET OFF BOTH PEDALS. TRACTION LIGHT, ABS LIGHT, PARKING LIGHT, THROTTLE SENSOR LIGHT, AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALL STAY ON. (HAVE PICTURE AND VIDEO) PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT ALSO STOPPED WORKING. TOOK TO RAM DEALERSHIP OCTOBER I BELIEVE AND THEY SAID PCM NEEDED AN UPDATE AND THEY DID THAT. ALSO REPLACED WHOLE PASSENGER HEADLIGHT HOUSING. WELL YESTERDAY DECEMBER 15TH SAME THING HAPPENED AND I ALMOST GOT INTO A WRECK. LIGHTS CAME ON SO I WENT TO BRAKE AND PULL OVER, NOTHING HAPPENED. TRUCK ACTUALLY ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN FROM 40MPH TO 60MPH. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP FIRST THING THIS MORNING AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF FIXING ANY OF THESE ISSUES... WANTED ME TO LEAVE MY TRUCK FOR AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF TIME AND BUT THEY COULDN'T GET ME A LOANER OR ANYTHING TO GET ME TO WORK. REAR WINDOW IS LEAKING WATER AT 31,000 MILES IT HAPPENS WHEN I WASH THE TRUCK OR WHEN IT RAINS
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The vehicle's tailgate failed to open and close correctly. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer who did not find the cause of the failure. The dealer advised that they close the tailgate more aggressively. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 37,255.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, HE HAD MISSED A LEFT TURN AND DROVE 300 FT OFF OF A CLIFF AND NOSE DIVED INTO AN EMBANKMENT. THE CONTACT HIT HIS FACE ON THE STEERING WHEEL AND WAS KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. AN AMBULANCE WAS CALLED AND THE CONTACT WAS RUSHED TO EMERGENCY ROOM WHERE HE HAD AN EMERGENCY SURGERY FOR A BROKEN BACK. POLICE DID ARRIVE ON THE SCENE; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE IF A REPORT WAS FILED. DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TRI LAKES FORD(180 STATE HWY F &, 65, BRANSON, MO 65616) WHERE IT WAS SERVICED AND REPAIRED WITHOUT THE CONTACT'S KNOWLEDGE. THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE CONTACT ONCE HE LEFT THE HOSPITAL. THE MANUFACTURER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 27,500.
TRAVELING AROUND 35-40 MPH I WAS APPROACHING A STOPPED LIGHT. I EASED OFF THE GAS AND WHEN THE GAS PEDAL NO LONGER "ENGAGED" THE TRANSMISSION THE COMPUTER/SOFTWARE DISENGAGED THE TRANSMISSION WITHOUT MY DOING. NO ERROR WAS DISPLAYED AND THE KNOB STILL SHOWED AS IN THE DRIVE POSITION. AS I PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL THE RPMS ROSE BUT BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN NEUTRAL IT ONLY REVVED THE ENGINE. I HAD TO PULL OVER, MANUALLY PLACE THE KNOB INTO PARK, THEN WAIT A FEW SECONDS THEN BACK INTO DRIVE. THE TRUCK RESUMED NORMALLY AFTER THAT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE TRANSMISSION DISENGAGED ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL OR INTO A LOWER GEAR. I DID NOT TRY TO FORCE THE TRUCK INTO NEUTRAL WHILE IT WAS MOVING. THE TRUCK WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE WAS THE POSITION OF THE GAS PEDAL I HAD JUST EASED OFF OF IT SLIGHTLY INTENDING THE TRUCK TO SLOW DOWN. LAST YEAR I HAD THE TRUCK SERVICED FOR THE RECALLS. TODAY 12/8/2020 WITH 7900 MILES ON THE TRUCK I PLACED THE TRUCK INTO SERVICE FOR THEM TO ASCERTAIN THE PROBLEM.
FOR THE PAST MONTH MY TRUCK IS UNABLE TO GET MORE THAN 1/2 A GALLON OF GAS WHEN REFUELING. I BROUGHT IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY LOOKED THE TRUCK OVER AND ADVISED THEY COULDN'T FIND AN ISSUE. TOLD ME TO BRING THE TRUCK TO A GAS STATION WITH A LONGER NOZZLE. I WAS ALSO ADVISED THEY WOULD REACH OUT TO RAM FOR ANOTHER SOLUTION. NO FOLLOW UP STILL HAVING ISSUES AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, FUEL ALSO SPILLS OUT OF THE TANK WHEN THE NOZZLE STOPS WORKING.

WHILE DRIVING MY STEERING LOCKED UP AND I HAD A NOTIFICATION ON MY DASH CLUSTER THAT SAID POWER STEERING WAS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE AND REQUIRED SERVICE. IT TOOK ME ABOUT AN HOUR TO GET THE TRUCK TO WHERE I COULD MOVE IT. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING FAST, THIS COULD HAVE REALLY HURT OR KILLED SOMEONE.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILS TO COME ON RANDOMLY. BEGIN DRIVING WITH THE CLUSTER NOT WORKING, SOMETIMES IT WILL FINALLY COME ON WITH NO NOTICE OR TURN OFF WITHOUT WARNING
WHEN TURNING TO THE RIGHT THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL MAKES A GRINDING NOISE SIMILAR TO ABS ACTIVATION CAUSING TURN RESISTANCE AND "UNDERSTEER" NEARLY RESULTING IN SEVERAL COLLISIONS. WHEN REPAIR WAS ATTEMPTED RAM REPORTED THEY WERE AWARE OF THE ISSUE, BUT HAVE NO REPAIR. THIS RESULTS IN AN UNSAFE VEHICLE TO DRIVE AS THE UNDERSTEER COULD READILY RESULT IN A COLLISION.
Water leaking through the rear window. Headliner gets wet when it rains and when the truck gets washed leaving a smell after it dries. Dealer was notified about a year ago.
