Despite significant damage to the front of the vehicle, none of the airbags activated. Yes, the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The driver (my husband) hit his head on the steering wheel due to the airbags not deploying, which put his safety at serious risk. The lack of airbag deployment increased the chances of injury during the impact. The problem has not yet bee confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. We are in the process of having the vehicle inspected. The vehicle was seen by police and today insurance representatives will inspect it. However, the manufacturer has not yet inspected the airbag system No warning lights or messages were present before the accident. There were no signs that the airbag system was malfunctioning.
Airbag service light coming on and off. I saw there was a recall on this but they are saying my truck is not on the recall.
I keep getting a message to service airbags. Sometimes it resets its self but always returns. Only 13000 miles on vehicle
