The contact owns a 2006 SAAB 9-3. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and shut off, the contact attempted to start the vehicle, and the vehicle failed to start. The contact also noticed a fuel odor coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
Warning message that airbag is not working. Loud hissing sound immediately in front of dashboard, as if air is escaping. We cannot drive the car for fear of the airbag inflating. We are going to have to towed to a repair shop to be fixed and will keep all paperwork.
ECU ISSUES, LOSS POWER WHEN DRIVING.
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A DEALERSHIP TO FIX MY RECALL BUT GENERAL MOTORS STATED THEY DO NOT FIX IT. I AM RECEIVING CALLS AND LETTERS EVERY OTHER WEEK. WHO WILL FIX THIS ISSUE ??? I AM LOCATED IN THE WILKES BARRE PA 18705 AREA. PLEASE ADVISE THANK YOU
WHEN I USED MY CRUISE CONTROL SOMETIMES IT ENGAGES AND DOES NOT ENGAGE. IT DID THIS FOR OVER A MONTH. WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THE CAR, I DID MY RESEARCH ON IT AND IT SAID THAT IT HAS A STEERING FLUID LOSS PROBLEM, BECAUSE THE QUALITY IS POOR. I AM CURIOUS TO WHY THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL ON IT YET.
TAKATA RECALL. THE STEERING PUMP IS LEAKING AND I TOOK MY CAR TO GM AND THEY REFUSED TO WORK ON MY 2006 SAAB 9-3. THE STEERING LEAKING IS SAFETY ISSUE, AND IF I LOSE CONTROL OF MY STEERING..I CAN END UP HURTING MYSELF. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION AND MAKE GM FIX MY STEERING PUMP!

HELLO, I HAVE BEEN RENTING THIS CAR OUT FOR AWHILE....I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO RENT IT OUT BECAUSE OF THE RECALL, HOWEVER, I REPAIRED THIS ISSUE MONTHS AGO AND THE DEALER THAT REPAIRED THE PROBLEM HAS SUBMITTED PROOF TO YOU TWICE BUT STILL NO ONE HAS UPDATED THIS TO YOUR WEBSITE AND THIS IS SEVERELY EFFECTING MY CAR RENTAL BUSINESS. PLEASE ADVISE?

THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL NOTIFICATIONS FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V318000 (SEAT BELTS) AND 16V063000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIRS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE DEALER (ROYAL CADILLAC OF TUCSON, 520-777-1708) WAS CALLED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE WITH THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT SEIZING WHEN BEING APPLIED. SHE STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT HAD TO BE MANEUVERED BACK AND FORTH TO GET IT SECURED COMFORTABLY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA INFLATOR -- TOOK CAR IN TO DEALER TO HAVE THE AIRBAG REPLACED BUT DEALER SAID THAT THIS CAR HAS A DIFFERENT MODEL AIRBAG THAT WAS ONLY USED ON A FEW CARS FOR A MONTH A SO BY SAAB, SO IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED. HOWEVER, WE KEEP GETTING RECALL NOTICES ALL THE TIME AND I'M AFRAID THIS WILL AFFECT RESALE OF CAR. CAN THIS BE CONFIRMED?

THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTIFICATION IN MARCH OF 2018. THE DEALER (JIM FALK MOTORS, 1201 N 2ND ST, CLINTON, MO 64735) STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR AT THEIR LOCATION, BUT REFERRED THE CONTACT TO AN UNKNOWN SAAB DEALER OVER 100 MILES AWAY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL, I TOOK MY 06 SAAB 93 AERO INTO BELLEVUE WASHINGTON CADILLAC DEALERSHIP TO GET MY AIR BAG RECALL FIXED, AFTER I HOT THE RECALLED AIRBAG REPLACED THEY RESET MY ECM AND NOW MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON INTERMITTENTLY AND DRAINS MY BATTERY DEAD OVER NIGHT! I HAVE CALLED BELLEVUE CADILLAC AND THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE DAMAGE THEY DID TO MY CAR BY REPLACING THE RECALLED AIRBAG WITH ANOTHER BAD AIRBAG! THEY LISTED IN THEIR COMPUTERS THAT THEY FIXED MY CAR AND NEVER DID SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH ANOTHER BAD FAULTY AIRBAG AND NOW A BATTERY DRAIN ISSUE FROM IT. MY CAR HAS BEEN LITERALLY UNDRIVEABLE SINCE THE DAY THEY REPLACED THE RECALLED AIRBAG. THE CAR ALSO HAS A FAILED GAS GAUGE DUE TO ELECTRICAL ISSUES FROM THE FACTORY WHICH WAS NEVER RECALLED, THE FUEL SENDING UNITS ARE BAD AND NEVER WORKED PROPERLY SINCE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED WHICH ALOT IF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME SAABS HAVE EXPERIENCED ALL OVER THE WORLD!

TAKATA RECALL - I CONTACTED ALBERIC COLON AUTO SALES AT 787 793 2222 IN PUERTO RICO AS MENTIONED IN THE LETTER SENT TO ME AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY CAN NOT PERFORMED THE RECALL IN MY CAR BECAUSE THEY WONT GET PAID SINCE THEY DONT WORKED IN SAAB
TAKATA RECALL CONTACTED THREE CADILLAC DEALERS BEFORE FINDING ONE THAT WOULD HANDLE THE RECALL. CONTACTED BUSH AUTO PLACE IN WILMINGTON, OH AND WAS TOLD WE DO NOT WORK ON SAABS AND THEY WOULD NOT DO THE RECALL. VERY RUDE AND SHORT. ALSO CONTACTED GUSWEILLER CADILLAC IN WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, OH AND TOLD THE SAME, BUT THEY WERE VERY CORDIAL ABOUT IT. FINALLY, I CONTACTED CAMARGO CADILLAC IN CINCINNATI, OH AND THEY WERE OVER THE TOP NICE AND ON TOP OF THINGS. THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ASSIST WITH THE RECALL AND IT HAS NOW BEEN COMPLETED.
TAKATA RECALL, AFTER GETTING A NOTICE I LOOKED ONLINE CALLED EVERY SINGLE DEALER IN MY AREA THEY ALL SAID THEY DON'T WORK ON SAABI HOPE EVERYTHING IS GM FINALLY I FOUND ONE MOST OF THEM SAID SUB WENT BANKRUPT SO IN A FEW YEARS THE CAR SHOULD BE FIXED FADED OUT AND YOU SHOULD GET RID OF IT THEY SAID NO ONE WILL FIX IT BECAUSE THERE'S NO OLDER THIS IS THE OF THE DEALERSHIPS WITHIN 100 MILE RADIUS DEALERSHIP GMC'S SOMEHOW I GOT CONNECTED TO A REPAIR SHOP THAT SPECIALIZES IN SOB AND THEY SAID THEY SAID THEY COULD DO IT THERE ABOUT ONE MONTH OUT AND I WOULD HAVE TO COME TO THEM WHICH WAS 400 MILES AWAY I TOLD HIM IT WAS A HARDSHIP ALSO AND IF THEY COULD ARRANGE TO PICK IT UP OR WE COULD ARRANGE ANOTHER SHOP TO FIX IT FOR THE DEALER THEY SAID NOPE WITH ONLY ONES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA APPOINTMENT LATER I GOT A NOTICE FROM GMC IT WAS AND AMBIGUOUS IT STATED YOUR SEATBELT AND AIRBAG MIGHT NOT BE RECALL HOWEVER YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS WEBSITE WHICH WAS IN SMALL PRINT I TOOK IT AS A DISCOURAGING MEMO WHEN I CHECKED IT OUT THEY SAID IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY DEALERS IN YOURN YOUR AREA NO I CANNOT DRIVE IT BECAUSE OF SAFETY CONCERNS NOR CAN I SELL IT BECAUSE OF AFRICAN MORE OF THE CONCERNS I HAD SHOWING A LAWN SERVICE RECALLED I BELIEVE GMC IS REQUIRED AND RESPONSIBLE IN THIS CASE TO BUY BACK YOUR VEHICLE FOR ME OR OFFER ME A REPLACEMENT IN THIS CASE THEY ARE AVOIDING THERE'S POSSIBILITY AND NO MATTER IF THE COMPANY WOULD BANKRUPT THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ASSUMED I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH THIS ISSUE AND I HAVE KIDS AND IT IS UNSAFE I NEED TO HELP THEY NEED TO BE IN BURST ME FOR THE WHOLE COST OF THE VEHICLE FOR
I HAVE TRIED TO HAVE THE GM AIRBAG RECALL FOR MY 2006 SAAB 9-3 SERVICED BY ALL PASO ROBLES AND SAN LUIS OBISPO CHEVROLET, GM, AND CADILLAC DEALERS. ALL HAVE REFUSED TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE THE CLAIM NOT TO HAVE A SAAB CERTIFIED MECHANIC. THE CLOSEST DEALER WITH SAAB CERTIFIED MECHANIC IS BUNNIN CADILLAC IN SANTA BARBARA, A 240 MILE ROUND TRIM FROM OUR HOUSE. DESPITE THREE PHONE CALLS TO BUNNIN WE HAVE STILL BEEN UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE REPAIR OR EVEN CONFIRM THAT THEY ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO DO THE WORK. THE CHALLENGE AND BURDEN OF GETTING THIS RECALL WORK PERFORMED HAS PROVEN IMPOSSIBLE SO FAR. WHEN WILL GM TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND MADE THE RECALL FIX TO MY SAAB REASONABLY AVAILABLE?
VEHICLE STALLS FOR NO REASON. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND DURING ROUTINE TRIPS THROUGH STREETS WITH STOP LIGHTS AND STOP SIGNS. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY. HAS BEEN INSPECTED MY NUMEROUS MECHANICS AND CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM.
TAKATA RECALL MY CAR HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH THE MOTOR TRANSMISSION AND TAIL LIGHTS MY TAIL LIGHT AINT WORKING ALL THE TIME THE PASSENGER SIDE TAIL LIGHT LOOK LIKE THE WIRE CAUGHT ON FIRE BY THE PLUG AND THE TRANSMISSION JURK SOMETIMES AND THE ODBO2 SAYING THERE'S NO TRANSMISSION FLUID AND ITS FULL THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR LIKE COME ON AND WONT GO OFF AFTER I REPLACE IT THEN THE THROTTLE BODY CODE CAME UP AND I REPLACE IT THEN NOW IT START OFF SLOW AND WHEN I CHECK ODBO2 IT SAYING THE THROTTLE BODY AND I KNOW IT'S NOT SO THATS TELL ME IT'S THE WIRING HARNESS

HAVING DIFFICULTY GETTING GM RECALL #15027, NHTSA #14V318 FIXED. SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ON AUGUST 15, 2017 WITH AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER, CADILLAC OF NORWOOD AND THEY NEVER ORDERED THE PART BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY HAD TO SEE THE CAR FIRST WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD ME. SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN PART WAS IN, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. CALLED AFTER AND PETE FITZPATRICK WAS DISMISSIVE OF MY COMPLAINT.
TAKATA RECALL. I WAS NOTIFIED BY LETTER IN MARCH OF 2016 THAT MY SAAB WAS PART OF THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL AND THAT I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN AND WHERE TO TAKE MY CAR FOR AIR BAG REPLACEMENT. I WAS ALSO NOTIFIED IN THAT LETTER THAT PARTS WERE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AND I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN THEY WERE AVAILABLE AND WHAT SERVICE CENTER I WOULD NEED TO TAKE THE CART TO FOR REPAIRS. SOMETIME IN APRIL 2017, I WAS NOTIFIED THAT DORITO BROS SAAB, IN WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA WOULD BE DOING THE AIR BAG REPLACEMENT AND I WOULD LIKELY BE CONTACTED WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH ABOUT SCHEDULING THE REPAIRS. I DID NOT HEAR BACK AND I TRIED TO CONTACT DORITO BROS. SAAB AND IT APPEARS THEY ARE NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. I TRIED CALLING THE "TOLL-FREE VEHICLE SAFETY HOTLINE, (1.888.327.4236 OR 1.800.424.9153) AND HAVE GOT NOTHING BUT A BUSY SIGNAL. WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT GETTING THE AIRBAG REPLACED IN MY 2006 SAAB 93? THE CAR IS OUR MAIN SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION.
FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM - MY FUEL SENSOR GRADUALLY STOPPED WORKING AND NOW MY FUEL GAUGE IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. RECENTLY MY CAR IS HESITATING WHEN I ACCELERATE IN ALL 5 GEARS AND I WAS TOLD IT MAY BE THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL LINE. LAST WEEK I TOOK IT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND WAS GIVEN A NOTIFICATION OF A RECALL FOR THE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM. WHEN RESEARCHING THE RECALL BY THE VIN# IT IS NOT LISTED BUT IF I SEARCH BY MAKE AND MODEL IT IS LISTED. NOT SURE WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT.
I CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN ELK GROVE, GMC AND ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THEY STATE THEY DO NOT SERVICE SAAB VEHICLES. I TOLD THEM THAT GMC IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT AND THEY STATED THERE IS ONLY ONE LOCATION THAT WE COULD TAKE IT TO IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA BY FRESNO IF I WANT TO GET IT FIXED. WHICH IT WILL BE AN UNDUE HARDSHIP. I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT OUR CAR WAS SPILLING GAS DUE TO AN ORIGINAL FAULTY UNIT. THEY STATED THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THAT HOWEVER, IT SOMEHOW DOESN'T SHOW ON MY VIN. SEVERAL TIMES WE RAN OUT OF GAS AND OUR KIDS GOT GASOLINE ON THEIR CLOTHES. WE CALLED 4 DEALERSHIPS AND ALL OF THEM STATE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. WHEN I OPEN THE HOOD I SEE GMC BRAND ALL OVER THE CAR. I BELIEVE GMC IS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND NOT ACCOMMODATING ME. I TOLD THEM I CANNOT DRIVE 300 MILES, I HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE TAKE IT BECAUSE I HAD A STROKE. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE GMC BUT THEY ARE NOT. IF THEY ARE USING THAT AS AN EXCUSE THEN THIS RECALL COMMITTEE SHOULD INVESTIGATE INTO THIS AND SANCTION THEM. AT THIS POINT, BECAUSE OF SAFETY RECALL IS NOT AVAILABLE TO GET IT DONE, I CANNOT SAFELY DRIVE WITH MY KIDS. 2 OF MY KIDS ARE SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS. AT THIS POINT, I WOULD LIKE GMC TO REIMBURSE ME THE FULL CURRENT VALUE OF THE VEHICLE FOR THEIR FAILURE TO DO THE NEEDED RECALL REPAIRS. IF GMC MADE A FAULTY BUSINESS CHOICE WHEN THEY TOOK OVER THE SAAB'S THE CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT SUFFER. GMC CONSTANTLY MAKES ME FEEL THAT EVEN THOUGH70% OF THE VEHICLE IS GMC I DON'T HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS GMC CUSTOMERS. CURRENTLY, THE BLUE BOOK VALUE IS $6500. I'M STOPPING PAYING REGISTRATION IN HOPES TO GET THIS VEHICLE EITHER TRADED IN FOR ANOTHER ONE BY GMC OR REFUNDED. SINCE A RECALL IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AN UNDUE HARDSHIP UPON, GMC IS DEVISING AND SCHEMING AND CHANGING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO DISCOURAGE CUSTOMERS TO GETTING SERVICE RECALLS TO SAABS.
BOTH FRONT SUSPENSION COIL SPRINGS SNAPPED AND SAAB TOLD ME THAT GM WOULD NOT REPAY ME FOR THE REPAIRS THROUGH SPECIAL COVERAGE #15917.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SAAB 9-3 EQUIPPED WITH REPLACEMENT MICHELIN TIRES, TIRE LINE: PRIMACY MXM4, TIRE SIZE: 215/55R16, AND DOT NUMBER: B9VM87DX2716. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER SON WAS DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS SHAKING AND HE COULD NOT CONTROL THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, HE PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE HE NOTICED THAT REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE WAS FLAT. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS CALLED AND ABLE TO CHANGE THE TIRE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ISSUED OCCURRED ON A FRONT TIRE SEVERAL MONTHS PRIOR BUT WAS UNAWARE IF IT WAS ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE SEARS STORE WHERE TIRES WHERE PURCHASED AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AS THE STEM VALVE. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT SEVERAL MONTHS LATER THE ISSUE RECURRED BUT WAS UNAWARE IF THE TIRE WAS ON DRIVER'S OR PASSENGER FRONT, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT TIRE SHOP WHERE THE DIAGNOSES WAS THE STEM VALVE WAS CRACKED AND IT WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,000 AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

TAKATA RECALL THIS RECALL HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A LETTER TO FIX MY AIRBAG. SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL MY FAMILY AND/OR I AM IN AN ACCIDENT AND DIE BEFORE WE GET THIS FIXED?
TAKATA RECALL IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE THE RECALL WAS ANNOUNCED WITHOUT A RESOLUTION. THIS IS TOO LONG FOR A POTENTIALLY FATAL DEFECT TO CONTINUE TO BE LEFT UNRESOLVED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11E009000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT THE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP HAD NOT RETURNED THE CONTACT'S CORRESPONDENCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000.

WE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM SAAB APPROXIMATELY 1 YEAR AGO AND THE DEALERSHIP (A REGISTERED SAAB SERVICE CENTER) SAYS THAT IT IS NOT AN ACTIVE RECALL, EVEN THOUGH WHEN WE TYPE IN THE VIN NUMBER ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE, IT COMES BACK AS HAVING THIS PARTICULAR RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS. WE HAVE BEEN CALLING THE DEALERSHIP EVERY MONTH AND THEY REFUSE TO WORK WITH US AND INSIST THAT THIS RECALL IS NOT REAL. *TR

THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS. BUT THEY'RE STILL HASN'T BEEN A FIX. I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE DRIVING MY CAR WHEN THE AIRBAGS ARE DEFECTIVE, BECAUSE I WAS IN A TERRIBLE CAR ACCIDENT LAST NOVEMBER (IN A DIFFERENT VEHICLE) AND I DON'T FEEL SAFE BECAUSE OF THAT
TAKATA RECALL I'M COMPLAINING THAT I HAVE AN OLDER CAR, 2006, AND HAVEN'T HEARD FROM GM REGARDING REPLACEMENT OF THE AIRBAG. I WANT TO SELL THE CAR BUT DO NOT WANT TO PASS THE DANGER ON TO ANOTHER PERSON. MAKE GM MOVE QUICKLY TO REPLACE MY AIR BAG. I AM CONCERNED THE AIRBAG WILL BLOW UP EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE CAR.
IT IS KNOWN THAT THE INFLATOR MAY EXPLODE IN THE DRIVERS AIRBAG, BUT WHAT OF THE OTHER (7?) AIRBAGS? AREN'T THEY INFLATED WITH THE SAME CANISTER FROM TAKATA? ISN'T THERE THE SAME POTENTIAL FOR INJURY OR DEATH? WHAT RESULT IS THERE OF THE TESTING OF THOSE AIRBAGS?
TAKATA RECALL. GM ISSUED A TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL ON FEB 03, 2016. TO THIS DATE, A REMEDY FOR THE RECALL HAS NOT BEEN MADE AVAILABLE BY GM. I LIVE IN A HOT CLIMATE AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY VEHICLE FIXED TO ENSURE MY SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF MY PASSENGERS.
