WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE "POWERING DOWN ENGINE" MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE ONTO THE ROAD SHOULDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BAIERL CHEVROLET (10430 PERRY HIGHWAY, WEXFORD, PA 15090, (724) 940-2121) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE TIMING CHAIN FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
2007 SATURN SKY. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. *SMD THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER THE ENGINE THERMOSTAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE AIR CONDITION WORKED FOR AWHILE, BUT THEN STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. THE CONSUMER RETURNED TO THE DEALER, AND THEY STATED THE BLOWER MOTOR, RESISTOR AND CONNECTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SOON AFTER THE REPAIR, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, AND THE DEALER STATED THE PROBLEM WAS THE THERMOSTAT, WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED. THE CONSUMER WENT TO ANOTHER DEALER, BECAUSE THE AIR CONDITION WAS STILL NOT WORKING. THE OTHER DEALER STATED THE PROBLEM WAS INDEED THE THERMOSTAT. *JB
