THIS IS NOT THE RESULT OF A CRASH. NO AIRBAGS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED. THE ONLY MARK ON THE BODYWORK IS AROUND THE WHEEL WELL CAUSED BY THE WHEEL WHOMPING AROUND. THIS IS UTTERLY INSANE. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RECALL THESE DEADLY CARS? KEEF OUTRAGED CITIZEN FORCED TO SHARE THE ROADS WITH THESE DEADLY OUT OF CONTROL BATTERING RAMS.
THIS IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE FRAGILE TESLA SUSPENSIONS. PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE USED A VIN FROM A JUNKYARD TESLA TO SATISFY YOUR WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS. MY WIFE WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AT HER SCHOOL AT A SLOW RATE OF SPEED (AS SHE WAS PARKING BETWEEN 2 CARS). THE VEHICLE WAS IN CHILL MODE, WHICH MEANS THAT IT CANNOT ACCELERATE AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. WHEN SHE WAS ROUGHLY OF THE WAY INTO THE PARKING SPOT WITH HER FOOT ON THE BRAKE, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AS IF IT WAS IN PERFORMANCE MODE. IT WENT OVER A CURB AND INTO A CHAIN LINK FENCE (WHICH WAS ROUGHLY 10-12 FEET PAST THE CURB) BEFORE SHE COULD GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP ITSELF. THIS WAS AT AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND CHILDREN WERE PRESENT. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS HURT. TESLA HAS YET TO RESPOND TO OUR INQUIRIES REGARDING THE INCIDENT.
2016 TESLA, 3 YRS OLD WITH 61,170 MILES. WHILE BACKING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY, AT SLOW SPEED, WITH STEERING WHEEL TURNED, BOTH FORELINKS (SUSPENSION ARMS) BROKE. THE CAR APPEARED DRIVE-ABLE AND THE ONLY ISSUE I NOTICED WAS A LOUD METAL GRINDING SOUND WHEN BRAKING AT SLOW SPEEDS. TESLA SERVICE CENTER INSPECTED AND CONFIRMED BOTH FORELINKS WERE BROKEN BUT I'M STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK ON ANY ADDITIONAL DAMAGE (I.E. STEERING KNUCKLE) RESULTING FROM THIS ISSUE.
I HAVE A 90D THAT IS NOW SEEM TO BE A 75D. TESLA UPDATE 10 HAS TAKEN AWAY VOLTAGE. THE CAR NOW DRIVES IN THE LOW 300S WHEREAS IT USED TO BE MID 250S. THEY'VE TAKEN AWAY RANGE. BEFORE UPDATE 10, I GOT 277 MILES AT 90%. TWO SUPER CHARGERS AGO, AFTER LOADING UPDATE 10, IT WOULD ONLY CHARGE TO 266 MI AT 100% THEY'VE TAKEN AWAY FAST CHARGING SPEEDS. THE CAR USED TO CHARGE BETWEEN 107 TO 110 KW PER HOUR AND NOW TOPS IS 60S AND 70S. I UNDERSTAND NORMAL BATTERY DEGRADATION BUT THIS IS NOT IT. I CALLED TESLA YESTERDAY 11 /26 /2019, TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. THE SERVICE REP MENTIONED THAT THE LAST UPDATES MAY HAVE ROLLED OUT FIXES FOR BATTERY LONGEVITY AND HEALTH. MY ISSUES ARE THAT I PAID FOR A 90D AND NOW HAVE THE EQUIVALENT OF A 75 D. WHY? IF THERE ARE ISSUES WITH BATTERY HEALTH, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF IT CAUSING A FIRE AS HAS APPEARED IN THE NEWS LATELY, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT AND WOULD LIKE IT FIXED. I DON'T NEED A FIRE ERUPTED IN MY GARAGE RIGHT BELOW MY BEDROOM WHILE I'M SLEEPING. ALSO I NEED TO TAKE 1500 MILE TRIP SHORTLY AND AM NOW EXTREMELY NERVOUS THAT SOMETHING MAY HAPPEN. ON TOP OF THAT UNCERTAINTY, THERE IS ALSO EXTRA THE HOURS THAT WILL BE ADDED TO MY TRIP DUE TO THIS DECREASE IN MILEAGE, CHARGING SPEED AND PERFORMANCE. AS A LONE FEMALE DRIVER I DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING ON THE ROAD LONGER THAN I HAVE TO BE, ESPECIALLY WHEN I PAID FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD GET THERE SOONER THAN IT WILL NOW. PLEASE HELP TO GET ANSWERS AND TO GET THIS SAFETY ISSUE FIXED.
Over the course of 3 years, I reported that steering was "too loose". Often times any of the driver assisted functions would stop working, and the steering felt so loose that it was almost like the wheels felt like they would fall off. Often times it felt as though the car was out of alignment. I commented with the Tesla Service Center team members many occasions over the last 3 years that the steering did not feel right and starting happening after 2 years of ownership. I did purchase an extended warranty beyond the basic warranty. I asked on several occasions in writing if they thought the safety of driving with the steering so loose would be in question, and they would never respond in writing. They would only tell me verbally that safety was not an issue. After pushing them to determine what the root cause of the loose driving was about and the loss of assisted driving functionality, they said that my steering column needed to be replaced. I was only informed of this after my warranty had lapsed. The cost to fix it was $3500, and I have no other options on places to get it fixed other than the Tesla Service Center(s). Needless to say, I was not very happy about this considering that I paid over $80K for the auto in July of 2017. I also purchased AutoPilot software in 2020, but it did not work very well considering the steering problems. My hunch is that Tesla is trying to avoid this problem and wait for folks to go beyond their basic warranty and have them pay for new steering columns. I would appreciate your investigation into this and help me with my concerns. Also the safety of the car seems to be in question, and not sure if they are trained to tell customers not to worry about this issue that I have discovered. Thank you.
HERE IS A TESLA IN THE JUNKYARD. THE FRONT STEERING KNUCKLE HAS SNAPPED IN HALF. IT IS UNKNOWN WHETHER THE SNAPPED KNUCKLE WAS THE CAUSE OR THE RESULT OF THE CRASH HOWEVER IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE CASTING IS OF LOW QUALITY. SUCH A CRUCIAL COMPONENT SHOULD NOT BE MADE OF BRITTLE MONKEY METAL. QUALITY CONTROL AT THE SUPPLIER AND AT TESLA IS DEFICIENT. I PETITION YOU TO LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE REASON FOR SO MANY TESLAS SUFFERING FROM SUSPENSION BREAKAGES.
DRIVING ON A 2 LANE HIGHWAY USING AUTOPILOT THE CAR ACCELERATED AND PULLED LEFT, ENDED UP IN THE OPPOSITE LANE AND ALMOST OFF ROAD OVER A CLIFF. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST INCIDENT I HAD WITH MY TESLA. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE USING CRUISE CONTROL, IT SUDDENLY BRAKED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY, WHILE THE IMMEDIATE COLLISION ALARM WENT OFF. THERE WERE NO VEHICLES IN FRONT OF MINE AND NO IMMEDIATE RISK FOR COLLISION. TESLA NEEDS TO IMPROVE THE AUTOPILOT FEATURES AS THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT SAFETY CONCERNS.
BALL JOINTS FAIL WITHOUT WARNING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 TESLA MODEL S. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD CRACKING SOUND AND THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VEER TO THE LEFT. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WAS VERY LOW AND CLOSE TO THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TESLA (9850 W BROAD ST, GLEN ALLEN, VA 23060,) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT END WAS FRACTURED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,756.
3 YEAR OLD TESLA MODEL S 71K MILES. CATASTROPHIC FRONT SUSPENSION CONTROL ARM FAILURE. WHEELS DISCONNECTED FROM FRAME AND RUBBING AGAINST WHEEL WELL AFTER LOW SPEED DRIVE (<10 MPH) INSIDE PARKING LOT. NO COLLISION. NO PRIOR DAMAGE TO SUSPENSION. LARGE GRINDING NOISE AND UNABLE TO STEER. HAD TO CALL TOW TRUCK TO SEND TO TESLA SERVICE.
THERE ARE TWO THINGS. FIRST THE BATTERY PACK DOES NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL PERFORMANCE AS TESLA SLOWED DOWN SUPERCHARGING AND NOT GETTING THE MILES THE BATTERY IS SUPPOSED TO GET WITH A SAFETY UPDATE. SECOND THE TOUCH SCREEN GLITCHES AND HAS TO BE RESET MANY TIMES AND IT HAS A COMMON ISSUE OF THE MEMORY GOING BAD AND I AM NOW SEEING SYMPTOMS OF IT GOING BAD. *TR
MODEL S IN THE JUNKYARD. VENDOR HAS BEEN KIND ENOUGH TO PROVIDE A CLOSE UP PHOTOGRAPH OF THE SNAPPED FRONT SUSPENSION PARTS. THE SUSPENSION ARM HAS BROKEN IN HALF DUE TO THE BAD QUALITY CAST MONKEY METAL THAT TESLA USES. HOW MANY MORE EXAMPLES OF THESE FAILURES DO YOU NEED BEFORE YOU DEMAND A RECALL? AFTER THE SHOCK (BECAUSE OF THE FAILED AUTOPILOT), ALL THE LIGHTS TURNED OFF AND IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO TURN THEM ON BY USING THE WHICH NEAR THE WHEEL. I HAVE NOT GOT RESPONSE TO ANY OF THOSE.. .THIS PROBLEM HAPPENED AFTER I HAD SUCCESSFULLY TURNED THE CAR 90 DEGREE TO PARK HEADON. THE CAR HAD TO BE AT A VERY LOW SPEED AT THAT TIME. MANY OTHER DRIVERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. IT IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT LIGHTLY. I ASKED TESLA TO GIVE ME THE REPORT OF THAT TIME AND THEY DID NOT GIVE. AS USUAL, I DROVE TESLA TO WORK. MY PARKING SPOT IS A HEAD-IN PARKING SPOT. TO PARK MY CAR I HAVE TO MAKE A 90-DEGREE TURN, SO I PRESSED THE BREAKS TO SLOW THE CAR. JUST AS THE CAR COMPLETED THE 90-DEGREE TURN AND I WAS ABOUT TO STOP THE CAR TO COMPLETE PARKING, IT ACCELERATED OUT OF CONTROL. IT JUMPED THE CURB IN THE FRONT AND HIT BUSHES ABOUT 5-6 FEET AHEAD. THE CAR SUFFERED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE THAT IS ESTIMATED TO COST ABOUT $20,000. I ALSO TRUST THAT TESLA IS COMMITTED TO MAKING TESLA 100% SAFE TO DRIVE. THEREFORE, IT IS IN BOTH PARTIES' INTEREST TO FIND WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED. FORTUNATELY, TESLA KEEPS TRACK OF EVERY MOVEMENT THAT EVERY TESLA MAKES. THE RECORD CAN PROVE BEYOND DOUBT WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED. I, THEREFORE, REQUEST A COMPLETE RECORD OF WHAT HAPPENED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE ONLY WAY I COULD HAVE PUT THE CAR IN THE HIGH ACCELERATION - THAT MY WIFE AND I NOTICED - WOULD BE THAT I LIFTED MY FEET FROM THE BREAK AND INSTANTLY PRESSED VERY HARD ON THE ACCELERATED PADDLE. LEFT FORELINK CRACKED WHILE TURNING THE WHEEL IN A PARKING LOT

THE CONTACT STATED THAT A YEAR AGO, WHILE TRYING TO EXIT THE PARKING LOT, THE GEAR WAS PUT IN DRIVE, HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED BACKWARDS AND CRASHED INTO THE VEHICLE BEHIND. THERE WAS NO INJURY. THERE WAS NOT POLICE REPORT. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED BUT WAS NOT TOWED. THE FAILURE THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE RECURRED RECENTLY AS THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO PARK BETWEEN TWO VEHICLES THE VEHICLE WENT IN REVERSE AND CRASHED INTO THE VEHICLE ON THE LEFT. THE CONTACT WAS NOT SURE OF ANY WARNING. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED IN EITHER CASES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF ANY OF FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 33,000.
The contact owns a 2016 Tesla Model S. The contact stated that the center console screen was blank which caused several other electrical failures. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V035000 (Back Over Prevention, Visibility, Exterior Lighting). The dealer was contacted and informed that the parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
FRONT RIGHT FORE LINK FAILED DISABLING STEERING TO WHEEL. FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE IN CITY DRIVING AT MEDIUM SPEED. SYMPTOM WAS LOUD NOISE FROM FRONT RIGHT QUARTER PANEL AREA AND SHUDDERING. CAR WAS TOWED VIA FLATBED TRAILER TO TESLA SERVICE FACILITY IN RIVIERA BEACH, FL. SERVICE PERSONNEL REPLACED BOTH FRONT FORE LINKS ALONG WITH THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE. WORK WAS COVERED BY WARRANTY.
SUSPENSION: THE VEHICLE STARTED MAKING CRUNCHING/GRINDING SOUNDS WHEN TURNING OR GOING OVER ANY SLIGHT BUMPS AT HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS. WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL, THE ENTIRE VEHICLE WOULD TILT UP AND DOWN. ALSO IN DRIVE AND REVERSE, THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE WOULD HIT THE WHEEL WELL. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE VEHICLE WOULD MAKE SOUNDS AS WELL. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE IN AND THEY FOUND THAT THE UPPER CONTROL ARM HAD SNAPPED AND THE LOWER CONTROL ARM HAD BEEN DAMAGED AS WELL. THEY SAID IT WAS A RESULT OF THE VEHICLE GOING OVER A SEVERE BUMP OR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 38,000 MILES ON IT AND HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN OVER EXTREME CONDITIONS. WHEN LOOKING AT THE PART, IT LOOKS MORE LIKE A RESULT OF A MANUFACTURING DEFECT (STRESS FRACTURE) RATHER THAN NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. FORTUNATELY WE DID.M NOT EXPERIENCE COMPLETE FAILURE WHILE DRIVING, AS IT POTENTIALLY COULD HAVE BEEN CATASTROPHIC.
TESLA PUSHED OVER-THE-AIR SOFTWARE UPDATES TO MY VEHICLE, WHICH REDUCED THE RANGE THE CAR COULD TRAVEL ON A SINGLE CHARGE, OWNERS. THE SOFTWARE UPDATES, WHICH STARTED IN MAY 2019, WERE MADE TO FIX FOR BATTERIES THAT COULD IGNITE IN NON-CRASH SCENARIOS.
RE: NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: DP19005 - INVESTIGATION SUBJECT : BATTERY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE UPDATES STARTING WITH A SOFTWARE UPDATE IN MAY 2019, TESLA CAPPED THE MAX VOLTAGE THE HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY WOULD CHARGE TO. THEY CLAIM THEY DID THIS "OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION" AFTER SEVERAL NON-CRASH FIRES HAPPENED TO THESE MODELS. TESLA TOOK ACTION TO DOWNGRADE HORSEPOWER AND RANGE ALONG WITH ALL OTHER ASPECTS OF PERFORMANCE THROUGH A TOTAL VOLTAGE CAP AFTER CLAIMING TO BE RELEASING A FIRE-SAFETY UPDATE, BUT OFFICIALLY NO SAFETY UPDATE WAS RELEASED. THIS CHANGE HAPPENED WHILE THE CAR WAS PARKED IN MY GARAGE AND STATIONARY.
SUDDEN SQUEAK AND FRONT OF THE CAR FELT MORE BOUNCY WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS OR ANY ELEVATION. ALSO WHEN LOWERING OR RAISING AIR SUSPENSION WILL MAKE RUBBING SOUND. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN INTO ACCIDENT OR ANY DAMAGE.

I HAD JUST FINISHED WASHING/DRYING MY 2016 TESLA MODEL S (LESS THAN 22K MILES), AND WHILE VERY SLOWLY BACKING OUT OF MY INCLINED DRIVEWAY WITH THE STEERING WHEEL TURNED TO THE RIGHT, I HEARD AN AUDIBLE CRACK, FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT TIRE RUBBING AGAINST THE WHEEL WELL LINER. ON THE DRIVEWAY, I FOUND A SEMI-CIRCULAR PIECE OF ALUMINUM, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE A CRACKED FORELINK.

IT MAYBE RELATED TO HIGH SPEED BUT DOES HAPPEN WHEN I DRIVE ABOUT 30 - 40 MILES AN HOUR OR EVEN SLOWER. IT FEELS VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE I JUST CANNOT MAKE A SMOOTH TURN.
THE MCU (MASTER CONTROL UNIT) IS THE 17" TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY THAT CONTROLS MOST OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN PLAGUED OVER IT'S LIVE WITH FREEZE UP'S AND REBOOTS. APRIL 2019, SCREEN LOCKED UP AND WOULD NOT RESTART, WHICH CAUSED VEHICLE TO LOOSE PROPULTION, POWER ASSISTED BRAKES, POWER STEERING, WINDOW CONTROLS (HAD TO USE EMERGENCY MANUAL RELEASE TO EXIT VEHICLE, THEN GO BACK IN AND SQUEEZE BETWEEN THE SEATS TO GET MY DISABLED SON OUT OF THE BACK AS THE BACK DOOR HANDLES DID NOT OPERATE EITHER AND HAD TO TRY AND FIND THE WELL HIDDEN MANUAL RELEASE HIDDEN UNDER THE CARPET WITH NO MARKINGS TO GET THE REAR DOOR OPEN AND HIM OUT OF HIS CAR SEAT). VEHICLE ALSO WOULD NOT GO IN TO PARK, I HAD TO USE MY SHOES (WITH STEEL TOE) UNDER THE WHEELS TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM ROLLING DOWN AN INCLINE. THIS ALSO PREVENTED THE HOOD FROM BEING OPENED TO POTENTIALLY PULL THE POWER TO THE VEHICLE TO FORCE A RESET AS THE RESET BUTTONS DID NOT WORK. ALSO TRUNK WOULD NOT OPEN AND HAD TO CLIMB THROUGH THE INSIDE TO GET TO THE MANUAL RELEASE FOR THE TRUNK TO GET DIAPERS FOR MY DISABLED SON WHILE WE WAITED 4 HOURS FOR A TOW. ONCE DOORS WERE SHUT, NO WAY TO GET BACK IN. HEAD LIGHTS ALSO WOULD NOT TURN OFF. HAD IT TOWED TO TESLA SERVICE OF HIGHLAND PARK, ILLINOIS FROM MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WISCONSIN. THEY SAID THE HEADLIGHTS STAYED ON ALL NIGHT, AND THAT THE CAR "FIXED" ITSELF THE OVERNIGHT SOME HOW. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WOULD BE PROVIDED. THAT WAS THE WORST FAILURE, HOWEVER, IT STILL LOCKS UP AND REBOOTS AT RANDOM TIMES AS IT'S IN USE. MY CURRENT 2016 MODEL S HAS HAD AROUND 6. THE LAST WAS FRONT PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE REPLACED IN MAY 2018 WHICH WOULD NOT EXTEND NOR OPEN THE DOOR. REAR PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE HAS NOW FAILED. IT WILL EXTEND, BUT WILL NOT OPEN THE VEHICLE'S DOOR. THIS IS A KNOWN, AND ON-GOING ISSUE FOR THE MODEL S VEHICLES OF ALL YEARS AND TRIM LEVELS. MY CAR IS SUPPOSED TO CHARGE AT A RATE OF 120KW AT THE TESLA SUPERCHARGERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY BUT TESLA HAS THROTTLED MY MAX POSSIBLE SPEED TO 93KW. THEY ARE SAYING THAT MY BATTERY IS DEFECTIVE AND HAS DEGREDATED TO A POINT OF WHICH IT CANNOT CHARGE AT FULL SPEEDS AND THE REDUCTION IN SPEED IS TO ENSURE MY CAR BATTERY WILL NOT BECOME FURTHER DAMAGED. THIS BATTERY CHARGING ISSUE OCCURRED PRIOR TO MY OWNERSHIP AND I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS WHEN PURCHASING MY USED TESLA FROM THE TESLA WEBSITE. THIS SEEMED TO HAPPEN NOT FAR AFTER THE SUC FIRE IN NORWAY A LITTLE WHILE BACK, A LOT OF OTHER MODEL S OWNERS I KNOW HAD THE SAME WORK CARRIED OUT. THIS IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT TESLA SUSPENSION FAILURES. HERE IS A RECENT FORUM DISCUSSION IN WHICH SEVERAL OWNERS POST PHOTOGRAPHS OF SUSPENSIONS THAT HAVE SNAPPED AT LOW SPEED AND NOT AS A RESULT OF COLLISION DAMAGE. THIS IS ABSOLUTE PROOF OF TESLA SUSPENSIONS FAILING FROM SNAPPED ALLOY PARTS AND FROM SNAPPED (2 PIECE) STEEL BOLTS. IF YOU LOOK AT THE SUSPENSION DETAIL PHOTO THERE ARE THREE CIRCULAR PIECES IN A TRIANGLE BELOW THE RUBBER CV JOINT BOOT. ON MY CAR THE TOP ONE OF THOSE THREE CIRCLES, THE SHINY ONE, BROKE. I BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED. IN YOUR CASE THE LOWER LEFT CIRCLE SEEMS TO BE BROKEN I.E. THE ACTUAL HUB OR WHEEL CARRIER. SOMEHOW THE BALL JOINT CAME APART PERHAPS AS A RESULT. I CANT SEE IF THE BOLT HOLDING THE BALL JOINT IN THE LOWER RIGHT CIRCLE IS STILL IN PLACE POINTING DOWN TO THE GROUND, OR IF THAT BROKE. PARKED MY CAR IN A REGULAR PARKING SPOT. AFTER 30 MINUTES, I RE-ENTER THE CAR AND WHEN I BACKED OUT, THE CAR HAD APPARENTLY LOWERED ITSELF ON THE CONCRETE PARKING BUMPER AND THE CAR DRAGGED THE CONCRETE BARRIER OUT AS WELL AND HEAVILY DAMAGED MY CAR'S FRONT ($6,600 WORTH OF REPAIRS). IMMEDIATELY DROVE TO TESLA SERVICE CENTER AND THEY ESTABLISHED THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SUSPENSION OR ANY OTHER PARTS. "WE ADVISE OUR CUSTOMERS NOT TO PARK OVER PARKING BUMPERS" I WAS TOLD BY THE TSC MANAGER. I FILED A COMPLAINT AND CLAIM FOR REIMBURSEMENT WITH TESLA BUT DID NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. A PARKED CAR SHOULD NOT MOVE. NOT FORWARD, NOT BACKWARD, NOT UP NOT DOWN.
