WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGH SPEEDS THERE WAS VIBRATION IN VEHICLE, AND IT WAS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. DEALERSHIP HAS EXAMINED VEHICLE, AND COULD NOT DETERMINE A CAUSE TO THE PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / ATTACHMENTS. *AK
VEHICLE DRIFTS FROM THE RIGHT TO THE LEFT. VEHICLE PERFORMS A LANE CHANGE FROM RIGHT TO THE LEFT ON ALL TYPES OF ROADS AT ALL SPEEDS. THE FASTER THE SPEED THE SOONER THE LANE CHANGE. *AK
LOW BEAM (LEFT) ONLY ILLUMINATES ABOUT 3 CAR LENGTHS AHEAD OF CAR ,WHEREAS THE RIGHT LOW BEAM ILLUMINATES WAY OUT AND A LITTLE TO THE RIGHT. TWICE TOOK VEHICLE TO SERVICE DEPT. ,DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND PROBLEM.MADE SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT ON RIGHT BEAM. I BELIEVE THERE IS A DEFINITE PROBLEM WITH THE LEFT BEAM AND LIVING IN DEER COUNTRY THIS REPRESENTS A SAFETY PROBLEM! PLASE HELP. *AK
CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH HEADLIGHTS. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS ONLY ILLUMINATE FOR A SHORT DISTANCE. ALSO ONCOMING PEDESTRIANS COULDN'T BE SEEN UNLESS THE VEHICLE GETS VERY CLOSE. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK

DOORS WILL NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY UNLESS THEY ARE SLAMMED SHUT. DEALER CONTACTED AND IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, STATES THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE, CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK

EXCESSIVE WEAR OF BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, REPLACEMENT/ ROTORS TUNE ARE NEEDED EVERY 8,000 MILES; DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
DURING A 70 MPH FRONTAL CRASH, THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE DRIVER'S HEAD HIT THE WINDSHIELD.
THE TIRES ARE CONSTANTLY GOING OUT OFF BALANCE - CAR AND/OR TIRE DEALERS STATE THE THE DEFECT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY( DOT NUMBER: TIRE SIZE: 2056516 HR )
POWER DOOR LOCKS INDICATED THAT IT IS NOT LOCKED WHEN INFACT IT IS, LOCKING PASSENGERS INSIDE. AFTER RESTARTING ENGINE AND MANIPULATING LOCK SEVERAL TIMES LOCKS WILL RELEASE.
ON BOTH OCCASIONS WHICH THE FAILURES OCCURRED IT WAS NECESSARY FOR MY WIFE, AND IN THE LATTER CASE OUR FAMILY, TO TRAVEL TO ANOTHER CITY TO OBTAIN SERVICE WITHOUT THE SAFETY PROTECTION OF THE AIR BAG SYSTEM. *AK

CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A RIGHT SIDE IMPACT COLLISION AT 25 MPH IN WHICH THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK *NLM

DESIGN OF THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL AND ERRATIC STEERING AT SPEEDS 30 MPH AND OVER.
OWNER HAS ABS BRAKES, VEHICLE WILL NOT STOP WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED. PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. DEALERS CANNOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM. ALSO POWER STEERING PUMP HAS FAILED, CAUSE UNKNOWN. IGNITION LOCK FAILURE.
DEALER REPLACED THE FRONT RESTRAINTS. WHEN VEHICLE IS PARKED ON A INCLINE THEY LOCK UP. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE WAS IN NEUTRAL ,STRUCK GEAR SHIFT BY ACCIDENT WITHOUT APPLYING BUTTON ON GEAR SHIFT, PUTTING VEHICLE INTO DRIVE, CAUSING UNCERTAIN MOVEMENT OF VEHICLE. OWNER IS VERY CONCERNED FOR SAFETY. *AK

DARK SPOT CAST FROM LEFT HEADLAMP, RESULTING IN POOR VISIBILITY.
ON COUNTRY ROAD WHEN GOING UP AND DOWN HILLS, THE LOW BEAM LIGHT SHINES ONLY ONE OR TWO CAR LENGHTS AND IS NOT A BEAM OF LIGHT BUT A BLOCK OF LIGHT WHICH STOPS ABRUPTLY. THERE IS TOTAL DARKNESS BEYOND THE BLOCK OF LIGHT. THESE LIGHTS ARE A SAFETY HAZARD. THE DEALER EXAMINED THE LIGHTS AND SAYS ARE TO SPECIFICATIONS. TOYOTA REGIONAL AND NATIONAL OFFICES ADVISED TO SUBMIT THIS ISSUE TO BBB AUTO LINE, WHICH I DID. BBB AUTO LINE ADVISES THIS IS A DESIGN ISSUE AND HOT SUBJECT TO THEIR PROGRAM. I AM NOW LOOKING TO THE DOT FOR HELP. THE HEADLAMS ON LOW BEAM ARE NOT SUFFICIENT TO SEE A SATE DISTANCE. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A DOT SAFETY ENGINEER DRIVE THIS MODEL CAR AT NIGHT ON A TWO LANE COUNTY ROAD AND RENDER AN OPINION. I WOULD BE WILLING TO OFFER MY VEHICLE AND PARTICIPATE IN THE TEST DRIVE.

WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MILES/HOUR OR ABOVE VEHICLE VERY QUICKLY CHANGES LANE FROM RIGHT TO LEFT
ON WET ROADS, THE FRONT BRAKES LOCK (IN NON-EMERGENCY CONDITIONS). THE VEHICLE DOES NOT TRACK PROPERLY AND BEGINS TO SLIDE AT AN ANGLE.
GENERAL TIRES (P 205/65 R15) WEARING EXCESSIVELY ON THE INSIDE TREAD.
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A 40 MPH FRONTAL COLLISON IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
CONCERNED THAT SIDE DOOR AIR BAG WILL CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO ARM, THAT IS RESTING ON DOOR, WHEN DEPLOYED.

WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE BRAKES MAKES A LOUD NOISE, AND AFTER A COUPLE OF SECONDS THE BRAKE PEDAL DROPS TO THE FLOOR. DEALER HAS NOT SEEN. *AK
