PURCHASED A 2003 MATRIX RS WITH OPTION PK THAT INCLUDED 17" WHEELS, ABS, ALL WEATHER GUARD PACKAGE, AND SPORTS TRIM. FIRST SNOW I FOUND OUT THE PACKAGE WITH A INCLUDES SUMMER ONLY TIRES. MY MISTAKE FOR NOT CHECKING THE TIRES, BUT THE ABS BRAKES AND ALL WEATHER GUARD PACKAGE LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THE CAR WAS READY FOR WINTER. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE WITH CURRENT TIRES.
THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES HAD NO TRACTION AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SLIDE IN THE SNOW. CONSUMER REQUESTED THE DEALERSHIP REIMBURSE FOR PURCHASE OF SNOW TIRES. *TT *JB
WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY VEHICLE STARTED PULLING TO THE RIGHT, OWNER THEN PULLED OVER, AND TIRE WAS COMPLETELY FLAT. WHEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP, THEY COULD NOT FIND WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, TIRE WAS SENT TO THE MANUFACTURER, WHO OFFERED TO PAY PARTIAL AMOUNT. *AK *JB
