Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)THE DRIVER-SIDE MIRROR WITH DIMMING,BLINKER, HEST AND FOLDING IN CAPABILITY HAS FAILED. THE MOTOR THAT CONTROLS THE MIRROR CONSTANTLY RUNS AND THE MIRROR OPENS AND CLOSES WITH THE WIND DIRECTION. I TRIED TO FIND A REPLACEMENT PART BUT ALL THE REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVE THE SAME MOTOR PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP REQUIRES A ENTIRE MIRROR REPLACEMENT AND REPAINT. *TR
TOYOTA SIENNA 2006 - REPEATED FAILURE OF FUSE CAUSING INTERIOR LIGHTS TO NOT WORK. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD WHEN ENTERING THE CAR AT NIGHT AS YOU CANNOT SEE THE IGNITION NOR ANYTHING ELSE IN THE CAR. FUSE HAS BEEN REPLACED BY DEALER AND AFTER EACH REPLACEMENT, LIGHTS WORK TEMPORARILY & THEN THE FUSE BLOWS. ONLINE SEARCH ON GOOGLE SHOWS MANY OTHER SIENNA OWNERS HAVE SAME PROBLEM SO THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATE CASE. *TR
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH OF THE VEHICLE'S HEADLIGHTS ARE AIMED TOWARDS THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS MODIFIED BY A MOBILITY INDUSTRY IN 01/06 TO ACCOMMODATE DISABLED PASSENGERS. THE VEHICLE'S INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION WAS REPLACED WITH A SOLID AXLE WHICH RAISED THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE 2 INCHES CAUSING THE HEADLIGHTS TO BE AIMED 50FT AHEAD. THE MOBILITY INDUSTRY WAS NOTIFIED ABOUT THE DEFECT ON THE 07/13/06 AND DETERMINED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
