MY CIGARETTE LIGHTER POPPED OUT OF ITS RECEPTACLE ON TO THE FLOOR OF MY BRAND NEW TRUCK (APPROX. 4,000 MILES) CAUSING A FIRE THAT DESTROYED 75% OF THE INTERIOR. TWENTY MINUTES AFTER THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT I CALLED THE DEALER THAT I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FROM. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE AND OFFERED NO HELP. TOYOTA SENT AN INVESTIGATOR TO INSPECT THE TRUCK AND HE DID JUST THAT, FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS. EVENTUALLY THEY SENT A LETTER TO ME (2 MONTHS LATER) THAT SUGGESTED AN OUTSIDE SOURCE COULD HAVE STARTED THE FIRE. *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED AFTER RECEIVING A RECALL LETTER ONE MONTH AGO CONCERNING THE TIRES: BEAD ON THE VEHICLE, THE DEALERSHIP DISMOUNTED AND INSPECTED EACH TIRE. AFTERWARDS THE STEERING WHEEL SHOOK AND THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT. THE DEALERSHIP REBALANCED THE TIRES TWICE. THE CONTACT STATES THE VEHICLE WAS NOT HAVING ANY PROBLEMS PRIOR TO THE RECALL. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID# IS: 06V061000; TIRES/BEAD.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A RECALL LETTER WAS RECEIVED NHTSA RECALL, #06V061000 ON THE VEHICLE REGARDING THE TIRES: BEAD. THE TIRES NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THE TIRES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THE LETTER STATES THE TIRES WOULD BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF NEEDED HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER EXPLAINED TO THE CONTACT THEY WILL NOT INSPECT THE TIRES BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE DEALERSHIP. 1) VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED AND DELIVERED WITH THIS DEFECT. ACCELERATOR STICKS WHEN TRAVELING OVER 50 MPH. 2) NO ACCIDENT HAS OCCURRED YET. THE FAULT WAS FIRST NOTICED WHEN TOWING A TRAILER ON THE THRUWAY. COMING UP ON A SLOWER VEHICLE, I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR EXPECTING THE VEHICLE TO SLOW. THE VEHICLE KEPT ON AT THE SAME SPEED AS IF THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ENGAGED. I HAD TO APPLY BRAKES TO SLOW THE VEHICLE. I HAVE CLOCKED THE ACCELERATOR STICKING BETWEEN 5 TO 20 SECONDS BEFORE THE ENGINE RPM'S BEGIN TO DROP. 3) TOYOTA REFUSES TO MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS AS THEIR FACTORY REP SAYS THIS IS NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN TO THE DEALER 2 TIMES ON THIS DEFECT. *NM
MY 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA MAKES A LOUD CLANKING NOISE UPON TAKEOFF. THE NOISE COMES FROM THE REAR OF THE TRUCK. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE DEALERSHIP STATES THAT THIS IS NORMAL FOR THE TACOMA. IF TRUE, THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS. *NM
VEHICLE HAS A DRIVETRAIN SHUDDER ON TAKE OFF BETWEEN SHIFT FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR AT APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MPH. THIS HAS DONE THIS SINCE IT WAS BRAND NEW. DEALER REPLACED DRIVELINE WHICH DID NOT HELP. REGIONAL TOYOTA REP DROVE THE TRUCK AND ACKNOWLEDGED THE SHUDDER BUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE NORMAL. THIS APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN DEFECT AND IS COMPLAINED ABOUT BY MANY OWNERS ON TOYOTA TACOMA ONLINE FORUM: HTTP://WWW.TOYOTANATION.COM/FORUM/T171279.HTML . THERE ARE MANY OTHER MESSAGE THREADS FROM OTHER OWNERS WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT. SEARCHING FOR SHUDDER OR VIBRATION WILL YIELD RESULTS. I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS SHUDDER/VIBRATION IS CAUSING WEAR ON COMPONENTS ON MY VEHICLE AND IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO DRIVE EVERY DAY. MANY OWNERS SEEM TO BE WAITING FOR A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN THAT WILL ADVISE DEALERS ON HOW TO FIX THIS. I HAVE OWNED 4 OTHER TOYOTA'S AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS POOR QUALITY/DESIGN IN ONE OF THEIR VEHICLES. *JB
WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION I HEARD CELLULAR PHONE INTERFERENCE THROUGH MY VEHICLE SPEAKERS. THE TRAFFIC LIGHT CHANGED TO RED. I PLACED MY FOOT ONTO THE BRAKE PEDAL WHICH WAS NOT EFFECTIVE DUE TO THE CONTINUED ACCELERATION OF MY VEHICLE, AND SIMULTANEOUSLY HEARING LOUD ENGINE NOISE DUE TO THE ACCELERATION. IN ATTEMPT TO AVOID VEHICLES I STRUCK AND KNOCKED OVER TWO CEMENTED POSTS, AVOIDED TO DRIVE INTO A BUILDING, I STILL CONTINUING TO ACCELERATE AND DRIVE ONTO A SIDEWALK WHERE I WAS ABLE TO PLACE MY VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL TO STOP THE ACCELERATION AND TURNING OFF MY VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD TWO OTHER SITUATIONS WITH ACCELERATION PROBLEMS APPROXIMATELY 12 MONTHS APART. ONE INVOLVED STRIKING TWO VEHICLES ONTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN LOSING CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE. SECOND WAS WHEN MERGING ONTO A INTERSTATE MY VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE, I HAD TIME TO CHECK MY FLOOR MATS FOR POSSIBLE PEDAL OBSTRUCTION WHICH WAS CLEAR, I PLACED MY CAR INTO NEUTRAL WHERE THE RPM GAUGE OF MY VEHICLE WENT TO THE RED FOR SEVERAL SECONDS AND THEN CORRECTED ITSELF TO THE IDLE POSITION WHERE I WAS ABLE TO PLACE THE VEHICLE BACK INTO DRIVE AND WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE AS NORMAL WITHOUT ANY INCIDENT. *TR
TRUCK HAD 0 MILES AND FROM DAY 1 I HAVE HEARD A TAPPING SOUND(ROCKER ARM LOOSE)COMPLAINED WAS TOLD BY DEALER IT WAS INJECTOR NOISE. I SAID WELL THAT INJECTOR MUST BE BAD CHANGE IT WAS TOLD ALL TOYOTA'S MAKE THAT NOISE. THIS WAS A LIE I HAVE HAD IT BACK 5X AND I KNOW I COULD FIX IT IN 10 MIN BY ADJUSTING VALVE LASH. I DO NOT WANT TO VOID THE WARRANTY HAHAHAAHAHAH SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL NOT BURN OUT THE VALVE AND IT WILL WAIT FOR THE RECALL AHAHAHAHAHA. THE GUY WITH THE CLUNK MY TRUCK DON'T CLUNK IT TAPS. THE CLUNK IS A BAD U JOINT I HOPE FOR YOUR SAKE. IF THIS TRUCK LASTS THE 4 YEARS IT TAKES ME TO PAY IT OFF. I WILL GET RID OF IT AND GO BACK TO NISSAN. *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE THROTTLE STICKS. AFTER THE THROTTLE STICKS, THE RPM'S RANGE HIGH AND DO NOT DECREASE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. ALTHOUGH, THE DEALER KNEW THE PROBLEM PERSISTED WITH THE SPEED CONTROL AND THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE REMEDIED BY THE DEALER. SINCE DAY ONE I HEARD THIS TICKING NOISE, I BROUGHT IT BACK TO DEALER AND COMPLAINED ABOUT IT. THEY TEST DROVE IT AND HEARD THE NOISE, THEN THEY DROVE A NEW ONE OFF THE LOT AND SAID IT MADE THE SAME NOISE, SO THEY TOLD ME IT WAS NORMAL. AFTER THE 3RD TIME BRINGING IT BACK FOR THE TICKING NOISE THEY SAID IT COULD BE THE INJECTORS OR THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. THEN I CALLED THE TOYOTA CORPORATION AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE TICKING AND THEY HAD SOMEBODY FROM THE DEALERSHIP CALL ME UP AND TAKE HIM FOR A TEST DRIVE AND HE DID NOT HEAR THE NOISE HE TOLD ME I MUST HAVE ESPECIALLY GOOD HEARING AT THAT FREQUENCY. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP! *JB
BRAKES FAILED CAUSING A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. *JB
ME AND MY FAMILY WAS OUT ON 2/13/07 AND WAS COMING UP TO A STOP LIGHT. THE GAS ON MY 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA WOULD NOT LET OFF. I APPLIED BRAKES, THIS WOULD NOT DISENGAGE THE GAS. A CAR WAS IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE TRUCK IN NEUTRAL AND TURN INTO A SIDE ROAD BEFORE HITTING CAR. WHILE IN NEUTRAL RPM'S WERE HIGH CAUSING THE REV LIMITER TO KICK IN. CUT IGNITION SWITCH OFF. RESTARTED TRUCK AND WAS OKAY. TOOK THIS TRUCK TO DEALERSHIP ON 2-14-07 THEY COULD NOT MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. THEY CONTACTED TOYOTA. ON 2-15-07 TOYOTA HAD NOT CONTACTED THEM BACK. I CALLED TOYOTA MYSELF AND WAS GIVEN A CASE NUMBER ON 2-15-07. THIS IS 2-20-07 AND TOYOTA HAS NOT CONTACTED ME ON THIS ISSUE. I HAVE CALLED THEM BACK AND E-MAILED WITH NO RESPONSE. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION AND COULD GET SOMEONE KILLED. THIS HAS HAPPENED AGAIN SINCE THEN. *NM
THERE IS A WHINE IN THE RUNNING GEAR AT 53 TO 63 MILES PER HOUR. ABOVE OR BELOW THAT SPEED RANGE THERE IS NO WHINE. *JB
THIS IS A SUPPLEMENT TO AN EARLIER COMPLAINT, ODI #10161327. THERE IS A WHINE IN THE DRIVE TRAIN AT 53 TO 63 MPH. ABOVE OR BELOW THAT SPEED RANGE THERE IS NO WHINE. THE DEALER ACKNOWLEDGES THERE IS A WHINE, BUT SAYS ALL REGULAR CAB TACOMAS WITH A MANUAL 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION HAVE THAT WHINE AND THAT IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. (THEY DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT!) OTHER TACOMA MODELS (WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS) DO NOT WHINE, ONLY THOSE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS, ACCORDING TO THIS DEALER. IF THIS IS TRUE, THERE MUST BE A DEFECT SOMEWHERE IN THE DRIVE TRAIN. I THINK THEY ARE STONEWALLING ME AND FEEDING ME A BUNCH OF BULL. THEY ALSO TELL ME THAT IF I WANT A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM, I MUST TALK TO SOMEONE AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL. SO FAR, I'VE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND OUT HOW TO REACH THEM. I'M STILL WORKING ON THAT. WOE IS ME! I SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH NISSAN. *NM
OUR COMPANY ALWAYS BUYS TOYOTA TACOMA TRUCKS. RECENTLY WE PURCHASE TWO 2006. WE'VE HAD TWO FLATS IN THE REAR WHERE THE SEALER JUST CAME OFF. TIRE# P 215/70R15 FIRESTONE DESTINATION LE. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY HAVEN'T HAD ANY COMPLAINTS. WE DECIDED TO INSTALL NEW COOPER TIRES AND BE DONE WITH IT. WE DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE WHILE DRIVING THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I STILL WILL BUY TOYOTA BUT IN THE FUTURE WILL ASK FOR BETTER TIRES. *NM
PASSENGER AIR BAG INTERMITTENTLY SHOWS OFF WHEN PASSENGER SEAT IS OCCUPIED. *NM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS COMING TO A STOP, AN ODD NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE DRIVESHAFT. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT ACCELERATION SUDDENLY INCREASED UP TO 7 MPH HIGHER THAN WHAT THE SPEED CONTROL WAS SET TO. IN ADDITION, WHEN THE WIND SHIFTED THE VEHICLE, THE FRONT STABILIZER BAR RUBBED AGAINST THE TIRES AND CAUSED A LOUD NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER GAVE HIM ANOTHER VEHICLE TO TEST DRIVE AND STATED IF THAT VEHICLE HAS THE SAME ISSUE THEN THAT WAS THE DESIGN OF ALL OF THE VEHICLES. THE CONTACT TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 102,000. I PURCHASED A TOYOTA TACOMA 2006 NEW AND FROM DAY ONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE OVER REVVING ON START UP, WHICH IS VERY DAMAGING TO AN ENGINE IN COLD CLIMATES. IT ALSO BETWEEN SHIFTING FROM 3RD TO 4TH, AND 4TH TO 5TH GEARS THE RPM'S WILL NOT COME DOWN TO ENABLE ONE TO SHIFT PROPERLY AND NOT ONLY MAKES FOR A ROAD DANGEROUS CONDITION BUT IT ALSO CAUSES DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE DRIVE TRAIN. I'VE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL AT TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM WITH TOYOTA, QUITE FRANKLY THEY HAVE A VERY BAD ATTITUDE WITH THIS WHOLE MATTER AND TO GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE, I WAS TOLD BY ONE DEALERSHIP THAT MAYBE I SHOULD LEARN HOW TO SHIFT FASTER. CRUISE CONTROL SET AT 67 MPH, TRAVELING IN THE LEFT HAND LANE OF HIGHWAY. CAR IN FRONT SLOWED DOWN AND I MOVED TO THE RIGHT LANE AS ANOTHER CAR WAS TAILGATING ME. STEPPED ON THE GAS WHEN THE CAR I WAS TRYING TO GET BY ACCELERATED. TRUCK ACCELERATED RAPIDLY TO 75-90 MPH, STEPPED ON THE BRAKE TO RELEASE CRUISE CONTROL BUT TRUCK CONTINUED ACCELERATION. IN FRONT OF TRUCK WAS SEMI, I HIT THE BRAKES TO CONTROL SPEED, BRAKES DID NOT WORK AS AUTOMATIC BRAKES BUT LIKE OLD BRAKES, PUT BOTH FEET ON BRAKES BUT TRUCK DID NOT SLOW DOWN AND CONTINUED AT 55 TO 65 MPH. WENT INTO THE EMERGENCY LANE, PUT ON FLASHERS. BRAKES WERE SMELLING AT THIS POINT. PUT TRUCK INTO NEUTRAL AND TRUCK CONTINUED MOVING FORWARD AT EXCESSIVE SPEED. PUT IT BACK IN DRIVE AND CONTINUED TO EXIT RAMP WHICH WAS VERY LONG. FINALLY GOT OFF HIGHWAY AND TURNED THE KEY OFF. TRUCK SMELLED BADLY FROM THE BRAKES. WAITED ABOUT 10 MINUTES, CALLED SON WHO CALLED TOYOTA. I CAREFULLY PUT THE TRUCK IN DRIVE AND CRUISED INTO A GAS STATION, TURNED TRUCK OFF, EXITED VEHICLE. SON CALLED BACK AND SAID TOYOTA SAID "DO NOT DRIVE THE TRUCK". THEY SENT A TOW TRUCK TO PICK IT UP. SON AND PARTNER GOT TO VEHICLE AND THE HUB CAPS WERE BURNING HOT FROM BRAKES BEING APPLIED. TOYOTA DROVE VEHICLE FOR 111 MILES AND CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT AND FOUND NOTHING. I CALLED TOYOTA AND HAVE STARTED ARBITRATION FOR THEM TO BUY BACK MY BRAND NEW TRUCK. *JB

TL*-THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA LOST POWER ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH OR AT 5 MPH THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS USUALLY HAPPENED WHEN HE HAD TO SHIFT AND USE THE CLUTCH. HE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER ,AND WAS GIVEN CASE# 200701040167. HE HAD BEEN TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. ALSO, HE STATED THAT IN HIS STATE THE LEMON LAW WAS NOT WORTH ANYTHING AFTER 12,000 MILES ,AND HIS VEHICLE NOW HAD 26,000 MILES. FRONT SUSPENSION NOISE ON 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA D/CAP PRERUNNER, HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE SEVEN TIMES AND THE DEALER IS UNABLE TO FIX THE NOISE. *JB
ENGINE TICK IS HORRIBLE FOR A BRAND NEW VEHICLE, I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT TOYOTA IS SELLING AS A QUALITY PRODUCT. *NM
DT: THE CONTACT STATES WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE IN THE MORNING THE IDLE WAS HIGH. IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY ONE TO ONE AND A HALF MILES OF DRIVING FOR THE IDLE TO RETURN TO NORMAL. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL STUCK. WHEN SHIFTING FROM FOURTH GEAR TO FIFTH WITHOUT FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. SHE STATED THAT FOURTH GEAR COULD NOT BE USED. THE VEHICLE MUST BE SHIFTED FROM THIRD GEAR TO FIFTH GEAR. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE, AND THEY STATED THE COMPUTER WAS LEARNING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, AND THEY AGREED WITH THE DEALERSHIP. THEREFORE, NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE . *AK UPDATED 01/25/06
AFTER 8 YEARS, THE HEADLIGHT LENSES BECAME SO CLOUDY, THE TRUCK COULD NOT BE SAFELY DRIVEN AT NIGHT. IT WAS PARKED IN A CARPORT.
MY SON TOOK HIS NEW 3 MONTH OLD 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER ON 12-12-05 FOR "HIGH IDLING" AND "WHEN ACCELERATING CUSTOMER HAVING A HARD TIME STOPPING IT" ACCORDING TO THE INVOICE.THIS VEHICLE WENT OUT OF CONTROL TWO TIMES. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED ON A SURFACE STREET SPEEDING UP FROM 40 MPH TO 80 MPH AND THE SECOND TIME HE WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. IT SPED UP FROM 70 MPH TO 110. BOTH TIMES MY SON SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL - INSTINCTIVE REACTION - AND THE TRUCK DID SLOW DOWN. HAD THE TRAFFIC BEEN BAD, HE AND OTHERS, WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED FOR SURE. BOTH TIMES, HE TOOK HIS FOOT OFF OF THE ACCELERATOR AND HE COULD SEE IT MOVING DOWN TOWARDS THE FLOOR ALL BY ITSELF. IT STILL HAS AN IDLING PROBLEM. HE WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG; BY THE DEALER AT THE TIME. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEMS WITH THE HIGH IDLING AND ACCELERATING PROBLEM. THIS MODEL IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FLOOR MAT/GAS PEDAL. *NJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE FLOOR MAT JAMMED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. AN INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE HOOKS IN THE FLOOR INTENDED TO HOLD THE MAT BACK HAD BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FLOOR. THE MATS WERE AFTERMARKET. THE CONSUMER STATED THE FLOOR MATS HAVE THE SAME CHARACTER NUMBERS AS THE PUBLISHED TOYOTA FLOOR MATS. THERE WAS A BLACK PLASTIC BOX THAT HAD RECENTLY BECOME DETACHED FROM THE UPPER LEFT CORNER OF THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR SPACE WHICH MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE MATS ABILITY TO SLIDE FORWARD AFTER THE FLOOR MAT HOOKS FELL OFF.
S10 APPROPRIATE HANDLING RE TOYOTA THROTTLE CONTROL PROBLEM FM OWNER OF A 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA TRUCK. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED TWICE WITHIN THE PAST YEAR, HE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION. IN BOTH INSTANCES, HIS FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE AND HE WAS MOVING LESS THAT 5 MPH. BOTH TIMES, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD AS THE ABS ACTIVATED, AND THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE IMPACTED THE GARAGE WALL. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE PROBLEM INVOLVED THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM THAT ACTIVATED AND OPERATED THE ABS AND THROTTLE. HE NOTICED THAT THE ABS TENDS TO ACTIVATE TOO OFTEN AND TOO EARLY, EVEN IN DRY CONDITIONS. *JB

RECALL ON FRAME - DEALER SPRAYED FRAME WITH RUST PREVENTION. IN LESS THAN A YEAR IT FELL OFF IN CHUCKS. BROUGHT IT BACK TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A STACK OF REPLACEMENT FRAMES. I DON'T FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE AND I CAN NOT SELL IT BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS OF THE PROBLEM. ALSO, MY GARAGE FLOOR IS STAINED WITH RUST. SHOULD THEY HAVE REPLACED THIS SAFETY PROBLEM?
