Over time, the trunk could not be opened from outside the vehicle. The trunk could be opened using the button inside the vehicle or the key fob. The contact also mentioned that the driver’s side rear reverse light would intermittently remain illuminated with a warning message on the instrument panel. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer and was informed that there was a defective wiring harness that caused the failure. The contact declined to repair the vehicle out of pocket.
