Driving on the highway during light rain. Applied 45%-65% throttle to pass. The check engine light began to flash and the car went into limp mode. Pulled over on the highway shut the vehicle down and restarted it 30 seconds later. Check engine light was gone, no longer in limp mode.
I’m Owner of a Acura model: TXL Year:2022, VIN: [XXX] I send my car after 7 days of purchase to the dealer because the car wasn’t started and all the dash light start blinking. Dealer said that this was not warranty cover because I tint the windshield and this create some humidity on the connector that go to the MICU. I need that you please start looking this issue because in a lot of forums another people start getting the same electrical issue even without tint the windshield. My car was only 130 miles when go the dealers, and per my understanding this can’t be the issue because if we follow this excuse then we never can be do a detailing on the interior on the car or even to the dash because any product can be cause a humidity to the connector. Can you please verify if this statement is TRU or not? Because there is not or any disclaimer from Acura that for T:LX model you can tint the windshield.
