Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)ALL WIRING INSIDE OF BOTH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES ARE BRITTLE TO THE TOUCH. I HAD A LIGHT COME ON IN THE DASH FOR A LIGHT BULB OUT AND UPON GETTING READY TO REPLACE THE DRIVERS LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT, I LEARNED ALL THE WIRE COATING WAS FLACKED OFF AND CAUSED A GROUND. I REMOVED BOTH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES, AS BOTH WERE AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN AND HAD THEM PROFRESSIONALLY REWIRED THEM WITH HEATSHRINK TUBING, AND REPLACED THE BURNT OUT HEAD LIGHT BULB. I STILL HAVE A LIGHT OUT ON THE DASH AND THE HEADLIGHT DOES NOT WORK. FURTHER TROUBLESHOOTING HAS REAVEALED THIS IS NOT THE SWITCH, AS I PURCHASED A KNOWN GOOD ONE, AND STILL NO POWER TO THE DRIVERS LOW BEAM HEAD LIGHT + LEAD. I HAVE YET TO REPLACE THE LIGHT CONTROL MODULE UNIT (UNDER THE DASH? I BELIEVE) AS THIS IS TOO COSTLY FOR ME TO AFFORD. I WILL JUST DRIVE WITH ONE HEADLIGHT OUT. :(
WHEN I ATTEMPT TO ACCELERATE IN MY 2007 BMW X3, IT APPEARS TO SKIP. ALSO, WHEN IT IS TIME FOR THE GEAR TO CHANGE, IT DOES NOT CHANGE AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME.
