The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shuddered and lost motive power while depressing the accelerator pedal. The stabilitrak and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer and had the engine lifters replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. After the recent failure, the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it remained in their possession. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no additional assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
WHILE BEING DRIVEN THE CAR CUT OFF. CAR TOWED TO JACK WINEGARDNER"S DEALERSHIP. IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE SAME CYLINDER #2 BROKEN THAT WAS REPLACED IN 2/24/2014, LESS THAN 1 YEAR AGO. *JS
