TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. AFTER STARTING THE ENGINE, A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL WAS PRESENT INSIDE THE VEHICLE. WHILE IDLING, APPROXIMATELY 1/4 OF A TANK OF FUEL HAD EVAPORATED. THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT FUEL LEAKED UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT RODENTS DAMAGED THE FUEL LINES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,700.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AND COMING TO A STOP, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND BECAME STUCK TO THE FLOORBOARD RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE NOT MOVING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I BOUGHT A 2014 CHEVY CRUZE LAST YEAR. 2 DAYS AGO THE 'SERVICE STABILITRAK' LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR STARTED HESITATING AND JERKING. WE TOOK IT IN THE NEXT DAY FOR SERVICE AND THEY TOLD US THAT THERE MAY BE A RECALL PENDING, BUT BECAUSE THE LIGHT HAD GONE BACK OFF THEY WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I AM AFRAID OF THIS HAPPENING AGAIN WHILE IN TRAFFIC, AND IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NEXT. THEY NEED TO DO A RECALL ASAP ON THIS SYSTEM BEFORE SOMEONE IS INJURED. WE FEEL VERY UNSAFE WITH THIS ISSUE POSSIBLY HAPPENING AGAIN, BUT THE DEALER WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS IT DOES HAPPEN AGAIN.
I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND HAD "REDUCED ENGINE POWER," "SERVICE STABILITRAK," COME ON AND THE RADIO WENT DEAD AND THE DASH LIGHTS WENT DEAD TOO. I AM REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS HAPPENING ON THE HIGHWAY AT SPEED.
I BROUGHT THE CAR LAST OCTOBER 2014, WITH 35 MILES ON IT. ONE MONTH LATER THE SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON ALONG WITH THE ENGINE LIGHT. I TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES THEY NEVER REALLY SAID WHAT CAUSED THIS. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES NOW. THE DEALER SAID TO PUT THE HIGHEST GAS IN IT . I HAVE DONE THIS. NOW IT IS STARTING TO HAPPEN AGAIN, THE SERVICE TRACTION COMES ON AND THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF IT STAYED ON UNTIL I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE CAR SEEMS TO LOOSE POWER, DOES NOT DRIVE NORMAL DRIVES VERY SLUGGISH. THIS HAPPENS WHEN I START THE CAR AND WHEN IT IS COLD OUT SIDE. PLEASE HELP!!!
THE POWER TO THE RADIO SCREEN CONSTANTLY CUTS OUT. MANY TIMES THE SCREEN GETS STUCK IN THE BACK UP CAMERA MODE. IT IS VERY DISTRACTING. IT HAPPENS IN PARK AND WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.
THE AUX SIGNAL COME ON OVER THE RADIO I CAN'T LISTEN TO THE RADIO AND EVERY NOW AND AGAIN THE ONSTAR LADY COMES ON WITHOUT ANYONE PUSHING A BUTTON I TURNED OFF THE BLUE TOOTH AS WELL. ALSO EVERY 2-3 MONTHS MY CAR BATTERY DIES WITHOUT CAUSE EVERY LIGHT IS OFF THIS OCCURS WHEN THE RADIO STARTS ACTING OUT MORE FREQUENTLY THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR AND THE DEALER COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT EITHER SO I HAD TO BUY A BATTERY CHARGER BECAUSE I NEVER KNOW WHEN MY BATTERY WILL DIE. I EVEN CHANGED THE BATTERY THIS YEAR N STILL IT DIES WITHOUT CAUSE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE AND DIESEL EXHAUST LEVEL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT NITROGEN OXIDE SENSOR #2 WAS INOPERABLE AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE ISSUE RECURRED AND A RECALL NOTIFICATION WAS RECEIVED AT A LATER DATE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER GM RECALL NOTIFICATION NUMBER: 15594 (EMISSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,719.
LETTER FROM CONGRESSWOMAN COMSTOCK ON BEHALF OF CONSTITUENT RE CHEVY CRUZ ENGINEERING FAILURE OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VEHICLE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHE WAS NOT AWARE OF RECALLS 14V092000 AND 14V151000; POWER TRAIN THAT WERE ISSUED ON MARCH 31, 2014 AND NO ONE AT THE DEALER BROUGHT IT TO HER ATTENTION. SHE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON JULY 3, 2014. ON DECEMBER 26, 2015, SHE EXPERIENCED COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ENGINE. HOWEVER, ON FEBRUARY 1, 2016, THE VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. *JB
CAR WILL RANDOMLY TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. SOMETIMES IT S FULL ENGINE AND POWER FAILURE AND SOMETIMES IT IS JUST ENGINE FAILURE AND ACCESSORIES STILL STAY ON . THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE THE CAR WAS NEW AND HAS BEEN LOOKED INTO BY SEVERAL CHEVY DEALERS IN MY AREA. AUTONATION TOLD ME HE HAD SEVERAL OTHER CHEVYS THAT DID THE SAME THING.

THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DEEMED DESTROYED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,700.
BREAK FLUIDS LOW, HAND BREAK LIGHT ON. WHEN I STARTED THE CAR IN THE MORNING, THE HAND BREAK LIGHT IS ON, AND I CALLED THE SERVICE CENTER AND SHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. THEY RUN THE DIAGNOSIS CHECK AND I WAS INFORMED THE BREAK WIRING WAS FAULTY AND I WAS ASKED TO PAY OUT OF MY POCKET.
MY CHEVROLET CRUZE 2014 MODEL CAR HAS A PROBLEM WITH BRAKES. I HAVE 6500 MILES ON CAR. DURING THE CAR IS RUNNING THE HAND BREAK LIGHT WAS ON AND THE FOLLOWED BY ENGINE LIGHT. AND WAS HARDLY ABLE TO BREAK. I MANAGED TO TAKE THE CAR TO SERVICE CENTER. RAY CHEVROLET SERVICE CENTER CHECKED MY CAR AND TOLD ME THAT BREAK WIRING'S ARE DAMAGED AND NEEDS TO REPLACE OTHERWISE I CANT DRIVE THE CAR. HOW CAN A WIRING IN SIDE THE CAR CAN GET DAMAGED AND RESULT IN FAILURE OF BRAKES. THE CAR IS ONLY ONE YEAR OLD AND 6500 MILES ON IT. THE WIRING INSIDE THE CAR IS NOT A REGULAR MAINTENANCE ITEM LIKE OIL CHANGE OR TIRES. I DONT KNOW WHEN WILL IT HAPPENS AGAIN. ATTACHED IS THE BILL OF SERVICE REPORT.
NOVEMBER 2015 IN 55 DEGREE WEATHER WHILE DRIVING AN ERROR MESSAGE OF "A/C OFF DUE TO HIGH ENGINE TEMP". THIS HAPPENED DURING THE SUMMER OF 2015, MY CAR SHUT OFF AN AND I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY REMEDIED THE ISSUE. I BELIEVE THEY SAID IT WAS THE WATER PUMP. AGAIN, IT'S GIVING ME THIS ERROR MESSAGE.
FUEL SYSTEM FAILURE RESULTING IN CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FIRE. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW IN APRIL 2014. AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT ENGINE POWER LOSS THREE MONTHS PRIOR, I STARTED SMELLING A FUEL ODOR THE WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING, I IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED THE CHEVROLET DEALER ABOUT THE ODOR, THE DEALER DID INFORM ME THAT A TSB WAS ON GM DEALER WORLD IN REGARDS TO THE FUEL RAILS POSSIBLY COMING LOOSE CAUSING A FUEL ODOR / HESITATION. AFTER CAREFUL EXAMINATION OF THE VEHICLE THERE WAS NO VISIBLE FUEL LIQUID PRESENT ON THE ENGINE OR GROUND BELOW THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE SAT PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY FOR MAJORITY OF THE DAY, UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT TO THE DEALER THREE MINUTES AFTER THE VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAMES IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, USING A GARDEN HOSE WHILE CALLING 911 THE VEHICLE BECAME FULLY INVOLVED IN THE ENGINE BAY SPREADING INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. ONCE WATER CONTACTED THE ENGINE BAY THE FIRE FURTHER SPREAD INDICATING THE FIRE WAS CHEMICALLY BASED. THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE VEHICLE USING A FOAM WATER MIXTURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS BY INSURANCE, I CONTACTED GM CUSTOMER SUPPORT ONLY TO BE STONEWALLED BY THE AGENT. I HAD OVER 10000 DOLLARS IN PAYMENTS INVESTED IN THIS VEHICLE. GM SHOULD HAVE STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE NOT THE INSURANCE. NOT A SURPRISE AFTER THE IGNITION SWITCH DISCRETIONS AND DEATHS. GOOGLE CHEVY CRUZE ENGINE FIRES THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!

A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A SPRAINED LEFT WRIST, SPRAINED FINGER, A FRACTURED LEFT COLLAR BONE AND SPRAINED RIGHT ANKLE INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DRIVER IN THE OTHER VEHICLE SUSTAINED A FRACTURED SKULL, FRACTURED JAW, FRACTURED COLLAR BONE, FRACTURED RIBS AND PUNCTURED LUNG INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A IMPOUND LOT. THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE IF THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SERVICE POWER STEERING AND SERVICE VEHICLE STABILITY TRAC WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY, AND THE RADIO FUNCTIONS FAILED INTERMITTENTLY ALSO. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 61,000.
IN OCTOBER 2015, I WAS COMING OUT OF THE CAR WASH AND WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE IT IMMEDIATELY ACCELERATED VERY FAST. I THEN STEPPED ON THE BRAKE, BUT IT WOULD NOT STOP. IT WAS GOING SO FAST THAT I COULD NOT STEER IT. I WENT THROUGH THE PARKING LOT, OVER SPEED BUMPS, OVER A CURB, THROUGH A ROW OF BUSHES AND WENT UP IN THE AIR INSTEAD OF GOING DOWN THE HILL, AND THE CAR DROPPED VERY HARD IN THE TURN LANE OF A 4-LANE HIGHWAY IN FRONT OF THE CAR WASH. THE ONLY DAMAGE I SAW WAS THE FRONT AND REAR TIRE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WERE FLAT AND HAD A HUGE HOLE IN THEM. TIRES.
COLD AIR BLOWS ON WINDSHIELD FROM A/C AND FOGGS UP GLASS WICH OBSTRUCTS VIEW.THE CONTROLS ARE SET PROPERLY BUT DEFROSTER VENT DOES NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY. DEALER SAYS THERE IS NO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM.THIS HAPPENS WHEN STANDING OR DRIVING.
DAUGHTER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY. VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HER USED NO TURN SIGNAL OR BRAKES. DAUGHTER RAN INTO THE BACK. DAMAGE TO CRUZE WAS MINIMAL BUT AIRBAG DID NOT DEFLATE. ONLY MESSAGE CENTER STATING THAT AIRBAG NEEDS TO BE SERVICES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AIRBAG WARNING. DRIVER SEAT BELT ALSO JAMMED AND WILL NOT UNHOOK AFTER ACCIDENT.
CAR RANDOMLY WILL SHUTOFF/JERK AND RESTART, SIMILAR TO TURNING OFF THE KEY AND TURNING IT BACK ON IMMEDIATELY. ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON AND WENT OFF, THE RADIO RESTARTED AND FROZE. VEHICLE LOST POWER ELECTRICALLY AND THE ENGINE SHUTOFF FOR A SPLIT SECOND. VEHICLE HAS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING THAT QUIT, DUE TO LOSS OF VEHICLE POWER. THIS OCCURRED WHILE COMING TO A STOP AT A STOP LIGHT, ALMOST STOPPED.

HEADLIGHTS TURN SIGNAL REFLECTORS ARE BURNING AND MELTING INSIDE HEADLIGHT AND WHEN COOL BREAKING OFF AND LANDING IN THE FRONT OF THE HEADLIGHT. BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES.

THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURE CAUSE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V442000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,070.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH, A TRUCK CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL ANDSUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE HEAD, LEFT SIDE RIB, SHOULDER, ELBOW AND LEFT ARM. THE TRUCK DRIVER HAD NOT SUSTAINED ANY INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,500.
OUR 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE WAS HIT BY A CAR THAT WAS TRAVELLING AROUND 40 MPH AND CRASHED STRAIGHT INTO THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WITHOUT BRAKING. BOTH CARS WERE TOTALED AS A RESULT OF THE CRASH BUT NONE OF THE CRUZE'S AIRBAGS DEPLOYED (FRONT OR SIDE). AS A RESULT THE PASSENGER WAS SLAMMED INTO AND PARTIALLY OUT OF THE PASSENGER WINDOW.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOUR TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT OPERATING CORRECTLY AND LOST POWER WHILE BEING DRIVEN OR IDLING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURE WAS THE FIRST THEY HAD SEEN AND A SOLUTION OR REPAIR COULD NOT BE DONE UNTIL THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING COOLANT AND THE MECHANIC DID NOT KNOW IF THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION HAD BEEN EXPOSED TO THE COOLANT. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT A LEAK COULD NOT BE FOUND. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
AT 55MPH I FELT THAT I HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO STOP IN A HURRY. I APPLIED FIRM PRESSURE ON THE BREAKS AND THE BREAKS LOCKED UP. THE CAR BEGAN TO GO INTO A SKIDDING MOTION AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER THE STEERING WHEEL TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, I COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS COLLISION IF I TURNED TO THE RIGHT, BUT BECAUSE I HAD NO STEERING ABILITY I REAR-ENDED THEM FROM MY SKID. THE ABS BRAKING SYSTEM, IT IS SUPPOSE TO HELP ME BY PUMPING THE BRAKES FOR ME, BUT IT DIDN'T. I SUSTAINED A BROKEN LEG WHEN THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AT MY LEG. ON OTHER OCCASIONS, I HAD ALSO EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF POWER WHILE DRIVING..CAR WOULD HESITATE AND THEN POWER AND THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION. BROUGHT IT IN FOR THAT AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000. MY CRUZE DIESEL AROUND 30K MILES, HAD AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHICH RESULTED IN THE DEALERSHIP REPLACING THE RADIO AND OTHER ELECTRICAL NODES. AROUND 40K MILES THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR WENT BAD. NONE OF WHICH WERE COVERED BY THE DEALERSHIP SO I HAD TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF. SINCE 45K MILES, THE CAR HAS RANDOMLY POPPED UP A MESSAGE SAYING THE ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED. I TRAVEL TO LARGE URBAN AREAS AND THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN THE WORST OF SITUATIONS AND I AM LUCKY TO BE ALIVE DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I WAS STOPPED IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE A VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE BACK OF MY CAR AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED NOT ONE OF THE 6 OR EIGHT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED HAVE PHOTOS MY FACE AND NOSE HIT STEERING WHEEL SWOLLEN VERY BAD STILL NOSE SWOLLEN LEFT ARM INJURIED HAVE TO HAVE MRI TO DETERMINE STILL HURTS VERY PAINFUL . I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY NOT ONE AIRBAG CAME OUT MY TRUNK WAS PUSHED INTO MY BACK SEAT BACK WINDOW SHATTERED NO AIRBAG DEPLOYED

DRIVING DOWN A ROAD ON THE FRIDAY MORNING. WHEN A DEER POPPED UP IN FRONT OF ME. I HIT THE DEER ON CRUISE CONTROL GOING 70 MPH; BUT WAS HARD BRAKING TO AVOID THE DEER. THE VEHICLE CLIPPED THE DEER ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR BY THE HOOD. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, MEANING IT WASN'T EVEN A BIG IMPACT. SO I PULLED OVER TO CALL AUTHORITIES WHEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SMOKE. SHORTLY AFTER, ESTIMATED TWO MINUTES, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE BEGIN ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF WHERE THE BATTERY WAS LOCATED. IT COMPLETELY BURNED DOWN THE CAR. NOT SURE HOW HITTING A DEER, WOULD NOT SET OFF THE AIR BAGS AND ALSO START A FIRE. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT WITH NO INJURIES.

DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED IN LIGHT RAIN RESULTED IN A "CARWASH EFFECT" ON MY WINDSHIELD. DROPS DID NOT RUN BUT SPLATTERED IN A MANNER WHICH COMPLETELY OBSCURED VISIBILITY OF THE ROAD. I WAS DRIVING BLIND, REGARDLESS OF WIPER SPEED, IN VERY LIGHT RAIN. IS THERE RESEARCH SHOWING WINDSHIELD ANGLE AS THE CAUSE OF SUCH A PROBLEM? THIS HAS OCCURRED A SECOND TIME IN LIGHT RAIN.
FRONT WINDSHIELD WITH CONDENSATION AND IN PARE THE VISIBILITY. IT ONLY GOES AWAY WITH THE WIPERS AND THE HEATER. THE ANSWER THAT WE GOT FROM GM IS THAT LIVING IN TEXAS , THE HUMIDITY IS THE MAIN FACTOR AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGN. WHILE DRIVING, WE HAD TO PUT THE HEATER AND THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY AT 68MPH WITH NO TRAFFIC ALONGSIDE NOR IN FRONT OF ME THE SUNROOF GLASS SHATTERED VOLUNTARILY CAUSING SMALL SHARDS OF GLASS TO FALL INTO MY FACE AND CLOTHING AS WELL AS OUTSIDE THE TOP OF THE VEHICLE. THE SUN SHADE WAS OPEN AND THE GLASS ON CLOSED ON THE ROOF AND NOT VENTED. THERE WAS NO CHANCE OF ROAD DEBRIS HITTING THE CLOSED SUNROOF NOR WAS THERE AN OVERPASS FROM ANYTHING TO FALL OFF FROM TO MAKE IMPACT. THE GLASS EXPLODED AND SPIDER-WEBBED THE ENTIRE SUNROOF.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,594.
WITHIN A MONTH OF BUYING THIS VEHICLE, THE ORANGE BLINKER REFLECTOR FELL OFF AND WAS JUST SITTING INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT. BECAUSE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY, THE DEALERSHIP FIXED IT. ABOUT TWO MONTHS LETTER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THE OTHER SIDE AND MY CAR WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS IS TO CHANGE OUT THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT. ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT CAN'T JUST BE FIXED. BOTH TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY.

ON APRIL 21 2015, RIGHT REAR BRAKE WAS SQUEALING TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY CLEANED AND ADJUSTED REAR BRAKES. CAR HAD 21804 MILES AT THE TIME. ON MAY 10, 2016 TOOK CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP HAD 559990 MILES THE CAR STARTED TO OVER HEAT. THE WATER PUMP WAS LEAKING AND THEY REPLACED THE PUMP. BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ON MAY 31, 2016 57300 MILES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND CAR HAD A MISS. IT HAD A LEADING VALVE COVER AND INTAKE MANIFOLD.
I TRIED TO PUT MY CAR IN DRIVE, BUT THE ENGINE WOULD REV AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD. THE D ON THE DASHBOARD WOULD JUST BLINK. I HAD TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON TO MAKE IT STOP.

I WAS DRIVING EAST ON THE ROAD. THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SUDDENLY STOPPED AND I WAS UNABLE TO STOP BEFORE HITTING THEM. I DO FEEL I WAS FOLLOWING AT A SAFE DISTANCE BUT FOR SOME REASON THE CAR DID NOT SLOW DOWN OR STOP AS I FEEL IT SHOULD HAVE. THE FRONT END OF THE CAR CRUMPLED THOUGH THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED AND THE ONSTAR CRASH RESPONSE NEVER ACTIVATED. THERE WAS ALSO VERY MINIMAL, IF ANY, DAMAGE TO THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME (POSSIBLY DENTED THE BUMPER). ON A SIDE NOTE, I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 2 MONTHS NOW AND HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT FOR APPROXIMATELY 17 DAYS BECAUSE I HAVE TO KEEP TAKING IT BACK TO THE SHOP TO BE WORKED ON FOR MALFUNCTIONS IN OTHER SYSTEMS OF THE BRAND NEW CAR. I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A MALFUNCTION WITH THE BRAKES SYSTEM OR AIRBAGS AS WELL.
LOOSES POWER WHEN SITTING AT LIGHT, DOESN'T QUITE SHUT OFF, CONSTANT BELT SQUEALING, ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON, TAKEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP ON 3/21/15 BECAUSE THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON, BELT STILL SQUEALING, ENGINE STILL HESITATING AND LOSING POWER. DEALERSHIP REPLACED KNOCK SENSOR AND DRIVE BELT TENSIONER. TAKEN BACK ON APRIL 3, SQUEALING STILL, MAKING A LOUD SOUND WHEN YOU TURN THE CAR OFF, STILL HAVING HESITATION PROBLEMS. DEALERSHIP REPLACED WATER PUMP AND HARMONIC BALANCER. TAKEN BACK AGAIN, STILL HESITATING, DYING DOWN IN POWER STILL, MAKING SOUND WHEN YOU SHUT THE ENGINE OFF STILL. TAKEN BACK AGAIN, REPLACED SEAL IN ENGINE THAT WAS BEING SUCKED INTO INTAKE. STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HESITATION, POWER DYING DOWN AND NO PICK UP OR ACCELERATION.
