WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START MY VEHICLE IT WILL NOT TURN OVER. THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES ON AND OFF. THE DISPLAY THEN READS SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM. SERVICE TIRE MONITORING AND WILL THEN COMPLETELY LOCK UP. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME ROUGHLY 4 TIMES IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE CAR TO START IS WITH A JUMP. THE BATTERY, STARTER AND ALTERNATOR ARE ALL GOOD AND ARE NOT CAUSING THE ISSUE.

I WAS DRIVING ON 65 S AND I LOST ALL POWER TO MY CAR, MY CAR IS HAVING A HARD TIME STARTING. WENT TO HAVE MY STARTER TESTED AND WASNT THAT, IT'S MY BATTERY AND THE CABLES. CAR IS UNSAFE TO BE DRIVING AND ALL CRUZE SHOULD HAVE A RECALL ON THEM. MY BATTERY LIGHT WILL COME ON THEN A MESSAGE WILL POP US SAYING POWER STEERING
THE 2014 CRUZE WILL JUST TURN OFF, OR ROUGH IDLE AND THEN STOP, WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO A RED LIGHT, OR TRYING TO SLOWLY DRIVE THOUGH A LINE FOR A PICK UP WINDOW TO ORDER FOOD OR THE LIKE. THE CAR HAS A ROUGH IDLE ( FEELS LIKE CAR IS JUMPING FORWARD CHUGGING IN A ROUGH IDLE ) AND THEN SHUTS DOWN. IT ALWAYS HAPPENS WHEN CAR IS SLOWLY MOVING. ITS VERY DANGEROUS AND WHEN CARS ARE BEHIND YOU AT A LIGHT ITS VERY SCARY. IT IS HAPPENING MORE AND MORE. THE CAR ONLY DOES THIS WHEN ITS SLOWING DOWN TO STOP AT A LIGHT, OR TRYING TO MOVE THOUGH A SLOW LINE THOUGH A PICK UP WINDOW BUT THERE ARE ALWAYS CARS BEHIND YOU THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON AND IT IS SCARY.
I HAVE A 2014 CHEVY CRUZE (1.4L TURBO). I TURN MY CAR OFF AND IT DOESNT MATTER IF I REMOVE THE KEY OR NOT MY CAR WILL TRY TO START ITSELF. WHEN THIS STARTED MY CAR STARTED RUNNING REALLY BAD. IT IDLES IRREGULAR AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS CAME ON GIVING ME CODES FOR THINGS LIKE FUEL INJECTORS AND 02 CENSORED AND MAP CENSORS ALSO THE MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR. I HAVE REPLACED ALL OF THESE ALONG WITH A CLEAN AIR FILTER AND THE IDLE TENSION PULLEY IT STARTED SQUEAKING. THIS FIXED NONE OF THE ISSUES. CODES ARE STILL COMING UP FOR PARTS THAT'S REPLACED. I'M PAYING ON A VEHICLE THAT'S NOT SAFE TO DRIVE.
THE PAGE PREVIOUS TO THIS ONE WOULD NOT LET MY CHECK EVERY BOX (3 MAX), THE OTHER THINGS I WOULD HAVE CHECKED THAT WERE AFFECTED ARE -LIGHTING -SPEED CONTROL -STEERING -WIPER -TRACTION PICTURES SHOW THESE TWO SIGNALS THAT POP UP "SERVICE STABILITRAK" AND "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL". WHILST IM DRIVING SOME COME THINGS START TO HAPPEN; THE RADIO/ DASH STEREO WILL FLICKER ON AND OFF- ALL NOISE STOPS (ANY MUSIC OR BLINKERS), THE HEATER/ AC WIL STOP BLOWING IF IT IS ON. SOMETIMES WHEN THIS HAPPENS MY POWER STEERING WILL ALSO GO OUT, JERKING THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE IM DRIVING, AND HAPPENS ALOT WHEN IM TURNING (VERY SCARY). THE DASH WILL ALSO FLICKER WITH ABS, BRAKE, TRACTION, LIGHTS. SOME DAYS IT WILL HAPPEN VERY FREQUENTLY ,OTHER DAYS IT WILL ONLY HAPPEN A COUPLE TIMES. I AM UNCERTAIN WHAT I AM DOING THAT IS MAKING IT ACT THIS WAY. WHEN I AM AT A STOPLIGHT, OR DRIVE THRU AND THE SAME THING AS ABOVE HAPPENS MY ENGINE WILL SUDDENLY SHUT OFF WHILE MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTIVATE OUT OF NO WHERE- VERY STARTLING (THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE MY GEAR SHIFT WAS IN PARK AND WHILE IM HOLDING THE BRAKE IN DRIVE). THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES AND WHILE IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS, STATIONARY, IN MOTION, CITY STREET, HIGHWAY, TURNING, GOING STRAIGHT, BRAKING, NONE OF THIS HAS HAPPENED UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO. SOMETIMES WHEN I START MY CAR IN THE MORNING TO WARM I COME BACK OUTSIDE AND THEN ENGINE HAD SHUT ITSELF OFF. THE TRACTION DOES NOT SEEM LIKE IT IS GRIPPING TO THE ROAD VERY WELL, WINTER HAS JUST STARTED, AND I AM SCARED TO DRIVE IT. I AM GOING TO GET IT CHECKED OUT AT A CHEVY DEALERSHIP AS SOON AS I GET THE MONEY. I HAVE JUST NOW HAD THE CAR FOR A YEAR, MYSELF. THANK YOU.
CAR STARTED TO OVERHEAT CAUSED BY WATER PUMP FAILING AT ONLY 67K MILES. FAILING PUMP CAUSED COOLANT LEAK IN CAR WHILE DRIVING.
THE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN FROM ONE STATE TO THE NEXT. IT WAS A TWO IN A HALF HOUR DRIVE. NOT EVEN A HOUR INTO IT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE WE MADE SURE TO CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE WE LEFT HOME. IT WAS FINE. THAN THE AUTO START WOULDN'T WORK. ALLIED ON START AND THEY SAID YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO. BUT I CAN'T. THAN IT STARTED MAKING THIS WEIRD SOUND WHENEVER I DRIVE. I WENT TO AUTOZONE AND THEY SAID THERE'S NOTHING CAUGHT IN IT, IT'S THE ENGINE. NOW WHENEVER I DRIVE AND WAIT AT A RED LIGHT THE CAR STARTS SHAKING A LOT. IT'S RAINING NOW AND I'M SCARED I MY LOSS CONTROL.
WHILE RIDING ON THEE FREEWAY IN GEORGIA YESTERDAY THE DRIVER SIDE WIPER STOPPED. I TURNED THEE WIPERS OFF AND TRIED AGAIN AFTER I PUSHED IT BACK DOWN. AND NOW IT'S STOPPING A QUARTER OF THEE WAY. THIS CAR HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE I PURCHASED IT.
ACCELERATION NOTABLY SLUGGISH, TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP FOR CONCERN 3 YEARS AGO WITH COMPLAINTS AND WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO ISSUES. TOOK CAR BACK TO DEALERSHIP THIS YEAR DUE TO CHECK ENGINE CODE. TURBO ENGINE DEFECTIVE, GOING TO COST $2200 TO REPAIR. UNDER $60,000 MILE POWER TRAIN BUT JUST HIT THE 5 YEAR WARRANTY 2 DAYS PRIOR TO CALLING DEALERSHIP AND GM. DEALERSHIP UNWILLING TO OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DUE TO MISSING PROBLEM DURING ORIGINAL COMPLAINTS 3 YEARS AGO. TOOK CAR TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP, WHICH FOUND ADDITIONAL $2000 IN REPAIRS THAT WOULD NEED TO TAKE PLACE IN ORDER FOR TURBO REPAIR TO BE EFFECTIVE. CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE, WITH LIKELIHOOD IT WOULD BREAK DOWN IN 10 MIN TO MULTIPLE LEAKS AND BROKEN PARTS ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP MISSED AND FAILED TO DISCUSS. CAR NOW COSTS $3400 TO REPAIR , GM ONLY WILLING TO HELP WITH $600. CAR TOO EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR AND TOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE.
"TAKATA RECALL" CATALYTIC CONVERTER NOT WORKING PROPERLY. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOES ON AND OFF NUMEROUS TIMES. WHEN THE LIGHT FIRST CAME ON, THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION HEADING SOUTH BOUND ON HWY 167.
THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD RANDOMLY STICK HALF WAY UP THE WINDSHIELD WHEN TURNED ON, AND ALSO HAPPEN AS SOON AS I WOULD TURN THE CAR ON. WAS DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING IN THE RAIN BECAUSE I COULD NOT SEE WHERE I WAS GOING AND HAD TO PULL OVER MULTIPLE TIMES TO CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD.
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WENT OUT. GOT SO HOT IT BLEW MY HEAD GASKET AS WELL AS HOSES AND CASING FOR WATER RESERVOIR
I AM HAVING THREE TYPES OF ISSUES WITH MY CRUZE IT HAS BEEN POPPING THE TRUNK OPEN AND WHEN I GET TO ABOUT 10 MILES PER HOUR IT MAKES A VERY LOUD SHIFTING SOUND AND MY LATEST IS WHEN I PUT FUEL IN IT THE CAR ACTS LIKE IT DOESN'T WANT TO START BACK UP WHEN I GET IT RUNNING I HAVE TO LET IT SIT TURNED OFF FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTES WHICH IS A PAIN I HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT CHEVY PRODUCTS AND WOULD LIKE TO IN THE FUTURE BUT IF I DON'T GET ANY REPLY TO MY CONCERN I MAY HAVE TO LOOK AT OTHER OPTIONS

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO QUINCY CHEVROLET (2039 WEST JEFFERSON ST, QUINCY, FL), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5538517686. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,000.
TURBO CHARGER VERY UNRELIABLE. GOES OUT EASILY. SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IN CHEVY CRUZE FORUMS OF THEIR TURBO CHARGERS GOING OUT.
THE TURBO CHARGER IS KNOWN FOR GOING OUT. THIS CAN CAUSE LOSS OF POWER- EVEN ON HIGHWAYS. MY TURBO LOST POWER ON THE HIGHWAY, CAUSING MY SPEED TO DROP DOWN TO 50 MPH. I AM IN A LOT OF CHEVY CRUZE FORUMS AND THIS IS THE MAIN COMPLAINT. YOUR SPEED CAN BE NORMAL AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN JUST DROP DOWN TO BARELY ANYTHING. THIS COULD CAUSE SOMEONE TO REAR-END YOU.
CONSTANT ANTI FREEZE LEAKING. REPLACED THE WATER PUMP TWICE, THE COOLANT RESERVOIR, THE THERMOSTAT, FLUSH THE SYSTEM,. I'VE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR A LITTLE OVER OUR YEAR AND HAVE SPENT COUNTLESS AMOUNTS MONEY ON REPAIRS. NO MATTER WHAT I DO KNOW THE PROBLEM IS NEVER SOLVED. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE MAKE AND MODEL.
MY 2014 CRUZE HAS A TURBO IN IT TO MAKE IT "ECO" - I.E., RELY ON TURBO FOR BOOST WHEN MORE POWER IS NEEDED RATHER THAN USING MORE GAS. MY CRUZE ENTERED "LIMP MODE" IN JULY WITH 54,000 MILES ON IT. THE TURBO FAILED TO WORK WHILE MERGING ONTO THE FREEWAY AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. IT WAS SHIFTING INTO 4TH GEAR WITH HIGH RPM TO KEEP FREEWAY SPEED. WHEN DIAG BOX WAS LATER PLUGGED IN, THE CODE CAME BACK AS "P0299" - TURBO UNDERBOOST. I ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE THE SENSOR (CODE CAME BACK) AND SOLENOID (CODE BACK AGAIN) AS THEY CAME UP OFTEN IN RESEARCH WHEN LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION. TURBO WORKED FINE FOR A MONTH AND THEN QUIT AGAIN WITH THE SAME CODE AND MY CAR IN LIMP MODE AGAIN. I FILED A COMPLAINT THROUGH GM AND THEY MANAGED TO GET THE PART THAT WAS BACKORDERED INDEFINITELY DUE TO FACTORY WORKERS BEING ON STRIKE. APPARENTLY, GM CUT THEIR HEALTHCARE OVERNIGHT. I'D STRIKE TOO. THE SERVICE PRINTOUT I RECEIVED AFTER REPLACEMENT STATED THAT THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TURBO: "INSPECTED FOR OIL INTRUSION, NONE FOUND WASTEGATE SOLENOID CONNECTOR MISSING RETAINER - DOES NOT AFFECT FUNCTION. BYPASS VALVE OPENS AND CLOSES WHEN COMMANDED. NO AIR INDUCTION RESTRICTION FOUND. RECOMMEND TURBO FOR FAILED BOOST COTROL TEST" THIS SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A FAULTY PART, AND AN EXPENSIVE ONE AT $1,501.86, THAT I PAID FOR BUT DID NOT BREAK. NOT TO MENTION THE SENSOR AND SOLENOID REPLACED PRIOR. MY CAR IS "FIXED", AND RUNS, BUT THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE IN GENERAL, AND THE TURBO SHOULD BE RECALLED TO PREVENT FUTURE DANGER FOR OTHERS. I ALSO THINK IT'S BS THAT I'VE HAD TO PAY A MONTH'S RENT FOR A PART THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE FAILED AT ONLY 54,000 MILES. I WILL NOT BE KEEPING THIS CAR AND PAYING ANOTHER MONTH'S RENT IN A YEAR. I WILL ALSO NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH ANY GM MANUFACTURER.
STABILTRAK WARNING COMES ON AND MAKES CAR RUN HORRIBLE. HAD TO REPLACE TURBO TWICE NOW ONLY HAS 109,000 MILES. AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON. THE CAR HAS ALWAYS TICKED BAD. CAR ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE FROM A SENSOR. IT MELTED IT IN HALF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE CRASHED INTO AN ABANDONED VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY AT 60 MPH AND SEVERELY DAMAGED THE REAR, LIFTING IT UP ON A BARRIER WALL. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT HAD BRUISES ON HER CHEST, WAIST, AND LEG FROM THE SEAT BELT. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE CUTS ON HER HAND. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE FOR THE INJURIES. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED AS OF YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
HAD STARTED NOTICING THAT WHEN I WOULD START MY CAR MY RADIO WOULD SOMETIMES TAKE A LONG TIME TO COME ON. EVENTUALLY WOKE UP ONE DAY TO START MY CAR AND IT WOULD NOT START. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING BECAUSE THE BATTERY IS NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD. USED MY PORTABLE JUMPER TO CHARGER AND TOOK IT TO GET READ AND IT WAS NOT THE BATTERY. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL DRAIN THAT WAS STILL CHARGING MY BATTERY EVEN AFTER IT WAS TURNED OFF. THE SECOND ISSUE IS WHEN I AM DRIVING AND GO TO GIVE THE CAR GAS AND THE CAR WOULD NOT IMMEDIATELY ACCELERATE CAUSING TO ME TO ALMOST BE HIT TWICE. I HAD TO GIVE IT GAS A SECOND TIME IN ORDER FOR IT TO ACCELERATE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND "STABILIZER", "TRACTION CONTROL", AND A WRENCH ICON ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE PUSHED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED ONE OTHER TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO KELLEY CHEVROLET (5220 VALUE AVE, FORT WAYNE, IN 46805) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,600.
TURBOCHARGER IS FAULTY AND CAUSING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON. CHEVROLET IS TELLING ME I HAVE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE MY CAR FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 2-3 MONTHS BEFORE THE PART WILL BE IN BECAUSE THOUSANDS ARE WAITING ON THIS SAME PART FOR THE SAME MODEL YEAR CAR. I'VE PUT IN A CASE WITH THEM AND THEY SEEM TO BE IN NO HURRY TO GIVE ME ANSWERS ON HOW LONG THIS WILL ACTUALLY TAKE AND WHEN I CAN EXPECT MY CAR TO BE SAFE AGAIN. WITHOUT A LONER CAR, I FEEL VERY UNEASY ABOUT DRIVING MY BROKEN VEHICLE AND THEY ARE ACTING LIKE THIS IS NO BIG DEAL.
DRIVING HOME AT 9PM ON A HIGH SPEED/TRAFFIC HIGHWAY, WE HAD ALL ELECTRICITY/STEERING SUDDENLY GO OUT, THEN WHEN IT CAME BACK ON POPPED UP WITH A "SERVICE STABILITRAK " MESSAGE. LUCKILY, IT CAME BACK ON BEFORE A WRECK BUT SCARED ALL OF US TO PIECES. THE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN AT THE POSTED 70MPH SPEED LIMIT, BUT STARTED TO DECELERATE WHEN POWER WAS LOST. THIS HAPPENED ON 07/08/19. TODAY, 07/11/19 WE HAD TO JUMP THE CAR AND THE TURN SIGNALS NO LONGER DO THE LITTLE "CLICK" NOISE, AND THE DASH SCREEN/BACKUP CAMERA WON'T COME ON, ALTHOUGH THE RADIO STILL SOMEHOW WORKS. ALSO ON LUNCH BREAK TODAY, CAR WAS DEAD, KEY WOULDN'T COME OUT OF THE IGNITION TILL THE CAR WAS JUMP STARTED. AS THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THE CAR, WHY HASN'T IT BEEN RECALLED?
MY CAR LOST POWER AND DOES NOT GET UP TO SPEED AS IT SHOULD
MY CHEVY CRUZE IS VERY UNSAFE. WHILE DRIVING, THE STEREO BEGINS TO SHUT ON AND OFF AND THE DISPLAY STARTS DISPLAYING VARIOUS WARNINGS SUCH AS "SERVICE STABILITRACK". OVER 5 TIMES NOW, WHEN I BEGIN A TURN FROM BEING IDLE, THE SAME OCCURS BUT WITH THE ADDED PROBLEM OF THE WHEEL LOCKING UP AND NOT LETTING ME TURN IT. I HAVE HAD TO STOP ALMOST COMPLETELY WHILE TURNING TO AVOID HITTING SOMETHING HEAD ON WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL GETS LOCKED. PLEASE PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS PROBLEM.
WATER COOLANT OUTLET FAILED
THE CAR STARTED MAKING A WHISTLING NOISE, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND IT ACTS LIKE IT WANTS TO CUT OFF AT STOPS.
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH HOW THE CAR IS COMMUNICATING WITH THE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM, AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I AM SUSPECTING. RANDOMLY, WHEN I TRY TO START THE CAR THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS COME ON, THE RADIO, AND EVERYTHING ELSE EXCEPT THE ENGINE WON'T EVEN CRANK. I'VE HAD THE BASICS CHECKED (BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, STARTER) AND ALL IS WELL. WHILE IT MAY NOT SEEM LIKE A SAFETY ISSUE THE CAR HAS LEFT ME STRANDED MANY TIMES. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS.
RADIO SCREEN LOSES POWER, GOES COMPLETELY BLACK. MUSIC STOPS PLAYING. WARNING LIGHTS ON DASH COME ON. MESSAGE APPEARS ON DASH "SERVICE STABILTRACK" SHUT OFF FOR 1-4 MINUTES, AND THEN CAME BACK ON. LOSS OF POWER STEERING. HAPPENED 7 OR 8 TIMES IN A 30 MINUTE PERIOD.
ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AT ABOUT 107000 MILES. DIAGNOSED AS CODE P0420 CATALYTIC CONVERTER EFFICIENCY LOW. REPLACED WITH AFTERMARKET CATALYTIC CONVERTER MADE BY WALKER, BUT CODE DID NOT CLEAR. CONTACTED GM CUSTOMER CARE, WAS SENT TO ELKINS CHEVROLET. THEY CONFIRMED SAME DIAGNOSIS AND INDICATED AFTERMARKET PARTS DO NOT PERFORM TO CAR'S ULEV SPEC. BUT GM CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER AND HAS BEEN FOR MONTHS. OBVIOUSLY GM HAS AN ISSUE WITH PREMATURE FAILURE OF THIS PART AND DO NOT WANT TO ADMIT IT. I financed my car through drivetime in june 2019 and from the time i got the car i have been having electrical issues. My car has also been in a really bad accident prior to me purchasing it and when i tried to return it. They just kept telling me to go to pep boys because I had a 60 day warranty to fix any issues. I should not have had to take my car to any mechanic if I got it from a dealership. I now have really mad transmissin issues and I havent even had the car for 3 years. I believe this company sold me a lemon and i dont know how to prove it. I dont have the money to fix all the issues.

WHEN I TURNED OFF MY CAR AND THE KEYS WERE IN THE IGNITION MY CAR TRIED TO START ITSELF...IT NOW DOES IT FREQUENTLY

THE CONTACT TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON, WHICH FAILED TO RESET THE STEERING AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE PARKED IN A PARKING LOT. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 85,393.
WE HAVE PUT OVER 3,000 DOLLARS IN THIS CAR AND ONLY HAD IT A YEAR AND HALF. EVERY TIME WE FIX A PROBLEM SOMEONE ELSE IMMEDIATELY GOES WRONG. WE ARE CURRENTLY ON THE 3RD TURBO, REPLACED COILPACK FOR A MISFIRE, REPLACED PLUGS, PVC VALVE AND COVER, DIFFERENT HOES TO THE ENGINE, SENSORS. IT HAS 110,000 MILES ON IT. ITS MY DAILY DRIVE TO WORK AND ITS BEEN BROKE DOWN HALF THE TIME IVE OWNED IT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MAP SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GENESIS CHEVROLET (21800 GRATIOT AVE, EASTPOINTE, MI 48021, (586) 804-7977) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ELECTRICAL CLUSTER, BRAKES, WATER PUMP, NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE, BODY CONTROL MODULE, AND COOLANT LEAK NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO HAMILTON CHEVROLET (5800 E. 14 MILE RD, WARREN, MI 48092, (586) 838-1537) AND DIAGNOSED WITH A LEAKING ASSEMBLY CAMSHAFT COVER, BELT TENSIONER, AND DRIVE BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,517.
THERE'S A COOLANT PUMP MADE OF PLASTIC THAT HAS CAUSE SERVAL LEAKS AFTER GETTING THIS LEAKED FIX 2X IT CONTINUED TO LEAK AND CAUSED A FAILED HEAD GASKET AND CRACKED HEAD
MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN HAVING ISSUES WHERE IT WILL TAKE EXTRA TIME TO GET IT STARTED UP. WHEN I FINALLY DO GET IT STARTED, WARNING LIGHTS FLASH SAYING POWER STEERING SYSTEM, THE ANTITHEFT STAYS ON, AS WELL AS THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT. I JUST HAD MY CAR SERVICED NOT TOO LONG AGO FOR A COOLANT LEAK ON THE ENGINE HOSE. I HAVE ALWAYS KEPT UP WITH OIL CHANGES AS WELL AS ALL OTHER FLUID LEVELS CHECKED REGULARLY. I FIRST BEGAN THINKING IT WAS THE BATTERY, HOWEVER I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY TESTED AND IT IS STILL BASICALLY NEW.
WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED AND MESSAGES APPEARED ON DASH ABOUT SERVICING AIR BAG AND POWER STEERING. VERY DANGEROUS AS CAR WAS MOVING 45 MPH AND HAD TO MOVE TO SHOULDER. TOWED TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. HAPPENED AGAIN - TOWED IT BACK TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE.
I RECENTLY HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY TURBO BECOMING DEFECTIVE THAT I LATER FOUND OUT THE PART WAS ON A NATIONAL BACK ORDER AND THAT THE MANUFACTURER KNEW THAT IT HAD A MANUFACTURING FLAW CAUSING MULTIPLE TURBOS TO BECOME DEFECTIVE. THIS IS A COSTLY PART TO REPLACE AND WITH IT BEING ON A NATIONAL BACK ORDER HAS CAUSED A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE THAT HAS ALSO TRIGGERED MULTIPLE PARTS TO GO OUT LIKE MY IGNITION COIL AS WELL AS MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER THIS HAS ALSO CAUSED MY CAR TO OVERHEAT. AS OF RIGHT NOW THERE IS STILL NO NEWS ON WHEN THIS PART IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE, WE ARE ONLY TOLD THAT THE PART IS BEING REMADE TO SUSTAIN THE STRESS OF THE EXTRA WORK THAT WAS NOT ORIGINALLY PLANNED FOR OUR ORIGINAL PART TO SUSTAIN.
I WAS CHECKING A LOT OF THE STATS ONLINE FOR THE 2014 CHEVY CRUZE AND THERE WERE ALREADY REPORTS OUT SAFETY REPORTS THAT THERE WERE SOME ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLES IGNITION AND POWER STEERING AND THERE WERE NUMBERS AND CODES AND I'M A BIT UPSET BECAUSE THEY SOLD ME THIS VEHICLE KNOWING THAT THERE WAS SOME THINGS THAT WERE WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE AND THAT COULD HAVE BEEN MY SAFETY AT RISK WHILE I'M DRIVING ON THE ROAD AND THE ENGINE JUST SHUTS DOWN THE WAY IT'S BEEN DOING.

USUALLY I CAN GET UNDER THE HOOD AND WIGGLE SOME WIRES AND THEN THINGS WILL GO BACK TO THE WAY THAT IT WAS BUT LATELY MY CAR HAS BEEN SHUTTING OFF ON ME WHILE I'M DRIVING AND I HAD A SERVICE APPOINTMENT FOR NEXT WEEK TO GO AND SEE A PROFESSIONAL TO GET UNDER THE HOOD TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON I FIGURED IT WAS PROBABLY JUST ANOTHER OIL CHANGE IT IS ABOUT THAT TIME, BUT I WAS ON MY WAY TO A FRIEND'S WEDDING AND I HAD TO STOP AND WHEN I STOP MY CAR DID NOT CUT BACK ON I POP THE HOOD AND WIGGLED SOME WIRES LIKE I USUALLY DO BUT THERE WAS NO ACTIVITY WHATSOEVER UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. I STARTED THINKING TO MYSELF MAYBE I SHOULD PUT SOME OIL IN IT BUT I DON'T WANT TO RUIN MY ENGINE AND I STARTED THINKING MAYBE I NEED SOME ANTIFREEZE BUT AGAIN AND I'M NOT A MECHANIC SO I DON'T WANT TO ASSUME AND THEN DO SOMETHING TO MAKE THINGS A LOT WORSE BUT TODAY MY ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN ON ME AND I HAD TO WAIT IN THE HEAT FOR OVER AN HOUR TO GET A JUMP.
AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY FOLLOWING TOTAL FRONT END BEING CRUSHED, AFTER HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE REAR.
I TOOK MY 2014 CHEVY CRUZE LTZ TO THE CHEVROLET DEALERS IN 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS ABOUT 2 YEARS APART. THE SAME ISSUE PERSISTS. I GET ALL THE ELECTRIC SYSTEMS TO START BLINKING AND TURNING OFF AND ON FOR A MINUTE AND A MESSAGE APPEARS SAYING "SERVICE STABILITY CONTROL". THE POWER STEERING GOES OFF, AND THE BREAKS AND THE CAR KEEPS RUNNING SO IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. IT CAUSED THE CAR BATTERY TO BE DAMAGED BECAUSE THE SULFURIC ACID EVAPORATED AND MADE THE CAR STINK SO MUCH LIKE ROTTEN EGGS. I TOOK IT IT UNDER WARRANTY THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT (I TESTED THE BATTERY INDEPENDENTLY AND IT WAS PERFECT-SO IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR), I TOOK IT AGAIN AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRED AND STILL THEY JUST REPLACED THE (REPLACEMENT) BATTERY AGAIN BUT I MIGHT BE RISKING MY LIFE BY DRIVING THIS CAR WHICH HAS THE "STABILITY" ERROR AT RANDOM TIMES FOR A MINUTE AND THEN IT DISAPPEARS BUT AT THE DEALERS THEY SAY THAT THEY CANNOT TEST IT UNLESS IT HAPPENS IN FRONT OF THEM.
MY BOYFRIEND WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. WE ARE BOTH ON THE CAR, AND THE AIRBAGS DIDNT GO OFF
I WAS HIT BY A TRUCK DRIVING AT LEAST 50MPH. HIS AIR BAGS ALL WENT OFF, MINE DID NOT. I WAS AT A ROLLING START TO DRIVE, HE WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. WITH THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DONE TO THE CAR AND THE FORCE OF THE ACCIDENT IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT GO OFF TO SAVE ME FROM HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL SO HARD.
THE SIDE DETECTION WENT OUT AND THEY FIXED IT THEN I HAD TO HAVE IT CHANGED AGAIN IM GOING TO START A LAW SUIT BECAUSE I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT KEEPS BLOWING OUT IVE TALKED TO A LAWYER AND THEY SAID I HAVE A GOOD CASE
ALL DIGITAL ELECTRONIC MESSAGES WILL SPIN IF YOU TURN KEY WHERE YOU WOULD READ SPEED. MANUAL GAUGES ARE NOT WORKING. CHECK ENGINE, AIR BAG, STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM LIGHTS ALL ON. CAR STARTED FOR LESS THAN 5 SECONDS AND THE SMELL OF EXTREME ELECTRICAL SO BAD.. TURN OFF IMMEDIATELY. LIFT HOOD AND EVERYTHING TOO HOT TOO TOUCH. CAN'T GET HELP FROM ANYONE! THEY SAY NO RECALLS. THE CAR IS A RECALL WHERE. I PURCHASED IT AT, GALLAS CHEVROLET, ALBUQUERQUE NM TOLD ME BEFORE THIS DI NOT DRIVE COULD BE FATAL. BUT WILL NOT PAY FOR A TOW OR DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
