WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD NOT DEPRESS. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER AND BRAKE BOOSTER FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
