THE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE CHROME IS PEELING WHICH SEVERELY CUT MY DAUGHTERS FINGER. *TR
THE FORWARD SPRAG UNIT BROKE WHICH ENDED UP NOT ONLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO COME OUT OF DRIVE WHILE WE WERE DRIVING BUT ALSO CAUSED SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMISSION TO REQUITE AN ENTIRE REBUILD. FAULTY TRANSMISSIONS ARE A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE AND BECAUSE THE COMPANY REFUSES TO BACK THEIR PRODUCTS AND RECALL THE ISSUE, IT ENDS UP BECOMING A HUGE FINANCIAL BURDEN ON A FAMILY. THANKFULLY THERE WAS NO ONE FOLLOWING DIRECTLY BEHIND US WHEN THIS HAPPENED OR IT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE. CHEVROLET NEEDS TO TAKE NOTE AND STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. CONSUMERS HAVE A RIGHT TO EXPECT A QUALITY VEHICLE THAT SHOULD LAST WELL BEYOND 100K MILES WITHOUT REQUIRING THIS KIND OF MAJOR REPAIR. *TR
I NOTICED A CRACK IN MY DASHBOARD ABOUT 5 MONTHS AGO. THIS CRACK IS DIRECTLY BESIDE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG AND IS ABOUT 1-2 INCHES LONG. THE OPPOSITE END OF THE CRACK (NOT CONNECTED TO THE AIRBAG) HAS SPLINTERED OFF INTO MORE THAN JUST ONE CRACK. MY CONCERN IS IF THE AIR BAG IS DEPLOYED, WILL THIS CAUSE SHATTERING AND DEBRIS TO FLY INTO THE FACE OF MY PASSENGERS AND MYSELF? *TR
AFTER FUELING THEIR IS A STRONG SMELL OF GAS UPON START UP THAT LINGERS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, ALSO FALSE CODES POP UP IN DASH DISPLAY. *TR
THE DRIVER SEAT BELT LATCH BROKE SMALL PLASTIC PIECES COULD BE SEEN INSIDE WITH A FLASHLIGHT PREVENTING THE SEAT BELT FROM LATCHING. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME FROM WORK (20 MILES) WITHOUT WEARING A SEATBELT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING IT HE VEHICLE IT SHUTS OFF, ALL OF THE GAUGES GO TO ZERO THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT AND I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCELERATE UNTIL I RESTART THE CAR. THE LIGHTS INSIDE AND OUT GO OFF AND ON . THE DOORS LOCK AND UNLOCK CONTINUOUSLY,. IN THE PAST YEAR THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 OR 4 TIMES. *TR
2007 CHEVROLET TAHOE LT, STRONG BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE DRIVER'S DOOR. PARKED VEHICLE, INVESTIGATED PROBLEM, AND INITIALLY COULD NOT DETERMINE A CAUSE. THE NEXT MORNING, ENTERED THE VEHICLE WITH A STRONG ODOR OF BURNT PLASTIC AND LIGHT SMOKE IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. COULD NOT DETERMINE A CAUSE. VEHICLE STARTED UP WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, APPEARED TO BE IN NORMAL RUNNING ORDER, UNTIL I ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. THE ENTIRE DRIVER'S MASTER CONTROL MODULE WAS NOT WORKING. PULLED THE ASSEMBLY APART TO FIND THE POWER CONNECTOR TO THE MODULE HAD SHORTED OUT AND BEGAN TO MELT THE MODULE ITSELF AND THE 6 PIN CONNECTOR, REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF MASTER CONTROL MODULE AND ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS. THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR DID HAVE EVIDENCE OF INCOMPLETE COMBUSTION BUT SNUFFED ITSELF OUT BEFORE IT COULD PROGRESS FURTHER. THE MODULE AND CONNECTOR HAS SOOT - INDICATING COMBUSTION BEGAN TO OCCUR. MILEAGE 120,000+/- *TR
2 EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLES HAVE CAME OFF MULTIPLY TIMES EVEN AFTER BRING TO DEALER CAME OFF AGAIN A YEAR LATER. INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES ARE CHIPPING FOR MY 2007 CHEVROLET LTZ TAHOE. *TR
RIGHT REAR PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE CAME OFF OF DOOR. THIS IS THE SECOND ONE TO BE REPLACED ON THIS VEHICLE WITH AROUND 52,000 MILES. *TR
THE DASHBOARD IS CRACKED IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. *TR
EVERY THING ELECTRICAL GOES CRAZY EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE,CHECK ENGINE,SERVICE TRA, AIR CONDITIONING, SEATS,BRAND NEW BATTERY DRAINS AND MORE
THE DISPLAY CLUSTER IN DASH HAS QUIT WORKING, DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER IS COMPLETELY OUT AND THE PRND IS BARELY VISIBLE. SEEMS TO BE A COMMON OCCURRENCE ON 2007 YEAR MODEL CHEVROLET TAHOES. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE DASHBOARD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.

DASH CRACKED AT CORNER OF WHERE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS LOCATED, AND JUST RECENTLY THE DASH HAS CRACKED ABOVE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. MY FEAR IS THAT IN THE EVENT THAT THE AIR BAGS ARE DEPLOYED THE AIR BAG ITSELF MIGHT BE PUNCTURED OR BODILY INJURY CAUSED DUE TO SHARDS OF PLASTIC BEING PROJECTED INTO THE AIR. I HAVE OWNED NUMEROUS VEHICLES AND HAVE NEVER HAD A DASH TO CRACK (I HAVE LIVED IN TEXAS MY ENTIRE LIFE) CAN'T BLAME IT ON THE TEXAS HEAT OR USE OF ARMOUR ALL TYPE CLEANERS. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFECTIVE PART. MY SUV IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION EXCEPT FOR THE DASH CRACKS. *TR
I RECENTLY EXPERIENCED A KNOWN ELECTRICAL ISSUE FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY. I JUST HAD MY TAHOE AT THE DEALER LAST WEEK FOR STRANGE CLACKING NOISE UNDER THE HOOD. THEY STATED I WOULD JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL IT DID IT AGAIN. YESTERDAY EVERYTHING WENT HAYWIRE AND MY TAHOE APPEARED POSSESSED. DOOR LOCKS, GEARING SHIFTING WAS AFFECTED MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AND STEER DUE TO LOSS OF POWER STEERING, WHICH COULD HAVE CAUSED SERIOUS RISK TO OTHERS AROUND ME AND MY TWO CHILDREN IN THE CAR. TURNING TO THE INTERNET AND FINDING THAT I AM ONE OF WHAT IS PROBABLY THOUSANDS COMPLAINING OF THE SAME ISSUE MAKES MY EXTREMELY CONCERNED THAT GM IS NOT LOOKING OUT FOR ITS CURRENT AND FUTURE CUSTOMERS. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, NTSB AND NOW WITH THE STATE OF NC IMMEDIATELY. NOT ONLY HAVE WE DEALT WITH THIS ISSUE. WE HAVE LONG DEALT WITH THE OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE THAT GM CONTINUES TO SAY IS "NORMAL" CONSUMPTION. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN GM AND HOW THEY ARE HANDLING MAJOR COMPONENT ISSUES. MY 2007 CHEVY TAHOE LTZ HAS DEVELOPED CRACKS IN THE DASHBOARD ON THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE. THE PASSENGER SIDE CRACK IS NEAR THE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT SPACE AND THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG RUNS FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE DASH. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE AIRBAG HAVING DIFFICULTY DEPLOYING IN AN ACCIDENT OR PIECES OF THE DASHBOARD BREAKING AWAY IN IT'S CURRENT STATE THAT MAY TURN INTO PROJECTILES. *TR
THERE ARE DASHBOARD CRACKS IN MY 2007 CHEVY TAHOE. ONE OF THE CRACKS IS 2? LONG, NEAR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. I HAVE DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THIS PROBLEM TO SEE IF ITS AN ANOMALY. IT ISN'T. I AM A MEMBER OF A FACEBOOK GROUP WHO CURRENTLY HAS 250 MEMBERS AND HAVE THE EXACT SAME DEFECT. IT APPEARS THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THE CRACKS ARE IN THE SAME LOCATION AMONG HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF CONSUMERS. I AM WORRIED THE CRACK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE DASH IS A HAZARD IF THE AIR BAG IS DEPLOYED. I CAN IMAGINE SHARDS OF PLASTIC CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY TO THE PASSENGER. THE COST TO REPLACE THE DASH IS BETWEEN $1,000-$1,500. THERE ARE MEMBERS OF THE FACEBOOK GROUP WHO HAVE HAD 3 DASHES REPLACED BECAUSE GM REFUSES TO FIX THE DEFECT. WENT TO DINNER AND DROVE HOME WITH NO INDICATION OF ANY PROBLEMS. PULLED UP TO A STOP SIGN, STOPPED AND BEGAN TO DRIVE FORWARD. SUDDENLY WE HEARD A LOUD BANG, THE RPM'S RACED TO 4K AND THE VEHICLE WAS STUCK SITTING AT THE STOP SIGN. NO DRIVE, OR 3RD. WE WERE ABLE TO MOVE IT IN REVERSE AND SLIGHTLY IN 2ND BUT HAD TO STRAIN UP HILL TO GET OUR CAR AND KIDS HOME IN THE DARK IN 1ST GEAR. GOT HOME AND CHECKED MY TRANSMISSION FLUID BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN FLUSHED 14K MILES AGO AND I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS A PROPER AMOUNT OF FLUID IN THE TRANSMISSION NOT CAUSING THIS ISSUE. TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS PINK, CLEAN AND MEASURED WHERE IT SHOULD ON THE DIPSTICK. I RESEARCHED TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS ON THE INTERNET IN WHICH PEOPLE HAD THE SAME NO FORWARD MOVEMENT IN 3 OR 4 BUT 1, 2 AND REV. OK. FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING WITH THE 4L60E TRANSMISSION THAT GM HAS PRODUCED DUE TO A FAULTY FORWARD SPRAG COMPONENT THAT WAS BUILT WITH CHEAP STAMPED METAL AND THEY RELEASED A TSB PERTAINING TO AN UPDATED COMPONENT! I DO NOT TOW ANYTHING WITH TAHOE AND HAVE MADE IT TO 113K MILES ON MY TRANSMISSION. IM BEING CHALLENGED TO PROVIDE RECORDS OF MY TRANSMISSION SERVICE BEING DONE. I HAVE WORKED FOR A CAR DEALER AS A SERVICE ADVISOR FOR 10+ YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS PURCHASED ALL OF MY PARTS FROM A GM DEALER TO ENSURE MY VEHICLE WOULD RUN AND DRIVE PROPERLY. I AM FORTUNATE ENOUGH THOUGH TO NOT HAVE TO PAY THE DEALERSHIP LABOR RATE AS I HAVE ONE OF MY TECHNICIAN TO PERFORM MY SERVICES REGULARLY. I JUST PURCHASED FLUID FROM OUR GM DEALER AND HAD A COMPLETE TRANS FLUSH AT 100K MILES LIKE RECOMMENDED BY GM. IT HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE 2008 AND VEHICLES AFFECTED BY THIS CAUSING A TSB RELEASE WERE NOT DUE FOR TRANS SERVICE YET! IT IS EVIDENT THAT THIS PROBLEM IS NOT DUE TO LACK OF MAINTENANCE BUT FROM POOR QUALITY PARTS THAT GM CLAIMS ARE BUILT TO LAST! JUNK! *TR
TAMARA RECALL CRACKED DASH CAUSING POTENTIAL SHARDS IF AIRBAG DEPLOYED. COMMON PROBLEM WITH TAHOE AND OTHER GM BRANDS
THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER'S SIDE FRONT BOTH BROKE OFF. ALSO, THE CHROME ON THE INSIDE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S FRONT IS CRACKING OFF THE DOOR HANDLES AND I SLICED MY LEFT HAND PRETTY BADLY. CONSIDERING THIS IS A $55,000+ VEHICLE AND THERE APPEARS TO BE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME THING, THERE SHOULD BE SOME SORT OF RECALL. *TR

EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. QUART OF OIL EVERY 1000 MILES. THE ENGINE, SPARK PLUGS, INTAKE MANIFOLD, AND SENSORS ARE ALL AFFECTED.
MYSELF AND A FRIEND WERE DRIVING ON THE I75 TO CINCINNATTI, OHIO AND MY TRUCK WAS FINE, NO ISSUES, NO PROBLEMS, AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN HALFWAY THERE THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION SIGNS AND MAJORITY OF THE VEHICLES THAT WERE DRIVING IN THE RIGHT LANE HAD TO HURRY UP AND SWITCH LANES, IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING OVER MYSELF AN OTHERS HIT THIS POTHOLE THAT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANES THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY BEING WORKED ON ,BUT THERE WERE NO CONES OR ANYTHING AROUND IT. AS SOON AS I HIT IT AND WAS TRYING TO GET OVER MY STABILITRAK AND TRACTION LIGHT CAME ON AND MY TRUCK STARTED JERKING REAL BAD, BY THE TIME I ACTUALLY MADE IT TO WHERE I WAS GOING MY ENGINE LIGHT HAD CAME ON TOO AND MY TRUCK WAS ACTING LIKE IT WAS GOING TO CUT OFF , IT STARTED SMOKING AND I STOPPED BY A GAS STATION AND PEOPLE THERE TRIED TO HELP ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS BEST FOR ME TO TRY TO MAKE IT HOME WHICH IS XENIA, OHIO OR I WAS GOING TO GET STUCK IN CINCINNATTI. IT TOOK A COUPLE DAYS FOR ME TO ACTUALLY GET IT IN THE SHOP WHICH IS LANG'S CHEVROLET IN BEVERCREEK, OHIO AND WHEN I TOOK IT THERE NONE OF THE BODY SHOP MEN KNEW WHAT IT WAS, THEN BECAUSE OF THAT THEY SAID WE CAN TAKE THE ENGINE APART BUT YOUR GOING TO BE CHARGED $1500.00 AND IF IT'S NOT THAT THEN I WILL BE CHARGED FOR THEM TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND WHATEVER I WANT THEM TO DO. NOW BEING THAT YOU ARE A CERTIFIED AUTO MECHANIC ISNT IT YOUR JOB TO KNOW WHAT IT IS? I'M BRINGING MY TRUCK BACK TO WHERE I PAYED CASH FOR IT AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS. TO ME THAT IS CRAZY AND I'M STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUES I'M HAVING WITH IT BEFORE. I'VE TOOK IT TO SEVERAL BODY SHOPS AND HAVE PAYED MONEY TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT FOR SOMETHING THAT IT WASNT AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHATS WRONG. SO I FEEL THAT CHEVROLET HAS FAILED ME AND SO HAS GM SINCE THEY OWN THEM NOW. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH IT THEN WHY SELL THEM? EVERYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM IS BEING IGNORED AND ITS SAD. *JS
MY CHEVY TAHOE HAS HAD AN OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE SINCE PURCHASE IN 2007. THE OIL LIGHT WILL COME ON AFTER 2500 MILES AFTER A RECENT SERVICE AND STATED THAT THE LEVEL IS LOW. TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY CONTINUE TO STATE IT IS "NORMAL" OIL CONSUMPTION. THIS IS NOT NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY GM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
MY DAUGHTER WHO IS SIX YEARS WAS ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WHEN THE HANDLE CAME OFF THE BODY OF THE CAR. *TR
VEHICLE DASHBOARD BEGAN CRACKING ON PASSENGER SIDE BETWEEN DEFROST VENT AND PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG. THEN IT CRACKED ABOVE THE GAUGES ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, WHICH NOW HAS STARTED RUNNING TOWARD DRIVER. MY CONCERN IS THAT THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD WILL SHATTER IF EITHER OF THE AIR BAGS EXPLODE. THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE AMONG 2007 GM TAHOES, SUBURBANS AND YUKONS. THE LOCAL DEALER WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS AFFECTING VAST NUMBERS OF VEHICLES. *TR
MY IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED SUV HAS MULTIPLE CRACKS IN THE DASH THAT I BELIEVE IF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOY WILL CASH SERIOUS BODILY HARM. I AM CONTINUALLY FINDING PIECES ON THE DASH ON MY FLOORBOARD NEAR THE GAS PEDALS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AND FAR FORWARD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. AND RECENTLY WITH THE CRACKS GETTING WORSE I HAVE NOTICED THE BROKEN PIECES ARE STARTING TO FLAP AROUND WITH THE FORCED AIR COMING THROUGH THE VENTS.
PASS TAKATA AIR BAG RECALL WITH NO PART AVAILABILITY AND MULTIPLE CRACKS IN MY DASH
MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER WERE COMING HOME FROM A 15 HOUR TRIP TO OKLAHOMA WHEN THE STABILITY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND THEN WENT OFF. THE NEXT THING THAT CAME ON WAS SERVICE STABILITY TRACTION CONTROL, THE VEHICLE DIDN'T LOSE POWER AND THEY DROVE ON TO A GAS STATION FOR FUEL AND RESTROOM BREAK. WHEN SHE GOT BACK IN THE CAR SHE TURNED THE KEY AND THE VEHICLE JUST KEPT TRYING TO CRANK ITSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE WHOLE TIME THIS WAS GOING ON THE ENGINE WAS SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND AFTER 15 MINUTES OF TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE SHE GAVE UP AND CALLED SOMEONE TO DRIVE 2 HOURS PICK HER AND MY DAUGHTER UP SO THEY COULD GET HOME. THE NEXT MORNING I WENT TO GET THE VEHICLE AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP WITH NO PROBLEMS. BUT AFTER SOME RESEARCH ON THIS ISSUE HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM AND GM AND THE DEALERS HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW TO FIX IT. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT GM HASN'T RECALLED THE VEHICLES AS THIS IS A DEADLY SAFETY ISSUE AND I AM NOW AFRAID TO LET MY WIFE DRIVE THE VEHICLE. BUT HOW CAN GM GO ON KNOWING THAT THIS IS A ISSUE WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY TURN INTO LAWSUITS WHEN SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED DUE TO THIS DEFECT. *TR
CRACKING DASHBOARD, UPPER AND AIRBAG COVERS.
I AM MAKING A COMPLAINT ON 2007 TAHOE. I HAVE HAD THE TAHOE SINCE 2010 AND I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE DASH EVER SINCE. I HAVE HAD A REPLACEMENT DASH INSTALLED AND TWO YEARS LATER IT CRACKED AGAIN. THIS TIME IT IS MUCH WORSE. I HAVE CRACKS ALL OVER AND EVEN CRACKS THAT BUTT UP TO THE AIRBAG BOX. I THINK THIS IS NOT SAFE SINCE PIECES OF THE DASH COULD FLY OFF IF THE AIRBAG IS DEPLOYED AND COULD SERIOUSLY CAUSE MORE DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER. ALSO, THE CRACK COULD INTERFERE WITH THE WAY THAT THE AIRBAG COMES OUT OF THE BOX. THIS COULD CAUSE IMPROPER INFLATION OR EVEN A RIP IN THE AIRBAG. I THINK THAT THIS PART SHOULD BE RECALLED SINCE THOUSANDS OF CHEVY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE SEEN MANY PICTURES OF PEOPLES DASHES THAT HAVE THE SAME CONCERNS. PLEASE REVIEW THESE CASES AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS SIMPLE COSMETIC PIECE COULD HAVE MAJOR AFFECTS.

MY VEHICLE HAVE SEVERAL SEVERE CRACKS IN THE DASHBOARD FROM POOR QUALITY MATERIALS. THIS DEFECT IS CAUSING CONCERN ABOUT THE SAFETY DURING A COLLISION OR AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT FROM SHARP PLASTIC EXPOSED DUE TO THE CRACKS IN THE DASH CUTTING THE AIRBAG OR SHARDS OF PLASTIC BECOMING PROJECTILES POTENTIALLY CAUSING INJURY TO OCCUPANTS. *JS
I OWN A 07 CHEVY TAHOE LT & HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE STABILITRAC SYSTEM SINCE I BOUGHT IT UNDER WARRANTY FROM THE CHEVY DEALER. I WAS LUCKILY IN THE OUTSIDE LANE WHERE I COULD MANEUVER MY VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD WITHOUT GETTING HIT FROM BEHIND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS A DEAD BATTERY AND THE TOW TRUCK JUMPED ME AND IT STARTED JUST FINE SO I REPLACED THE BATTERY THE NEXT DAY. THEN I TRIED TO START IT THE NEXT DAY AND NOTHING ELECTRICAL WOULD TURN ON WHEN I TURNED THE KEY. TOW TRUCK CAME AGAIN TO JUMP ME AND I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BATTERY CABLES RIGHT FROM THE GET GO. THE SERVICE MANAGER HAS BEEN THERE FOR 15 YEARS AND KNEW EXACTLY THE ISSUES I WAS HAVING. THEY REPLACED THE CABLES TO A COST TO ME OF $500!!! HE SAID THAT CHEVY KNOWS IT'S AN ISSUE BUT BECAUSE THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PEOPLE EXPERIENCING IT THEY WON'T DO A RECALL..ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!
