AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY. DEALER ADVISED THE CONSUMER TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIRS, OUT OF FEAR THAT THEY WILL DEPLOY INADVERTENTLY. *AK
SMALL "CLUNKING" NOISE FROM UNDER VEHICLE WHEN SHIFTING FROM PARK TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. "CLUNKING ALSO EVIDENT WHEN SLOWING TO A STOP. ULTIMATE TRANSMISSION FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE ACCELLERATING FROM A STOP. A VERY LOUD "CLUNCK" WAS HEARD FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE FOLLOWED BY A LOUD WIRRING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT FROM FIRST GEAR AFTERWARDS UNTIL ABOUT 40 MPH. THE "WIRRING" NOISE CONTINUED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO REVERSE. THE DEALER'S MECHANIC OVERHAULED THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACED THE FOLLOWING "WORN" PARTS: SUN GEAR SHELL, SUN GEAR, 3-4 CLUTCH. VEHICLE HAD 40000 MILES AT TIME OF FAILURE.
DT: ON BLACK TOP WITH NO SHOULDERS, THE EYE WITNESS STATES: GOT CLOSE TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER AND OVER CORRECTED AND WENT OFF THE LEFT SHOULDER, THE VEHICLE FLIPPED AND WENT INTO A STEEP DITCH AND ROLLED ABOUT 5 TIMES, CAME DOWN ON DRIVERS SIDE REAR TAIL LIGHT FIRST TIME, WHEN STOPPED ROLLING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. CONSUMER WAS HANGING BY THE SEAT BELT. THE LAP BELT HELD BUT SHOULDER HARNESS DID NOT. THE CONSUMER HIT MULTIPLE THINGS INSIDE THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER SUFFERED SEVERAL INJURIES. *NM
2002 CHEVROLETTRAILBLAZER - AUTOMOBILE RAN OUT OF GAS WHILE FUEL GAUGE STILL READ 1/4 TANK, NO LOW FUEL WARNINGS CAME ON. CAR SHUT DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC, AUTOMATIC STEERING CONTROLL DISABLED AND ATOMATIC BRAKES DISABLED. NEAR ACCIDENT SITUATION, COASTED AUTOMOBILE OFF TO SIDE OF ROAD. NO INJURIES.*AK
WE BOUGHT A NEW 2002 TRAILBLAZER. NEVER USED THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE UNTIL IT HAD 39,000 MILES ON IT. AT THAT TIME, FOUND OUT WE WOULD NEED TO REPLACE A TRANSMISSION MODULE. THIS WAS REPLACE ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO.*AK MY WIFE WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN TWO WHEEL DRIVE. WITHOUT WARNING, SHE FELT THE VEHICLE LOSE POWER AND SLOW DOWN. SHE GLANCED DOWN AT THE ELECTRONIC SWITCH INDICATOR FOR DRIVE CONDITION. THE INDICATOR LIGHT WAS FLICKERING BETWEEN FOUR WHEEL HI AND FOUR WHEEL LO. IF THERE HAD BEEN OTHER TRAFFIC AROUND, IT COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT SINCE SHE SLOWED DOWN UNDER 40 MPH DURING THIS ORDEAL. I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND WAS STOPPED WAITING TO MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN. THE DRIVE INDICATOR, WITHOUT WARNING, STARTED TO SWITCH BETWEEN TWO WHEEL DRIVE, FOUR WHEEL DRIVE HI AND FOUR WHEEL DRIVE LOW. I DIDN'T MOVE. AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS, THE LIGHTS STOPPED FLASHING AND THE TWO WHEEL DRIVE INDICATOR LAMP WAS ON. I PROCEEDED TO MAKE THE TURN. THE DEALER (GLENWAY CHEVROLET, CINCINNATI, OH) FINDS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THEIR SUGGESTION: WE START TO REPLACE PARTS, AT OUR COST.
WHEN MAKING A TURN A SCRAPPING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE FRONT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT BOTH FRONT ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO SEVERE CORROSION. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED.*AK
PURCHASED VEHICLE 6 MONTHS AGO FROM A DEALER. IT HAD 54,OOO MILES ON IT AND IT NOW HAS AROUND 60,000 MILES.MY HISBAND NOTICED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY AT TIMES, WE MENTIONED IT TO DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION ON OUR WAY BACK FROM TOWN ONE DAY AND BEFORE THE DAY WAS OVER AND WE COULD GET BACK HOME WE HAD LOST ALL BUT 1ST AND 2ND GEARS, TOOK TO OUR MECHANIC AND TRANSMISSION HAS TO BE REPLACED ON THIS VEHICLE WITH ONLY 60,OOO MILES ON IT. OF COURSE THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED, AND NOW WE ARE STUCK WITH REPAIRING A VEHICLE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE THIS.*AK
2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE.*MR THE LIGHT ON THE SWITCH DID LIGHT SIGNIFYING WHETHER 2WD, 4WDH OR 4WDL WAS OPERATING. THE TRANSFER CASE DID NOT SWITCH OUT OF 2WD INTO ANY OTHER OPERATING MODES. *JB
I HAVE HAD THE RIGHT FRONT HEADLIGHT REPLACED ON MY 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER ON 2 SEPARATE OCCASIONS BECAUSE THE BULB BURNED OUT. IT RECENTLY BURNED OUT AGAIN AND I WENT TO HAVE THE BULB REPLACED AGAIN ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE ENTIRE SOCKET HAD BURNED OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED . I QUESTIONED THE TECHNICIAN ABOUT THIS BUT HE HAD NO CONCRETE ANSWER AS TO WHY THE SOCKET WOULD BURN OUT. HE SPECULATED THAT PERHAPS THE BULB (WHICH THEY HAD REPLACED TWICE) HAD NOT BEEN PUT IN SECURELY OR IT HAD BEEN LOOSENED DURING NORMAL DRIVING. I AM UPSET BECAUSE THIS BURNED OUT SOCKET ENDING UP COSTING $65.00 TO REPLACE. HAD THEY DONE THIS DURING ONE OF THE OTHER INSTANCES, MY WARRANTY WOULD HAVE COVERED THIS. I THINK THIS PROBLEM IS A DEFECT BECAUSE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED MANY TRAILBLAZERS ON THE STREET WITH ONE OF THE HEADLIGHTS NOT OPERATING. *AK
THE CONSUMER'S 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER CAUGHT ON FIRE TWO HOURS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED. *NM THE CONSUMER HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE BUTTONS BEING HOT. THE FIRE STARTED IN THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THAT THERE WAS A WIRING PROBLEM IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHERE THE CRUISE CONTROL, RADIO AND OTHER BUTTONS WERE. *SC
IT HAS THE "MEMORY" MIRROR OPTION WHICH INCLUDES FEATURING MEMORY SET OPTIONS FOR DRIVER 1 AND DRIVER 2, AS WELL AS REARVIEW CURB ASSISTANCE (THE MIRRORS WILL TILT DOWN TO YOUR SETTING TO HELP PARALLEL PARK WHEN IN REVERSE).THE MIRRORS QUIT HOLDING THEIR MEMORY, CAUSING ME ONCE AGAIN TO HAVE TO RESET THE MIRRORS EVERY TIME I GOT IN THE CAR. ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, I THOUGHT MY MIRRORS WERE RESET, AND THEN I WOULD LOOK TO CHANGE LANES AND FIND MY MIRROR TILTED UP TOWARDS THE SKY OR SOME ERRATIC PLACE. NOT TO MENTION THE SAFETY ISSUE, BUT IT HAS BEEN AN EXTREME ANNOYANCE. WENT TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY "RESET" THE MIRRORS, BUT THEY DON'T KNOW THE CAUSE. *TR
2002 TRAIL BLAZER TRANSMISSION WASN'T CHANGING GEARS, WOULDN'T GO OVER 30 MPH ,SOUNDED LIKE AN AIRPLANE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT WITHOUT A VEHICLE UNTIL MONDAY SERVICE DEPARTMENT WASN'T OPEN ON WEEKEND DEALERSHIP INSTALLED PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID ON VALVE BODY, FILTER AND PAN GASKET AND REPLACED COOLING FAN CLUTCH WITH A COST OF $961.78 MILEAGE 61,024. *AK
2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER CAUGHT ON FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. *MR WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE, SUBSEQUENTLY SMOKE AND FLAMES HAD COME FROM THE HOOD WHICH WAS CAUSED BY THE DEFECTIVE MOTOR. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE COST. *SC *JB

THE BOND THAT ATTACH MY REAR GLASS TO MY HATCH DOOR HAVE LOOSEN DUE TO DEFAULT DEALER CLAIM UNABLE TO FIX NEED REPLACING WITH NEW GLASS. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A FACTORY MALFUNCTION.

ENGINE COOLING FAN CLUTCH STUCK ENGAGED, CAUSING ENGINE SERVICE LIGHT TO COME ON. DEALER(MORITZ CHEVY) CHARGED $725 FOR REPAIR OF WHICH $400 WAS LABOR.*AK
THE FUEL TANK FILLER NECK DETACHED FROM THE TANK. AS A RESULT, WHEN FILLING THE VEHICLE WITH FUEL IT POURED OUT ONTO THE GROUND. *AK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILER BLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PANEL WAS REPLACED THREE TIMES FOR A RECURRING FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 03V096000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: WIRING: INTERIOR/UNDER DASH). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. FAN CLUTCH FAILED AT 49,000 MILES AFTER INTERMITTENT ROARING SOUND ALMOST FROM DATE OF NEW PURCHASE 6-20-02. REQUIRED REPLACING AT MY $600 COST. *NM
THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT OPERATE, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT. TOOK VEHICLE DEALER FOR REPAIRS TWICE, BUT THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK
2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. WHEN YOU GO TO START THE VEHICLE AND IF THE VEHICLE HAS A DEAD BATTERY, YOU CAN NOT REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. THE IGNITION LOCKS UP AND YOU CAN'T REMOVE THE KEY. I GUESS THIS IS ACTUALLY PART OF THE ANTI-THEFT DEVICES. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE IN THAT IF YOU HAVE TO GO TO SEEK HELP. THE CAR IS UNLOCKED WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION. *NM
WENT OUT IN A.M. TO START VEHICLE AND TURN THE KEY OVER TO HEAR NOTHING AND NO START. NO PRIOR WARNING, TRIED TO JUMP START, NO SUCCESS, TOWED TO CHEVY DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS BAD. *NM
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS IN HIS VEHICLE WERE COMPLETELY INOPERATIVE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE LIGHTS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. IN 2005, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL MADE A CLICKING SOUND AND SPORADICALLY FAILED. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE BRAKE LIGHTS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED AND THE CONTACT PAID TO HAVE IT CORRECTED. IN 2008, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED AGAIN AND COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING IN JANUARY OF 2009. HE SPOKE WITH TWO DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V096000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:INTERIOR/UNDER DASH); THEREFORE, THEY COULD NOT ASSIST. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 170,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 113,000.
FAILURE TO ADDQUETALY REPAIR RECALL STOP LIGHT SYSTEM FOR THE TAIL LIGHTS
MY TRANSMISSION WENT IN JANUARY OF 2005. IT IS NOW JULY AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I HAD TO FIGHT WITH THE DEALERSHIP THEN BECAUSE I ONLY HAD THE VEHICLE FOR 4 MONTHS AND I AM FIGHTING WITH THEM AGAIN. IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM. IT WON'T SHIF OUT OF 1ST AND IT WON'T GO IN REVERSE AND THE LOUD NOISE IS HORRIBLE.
WHILE STOPPING AT A LIGHT CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS REAR ENDED AND PUSHED HEAD ON INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, THE DUAL AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. HOWEVER. PASSENGER'S SIDE SEAT BELT DID NOT HOLD. AS A RESULT THE PASSENGER HIT HER HEAD ON THE DASHBOARD. VEHICLE WAS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. *AK
REAR WINDOW OF OUR 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER EXPLODED IN MY GARAGE. THERE WAS NO PRIOR DAMAGE TO THE WINDOW AND THE FAILURE WAS WITHOUT WARNING. VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN GARAGE NIGHT BEFORE AND GARAGE DOOR SHUT WITH NO INCIDENT. UPON ENTERING GARAGE NEXT MORNING, SHATTERED GLASS WAS FOUND ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND REAR WINDOW BLOWN OUT. *AK
THE ABS CHECK LIGHT REMAINS ON, WHICH CONSUMER IS INFORMED BY THE OWNER'S MANUAL THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES MAY NOT OPERATE IF LIGHT IS ON. OWNER WILL CONTACT DEALER FOR REPAIR.
THE VEHICLE LOCKS ITSELF INTO 4-WHEEL LOW, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO GO FROM 45 MILES TO 25 MILES IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. THERE WAS NO WARNING. CONSUMER HAS TAKEN THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER 10 TIMES ALREADY. CONSUMER HAS HAD 2 ACCIDENTS WITH THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE VEHICLE DROPPING INTO 4-WHEEL LOW. ALSO, THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. CONSUMER WAS INJURED.*AK
2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER [XXX]. 4 WHEEL DRIVE MODULE MALFUNCTIONED NOT ALLOWING VEHICLE TO ENGAGE IN 4 WHEEL DRIVE; MODULE WAS REPLACED AT OUR EXPENSE (CAN PROVIDE RECEIPT). WE HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT SAME TYPE VEHICLES HAVE HAD SAME PROBLEM, AND WE WOULD LIKE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. WHILE BRAKING AT 30-35 MPH, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ROLL AND HIT THE REAR BUMPER OF SUV TRUCK AND THE AIR BAGS DID DEPLOY, BUT THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE CRASH, THE CONSUMER RECEIVED INJURY TO THE FACE, BUT REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. *JB
AFTER STARTING MY 2002 4WD TRAILBLAZER (38025 MILES) IT WOULD NOT GO INTO REVERSE. IT WILL GO FORWARD WITH SEVERE DIFFICULTY GETTING OUT OF FIRST GEAR. MECHANIC SAYS TRANSMISSION IS SHOT. I DID NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARANTY BUT I CALLED CHEVEROLET FOR ASSISTANCE TO SEE IF THEY WOULD HELP. CHEVY SAID TO TAKE IT DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS, HAVE THEM FIX IT AND THEN THEY WOULD DECIDE IF THEY WOULD HELP. MY CHEVY DEALER SAID IT WOULD BE AT LEAST $300 TO DIAGNOSE. IF IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION IT WOULD THEN COST $2500 FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND $900 TO PUT IT IN. CHEVY WANTS ME TO DO ALL OF THIS BEFORE THEY WILL DECIDE TO HELP OR NOT, BS. DEALER ALSO TOLD ME THE BEST HE HAD EVER SEEN CHEVY DO FOR SOMEONE THAT WAS OUT OF MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY WAS TO PAY HALF, AND THAT HE SAID IS EXTREMELY RARE.*AK
NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 04V527000 CONCERNING BRAKE LAMP FAILURE. NO PARTS WERE AVAILABLE.*AK......*AK
THE FRONT DOOR CONTROLS ARE INOPERABLE!! NO WINDOWS, NO LOCKS, CAN'T USE MY REMOTE LOCK AND ALARM. THE PART IS $200 AND ONLY AVAILABLE AT A DEALERSHIP. I TRIED TO GET ONE FROM A JUNK YARD, AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NO TRAILBLAZER DOORS BECAUSE OF THIS VERY PROBLEM. I ALSO CALLED SEVERAL DEALERSHIPS IN THE AREA, AND THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM ALSO, AND DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT HASN'T BEEN RECALLED. EVERYONE WANTS TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, AND I CANNOT AFFORD THE MANY HOURS THEY WANT TO SPEND ON MY 2002 VEHICLE. I HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS (AT $400 EACH JUST FOR PARTS), WHICH I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DO YET!!! DT: CONTACT BOUGHT A 2002 TRAIL BLAZER IN 2004. CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. BRAKE LIGHTS/HEADLIGHTS/ 4-WHEEL SWITCH , AND BLOWER SWITCH WENT OUT. ON 12-720-04 SHE STARTED HAVING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. IT STARTED GRINDING WHEN SHE PUT IN FOURTH GEAR. WHEN SHE TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ,THEY TOLD HER THAT GEARS WERE FAULTY. WHEN SHE PUT VEHICLE IN 4-WHEEL DRIVE, IT BROKE. SHE HAD IT REPAIRED, AND THEN THE HEADLIGHTS WENT OFF BECAUSE THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH BURNED OUT. THEN SHE HAD A NEW ACTUATOR PUT ON IT AND A MONTH LATER, SHE HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER ACTUATOR PUT IN. ON 7-20-05 WHILE DRIVING, THE 4-WHEEL DRIVE SWITCH CAME ON, AND WAS SWITCHING BETWEEN 2-WHEEL DRIVE AND 4-WHEEL DRIVE. VEHICLE STOPPED, AND SHE PUT IT IN 4-WHEEL DRIVE. WENT BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO TOLD CONSUMER DIFFERENTIAL FAILED. BEFORE SHE COULD DRIVE HOME THE TRANSFER CASE MODULE WENT OUT. THE NAME OF THE DEALER WHERE SHE HAS BEEN TAKING THE CAR WAS GILLELANDS AT 3019 DIVISION STREET, ST. CLOUD, MN 56301.*AK IN ADDITION TO ALL THE VEHICLE'S PROBLEMS, THE SUNROOF WAS BROKEN AND THE SWAY BAR LINKS WERE LOOSE. *TT
2002 TRAIL BLAZER 4-WD BROKE. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME I NEED A NEW TRANSFER CASE MODULE FOR $400.00 ( VEHICLE NOT UNDER WARRANTY) I HAVE USED THE 4WD MAYBE 4 TIMES. NOTICED A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE ON THE WEB WITH SIMILAR 4WD PROBLEMS. CALLED GM AND THEY BASICALLY SAID TOO BAD AND MAYBE THERE WOULD BE A RECALL SOMEDAY IN FUTURE. ALSO, AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP THE "SERVICE 4WD"LIGHT ON THE DASH WAS LIT UP. WAS NOT LIT BEFORE SO I AM NOT SURE HOW LONG IT WAS BROKE- I ONLY NOTICED IT WASNT WORKING WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT 2 WEEKS AGO.*AK
WHEN TURNING ON THE VEHICLE IT ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE TRANSFER CASE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND REPLACED IT TWICE. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ANY SPEED THE REAR WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD TURN ON. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
FAN CLUTCH: TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALER BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS MAKING A VERY LOUD CLINKING NOISE, WHICH IS COMING FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE IN THREE TIMES TO DEALER FOR THIS. PROBLEM. DEALER STATED THAT THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY FAN FAILED. *AK
THE FRONT WINDSHEILD WIPERS ON MY 2002 CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER LT, HAVE A PROBLEM. WHEN THEY ARE SET FOR SLOW SPEED, THEY SKIP (JERK) AT THE SAME SPOT DURING THE WIPE. WHEN SET FOR NORMAL OPERATION, THEY DO NOT SKIP. I'VE CLEANED THE WINDSHEILD, AND REPLACED THE WIPER BLADES, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. I BELIEVE THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE WIPPER MOTOR. THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER I HAVE TO TURN ON THE WIPERS WHEN IT'S RAINING. IT STARTED OVER A YEAR AGO, BUT THE MOST RECENT INCIDENT DATE WAS 11/30/04. HAVE THERE BEEN ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS WITH THIS PROBLEM? *AK
SHARP TURN STEERING LOCKS UP. PASSENGER SEAT BELT GETS TIGHTER AND TIGHTER DOESN'T RELEASE PRESSURE. 4 WHEEL DRIVE NOT WORKING . TAPPING SOUND IN ENGINE. THE ONLY THING THE DEALER HAS DONE IS REPLACE POWER STEERING PUMP AND WITHIN 5 MILES IT WAS NOT WORKING AGAIN. *JB

AUTOMATIC (PROGRAMMABLE) SIDE VIEW (EXTERIOR) MIRRORS DO NOT MAINTAIN THEIR SETTINGS. THEY MUST BE CHANGED EACH TIME THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND SOMETIMES MOVE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS MOVING. DEALER FIRST STATED THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. I TOLD THEM THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE AND TOOK THE SERVICE TECH OUT TO EXPERIENCE THE PROBLEM. HE CLIMBED OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND SAID "GOSH, I DON'T KNOW." I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PROBLEM TO THIS DEALER SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT MY WARRANTY. THE MIRROR ON THE OTHER SIDE WAS REPLACED BECAUSE THE NUT WAS STRIPPED INSIDE THE MIRROR. NOW THAT MY CAR IS AT 34,000 AND THEY TELL ME I'VE OWNED IT FOR 3 YEARS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER THAT MY WARRANTY IS NO LONGER ANY GOOD. I WOULD THINK A PREVIOUS PROBLEM WOULD HAVE OVERRIDDEN THIS. *JB
WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN TRIED TO DRIVE. TRUCK WAS IN DRIVE AND WAS ACTING AS IF IN NEUTRAL. ALMOST WAS HIT BY A TRAILWAY BUS. TRUCK WILL NOT DRIVE IN DRIVE, OR REVERSE. ALOT OF NOISE FROM REAR END AS IF TRUCK IS ABOUT TO FALL APART. ALSO, TRUCK RATTLES WHEN DRIVING 50 MILES AN HOUR. WHILE DRIVING CONSUMER FOUND THAT THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE REAR AXLE DIFFERENTIAL AND AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE DRIVEN. THIS VEHICLE HAD ONE PROBLEM AFTER ANOTHER. HOWEVER, ON NOVEMBER 25, 2004 WHILE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING HEARD A VERY LOUD NOISE. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS TIME IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION TRANSFER CASE MODULE. *AK
