SPEEDOMETER FAILED WAS TOLD IT WAS OVER SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS TO REPAIR SERVICE REPAIRMAN AT MY LOCAL DEALER SAYS THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN ONGOING WITH BOTH THE TRAILBLAZERS BUT ALSO WITH THE TAHOE MODEL. *TR
BOUGHT A 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER FROM A USED CAR DEALERSHIP IN 04/09 AND NOTICED A SMALL PUDDLE OF FLUID ON THE DRIVEWAY. I DID SOME QUICK SEARCHING AND FOUND THAT DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE OIL FILTER SOME OIL COULD PUDDLE UP ON THE "SKID PLATE" UNDER THE TRUCK WHICH CAN DRIP FOR A FEW DAYS AFTER SO I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. LUCKILY I CHECKED THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AFTER MY WIFE MENTIONED THE TRUCK WAS SHIFTING FUNNY. IT WAS 2 QTS LOW AND AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION I NOTICED THE TRANSMISSION COOLING LINES ARE SEVERELY CORRODED AND LEAKING. I DID SOME SEARCHING AND NOTICED A TSB FOR THE ISSUE - PIT-4722. CHEVY SHOULD ISSUE A NOTICE TO THE USERS OF THESE VEHICLES AND OFFER TO REPLACE. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ALL THE OTHER VEHICLES BUT THE TRANSMISSIONS COOLING LINE IS LEAKING RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRAILBLAZERS EXHAUST AND I'M GUESSING THAT IS NOT A VERY SAFE SITUATION. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE IS THE SECOND OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE. IN 2006, THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ACCORDING TO A RECALL FOR THE BRAKE LIGHT SENSOR. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, BOTH OF THE BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED. SHE TOOK HER VEHICLE TO THE DEALER IN JULY OF 2007 AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHT SENSOR BOARD WAS FRIED. SINCE THE REPAIR WAS PREVIOUSLY PERFORMED IN 2006, THE DEALER WILL NOT REPAIR IT AGAIN. THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000.
HAVE OWNED A 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER FOR THREE YEARS WHEN I PURCHASED IT MADE A LOAD FAN NOISE BUT IT WENT AWAY AFTER A FEW FEET NOW IT MAKES THE SOUND ALL THE TIME CHEVY NEEDS TO CALL THEM BACK BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR KILLED WHEN THE FAN EXPLODES IT WILL HAPPEN THE FAN IS PLASTIC AND CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH RPMS CHEVY YOU SHOULD DO THIS BEFORE YOU HAVE A LAW SUIT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND RADIO LIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE STILL OPERATED NORMALLY WITHOUT INTERIOR LIGHTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. GMC STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V096000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:INTERIOR/UNDER DASH), ALTHOUGH THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL. THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT HIS RESIDENCE AND HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 79,000. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE FOUR-WHEEL SHIFT KNOB ON THE DASH FLASHED FROM ALL-WHEEL, FOUR-WHEEL TO LOW-WHEEL DRIVE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT ANY RATE OF SPEED. UPDATED 05/06/09.*JB
THE FAN CLUTCH ON MY 2002 TRAILBLAZER HAVE BEEN ACTING UP AND NOT WORKING PROPERLY FOR QUITE A WHILE. FROM THE INITIAL STARTUP OF THE VEHICLE , UP TO TRAVELING SPEED OF 55 MPH THE LOAD JET NOISE, FAN CLUTCH REVVING CAN BE HEARD. THE REVVING UP, JET NOISE, AND LACK OF POWER FROM THE ENGINE AND NO ACCELERATION WHEN NEEDED. SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON SEVERAL TIME P0495. SEEMS AS THOUGH THE PROBLEM HAS SLOWLY GOT WORSE OVER THE PAST YEAR. FINALLY HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW FAN CLUTCH FROM AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS AND REPLACE THE PART. A SIMPLE 5 MINUTES SEARCH OF THE PROBLEM ON THE INTERNET SHOWED A VERY EYE OPENING RESPONSE FROM SEVERAL HUNDRED OTHER OWNERS OF SIMILAR TRAILBLAZERS WITH SAME EXACT PROBLEM. THE FAN CLUTCH WAS REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE AND THE OLD FAN CLUTCH IS STILL AVAILABLE IF ANYONE NEEDS TO SEE IT. THE LOUD ENGINE REVVING FAN NOISE/LIKE JET ENGINE, USED TO HAPPEN EVERY FEW DAYS, BUT THEN IT BECAME A DAILY PROBLEM , HENCE THE CONCERN TO REPLACE THE PART. I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT, WHERE I WAS TRAVELING AT ABOUT 35 MPH. AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVER SPEED AROUND ME AND CUT ME OFF AND THAN STOMPED ON THIS BRAKES IN FRONT OF ME. DUE TO THAT I SWERVED TO MISS HIM CLIPPING HIS RIGHT BACK LIGHT AD BUMPER WITH MY LEFT HEADLIGHT AND BUMPER. AS I WAS SWERVING I HIT A TREE JUST ABOUT DEAD ON WITH MY AR. THE MAJORITY OF THE IMPACT OCCURRED JUST ABOUT 6 INCHES TO THE LEFT (IF LOOKING AT THE CAR) OF THE CENTER OF THE FRONT OF THE CAR. I HIT THE TREE AT A SPEED OF ABOUT 28-30 MPH. AFTER INITIAL IMPACT I WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL DUE TO UNCONSCIOUS AND FACIAL CONTUSIONS. DURING THE FIRST MOMENTS AFTER THE ACCIDENT, ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS OFFICERS, EMTS AND WITNESSES SAID WAS "I CAN'T BELIEVE THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T GO OFF". IN THE RECENT DAYS AFTER THE ACCIDENT I HAVE HAD SEVERAL MECHANICS AND SUCH APPRAISE THE CAR, THE ONE COMMON THEME THEY ALL SHARE IS THAT THEY SUSPECT THERE MIGHT NOT BE AN AIRBAG WHERE IT BELONGS. 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER - WE HAD THE TRANSMISSION IN OUR 2002 TRAILBLAZER REPLACED IN SEPT OF 2006 BECAUSE THE SUN GEAR FAILED AND RUINED THE TRANSMISSION. THIS TRUCK HAS NOT TOWED ANYTHING. NOW 35000 MILES LATER, THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS IS THE SECOND TRANSMISSION THAT HAD TO GO INTO THIS SUV WITH THE TOWING PACKAGE. WE DON'T TOW ANYTHING AND YET THE TRANSMISSION FAILS FROM HIGHWAY DRIVEN MILES. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY SOME TYPE OF DEFECT AFTER RESEARCHING THE INTERNET, I HAVE FOUND MANY PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I AM TIRED OF WASTING HARD EARNED MONEY TO PAY FOR A MANUFACTURES FAULTY PARTS. THEY EVEN HAVE A SERVICE BULLETIN STATING A POTENTIAL PROBLEM WITH THE PART AND DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I AM TIRED OF PAYING 2200.00 + TO CORRECT THEIR PROBLEMS. WHEN THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AGAIN A FEW DAYS AGO, MY WIFE WAS NEARLY RUN INTO BY THE CAR BEHIND HER. I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION. *TR
I OWN A 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AND I HAVE HAD MY HEADLIGHTS CHECKED BECAUSE NOT ALWAYS BUT ONCE IN A WHILE THEY JUST COMPLETELY TURN OFF SOMETIMES AT NIGHT TIME WHILE DRIVING. I TOOK IT IN TO A REPAIR SHOP AND NOTHING WAS FOUND WRONG WITH IT BUT THE PROBLEM CONTINUES I HAVE TO HAVE HEADLIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS CHANGED LIKE EVERY MONTH OR SO MY TRUCK ONE DAY DIDN'T TURN ON COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT SAT IN MY GARAGE FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS AND EVERYDAY I WOULD TRY TO TURN IT ON BUT NOTHING AFTER THE 3RD DAY WENT AND TRIED AGAIN IT CAME ON WITHOUT A PROBLEM AND IT'S BEEN OKAY JUST THE PROBLEM WITH MY HEADLIGHTS STILL GOING OFF AT NIGHT ONCE IN A WHILE. CHEVY TRAILBLAZER02 MODEL, ABOUT 40K MILES IN 2005 THE CAR DIED ON US 2 TIMES AND WE COULDN'T FIND OUT WHAT WAS THE REASON WE HAD TO ASK FOR JUMP AND IT KEPT GOING ON NORMAL, THEN SUDDENLY AFTER ABOUT A COUPLE MONTH I SAW THAT THE BATTERY WAS LEAKING, AND DAMAGED SOME A/C PIPE LINES UNDER THE BATTERY, HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AND WASH AND CLEAN ALL UNDER AND AROUND THE BATTERY TO REMOVE THE ACID STUFF. AFTER THAT THE TAILGATE WHERE THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT IS, STARTED MAKING NOISES EVERYTIME I OPENED IT, WHEN CHECKED I FOUND THAT THE PART WHERE THE REAR WINDOW IS AFFIXED TO THE TAIL GATE WHERE BROKE AND THE ESCREWS ARE HANGING BY IT SELF WHICH MADE THE REAR WINDOW LOOSE AND STANDING OUT, AND ABOUT A WEEK AGO NOW THAT I HAVE 61K MILES IN 2009 THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT WENT OFF, TOOK IT TO DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THE RECALL ON THOSE LIGHTS AND SO THEY FIXED IT, WHICH WHEN I PICKED UP THE SUV AND DROVE IT WITH THE FAMILY ABOUT 45 MILES TRIP WHEN SUDDENLY IT STARTED BLOWING AIR AND MAKING A STRONG AND DEEP NOISE SOUNDED LIKE A BUS OR 18 WHEELER PASSING BY, WHICH MADE US CANCEL THE TRIP AND GO BACK TO DEALER TO FIND OUT WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY CAR, TAKE A GUESS, I WAS TOLD THAT IT'S COMMON ON THOSE CHEVY'S THE FAN CLUTCH TO GO OUT AND THAT IT REALLY LASTED LONG ON MY CAR AND YES IT'S SOMETHING NORMAL THAT HAPPENS, BUT IT COST ME $950.00 TO REPAIR IT YEAH SURE VERY NORMAL, IT SEEMS LIKE GM PARTS AND LABORS NOW ARE COSTING JUST AS THE GERMAN CARS. SHOULDN'T GM MAKE ALL THOSE ISSUES RECALL IF IT IS KNOWN THAT ARE DEFECTIVE AND ARE HAPPENING TO MOST OF THE CARS . *TR
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND HAD TO STOP SUDDENLY. WHEN THE SEAT BROKE AND WENT TO THE FLOOR ON ONE SIDE. PULLED OVER AND INVESTIGATED AND THE WELD ON THE ARM OF THE SEAT CONTROL WAS IMPROPERLY WELDED. THE WELD ON THE ARM ITS SELF WAS HALF ON THE PLATE AND POPPED LOOSE. IF HAD BEEN GOING AROUND A CURVE WHEN THE SEAT BROKE WOULD PROBABLY CAUSED A WRECK. GOING TO HAVE TO BUY A NEW SEAT AND TRADE THE VEHICLE OFF POSSIBLY. AFRAID MORE WELDS COULD BE MISSING OR NOT DONE PROPERLY. *TR
THE PASSENGER-SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT SOCKET CAUGHT FIRE AND MELTED. THIS SAME SOCKET AND BULB WERE REPLACED DUE TO MELTED CONTACTS ONLY 4 MONTHS AGO. I WAS AWARE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION AS THERE WAS A STRONG BURNT ODOR INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE FUSE FOR THE HEADLIGHT DID NOT BLOW IN EITHER SITUATION. *TR
THE 2002 TRAILBLAZER HAD A RECALL ON THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGE THAT WATER INSIDE THE MOTOR COULD CAUSE. THE CORRECTION WAS PERFORMED BY PLUGGING A HOLE IN THE MOTOR. MY VEHICLE WAS ALSO UNDER A GMPP EXTENDED WARRANTY. SHORTLY LATER, THE WIPERS BEGAN TO MALFUNCTION WHILE ON INTERMITTENT. THEY STUTTER AND SOMETIMES STOP IN MID STROKE, UNLESS ON HIGH SPEED. I RESEARCHED THE INTERNET AND FOUND NUMEROUS SIMILAR COMPLAINTS THAT WERE CAUSED BY WATER DAMAGE THAT HAD OCCURRED. I INQUIRED AT THE DEALER ABOUT CORRECTING AND THEY STATED THAT SINCE THE RECALL HAD BEEN PERFORMED, THEY COULD REPAIR THE UNIT ONLY IF I PAID FOR THE REPAIRS. THE ESTIMATED COST WAS AROUND $350. ADDITIONAL INTERNET RESEARCH INDICATES NUMEROUS OTHER COMPLAINTS THAT HAVE BEEN CORRECTED BY OPENING THE WIPER MOTOR AND CLEANING THE CONTACTS - A RESULT OF WATER DAMAGE, OBVIOUSLY CAUSED EVEN THOUGH THE RECALL. I BELIEVE CHEVROLET SHOULD RECALL THIS VEHICLE AND REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR RATHER THAN PLUG THE HOLE AS THEY DID ORIGINALLY. I ALSO BELIEVE CHEVROLET KNEW THEIR ORIGINAL RECALL (PLUGGING THE HOLE) WOULD NOT LAST AND MOTORS WOULD FAIL AT A LATER TIME. UPDATED 04/12/10
THERE WAS A SMELL OF GAS, SO I TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER AFTER THEY SAID IT SHOULD BE COVERED. THEY FOUND ROTTED FUEL MODULE AND HOSES, REMOVED FUEL TANK FOUND FUEL SENDING UNIT ROTTED,LINES AND HOSES..REPLACED SENDING UNIT LINES AND HOSES. MDLE KIT 3.107 PART# 19206122 ..PIPE 3.163 PART#15174333...PIPE 3.163 PART#15015511...SENSOR 3.107 PART#16238399.. NOW TELL ME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED IF I BROUGHT IT IN EARLIER, I ONLY JUST GOT THE NOTICE TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT , SO HOW COULD I HAVE BROUGHT IT IN EARLIER. *TR

THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT LOCKED AND IT WOULD NOT RELEASE REGARDLESS OF WEATHER THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR THE PASSENGER TO RELEASE THE SEAT BELT WHEN EXITING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 65000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE ENGINE REVVED UP WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. IN ADDITION, THE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE INDICATOR WAS FLASHING INTERMITTENTLY. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ENCODER MOTOR IN THE TRANSFER CASE WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 01V283000 (POWER TRAIN;TRANSFER CASE,4-WHEEL DRIVE). THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,117 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 122,250. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR AND WOULD NOT MOVE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL COVER THAT COVERS THE AIR BAG APPEARED TO BE CRACKING. ON FEBRUARY 11, 2009, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER WILL BE NOTIFIED BECAUSE THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD. THE COOLING FAN CLUTCH IN MY 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HAS GONE BAD. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY OTHER REPORTS ABOUT THIS PART FAILING ON THESE VEHICLES. CAUSES DECREASED POWER, INCREASED RPM'S, AND MAY CAUSE ENGINE DESTRUCTION. *TR
2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT WILL COME ON ALONG WITH THE REDUCED ENGINE POWER LIGHT AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT GO FASTER THAN 40 MPH. SOMETIMES IT WILL NOT GO MORE THAN 20 AND 10 MPH. I'VE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY CLEANED THE THROTTLE AND CHANGED SOME FILTERS AND 2 DAYS LATER....THE SAME LIGHTS COME ON AND THE ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED. THE DEALER DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS SO THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO DO THIS AND HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE CONTROL ARMS IN 2001 THAT AFFECTED THE 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. I PURCHASED MY TRAILBLAZER IN 2002 SO I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY RECALL INFORMATION. MY CONTROL ARMS NEED TO BE REPLACED AND I WANT TO KNOW WHY MY VEHICLE ISN'T COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. *TR
1. BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. HEARD A LOUD POP. 2. REVERSE NO LONGER WORKS, CANT BACK OUT OF PARKING SPACES. WILL NOT SHIFT INTO 2ND OR 4TH GEAR. TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. 3. TRANSMISSION MUST BE REBUILT OR NEW TRANSMISSION INSTALLED. COSTS BETWEEN 1500 AND 3000 DOLLARS. CAR ONLY HAS 67,000 MILES ON IT AND THE TRANSMISSION SHOULD NOT FAIL THIS QUICKLY. *TR
WELL SERVICED 90K MILES. TRAVELING AT 35MPH PUSHED BREAKS ALL THE WAY DOWN (FRACTURING RIGHT ANKLE) SLOWED ME DOWN BUT FAILED TO STOP AT UPCOMING RED LIGHT. STRUCK MEDIUM SIZE VEHICLE INJURING OTHER DRIVER AND CAUSING CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES. CHEVY DEALER COLLISION/SERVICE CENTER ESTIMATED $8K IN REPAIRS. IN OTHER WORDS IT COSTS MORE TO REPAIR IT THAN WHAT THE VEHICLE IS WORTH. ALSO:"MASTER CYLINDER IS BAD" AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CHEVY TECH. SAID "IMPACT WAS NOT BIG ENOUGH" . AFTER READING SOME EIGHT OTHER COMPLAINTS VERY SIMILAR TO THIS . I AM CONCERNED ABOUT DRIVING THIS OR GETTING INTO ANOTHER ONE. IS THERE NOT A BREAK LIGHT SERVICE SENSOR THAT I SHOULD HAVE NOTED.? SERVICE MANUAL FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE SAYS TO CHECK FRONT AND REAR AXLE FLUID AND ADD FLUID AS NEEDED EVERY 5K TO 7K MILES AFTER 67.5K MILES. *TR
I HAVE 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER THAT TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 113,000 MILES. REBUILT AT A COST OF $2,000 BY DEALER. ALSO TRANSFER CASE ELECTRONIC MODULATOR WENT OUT AND REPLACED @ $800 BY SAME DEALER. I KNOW THE TRANSMISSION IS A MAJOR ISSUE AND FELT GM OR THE DEALER SHOULD HELP ON THE REPAIR. DEALER REFUSED AND WOULD NOT REQUEST GM'S HELP. THE OTHER ITEMS I AM SURE ARE RELATED OR REPLACED AT A VERY HIGH RATE. EVIDENCE OF THESE REPAIRS ARE ALL OVER THE INTERNET. MY TRAILBLAZER IS DRIVEN BY MY WIFE TO WORK AND THEY ARE ALL ROAD MILES. THE ELECTRONIC SENSORS AND KEY FOB TO OPEN AND LOCK THE VEHICLE DO NOT WORK, CAUSING SERIOUS PROBLEMS BECAUSE THE REAR TAILGATE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK MANUALLY AND ALL OF THE EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT IS STORED UNDER THE CARPET IN THE TAIL SECTION. MY HEADLIGHT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE IS OUT. AS I WAS DRIVING UP A HILL IN OHIO, MY CAR TRIED TO DOWNSHIFT AND MADE A GRINDING SOUND AND I TEMPORARILY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE CAUSING ME TO SWERVE OFF OF THE ROAD. ON JAN. 21, 2011 , I WAS DRIVING, AND, AFTER STOPPING, THE CAR WAS RUNNING BUT WOULD NOT ENGAGE (MOVE). HAD THE CAR TOWED TO DEALERSHIP. THEY AGAIN REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH AND ANOTHER SWITCH. ON FEB. 11, 2011, I WAS AT A "DRIVE-UP" WINDOW, MY CAR JUST QUIT RUNNING. I HAD TO PUSH IT OFF TO THE SIDE AND HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. THIS TIME THEY AGAIN REPLACED THE "IGNITION SWITCH" ALONG WITH A TRANSFER CASE SWITCH AND A TRANSFER CASE MODULE. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO REPLACE ALL OF THEM SINCE THERE WAS NO WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE IF IT WAS STILL RELATED TO THE "IGNITION SWITCH". I FEEL ALL MY ISSUES WERE RELATE TO THE "IGNITION SWITCH", AND ALL REPAIRS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID BY GM.THEY NEW THEY HAD AN ISSUE, OR THE DEALER WOULD NOT HAVE ASKED ABOUT "EXCESS WEIGHT HANGING ON THE KEY FOB".. I BELIEVE THE "IGNITION SWITCH ISSUE" GOES BACK FARTHER, AND AFFECTS EVEN MORE MODELS, THAN THEY ARE CURRENTLY OWNING UP TO. I STILL HAVE ALL PAPERWORK PERTAINING TO MY REPAIRS. *TR
