I PARKED MY 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER IN MY DRIVEWAY SUNDAY 6/21/2015. I RECEIVED A CALL AN HOUR LATER FROM MY NEIGHBOR THAT MY LIGHTS WAS STILL ON. I ALWAYS HAVE MY LIGHTS SET THAT WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE THEY GO OFF AUTOMATICALLY. TRIED TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS WITH NO LUCK. I SMELLED ELECTRICAL BURNING COMING FROM THE ENGINE AREA. FOUND THE FUSE BOX IN THE ENGINE BAY AND NOTICED THAT THE HDM MODULE #45 WAS COMPLETELY MELTED. WHEN I TOOK THE CAR TO THE AUTO SHOP, NOT ONLY DID THEY FIND THAT THE HDM MODULE #45 WAS MELTED, IT HAD RUINED THE MAIN FUSE CIRCUIT BOARD FROM THE HEAT. LUCKILY THIS HAPPENED DURING THE DAYLIGHT AND NOT AT NIGHT, BECAUSE I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD HEADLIGHTS VERY LONG WITH THIS MODULE BEING MELTED. ALSO THIS COULD HAVE EASILY STARTED A FIRE IN THE ENGINE BAY WITH THE AMOUNT OF HEAT THAT WAS COMING OFF OF THE MELTED HDM MODULE. THIS I BELIEVE IS A SAFETY PROBLEM IN THE TRAILBLAZERS AND SHOULD BE RECALLED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND REQUIRED EXCESSIVE FORCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING LINES WERE CORRODED AND THERE WAS A POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000. MA 09/03/15
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE HEADLIGHTS GO OUT AND THE HIGH BEAMS HAVE TO BE USED IN ORDER TO SEE SAFELY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE THUS CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS BUT OUR CARS VIN NUMBER IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. WHY WOULD OTHER VIN NUMBERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM HAVE A RECALL AND OURS DOES NOT? ISN'T IT JUST AS UNSAFE FOR US AS IT IS FOR THEM? THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS AND NONE OF THE GARAGE MECHANICS CAN SEEM TO FIND THE PROBLEM. WE HAVE BEEN VERY DILIGENT WITH ALL MAINTENANCE ITEMS AND WOULD LIKE TO KEEP OUR CAR SO ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE US WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. WE HAVE NO SPECIFIC DATE THIS STARTED BUT I AM USING THE MIDDLE OF JUNE 2015. THIS SEEMS TO BE HAPPENING MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AS A FAILED HEAD LAMP CONTROL CIRCUIT. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,341.
AFTER LEAVING A MOVIE THEATRE AND UPON ENTERING THE FREEWAY JUNE 13, 2015 AT 12:30AM, IT APPEARED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT ON. I DROVE THE VEHICLE, (WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ON) TO THE FIRST AVAILABLE EXIT TO PULL OVER AND FOUND THE HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT ON AND WOULD NOT COME ON. I TURNED LIGHT SWITCH ON AND OFF, TURNED THE VEHICLE ON AND OFF AND TRIED LIGHT SWITCHES AGAIN - THIS DID NOT RESOLVE PROBLEM. THE HIGH BEAMS WERE STILL WORKING. AFTER LEAVING THE HIGH BEAMS ON FOR A WHILE AND TRYING THE HEADLIGHTS AGAIN, THEY CAME BACK ON. APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS LATER, ON AUGUST 8, 2015 WHILE DRIVING TO THE STORE, THE HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING AGAIN. I PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TRIED THE SWITCH, TRIED TURNING THE CAR ON AND OFF, AGAIN THIS DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. AFTER DRIVING WITH THE HIGH BEAMS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, I TRIED THE HEADLIGHTS AGAIN AND THEY CAME ON. THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED TWO MORE TIMES IN THE SAME WEEK ON AUGUST 11TH AND 12TH, 2015 WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT.
I WAS GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY HEADLIGHTS CUT OFF. I TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND PULLED SOME OF THE FUSES AND PUT THEM BACK IN. THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON LATER. WE CONTINUED DOWN THE ROAD TO OUR DESTINATION AND THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AGAIN. WE ENDED UP HAVING TO GET A HOTEL ROOM FOR THE NIGHT UNTIL WE COULD DRIVE HOME DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS.

THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V755000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 138,000.
I WAS TRYING TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS FOR MY WIFE. THE WINDOWS WOULD NOT ROLL DOWN AT FIRST. I CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WINDOW WAS NOT LOCK AND IT WASN'T. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE WINDOW FINALLY ROLLED. DOWN. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED THE ENGINE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
HEARD A TICKING SOUND IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT CHECKED , FOUND BROKEN BOLT ON RIGHT SIDE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. IT SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH V 8 ENGINES.
FUEL GAUGE READ FULL TANK WHEN IN FACT THE TANK WAS EMPTY. I RAN OUT OF GAS IN MY DRIVEWAY. WHEN THIS OCCURRED MY ON DASH COMPUTER WENT CRAZY LIGHTING UP THEN TURNING OFF, WHEN I PUT GAS IN THE CAR AND RESTARTED SEVERAL TIMES THE COMPUTER SEEMED TO CORRECT ITSELF. FILLING THE TANK THE GAUGE READ EMPTY AND REMAINED THAT WAY FOR SEVERAL DAYS. THE GAUGE OPERATES INTERMITTENTLY. I RECENTLY HAD THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED AFTER FAILURE. THE PUMP WAS REPLACED PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. I HAVE SCHEDULED THE GAUGE REPAIR WITH MY DEALER.
A VEHICLE WAS STOPPED IN FRONT OF ME AND I REAR ENDED THEM. I WAS GOING AROUND 44-55 MPH. AFTER I HIT THE OTHER CAR FROM BEHIND I CROSSED 2 LANES OF TRAFFIC AND WENT THRU A PRETTY DEEP DITCH. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AT ALL. I SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION., SEVERAL HEAD LACERATIONS AND A FRACTURED LUMBAR SPINE.
BURNED TO GROUND, FIRE STARTED FROM UNDER HOOD. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY TRUCK HEADING HOME AND NOTICED THE ROAD LOOKED DARK. I PULLED OVER INTO A PARKING LOT AND REALIZED I HAD NO LOW BEAMS. MY BLINKERS, FOG LIGHTS AND HIGH BEAMS ALL WORKED PROPERLY. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME WITH MY HIGH BEAMS ON, BLINDING OTHER DRIVERS. MY HEADLIGHTS AND DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS HAVE INTERMITTENTLY WENT OUT OFF AND ON (APPROXIMATELY 4 TIMES) OVER THE PAST YEAR. I HAD THE DEALERSHIP LOOK INTO IT THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM. WHEN RESEARCHING WHAT COULD CAUSE BOTH LIGHTS TO FAIL AT THE SAME TIME, I CAME ACROSS THE LATEST RECALL INFO. I CALLED CHEVY AND GAVE THEM MY VIN AND WAS TOLD MY VEHICLE IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL. STRANGE, SINCE I HAVE ALL THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS LISTED IN THE RECALL AND MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY ALL OF THE OTHER RECALLS ON IT SO FAR. *TR
BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME WHILE THE PARKING LIGHTS REMAINED ON. THE HIGH BEAMS WOULD WORK WHEN ACTIVATED. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES BOTH OF THE HEADLIGHTS CAME ON FOR ANOTHER 15 OR SO MINUTES THEN FAILED AGAIN. AGAIN AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES THE LIGHTS CAME ON. THIS HAPPENED AT NIGHT WHICH LIMITED VISIBILITY TO SEE AND BE SEEN. *TR
OUR SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT US HITTING ANYTHING. THERE WAS NO POTHOLE OR ANY CURB OR ANYTHING OBSTRUCTING OUR PATH. WE WERE JUST DRIVING ALONG AND THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED ALL ON THEIR OWN. WHY HAS THE 2007 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER NOT BEEN RECALLED. WE SPENT $8,000 GETTING THE CAR REPAIRED.

THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS WERE ENGAGED IN ORDER TO CONTINUE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 221,000.
I TURNED ON MY CAR AT DUSK AND MY DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WEREN'T ON, AND MY LOWBEAM HEADLAMPS WOULD NOT GO ON EITHER. BLINKERS, BRAKE LIGHTS, AND EVERY OTHER TYPE OF LIGHT WORKED, BUT I WAS UNABLE TO SEE ON MY DRIVE HOME BECAUSE OF THE HEADLAMPS THAT WOULD NOT TURN ON. *TR
I WAS DRIVING HOME ONE NIGHT ABOUT AN HOUR AFTER DARK. AS I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH, MY HEADLIGHTS JUST COMPLETELY WENT OUT WITHOUT WARNING. AFTER CAREFULLY PULLING OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I REALIZED MY HIGH BEAMS WERE STILL WORKING. I LOOKED INTO THIS ISSUE AND REALIZED IT WAS A RELAY 45 AND 46 ISSUE. THE NEXT DAY I REPLACED THIS RELAY AND MY LIGHTS WORKED. FOR A DAY. NOW IT'S BEEN ALMOST A MONTH, AND I CAN'T DRIVE AFTER DARK. I'VE ASKED MY LOCAL GM DEALERSHIP TO LOOK INTO THIS AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A RECALL BUT YET THEY DON'T HAVE A RESOLUTION. BEING I WORK UNTIL THE SUN GOES DOWN, AND I HAVE AN HOUR DRIVE HOME FROM WORK 5-6 DAYS A WEEK, THIS PRESENTS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR ME. IF THIS WERE A SIMPLE WINDOW SWITCH RECALL (WHICH I'VE ALREADY HAD REPLACED) I WOULD BE OK WITH IT FOR NOW. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS A LIGHTING ISSUE WHICH CAN BE AND IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE. I NEED THIS ISSUE RESOLVED IMMIDIATLY AND IF THE DEALERSHIP CAN'T FIX IT, I DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD BE EXPECTED TO. *TR
AFTER PICKING UP MY HUSBAND FROM WORK, WE STOPPED AT A STORE, WHERE I STAYED IN MY CHEVY TRAILBLAZER WHILE HUBBY WENT IN, I HAPPENED TO LOOKOVER AT GAUGES AND NOTICED THE FUEL GAUGE SLOWLY GOING DOWN. WHEN HUBBY CAME OUT OF STORE I HAD HIM CHECK TO SEE IF WE HAD A FUEL LEAK, AND NOTHING SEEMED TO BE LEAKING. WE LEFT STORE AND GAS GAUGE CONTINUED TO DECREASE UNTIL LIGHT CAME ON AND GAUGE READS EMPTY. THIS STARTED ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND CONTINUES TO BE AN ISSUE. *TR
VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AFTER A NEW BATTERY WAS INSTALLED ( 2 MONTHS AGO). DRIVER SIDE WINDOW SLOW TO ROLL DOWN AND UP. NOW THE TEMPERATURE IS STARTING TO GO PAST THE 200 MARK ON THERMOSTAT. *TR
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AND IT ALMOST KILLED ME BECAUSE I WAS ON A WINDING ROAD WITH NO STREET LAMPS. IT WAS PITCH DARK. I THREW ON THE HIGH BEAMS AND SAW THAT I WAS ABOUT TO CRASH INTO THE CENTER DIVIDER. I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE AND GET IT BACK ON THE ROAD WITHOUT AN INCIDENT. I CALLED GM CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER AND SPOKE WITH [XXX] EXT [XXX] AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE RECALL THAT IS OUT FOR THIS ISSUE DOES NOT INCLUDE MY VIN NUMBER. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT I WAS EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM THAT THE OTHER TRAILBLAZERS ARE HAVING AND HE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS ISSUE MYSELF IF I WANTED IT TO BE FIXED. I NEED GM TO KNOW THAT MY VEHICLE IS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND IT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT YOUR AGENCY NOTIFIES THEM OF WHEN A RECALL NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND AND THAT HE WOULD DO NOTHING TO HELP ME. I HAVE A WIFE AND A SON. OUR LIFE IS IN THEIR HANDS. PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS RECALL THROUGH SO OTHER FAMILIES DON'T EXPERIENCE THE NEAR DEAD EXPERIENCE THAT WE DID. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V755000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
MY HEADLIGHTS WHEN OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. MY LO-BEAMS FAILED AND MY HI-BEAMS CONTINUED TO WORK. *TR
2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER RECALL NOTICE #12180. *MW THE CONSUMER STATED HE HAD THE RECALL PERFORMED. HOWEVER, LATER IN THE YEAR A BRIEF RAIN SHOWER OCCURRED AND THE CONSUMER LEFT THE WINDOWS CRACKED A COUPLE OF INCHES AND WATER ENTERED THE DOOR MODULE AND CONSEQUENTLY, ALL OF THE SWITCHES STOPPED WORKING. THE CONSUMER WENT BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THE FIX WAS NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT AGAINST WATER AS A LIQUID, BUT ONLY AMBIENT MOISTURE IN THE AIR. *JB
2007 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER THE SWITCH ON THE ARM REST GETS HOT AND AT TIMES DOES NOT RESPOND WHEN UNLOCKING OR LOCKING. *MW
I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK AT AN ONGOING TRAFFIC ON THE INTERSTATE AND MY 2007 TRAILBLAZER SECURITY AND ENGINE LIGHTS CAME ON. IT STARTED TO SLOW DOWN AND THE ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND HAPPENS MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE, I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT AND I WAS CHARGED ALMOST $300 DOLLARS UNFORTUNATELY IT DID NOT FIX. THIS IS THE WORST VEHICLE I'VE EVER HAD QUALITY OF THE VEHICLE IS SUCK. I WILL NEVER BUY CHEVROLET AGAIN!!!! *TR
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE GENERAL MOTORS (GM) IS RECALL THAT INVOLVES THE DDM ON MY TRAILBLAZER. GM SAYS ITS NOT INVOLVED IN THE RECALL BUT THEY HAVE 1 ALREADY CHANGED IT UNDER WARRANTY ON 3/29/2013 (RECALL) AND AGAIN AT 6/07/2013 AND ITS AGAIN FAILING WHY ARE THEY NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE THIS DEFECTIVE PART?? *TR
THE VEHICLE VIBRATES HEAVILY WHILE IN IDLE. THE CAR WILL BE IN THE DRIVE POSITION AT A STOP. THE CAR ACTS AS IF IT IS ABOUT TO STALL OUT. WHICH PRESENTS A HUGE HAZARD WITH CHILDREN IN THE CAR. WE HAVE REPLACED THE ENGINE MOUNTS,SPARK PLUGS, COILS, BOOTS, INTAKE FLUSH AND PERFORMED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. I HAVE READ THAT NUMEROUS TRAILBLAZERS HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME ISSUE WITH NO RESOLUTION! MY BIGGEST FEAR IS FOR A CAR TO STALL AND AN INJURY TO OCCUR A A DIRECT RESULT.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED, BOTH OUTSIDE MIRRORS MOVED INDEPENDENTLY AND THE SEAT HEATER STOPPED WORKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR MODULE NEEDED TO BE RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE MIRROR ACTUATORS AND THE HEATED SEAT ELEMENTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,363.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.

INACCURATE FUEL LEVEL READING. IN NOVEMBER, MY FUEL GAUGE AND DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER BEGAN TO SPONTANEOUSLY READ ERRATICALLY AND WOULD NOT ACCURATELY SHOW ME HOW MUCH GAS I HAD. CONDITION HAS RAPIDLY PROGRESSED TO WHERE THE FUEL GAUGE ALMOST CONSTANTLY READS EMPTY, LOW FUEL LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED AND FUEL LEVEL LOW IS DISPLAYED IN THE DIC. IN RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND SERVICE BULLETIN NO. 10054B WHICH STATES IT IS A PREMATURE WEARING OF THE FUEL SENSOR AND I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A MAILED NOTICE FROM GM REGARDING THIS KNOWN ISSUE. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY SUCH NOTICE. THERE ARE NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH MY VIN AND MY WARRANTY HAS NOW EXPIRED SO THERE WILL NOT BE "VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY" FOR THE DEALER TO CONFIRM THROUGH THE "APPLICABLE WARRANTIES SECTION IN THE GLOBAL WARRANTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM." THIS ISSUE IS BIGGER THAN PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGED BY GM AND NEEDS TO BE A FULL RECALL, NOT A 50/50 SHARED RESPONSIBILITY WITH THE CUSTOMER WHEN GM ACKNOWLEDGES THE ISSUE IS DUE TO A FAULTY PART THAT PREMATURELY WEARS AND CAUSES THE MALFUNCTION. ALSO, THE ENTIRE FUEL PUMP INCLUDING THE SENDING UNIT AND FUEL LEVEL SENSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, NOT JUST THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR. *TR
APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS AGO MY DIM HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AS I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT. I THOUGHT TO SWITCH TO HIGH BEAMS AND LUCKILY THEY WORKED ON HIGH BEAM THANK GOODNESS THIS WAS A ROAD I KNEW WELL.. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING HOW OFTEN THIS HAPPENS DURING THE DAYTIME. BUT IT OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES AFTER THIS. I HAD MY VEHICLE CHECKED AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A RELAY. CHANGED IT AND PROBLEM SOLVED, UNTIL NOW. THE ISSUE IS BACK, GM SENT ME A "SPECIAL COVERAGE" LETTER, I CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE LETTER AND WAS DIRECTED TO TAKE IT TO A CHEV. DEALERSHIP TO CONFIRM MY VEHICLE DOES HAVE THE HEADLAMP DRIVER MODULE ISSUE THEN CHEVROLET WILL LET ME KNOW WHAT WOULD BE NEXT. THEY DID CONFIRM MY VEHICLE HAS THE ISSUE BUT CHEVROLET WILL NOT COVER MY VEHICLE BECAUSE IT IS OVER THE MILEAGE OF 150,000. REALLY? IS MY VEHICLE NO LONGER WORTH FIXING OR IS THE ISSUE SUPPOSED TO RESOLVE ITSELF AFTER THE 150,000 MILE MARK? A SALESMAN CALLED ME AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP TO ASK ABOUT ME TRADING OR GETTING RID OF MY VEHICLE, IS THIS A PLOY JUST TO SELL VEHICLES?

I WAS COMING HOME AT NIGHT AND THE HEADLIGHT DIDN'T COME ON. TRIED TO MANUALLY TURN THEM ON AND NOTHING. THE RUNNING LIGHT CAME ON JUST FINE JUST THE HEADLIGHT WOULDN'T. THE FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT WAS LOOKED AT ABOUT 1 MONTH BEFORE JUNE OF 2007 AT 4500 MILES AND AGAIN AT JUNE 22ND AND THEN IT WAS REPLACED. THIS PROBLEM CONTINUED THROUGHT OUT THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE I JUST MADE SURE IT HAD GAS IN IT. IT CAME ON AGAIN ABOUT SEPT 20TH OF 2014 AND STAYED ON FOR FIVE DAYS. ALL THIS TIME PASSED BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE THE TIME TO MESS WITH IT. I DECIDED I HAD HAD ENOUGH AND TOOK IT TO GM IN OLATHE KANSAS WHERE THEY IN STALLED A NEW SENDING UNIT IT IS A NEW AND BETTER ONE THE CHARGED ME 108.88 AND I FEEL THEY SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE WHOLE PRICE. *TR

MY MASTER WINDOW SWITCH CAUGHT FIRE ON 9/27/14. I WOKE UP THAT MORNING TO FIND THAT MY WINDOW DID NOT WORK WHILE DRIVING MY DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL. THEN ALL OF SUDDEN THERE WAS A SMELL OF SOMETHING BURNING ON MY SIDE OF THE CAR. I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE CAR AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE DOOR PANEL. I TOOK OUT THE SWITCH AND IT WAS BURNED. IT ALSO BURNED SOME OF THE MATERIAL INSIDE OF THE DOOR. THEN ALL OF SUDDEN WHILE I WAS SITTING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE WINDOW STARTED GOING UP AND DOWN RANDOMLY WITH THE SMOKE COMING OUT OF IT. I TOOK IT MY FATHERS HOUSE WHERE HE DISCONNECTED THE MODULE. THE WINDOW WAS HALF DOWN. IT WAS 45 DEGREES THAT MORNING . I PAID SOMEONE TO PUT THE WINDOW BACK UP WITH A PRICE OF $150 DUE TO EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER AND HAVING A 2 YEAR OLD. I WENT TO CREW CHEVEROLET TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED WHEN THEY SAID THAT ALL 2005-2007 MASTER DOOR SWITCH WAS ON RECALL DUE TO ELECTRICAL ISSUES THAT MAY CAUSE THE SWITCH TO CATCH FIRE. WHEN THEY LOOKED UP MY VIN THEY TOLD ME THAT MY TRUCK WAS NOT COVERED. MY VEHICLE IS A 2007 AND IM NOT SURE WHY MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED. IF THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, THEN I BELIEVE I SHOULD GET A NEW PART DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ERROR. THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY $405 FOR THE PART AND PROGRAMMING BUT COULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT MY MOTOR FOR MY WINDOW WAS NOT DAMAGED AS WELL. I CONTACTED GM MYSELF AND THEY SAID THERE IS A RECALL ON 2005-2007 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER BUT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A RECALL FOR CHEVY TRAILBLAZER IN MY STATE JUST NOT MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH IT IS A 2007. MY DAUGHTER AND I COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED. *TR
