19 Sep 2025. The headlights turn off at night while driving. With the switch in the "auto" position, I turned the switch to "off" then back to "auto" and they came back on for a short period of time. They turned off again, I turned them to "on", they came back on for a brief period. I had to keep switching the headlight switch from "on" to "off" and back to "on" every 20 to 30 seconds (estimated) to keep driving. The dealership could not schedule a diagnosis until 8 Oct 2025. This is a potentially fatal issue.
MY VEHICLE & MANY MANY MORE ARE EFFECTED WITH THE DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS THAT COME ON WHEN VEHICLE IS PUT IN GEAR. GREAT IDEA, BUT NO TAILLIGHTS EVER COME ON. I HAVE ALMOST RUN INTO MULTIPLE VEHICLES IN FOGGY CONDITIONS. IT ALSO HAS A NEGATIVE PURPOSE IN SNOW & RAIN. CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAS NOT BEEN BROUGHT TO YOUR ATTENTION BEFORE THIS.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
