VEHICLE WOULDN'T ACCELERATE WHEN PEDAL WAS PUSHED, THEN JERKED AND TOOK OFF. VEHICLE BEGAN ACCELERATING QUICKLY WHILE IN CRUISE CONTROL MODE. STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PUSH START BUTTON, WOULDN'T NOT DO ANYTHING WHEN PRESSED.
I TOOK MY CAR TO THE CAR WASH AND AFTER I LEFT THERE, THE BRAKE PEDAL GOT VERY HARD AND I COULD NOT STOP. LOOK FOR A PARKING LOT TO INVESTIGATE A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND THEN I HAD TO CALL MY INSURANCE TO REQUEST A CRANE AND TAKE IT TO MY HOUSE.
MOSTLY HWY DRIVING~ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, TRANSMISSION LIGHT IS ON AND VEHICLE SPEED DECREASES, UNABLE TO ACCELERATE. WHEN I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, MOST TIMES THE SCREEN WILL RESET, THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL GO OFF WITH IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. STORED CODES HAVE BEEN P1DA9, P073E. I'VE TAKEN THE CARE TO THE DEALER, SOFTWARE RESET-ONLY SOLVED THE PROBLEM FOR A SHORT TIME. SEARCHED FOR RECALL BY VEHICLE AND THERE ARE AT LEAST 7, BUT WHEN SEARCHING BY VIN # STATES NONE. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIME BUT I WILL ENTER MOST RECENT DATE WITH COMPLAINT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE KEY FOB ALSO FAILED TO LOCK AND UNLOCK THE VEHICLE DOORS AND THE TIRE MONITOR FAILED TO FUNCTION. IN ADDITION, WHILE PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, THE ELECTRONIC EMERGENCY BRAKE APPLIED INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING, CAUSING BOTH REAR WHEELS TO LOCK UP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
AIR BAG HAS COME ON AFTER 62469 MILE AND IT WILL NOT GO OFF. IT NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. BUT, I SEE THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES.
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD LURCHES FORWARD WHEN TRYING TO STOP DOESN'T RESPOND AT ACCELERATION LOSES POWER WHEN TRYING TO PULL OUT IN TRAFFIC CHRYSLER SAYS I NEED TO PUT NEW TIRES ON THE CAR TO CORRECT THE TRANSMISSION
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON 7-18-2017 AND I RETURNED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AT LEAST 6 TIMES IN REGARDS TO DIFFERENT ISSUES MAINLY WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND POWERTRAIN. THEY SAID THAT THEY REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION BUT THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURRED TWO WEEKS LATER
THE CAR IS SHUTTING OF WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC; NO WARNING SIGNS ARE ON AND CARE GIVES NO WARNING. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE USED ON JANUARY 2015 FROM RUSS DARROW IN MILWAUKEE, WI AND THEY ARE NOT BEING ANY HELP THIS IS TRULY A SAFETY ISSUE FOR MYSELF AND OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD WITH ME. THIS HAPPENED TO ME 4 TIMES NOW WITHIN THE PAST 48HORS AND ONCE WHILE I WAS ON THE FREEWAY.I LOOKED ONLINE AT OTHER MAKES AND MODELS IN DIFFERENT THE SAME STATE AND DIFFERENT STATES BY CUSTOMERS DRIVING THE SAME VEHICLE AND THE EXACT SAME ISSUE AS MY VEHICLE THIS IS SCARY AND DANGEROUS BECAUSE THIS COULD THE CAUSE OF A DEADLY ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE GIVES NO WARNING ITS BOUT TO SHUT OFF I FEEL LIKE THIS MATTER SHOULD BE TAKING SERIOUSLY AND LOOK INTO THESE VEHICLES SHE BE DONE. THIS IS SCARY AND ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR USING THE VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS COMPLAINT AND OTHERS DRIVEN THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE CHRYSLER SEEMS TO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THERE CONSUMERS
I'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR 7-8 MONTHS. GOT IN IT ON AUGUST 17, 2017 AND STARTED IT, A WARNING CAME ON TO HAVE MY AREBAGS SERVICED. CHECKED OWNERS MANUEL AND IT ADVISED THAT THE AIRBAG SYSTEM WAS MAINTENANCE FREE. CALLED DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD NO RECALL.
CAR CUTS OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE ALSO STALLS WHILE DRIVING AND WON'T PICK UP SPEED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE "SHIFT TO P" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 32205800. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,000.
THE VEHICLE IS SHUTTING DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC,INDICATOR ON DASH WILL FLASH SHIFT TO "P".THE WILL NOT RESTART, YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY A RESTART AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING. ONCE TRYING TO RESTART IT WILL SOUND AS IF IT DOESNT WANT TO BUT FINALLY WILL. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED 5 TO 6 TIMES ALREADY. I'M AFRAID AN ACCIDENT WILL HAPPEN WHEN DRIVING 50 MILES PER HOUR THEN COMING TO COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF HEAVY TRAFFIC. THE CAR HAS STOPPED IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY AND MAJOR MILE ROADS. PLEASE ASSIST ME WITH THIS EXTREME DANGEROUS PROBLEM.I HAVE READ THROUGH RESEARCH THAT THE TCM PINS ARE NOT CONNECTING IN THE HARNESS AND REPROGRAMMING SOME THINGS.THIS CREATES AN UNSAFE CONDITION FOR DRIVING.

TAKATA RECALL MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND HAS BEEN ON FOR ALONG TIME NOW WHEN IT FIRST CAME ON IT WOULD COME ON THEN SHUT OFF NOW IT'S BEEN ON AND HASN'T SHUT OFF.

UPON ENGAGING THE PUSH START FEATURE, THE BRAKES AND THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND ALL OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS ILLUMINATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT COULD NOT DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL. THE CONTACT DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND RESET THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
TIRE WEAR INDICATORS SHOWING AT 13,000 MILES.
TAKATA RECALL HAD THE CAR SINCE APRIL OF THIS YEAR. CUT OFF OVER 20 TIMES AND CONSUMES OIL A LOT. I MEAN I'M ADDING OIL EVERY 700 MILES ALMOST. CAR HAS LEFT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTIONS WITH MY FAMILY IN DANGER
MY AIRBAG SENSOR HAS BEEN INDICATING FOR QUITE A WHILE ALTHOUGH OTHER 200 FALL UNDER THE RECALL MINE DOESN'T ALSO MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ALSO HAS GONE OUT
VEHICLE HAS AROUND 35,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE NOTICED SINCE ABOUT 20,000 MILES THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN JERKING. THIS HAPPENS BOTH WITH SLOW ACCELERATION AND SLOWING DOWN TO STOP. IF I AM APPROACHING A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN AND I START TO SLOW TO STOP, THE CAR WILL JERK TO THE POINT THAT IT FEELS LIKE IT WILL STALL. WHEN EASING OFF OF THE BRAKE AFTER A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT, THE CAR JERKS TO THE POINT THAT IF I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME, I WOULD MOST LIKELY HIT THEM. ON ONE OCCASION I WAS DRIVING THROUGH A SCHOOL ZONE GOING ABOUT 10 MPH, THE RPM NEEDLE WAS PAST 4 AND THE CAR WAS MAKING A LOUD SOUND. I TRIED TO GO SLOWER BUT THE CAR JERKED AND STALLED. ANOTHER ISSUE IS WHEN TRYING TO MERGE ONTO AN INTERSTATE, THE CAR DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO SPEED UP. IT WILL BE STUCK AROUND 50-55 AND I REALLY HAVE TO HIT THE GAS TO GET IT TO SPEED UP. WITHIN THE LAST MONTH, MY CAR HAS STALLED TWICE. ONCE WHEN BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVE WAY AND ONCE WHILE PULLING IN. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP RELATING THE A TRANSMISSION ERROR I GOT AS WELL AS A COOLANT TEMP. SENSOR AND MENTIONED THE ISSUES WITH THE JERKING AND STALLING BUT THE DEALERSHIP HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECREATE OR GET A CODE. THIS IS STARTING TO HAPPEN MORE FREQUENTLY AND IS A BIT ALARMING AS I NEVER KNOW WHEN IT IS GOING TO START GIVING ISSUES.
VEHICLE IS A SAFETY HAZARD. ON 7/28/2017 I ALMOST AT A FATAL ACCIDENT AND ALMOST RAN OFF OF THE ROAD DUE TO IMPAIR VISION. 1 OF MY COMPLAINTS TO DEALERSHIP AND CHRYSLER WAS THAT MY FRONT WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER IS NOT WORKING. I HAVE EXPRESSED MY CONCERN AND FEAR TO BOTH PARTIES. ALSO, I HAVE OTHER ON GOING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION, STALLING, HESITATING, PULLING SIDE TO SIDE, CONSUMING GAS, JERKING, MAKING A CLUCKING NOISE, HVAC ISSUES, DRIVE SHAFT AND SHIFTING GEARS.
WHEN THE VEHICLE COMES TO REST AT A STOP LIGHT OR SIGN AND I TRY TO PULL OUT, A WARNING LIGHT FLASHES, THE ENGINE STALLS AND THE MESSAGE SAYS TO PUT ENGINE IN PARK. WHEN I AM FINALLY ABLE TO RELEASE MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE AND POWER THE CAR OFF AND TRY TO RESTART, IT TRIES, BUT FAILS AT LEAST TWO TIMES BEFORE WORKING THE THIRD TIME.
THE CAR WILL NOT CRANK EVEN THOUGH THE KEY FOB IS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 1 HOUR (SOMETIMES MORE, SOMETIMES LESS) TO GET THE CAR CRANKED. THE CAR STARTS AT RANDOM...NO SPECIAL TECHNIQUE CAN BE USED TO GET THIS CAR TO CRANK AS IT SHOULD. THE KEY FOB WORKS FOR LOCKING, UNLOCKING DOORS; HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT WORK TO START IGNITION. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY IN THE FOB, HAD THE CAR'S BATTERY TESTED (IT'S IN GOOD WORKING ORDER), TAKEN IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP OF PURCHASE TWICE. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR SEVERAL DAYS NOW IN UPPER 90 DEGREE WEATHER IN FLORIDA. THE VEHICLE IS IMMOBILE/STATIONARY. THE OCCURRENCES HAVE HAPPENED AT HOME, WORK, GROCERY STORE, RESTAURANT. ADDITIONALLY I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE CAR SKIPS WHILE IN MOTION. IT FEELS AS IF SOMETHING GETS HUNG UP AND THEN RELEASES. THIS IS UNSAFE AND FRUSTRATING. THIS CAR IS CRAP!

THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,981.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,680.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
THE TRANSAXLE WIRE HARNESS HAS A RECALL ON IT AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALMOST 2 YEARS FOR THE NEW PART TO COME IN AND STILL IT HAS NOT. THIS IS CAUSING A DELAY WHEN TAKING OFF FROM A STOP. HAS ALMOST CAUSED SEVERAL WRECKS. IT HAOOENS DAILY.
THE AIRBAG SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON I TOOK IT IN TO WHERE I BOUGHT IT AND THEY SAID THEY HAD TO RESET IT . IT WENT OFF AND 2 DAYS LATER IT CAME BACK ON AND NEVER WENT OFF.. NOW IT STAYS ON. I WAS TOLD THERE IS NO RECALL FOR MY CAR. THE TRANSMISSION JOLTS WHEN GOING FROM 2ND INTO 3RDWHILE DRIVING ALSO. AND MY MIDDLE CONSOLE THE CONTROLS AIR AND SOUND WORKS WHEN IT FEELS LIKE IT.
AIR BAG WARNING COMES ON SAYING TO HAVE AIR BAGS SERVICED.
MY HUSBAND AND I WENT ON A TRIP FROM BELLEVUE, OHIO TO FORT WAYNE, INDIANA. AROUND 300 MILES ROUND TRIP, GIVE OR TAKE. MY HUSBAND CHECKED THE OIL BEFORE WE LEFT AND IT WAS FINE. NO PROBLEMS ON THE RIDE THERE. AFTER THE CAR SAT FOR 3-4 HOURS WE WERE LEAVING THE PARK, GOING DOWN A HILL WITH A CURVE AT THE BOTTOM AND THE CAR JUST DIES. NO STEERING AND NO BRAKES. ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH CAME ON. WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON. WE ALMOST HIT A CAMPER. THE ONLY THING THAT STILLED WORKED WAS THE RADIO. THE CAR FINALLY STOPS ON ITS OWN. MY HUSBAND PUTS IT IN PARKING AND CHECKS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR TO MAKE SURE WE DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING. WHEN HE TRUE TO START THE BACK UP, IT STRUGGLES THE FIRST TWO TRIES. THE THIRD TIME IT TURNED OVER. NO LIGHTS ON DASH TO EXPLAIN THE STALL. WE NERVOUSLY DRIVE THE CAR ALL THE WAY HOME. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT MORNING. WE TOOK THE CAR IN TO BE CHECKED OUT. DEALERSHIP HAD THE CAR OVER NIGHT. WE GO IN TO PICK UP OUR CAR AND THEY TELL US THAT THEY HAD TO PUT 3 3/4 QUARTS OF OIL IN IT. IT BEING LOW ON OIL CAUSED THE SAFETY FEATURE IN THE CAR TO SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN. DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THIS FEATURE. WE WERE ALSO INFORMED THAT SINCE OUR CAR HAD OVER 50,000 IT WILL BURN THROUGH A QUART OF OIL EVERY 750 MILES..SERIOUSLY. AFTER THE DEALERSHIP TRIED TO CHARGE US 75 DOLLARS FOR LABOR, WHICH I REFUSED TO PAY. I WENT HOME AND RESEARCHED THE OIL CONSUMPTION FOR OUR CAR. ON THE CHRYSLER WEBSITE IT DOES STATE THAT OUR CAR WILL CONSUME 1 QUART OF OIL FOR EVERY 750 MILES. CHRYSLER SAYS THIS IS ACCEPTABLE. MY DAD IS A RETIRED MECHANIC OF 45 YEARS AND HES BEYOND OUTRAGED THAT THIS IS ACCEPTABLE. AT 80 AN OIL CHANGE AND FOR SOMEONE THAT TRAVELS A LOT, THAT'S RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. HOW CAN THIS BE ACCEPTABLE? MIND BLOWN BY THIS.
WE TRAVELED TWO HOURS AWAY FOR AN EVENT. WHEN WE WERE LEAVING THE PARK THE CAR STALLED. NO STEERING, NO BRAKES, AND NO DASH LIGHTS. WE ALMOST SIDE SWIPED A CAMPER BEFORE THE CAR FINALLY STOPPED. ANOTHER TIME DRIVING DOWN A BUSY HIGHWAY THE CAT JUST DIES. ETC LIGHT COMES ON. WE TAKE THE CAR TI THE DEALER AND THEY TELL US ITS BECAUSE THE OIL WAS LOW. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE OIL BEING LOW IS GOING TO STALL OUT THE CAR, THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF OIL ISSUES. NO LIGHTS WERE ON IN THE DASH. THIS CAR IS UNSAFE.
SHOWS ON THE DASH {SERVICE AIR BAGS} STAYS ON AFTER U START THE VEHICLE AND DOES ITS SELF TEST
TAKATA RECALL,. I PURCHASED THIS CAR USED A YEAR AGO, WITHIN A MONTH THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO DEALER AND THEY SAID THE WAS THE OLUG UNDER THE SEAT AND RESET THE COMPUTER. HE SAID TO KEEP THE AREA BELOW THE PASSENGER SEAT CLEAR SO THE PLUG DOESN'T GET MOVED. A MONTH LATER THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I CAN'T KEEP BRINGING IT INTO THE SHOP. NOW I HAVE TO INSPECT THE CAR AND IT FAILS BECAUSE OF THE STUPID AIRBAG. IT'S COSTING ME MONEY AND TIME. THIS MODEL NEEDS TO HAVE A RECALL DONE FOR SAFETY.
WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE FRONT WHEELS BEGAN SHAKING. SHAKING STOPPED BELOW 30 MPH BUT STEERING BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN. FOR PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS I EXPERIENCED SENSATION THAT CAR WAS NOT CONNECTED TO ROAD AS IF THE FRONT WHEELS WERE NOT TURNING WHEN STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED. CONVINCED MYSELF IT WAS IRREGULARITIES IN ROAD AND CONTINUED ON. TODAY LIMPED HOME AT 30MPH.
MY LIGHT FOR THE FRONT PASSENGER HAS TURNED ON. I CALLED THE JEEP DEALERSHIP LAST YEAR AROUND JULY OF LAST YEAR AND TOLD ME THEY COULD DO NOTHING FOR ME BECAUSE MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. IT HAS TURNED OFF AND ON FOR THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS. THE LIGHT CONTINUES TO STAY AND IS NOT TURNING OFF AND THE SOUND KEEPS GOING OFF EVERY COUPLE MINUTES.
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND WILL NOT TURN OFF THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I AM FILING A COMPLAINT. I HAVE EVEN WROTE TO JEEP MOTORS AND NO RESPONSE. I NOTICE THAT MY RADIO TURNS OFF ON IT'S OWN COMPLETELY . THE SCREEN GOES BLACK AND REBOOST ITSELF.

WE DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE AT THIS TIME AND WE HAVE CONTACTED CHRYSLER VIA TWITTER, THE DEALERSHIP AND NO HELP HAS BEEN GIVEN. WE THINK IT'S AN UPDATE ISSUE BUT NO ONE A=WANTS TO COMPLETE UPDATES DUE TO IT'S FREE AND THE COMPANY IS NOT GETTING ANY MONEY
WHEN I AM IN DRIVE AND TURN A CORNER ONTO AN UPHILL STREET, MY CAR'S BELL SOUNDS AND THE DASH READOUT SAYS "PRESS OK FOR KMH" THEN THE ENGINE CUTS OUT AND THE CAR STALLS. IT WILL RESTART AFTER A COUPLE ATTEMPTS. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF A COUPLE DAYS. THE CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, BUT A DEALERSHIP WON'T BE ABLE TO FIT IT IN FOR TWO WEEKS. I HAVE APPEALED TO CHRYSLER IN TWO SEPARATE PHONE CALLS, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN UNHELPFUL AND WILL NOT AGREE TO REIMBURSE COSTS IF I GO ELSEWHERE.

IT?S BEEN AT LEAST 8MONTHS SINCE I?VE DRIVEN MY OWN CAR BECAUSE OF ALL THE SAFETY HAZARDS ON IT AND I AM PREGNANT. I FEEL TO SCARED TO DRIVE IT THINKING THAT SOMETHING MAY HAPPEN TO ME BECAUSE THE CAR WANTS TO ACT UP. SINCE ABOUT A MONTH AFTER I HAD FINANCED THE CAR I NOTICED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS ON AND THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT WOULD POP ON AND OFF. THE CAR STARTED TO STAY AT A CERTAIN SPEED LIMIT AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE NO MATTER HOW HARD OR LONG I PRESSED ON THE GAS PEDAL. I WOULD THEN HAVE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURN MY CAR OFF AND THEN TURN IT BACK ON. THIS WAS ONGOING FOR MONTHS.. IT WAS MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION TO WORK AND I DIDN?T HAVE THE MONEY TO GET A NEW CAR AFTER JUST FINANCING ONE AND BEING YOUNG IN THE MILITARY. I HAD TOOK IT TO MY DEALERSHIP WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT WOULD COME UP BECAUSE THE SENSOR FOR MY OIL WASN'T READING AND IT WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT AND MY AIR BAG LIGHT CAME UP BECAUSE SOMEONE IN THE BACKSEAT MUST'VE STEPPED ON IT AND IT WOULD STILL WORK BUT THE LIGHT WOULD BE THERE. A LOT OF [XXX] BUT AT THE TIME I DIDN'T KNOW MUCH SO I WENT OFF OF WHAT THEY SAID. LATER ON THE LIGHT WOULD GO ON AND OFF. FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTH I BELIEVE I HAD REPLACED MY LIGHTS 8 TIMES THINKING THAT IT WAS NORMAL TO CHANGE IT THAT OFTEN. AGAIN I DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT CARS. BUT AFTER GETTING IT CHECKED THE DEALERSHIP HAD TOLD ME I HAVE WIRING ISSUES AND I MY HEAD LIGHTS AND HIGHBEAMS DON?T WORK ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. AND AFTER LETTING A FRIEND USE MY CAR FOR A DAY I BELIEVE THEY'VE GONE OUT COMPLETELY. TODAY I WENT TO DRIVE MY CAR LITERALLY 5MIN AWAY FROM MY HOUSE TO THE STORE TO JUST TURN IT ON AND MY CAR STARTED SHAKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. OH AND MY BATTERY HAS GONE OUT BEFORE ON ME A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE PAST AND IT DID THAT TO ME TODAY WHILE I WAS ON A HILL WHICH WAS REALLY DANGEROUS. THE CONTACT MENTION THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE SAME DEALER THREE TIMES IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS FOR THE SAME FAILURE AND WAS DIAGNOSED THAT DTC CODE: P01063 CAME UP AS THE TRANSMISSION CODE THAT OIL SOLENOID THAT WAS STOCK RELEASING THE OIL OUT OF THE CYLINDER INTO THE ENGINE WHERE THE CATALYTIC CONVECTOR WAS LOCATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK I TRY TO CHANGE MY MUSIC AND TRY TO USE MY TEMPERATURE CONTROL PANEL THE SCREEN WAS FROZEN NOT DOING ANYTHING I WAS NOT EVEN ABLE TO HANG UP A PHONE CALL FROM THE SCREEN, AFTER WORK MY CAR WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF POWER DID NOT TURN ON AT ALL, IT HAS A RECALL S55 THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THIS EXACT THING HAPPEN TO ME, FIRST TIME THEY FIX IT WITH NO PROBLEM, NO THIS TIME THEY ARE SAYING THAT IT IS PROBABLY THE RECALL AND SOMETHING ELSE, I DON'T WANT TO PAY MORE TO FIX IT ITS ALREADY 4 TIMES HAVING TROUBLE WITH THIS CAR I'M TIRED OF IT MY MONTHLY PAYMENT IS BIG AND NOW "SOMETHING ELSE" THAT THE WARRANTY DON'T COVER?? THE CONTACT SUFFERED A BRUISED KNEE, BRUISED RIBS, AND A SEVERE HEAD CONCUSSIONS WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. ADDITIONALLY, TWO PASSENGERS IN THE OTHER VEHICLE WERE UNINJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000. CAR HESITATES WHILE DRIVING. YOU CAN FEEL IT HARD SHIFT IN 5TH GEAR. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES RANDOMLY ON SHOWING CODE FOR A MIS-FIRE IN CYLINDER 5. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND HAD FIXED (SUPPOSEDLY) AND NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. CAR STILL CONTINUES TO MISFIRE AND SURGE IN 5TH GEAR. HAD MECHANIC CHANGE OUT ALL SPARK PLUGS BUT THE COMPUTER STILL READS MISFIRE. EVERY OTHER GEAR SEEMS FINE. CAR IDLES ROUGH WHILE STOPPED AND IF YOU LET FOOT OFF THE BRAKE IT SHAKES LIKE ITS GOING TO FALL TO PIECES. I'VE OWNED THE CAR FOR JUST OVER A YEAR AND ITS SPENT MORE TIME IN THE SHOP OR SITTING THAN I'VE BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (WRANGLER DODGE IN NORTH DALLAS, TX) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO THE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 54,000.
AFTER HAVING THE VEHICLE FOR LESS THAN A YEAR, APPROXIMATELY 7 MINTHS, THE AIRBAG LIGHT APEARED AND STARED TO SERVICE AIR BAG SYSTEM. AFTER TAKING TO THE DEALER, THEY ADVISED THAT SERVICE WASN'T COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BUT IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITHTHIS CAR.
I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROMA LOCAL CERTIFIED DEALER IN THE END OF APRIL 2017 IN MAY I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THERE LOCATION BECASUE THE VEHICLE WOULDNT TURN ON OR RESPOND THEY CLAIMED IT WAS THE BATTERY BUT EVER SINCE THEN THE CAR BEEN SHIFTING WEIRD THE TOLD ME IT NEED TO BE TAKEN TO A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. JUST LAST WEEK (JULY 4TH WEEKEND) I WAS DRIVING TO A FRIENDS HOUSE WHEN THE CAR WOULDNT GO PAST 35MPH AS SOON AS I STOPED THE VEHICLE STALLED. ITRIED TO TURN IT ON BUT IT WONT AND IT KEPT THE STARTER EVEN THO I LET OFF THE START BUTTON. I WAS SCARED TO THINK IT MAY CAUSE A FIRE. 2 DAYS AFTER THAT I GOT THE SAMA SITUATION BUT THIS TIME THE DISPLAY WOULD NOT WORK AND THE CAR STALLED AGAIN RESULTING ME TO APPLY THE HAZARDS AND TRY TO AVOID TO GET HIT BY VEHICLES.
