My HFM has failed and I think it may be caused by the alternator but it has killed 2 battery's and there was no warning lamps or lights of any kind. I am going to have victory motors in craig colorado diagnosis the issue also.
Shifter Transmission
It says a recall on my car was fixed 2014 I purchased vehicle 2022, but just recently it has started just shutting off while driving it. Completely dying. Simular to the alternator recall P60
The timing chain guides broke under 100,000 miles just look a recall notice given to many that the same motor and vehicle had the same year. Notice states q1 2013 with the 5.7 mds motor and this motor has all the labels amd original. Car almost cause a pile up on i-20
The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle had not yet been taken to an independent mechanic or local dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
Per the local dealer inspection the PDC unit has faulty wiring which caused the fuse to burn severely in turn things begin to randomly stop working no sound from radio, doors will not lock at times, back up camera goes in and out.
On the gear shift lever of my vehicle, there are jagged, hard plastic pieces between the leather and the shift lever that continuously cuts my fingers while shifting gears. The cuts are similar to papercuts. One time, a piece of the hard plastic broke off and got stuck in my hand, which required tweezers to remove. Very painful.

The vehicle was examined by an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the alternator was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact indicated that the vehicle was previously serviced under the NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V435000 (Electrical System). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 67,400.
I OWN A 2013 CHRYSLER 300C LUXURY 5.7L IT RAN FINE AS OF APRIL 5TH 2021. ON APRIL 6TH 2021 THE CAR SUDDENLY WOULDN'T START. CRANKED FOREVER AND WOULD EVENTUALLY START. HAD 0 OIL PRESSURE BUT JUST HAD AN OIL CHANGE A FEW HUNDRED MILES BEFORE. CODES WERE PRESENTED ON THE ODB2 SCANNER TOOL. THE CAR ITSELF SAID SOMETHING ABOUT A SHORT OR SOMETHING. TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD TO FIX IT AND NOTHING WORKED. EVENTUALLY ALL THE SCREENS AND GAUGES BEGIN TO SEIZE OUT AND THE CAR DIES. WON'T EVEN START. BATTERY WAS ALSO CHECKED AND FINE.
THE ABS CONTROL MODULE FOR SEVERAL CHRYSLER VEHICLES IS UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THIS TIME. THE ABS IS EFFECTIVELY DISABLED AS A RESULT OF LACK OF PARTS. WHEN I SPOKE WITH A DEALER PARTS DEPARTMENT, THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF THESE MODULES BACKORDERED WITH NO FULFILLMENT DATE AVAILABLE. THE PART NUMBERS NECESSARY FOR MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE ARE 68195727AA (ORIGINAL) AND 68210119AB (REPLACEMENT). I AM CONCERNED WITH THE LOSS OF ANTI-LOCK BRAKING ABILITY FOR HUNDREDS OF CHRYSLER VEHICLES.
HANDS FREE MODULE QUIT WORKING, COMMON PROBLEM WITH DODGE/CHRYSLER, AC WILL NOT RECIRCULATE CAUSES ONLY OUTSIDE AIR TO BE DRAWN INTO THE CAB, CAUSE IS MALFUNCTIONING/BAD HUMIDITY SENSOR ABOUT THE RESR VIEW MIRROR, DRIVER HEATED SEAT QUIT WORKING, LEFT HEADLIGHT QUIT WORKING, BAD HID BALLAST. THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY WILL RETRACT ON IT'S OWN WHILE DRIVING. THE TRANSMISSION W5A580-NAG1-722.6 EITHER SHIFT EXTREMELY HARD 3-4 4-5 OR SLIPS IN BETWEEN THE GEARS CAUSING THE ENGINE RPMS TO GO WAY UP AND THEN EITHER FALLS BACK INTO GEAR OR CAUSES A NEUTRAL AND WILL NOT GO BACK INTO GEAR UNTIL YOU EITHER DROP BELOW 18 MPH OR COMPLETELY STOP AND EITHER PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND BACK INTO DRIVE OR SHUT THE ENGINE OFF FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND START IT BACK UP. AFTER THE FLARE BETWEEN GEARS IT IS STUCK IN 3RD GEAR OR LIMP MODE WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DTC READ P0730 THROUGH P0735. LITERALLY HAVE TO CARRY A DIAGNOSTIC SCAN TOOL WITH ME TO CLEAR THE CODES. ITS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND ALWAYS HAPPENS IN THE WORST PLACES LIKE GETTING ON THE INTERSTATE OR ON BUSY CITY STREETS ALMOST CAUSES AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PULL OVER AND STOP NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE OR THE CONDITIONS AROUND YOU... THESE ARE ALL VERY COMMON ISSUES WITH THIS CAR, IT WOULD BE NICE IF CHRYSLER WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT...
THE SEAT BELT LIGHT IS ON AFTER THE SEAT BELT IS FASTENED KEEP RELAYING A MESSAGE ON THE EVIC SCREEN AS DRIVER SEAT BELT IS UNBUCKLED . SURE THIS WILL CAUSE THE SEAT BELT TO NOT OPERATE PROPERLY DURING A COLLISION. VERY BIG SAFETY CONCERN. RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2013 CHRYSLER 300 THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN HAVING CONSTANT STARTING ISSUES. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO AT LEAST 5 SHOPS AND EVERY SHOP IS TELLING ME THAT MY VEHICLE IS HAVING CODES COME BACK FOR THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: CONTROL MODULE (TCM, PCM) THE CAR HAS BEEN WORKED ON MULTIPLE TIMES AND I AM STILL UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I SEEN THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2013 CHRYSLER 300 FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE AND I BELIEVE MY VEHICLE MAY HAVE BEEN AFFECTED.
DIAGNOSTIC SHOWS MISFIRE IN CYLINDER 8. VEHICLE HAS 123,000 MILES ON IT. I AM TOLD IT IS A LIFTER OR CAM AND THAT I NEED A NEW ENGINE. THIS VEHICLE IS 7 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN MAINTAINED. AFTER READING REVIEWS THE HEMI ENGINE IS KNOWN TO BREAK DOWN. THE ESTIMATED COST FOR A NEW ENGINE APPROXIMATELY $ 7,000. VEHICLE ALL OF A SUDDEN IDLED VERY ROUGH TOOK IN AND MAJOR WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE. WISH CHRYSLER WOULD BACK THEIR VEHICLE.
I HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH HEADLIGHTS: AT NIGHT 1. LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO WEAK 2. HIGH BEAM DOES NOT ADD MUCH TO THE ALREADY WEAK DIMMED LOW BEAM. 3. CHRYSLER SHOULD RECALL THESE HEADLIGHTS FOR SAFETY CONCERNS.
AS I WAS DRIVING, ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON. I PULLED OVER PLACED THE CAR IN PARK, BUT THE CAR WAS STUCK IN THE RUN POSITION BUT WAS NOT RUNNING. I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY VIA THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL AND PROCEEDED TO RECONNECT IT. I HAVE POWER TO THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR LIGHTS GAS AND TRUNK DOOR, BUT NOTHING AS FAR AS CLUSTER PANEL OR STARTER BUTTON. I PLACED THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND PULLED IT HOME, THE DASH AND RADIO CAME ON, I ASSUME DUE TO THE WHEELS TURNING BRINGING POWER THROUGH THE ALTERNATOR. AFTER SOME THOROUGH RESEARCH, I FOUND THAT THERE WAS A FAULTY ALTERNATOR ON THESE CARS FOR RECALL.
I REPLACE THE BATTERY CUZ IT SEEM THAT IT WAGONG BAD DINT WANT TO START THE CAR AND AFTER RUNNING IT FOR A FEW MINUTES WHIT A NEW BATTERY IT DID THE SAME THE REMOTE START WAS WORKING THEN IT JUST STOP MY REVERSE CAMARA ALSO STOP WORKING MY RADIO SHUTS DOWN WHEN I TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AND IT DRAINS ON THE BATTERY FAST
IN MARCH 2019 I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE A CHROMED SECTION ON THE STEERING WHEEL WAS PEELING BACK AND HAD CAUSED ME TO CUT MY THUMB ON IT. THEY LOOKED AT THE CAR AND THEY ALSO CALLED ON MY EXTENDED WARRANTY AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED BECAUSE IT WAS COSMETIC IN NATURE. I TRIED WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE WARRANTY (ZURICH) PERSONNEL AND THEY SEEMED AT FIRST AS THOUGH THEY WOULD TRY TO ASSIST AND THEN DECIDED NOT TO. I DID NOT PURSUE IT ANY FURTHER SINCE. ABOUT A MONTH AGO I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND MY RIGHT HAND THUMB RAN ACROSS ANOTHER SECTION OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND IT PUT A CONSIDERABLE CUT IN MY THUMB. I HAVE A PHOTO OF THAT AS WELL AS THE PIECE THAT BROKE OFF IN MY THUMB. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT COSMETIC IN NATURE BUT REALLY IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS WHAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM BUT THE STEERING WHEEL HAS THE HEATED FEATURE AND I USE IT ALL THE TIME IN THE WINTER. IT DOES SEEM TO GET VERY WARM FROM THE HEAT AND I AM NOT SURE IF THAT COULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO THE PROBLEM. I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THE FACT THAT THIS PROBLEM IS SOMETHING THAT WILL CONTINUE TO GET WORSE OVER TIME AS THE CHROME PLATING CONTINUES TO PEEL AWAY. THE PROBLEM DOES NOT EXIST FROM NEGLECTFUL USE, IS VERY REAL, AND AGAIN SHOULD BE LOOKED AT FROM A SAFETY STANDPOINT. WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED, IT CAUSED A QUICK REACTION TO LOOK DOWN AT MY THUMB TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED AND CERTAINLY DISTRACTED MY DRIVING THAT SUDDENLY. THE LIFTERS IN THE CAR ARE TICKING AND STICKING. DEALER QUOTED $3500 TO REPAIR. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR 3 MONTHS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 83,000.
MY 18 YEAR OLD SON WAS DRIVING THE CAR AT ABOUT 40-50 MILES AN HOUR ON A VERY BUSY STREET IN BELLEVUE WASHINGTON, A CITY HE'S NOT FAMILIAR WITH WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY SHIFTED INTO PARK AND WOULD NO LONGER ACCELERATE. HE HAD TO THINK QUICKLY AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD HE WAS ABLE TO MOMENTARILY GET THE CAR IN DRIVE AND PULL OVER INTO A DRIVEWAY. ONCE STOPPED THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO ANY OTHER GEAR, IT WOULD REVERT BACK TO PARK REGARDLESS OF WHAT GEAR YOU SHIFTED IT INTO. WE TRIED TO SHIFT IT INTO DRIVE AND IT REVERTED BACK TO PARK. THIS IS THE SECOND VERY SERIOUS SITUATION I'VE HAD WITH THIS CAR. THE FUSE HAPPENS OVER A YEAR AGO WHEN THE CAR JUST STOPPED RUNNING IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING. I ALMOST GOT HIT BY A BUS BUT LUCKILY I WAS ALSO ABLE TO THINK QUICK ND TURN INTO A URGENT CARE PARKING LOT. IT WAS A FAULTY ALTERNATOR THAT WAS A PART OF A RECALL. I AM VERY SCARED TO DRIVE THIS CAR AND DO NOT WANT MY SO. TO EVER DRIVE IT. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A SECOND CAR FOR HIM TO DRIVE BUT ITS UNSAFE. I WANT CHRYSLER TO PAY ME OUT OF MY LOAN AS I NEVER WANT TO DRIVE THIS CAR AGAIN AND I STILL OWE $15,000 ON THIS CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NEW CARLISLE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM - TOBEY AUTO GROUP LOCATED AT (580 N MAIN ST, NEW CARLISLE, OH 45344) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER WAS DIRTY AND THAT A FAULT CODE WAS NOT RETRIEVED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
WIERD TYPE VIBRATION WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL WHEN CAR IS STATIONARY. FLUID LEAKING FROM WHEN CAR IS PARKED OIL OR TRANSMISSION FLUID. WAS A RECALL AT SOME POINT ON THE PLASTIC OIL PLUGS.
I TOOK IT IN FOR AIR BAG RECALL WHEN I GOT IT BACK IT NOW MAKES A CLICKING NOISE UNDER THE DASH. WHILE I DRIVE OR IDLE IT STARTS TO CLICK FOR ABOUT ONE MINUTE AND STOPS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,000.

THE CAR JUST STARTED LIKE IN THE VIDEO I SENT, WAS GOING TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER'S FROM SCHOOL WAS NOT ABLE TO CUS IT DIDN'T WANNA WORK RIGHT SO GOT THE ALTERNATOR REPAIRED, AND TOOK IT TO AUTOZONE AND GOT THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR TESTED BOTH PASSED SO THEY WERE GOOD AND IT DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE BOUGHT A REFURBISHED PCM AND ALSO DID NOT RESOLVE.MY PROBLEM SO I WAS TOLD THAT IT'S THE TIPM CAR HAS BEEN PARKED SINCE IT STARTED
TOUCH SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY FROZEN: UNABLE TO UTILIZE VOICE RECORDER AND BLUETOOTH WHICH IS NECESSARY FOR PHONE CALLS AND GPS. IT IS UNLAWFUL IN FLORIDA TO TEXT AND DRIVE. IT IS ALSO HAZARDOUS TO TEXT AND DRIVE. THEREFORE A BLUETOOTH IS NECESSARY
REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE DEVELOPED A CIRCULAR BULGE AROUND THE WHOLE TIRE SUDDENLY WHILE DRIVING ON VACATION, RIDE WAS VERY BUMPY AND LUCKILY THE TIRE DID NOT BLOW OUT. LOOKS LIKE A BELT INSIDE THE TIRE FAILED. HAD TO REPLACE THE TIRE. THEN TWO WEEKS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THE RIGHT REAR TIRE SO WILL THEN REPLACE THE REMAINING TIRES. The alternator ceased up on me while I was driving on 7/12/2019. This almost caused an accident! I was driving around 55MPH and the steering and brakes completely locked up. I couldn't turn the wheel or stop my car. Eventually I slowed down and barely got the steering wheel to turn so I wasn't stuck right on the highway. My car was towed to a mechanic that replaced the alternator. I later received a recall notice in the mail for the alternator and have been trying to get reimbursed.

THIS MAKES MY VEHICLE UNDRIVABLE DUE TO SAFETY REASONS FOR MY CHILDREN AND I. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER THOROUGHLY AS MY LIFE AND MY CHILDREN'S LIVES ARE AT RISK! AFTER FIRST RECALL WITH ALTERNATE ALL ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS STARTED TO FAIL SUSPENSION WAS GOING BAD

CRISWELL CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT (84 BUREAU DR, GAITHERSBURG, MD 20878, (301) 637-4198) DIAGNOSED THAT THE CYLINDER HEAD CAUSED THE FAILURES; HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO RECALL TO COVER THE REPAIR EXPENSES. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF AN UNKNOWN TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
THE UNDER SIDE OF THE FRONT END OF THE CAR - INCLUDING ALL SUSPENSION - CONTROL ARMS/BUSHINGS ARE COMPLETELY RUSTED/DRY ROTTED OUT ON THE CAR. THE DRIVERS SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THE CAR ONLY HAS 40,000 MILES. THIS WAS FIRST BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION AT 30,000 MILES THAT THERE WAS A TON OF RUST ON ALL THE COMPONENTS. WENT IN FOR AN ALIGNMENT AND WAS TOLD THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SITUATION HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE AND THE COST FOR REPAIR IS OVER $1000 FOR ONE SIDE. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE UNDER RECALL T36.
SPEED SENSOR AND SENSOR WHEEL HUB HAVE BEEN REPLACED ON TWO WHEELS TO REACTIVATE ABS AND SPEED CONTROL THAT FAILED. EQUIPMENT ERROR MESSAGE APPEARED ON MY DISPLAY SCREEN INFORMING ME OF THE FAILURE. CAR WAS MOVING WHEN THE MESSAGE APPEARED.
