There is a recall on my car. I’ve scheduled an appointment, but they will not provide me with a loaner. I have two jobs and I need a car and I can’t afford to pay for a a rental that’s why I work two jobs so I’d like to know what I’m supposed to do. My tags are due at the end of this month, which I’ve already paid for it, but I cannot receive them because of this recall so I need action.. i’ve tried to schedule appointment twice and they tell me that I need to call Chrysler which that’s who I’m calling and try to make arrangements for a loaner. This isn’t my mistake. It isn’t my problem. This is their problem. They need to provide me with a vehicle you’re not gonna take my car for three days when I have two jobs and no vehicle
The rear passenger door light on dash come on stating that the rear door is open and the interior dome light go to flashing as well. Recall .
Unknown. The car shut off while driving. Flashing a code put in park and the D on the shifter knob was flashing. Vehicle wouldn't start for about 30 minutes. It was making a loud noise while trying to restart. Then it ran like normal after that. We are not shure but we think the fuel gage and low fuel light are not working properly. We put a few gallons of fuel in it and it started normally with no no loud noise.

Smell of straight gas coming through the car when accelerating, then checked if there was a recall and there was. Spoke to Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and said they don’t have the parts available for the recall.
The cruise system malfunctioned. In multiple scenarios (at least three) when the cruise control was set, if the accelerator is pushed while the cruise control is engaged, the vehicle will continue to accelerate even if the accelerator is released. Disengaging the cruise control via brake usage or by hand on the steering wheel does not stop the unwanted acceleration. The only way to stop the acceleration is to move it from in Drive to Neutral. At that point, an error populates on the dash and the acceleration stops with cruise control disengagement as well. The issue is fixed upon placing the car back in Drive. Unsolicited acceleration puts the driver and others on the road at risk. The issue has not been presented to a dealer or service center for review and has not been inspected by other entities. No dash messages or warnings occurred prior to the failure.
Vehicle experiences sudden Auto-Park engagement, hard shifting, and loss of gear engagement. Code P0700 present. Issue began after A/C compressor failure. Safety risk includes sudden deceleration and loss of control.”

Safety Recall 19B/NHTSA 24V-198/SABIC Inflator. Two (2) recall notices have been received (March 2024 and May 2025). A local Chicago area dealership, Tyson Chrysler, advises that replacement parts have not been received for the 2019 model vehicles, but have been received for model years 2020 and 2021. As a result, the potential danger associated with possible rupture of the SABIC Inflator Curtains in my 2019 Chrysler 300S continues to exist, and may lead to catastrophic failure and personal injury as the vehicle repair remains unresolved.

Safety recall and no remedy and my family doesn’t feel safe to drive in it
The contact owns a 2019 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while her son was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. As a result of the failure, the contact's son pushed the vehicle to the side of the roadway. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a general electrical failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for assistance. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, who confirmed the diagnosis. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 84,000.
It is obvious that this 2019 Chrysler 300 has the defects that a recall was issued by the NHSTA about. My electrical systems have malfunctioned multiple times causing the vehicle to lock up and die in traffic. The power steering would go out. The car wouldn’t want to shift. Anything and everything that could read information out wrong was going off. The check engine light. The brake system. Transmission. Etc. just everything was lit up on the dash. The car would lock and unlock on its own. The windshield wipers would come on and turn off by themselves. The transmission is electric too, and it would want to lock up when you tried to shift it to park. This car has truly been a nightmare for me. I was the second owner. It was sold to me by Crain Ford of Little Rock. I was never told anything about any recall.
The battery is in the trunk. If it is dead, the trunk open button in the car won't work and there is no place to use a key in the trunk to open it. You have to go into the front door, crawl through the inside of the car, open the back seat, crawl through the opening and pull the trunk release handle INSIDE the trunk. Then you can either charge or replace the battery. I am 78 and can not physically do this. It is a real safety issue if I am stranded away from a garage or in a bad area and I am not able to get the car started with a dead battery. I have been without the use of my car for a week while I try to get someone to replace the battery.02172023
We were in an accident where we were Tboned and a car ran a red light at 50 miles bet hour hitting us on the passenger side and not one airbag in my vehicle went off.
Sunroom leaking from rear interior lights when raining. Possible electrical issues. Occurs always upon raining. Chrysler has inspected the vehicle and started it’s the gasket that needs replacing. This began approximately Feb 1, 2023.
The contact owns a 2019 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the seat belt inadvertently disconnected. Upon reconnecting the seat belt, the seat belt seemed to return to normal functionality. The contact stated that the failure had become a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000.
NO BACKUP CAMERA DEAD RADIO SCREEN SECOND OCCURENCE CAR DEALER NOTIFIED
This has happened a few times. First , I started my car, after being driven for awhile, then it immediately shutoff and the abs system, traction control, emergency brake, and other lights lit up on my dash and showed in messages “service power steering,” “service abs system,” and “service electronic stability control.” Meanwhile, my power steering goes out, brakes, and air conditioning stop working with all the lights on my dash lit. Then, when you park and turn it off, it won’t start again. Doesn’t even try to start. This also has happened while driving and I had no choice, but to drive it or be stuck an hour from home at 1am. This not only puts others in danger, but myself with no brakes and power steering.

So , when I am finishing a call and I try to hang up, it freezes the screen up. When this happens the call counter on the screen is still going like I am on the call when I am not. I have to disconnect my phone in order to use it. Then I have to pull over and go in the trunk and pull the radio fuss out so that it will clear everything out and then I can reconnect my phone and use the hands free again. When it freezes up , I can change anything, none of the buttons on the screen will works and the screen gets really hot to touch. Secondly when I go to crank my car sometimes whether it is a cold crank or not it may a hitting nose and it sound like it is coming from the back left side. That can happen several times a day or sometimes it doesn't happen at all. This is a new car for me so I don't know why I am having these problems and I work hard to finally be able to afford what I like for it to give me problems from the start. I have reached out to the dealership where I got it from but haven't hear anything back and the has been happening for a while. Please help. So many dates so I am just going to put the last time it happened but the problem started late November 2020 when I got the car.

The forward collision warning (FCW) system does not function as designed. It is supposed to give visual and audible warnings as well as apply the brakes (if so selected). The system on my car gives the visual and audible warnings, but does not apply the brakes. I have experienced this several times since I have owned the car. I took it to the Chrysler dealer on 12/11/2020 and again on 3/28/2022 for this issue and their response both times was "there are no stored codes in the module and it is unsafe to test the system. Therefore the system is working as designed."
I was in a "at fault" accident in Sept 2020 in my new car because the instrument panel failed to stay on started glitching while on the freeway hit tire in the road. Car insurance went up because of the points against my record. The Chrysler Corp has a recall on the same make and model but not my VIN number. My car is experiencing the same problems as the recall. I need the insurance company to remove the points and sue Chrysler for this accident that was very dangerous. I have videos of the car still glitching while Im driving for a few seconds to a few minutes at a time. Driving at night with the instrument panel glitching is very dangerous and I need help.
Within the first year I had the vehicle each of the head lights failed. Still under warranty the Dealer determined that the fuses were bad and charged me $90 each time to replace the fuses. I now have an issue with the passenger side head light. Initially it was an interment off-on condition. Now it is continuously off. I have not had this one fixed yet. but I suspect that the fuse block is defective and is not securing the fuse (ie a loose connection), which would be evident.by signs of arcing between the fuse tang and the fuse block contacts. Minor arcing between the two contacts would diminish current flow between the contacts until the light would no longrer come on.
