FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED DURING FRONTAL IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE FRONT SEAT BELTED PASSENGER WAS PERMANENTLY BLINDED BY THE AIR BAG. THE AIRBAG STRUCK THE REAR VIEW MIRROR ON THE WINDSHIELD AND BROKE IT FROM THE MOUNT CAUSING HALF THE MIRROR TO IMPACT FRONT SEATED PASSENGER'S FACE. PASSENGER TOTALLY BLIND AS A RESULT.
THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD ONE MAJOR ISSUE WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM. WHEN THE FUEL GAUGE GETS TO HALF WAY, THE GAUGE DROPS TO E AND DOES NOT WANT TO ACCEPT GAS. IT ACTS LIKE IT'S FULL AND YOU CAN BARELY PUT ANY GAS IN. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE VEHICLE ACTS LIKE IT'S OUT OF GAS EVEN WHEN IT'S NOT CAUSING ME TO RUN OUT OF GAS WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND SOMETIMES THE CAR WON'T EVEN START WHEN IT DROPS BELOW HALF WAY.ALSO, MY ODOMETER READS GASCAP LIKE THERE'S A LEAK BUT IT'S A BRAND NEW GAS CAP. I'VE READ DAYS WORTH OF INFORMATION ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB AND THIS IS THE MOST COMMON ISSUE BUT NOONE HAS DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS NOT FAIR TO THE CONSUMER. I KNOW I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER AND I WILL WARN OTHERS NOT TO ALSO. NOT ONLY THAT BUT MY SEATBELTS DO NOT WORK ANYMORE, TWO OF THEM ANYWAY. MY KIDS HAVE TO SIT IN THE FAR BACK TO BUCKLE UP. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED. I'VE HAD THE FUEL PUMPS REPLACED, THE VAPOR CANISTER AND VAPOR FILTER REPLACED, GAS CAP, ECT. NOTHING REPAIRS THE ISSUE. I KNOW NOW WHY THE PREVIOUS OWNER GAVE IT UP, IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY A DOWN PAYMENT, I WOULD HAVE ALREADY LET IT GO BACK.
IT WAS RAINING OUT AND I WAS DECREASING SPEED PULLING INTO A TURNING LANE, THE CAR LOST STEERING AND BRAKES UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GET IT OFF THE ROAD AND TURN IT OFF AND RESTART IT.
WHEN IT IS HOT OR WHEN HEAT IS ON FOR A WHILE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AND SUN ROOF LEAK AS A RESULT IT SMELLS LIKE MILDEW IN MY CAR I DON'T REMOVER EXACT DAY BUT THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN HAPPEN EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR LAST YEAR ..BUT LAST GUY ONLY CAM ON ONCE IN A WHILE AND SUN ROOF WAS STAINED BUT NEVER LEAKED AS BAD AS NOW BUT ALWAYS LEAKED IN PASSENGER SIDE FRONT THIS YEAR IT HAS RAIN MORE SO I CAN SEE IT AND MY CAR SMELLS
WHILE STOPPED AT INTERSECTION A VEHICLE TRAVELING AT 40 TO 60 MPH TRIED TO TURN THE CORNER AND STRUCK OUR VEHICLE IN THE LEFT FRONT CORNER. THE COLLISION TOTALED THE VEHICLE MAKING THE TURN. AT THIS TIME THE INSURANCE CO. HASN'T DECIDED WHETHER TO TOTAL OURS OR NOT. THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH FRONT AIR BAGS, UNDER DASH LEG AIR BAGS AND FULL SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS. NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT WITH THE DIRECTION OF THE IMPACT THAT ALL AIR BAGS WOULD HAVE DEPLOYED, INSTEAD OF NONE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT WAS KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS AS THE VEHICLE CONTINUED UNTIL CRASHING INTO A TREE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND AWAITING INSPECTION. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 92,000.

I WAS HIT FROM BEHIND AND MY VEHICLE HIT MULTIPLE TREES BEFORE CRASHING INTO A LARGER ONE, STOPPING MY VEHICLE. MY HEAD HIT AND BROKE THE WINDSHIELD. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. BOTH VEHICLES SUSTAINED DAMAGES. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED SEVERE NECK AND SHOULDER INJURIES. THE POLICE, FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AMBULANCE WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE CONTACT IS WAITING ON A RESPONSE FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY REGARDING THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGES. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 36,000.
