This has been ever since I got my van. Sometime when I drive my lights come on and it goes into limp mode. Most of the time. When I start my van my lights will turn on. I have to turn my car off . Then start again to get my van riding correctly. The other day I was making a U-turn and my engine stalled and I was almost hit by a truck.
After taking my car in for the recall on the battery which required a system update, I’ve had multiple errors that the Chrysler service department cannot resolve. Four times in the last two weeks when I get in the car and crank it, it will not go into drive or the shifter does not work at all. I’m having multiple errors on saying service shifter and service electrical battery that had never occurred before the system recall update. I’ve been stranded multiple times in the last two weeks. It must be related to the recall update that was done in my car. It cannot be a sheer coincidence that I never had issues until the update. The service department is not helpful in anyway and returns my car with no answer. Simple google research shows this is a recurring issue after the update.
During normal driving from office to home car suddenly started stuttering and I was apply break but speeded up and showed engine light on, I was about to hit front car due to additional speed. During that time I saw few quick messages on the dashboard, the one that I can remember was related with ACC. That's the dangerous situation. I looked d from OBD and found that code was U0412 and reported that code to Huntington Beach Chrysler service station. Please keep an eye out for some similarities between others reports.
Component failute: first the cruse control would stop working while driving. then the engine would rive way up while trying to accelerate and not gain much speed, gas mpg dropped. when breaking to stop i had to push the break pedal harder. when the cruse had stopped and i shut the engine off, it was hard to start, and would bump and shake as if it was hitting on 2 cylinders, cruse still would not work. after i made it home, the next time i started it, it was ok, then the last time i parked it the brake will not depress and it will not start. battery has 12 volts, jumped it anyway break still want depress. took battery cables off shorted them together , did not help. break pedal still will not depress.
I am having an issue with the monitor in vehicle. For several months now have and issue with the backup camera some times working and sometimes it doesn't. It will sometimes be gray or black but will show the lane lines but no outside picture. It will also sometimes show the backup camera but it will be froze and does not move with the vehicle. Saturday had and issue where the monitor was ghost touching the buttons on the screen; it was turning the channel and also changing the air conditioner. I had to cut the radio and monitor off so the air would work properly. was reading online where some people were having this same issue and was saying it was being recalled for software issues, but with my vin number shows no recalls at all. just wondering if this is a issue that should be recalled on these vehicles or if there is another reason for it. If it happens again I will surely get pictures or video evidence since there is an option on here for it.

After safety recall 72B was performed on my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid on 7/17/25, the vehicle's check engine light illuminated and it began experiencing charging failures. I've never experienced these issues prior to the recall being performed and the vehicle returned to me. The component that has failed is the high-voltage (HV) battery pack and its control system. Diagnostic scans performed by a Chrysler dealer on 7/29/25 confirmed trouble codes, which indicate a critical fault within the battery system. The HV battery is available for inspection upon request. My safety and the safety of others are at risk because the recall was issued to prevent a battery fire. The symptoms my vehicle is exhibiting are precisely the kinds of faults the recall's software update is supposed to detect. The first warning signs, including the check engine light, appeared within days of the recall service. This strongly indicates the recall procedure, specifically the mandatory battery integrity test, was not completed correctly by the dealership. This is a widespread issue, with numerous owners reporting the same post-recall failures online and to Chrysler Cares customer service. Chrysler is not taking this failed recall seriously and are forcing owners to pay for their own rental vehicles while they investigate the "undriveable" vans post-recall completion.
While stopped at a red light my van alerted me that the start/Stop feature was not working, turned itself off and put the van in Park causing much confusion and my almost getting reended as I was unsure what to do.
The infotainment system keeps resetting with screen going black and restarting. This is distracting and I lose data such as directions if I am using navigation. This could lead to driver distraction and risk of accidents. I think that this is a firmware issue and UConnect should provide a fix.
Shifter service keeps coming on. Won’t move out of park. Warning lights come on for service engine, fwc, have been brought to dealer 2 times already. They say multiple vans have been brought in for same issue and don’t know how to fix. They are saying they got it and next morning same issue. Photos attached. Plus a bill for $1500 and still not fixed.
On multiple occasions my warning lights come on and my van goes into limp mode. It says it’s my throttle body and gas paddle but I had those put on. Some days the car runs perfectly fine. When the problem happens. I have to cut the car off then restart it. Sometimes it’s ride just a little. Then go back into limp mode. And other times it’s just ride perfectly normal for days. It’s been doing this since I had around 65000 miles on my van.
The rear lift gate alarm will randomly fail to work causing a risk of someone having something closed up or pinched in the lift gate. If you google the issue for the van there are numerous forum posts of people having the same problem. When it first started to fail it was intermittent and there was no indication as to it failing. Now it has failed completely and never works. The part to fix it is back ordered by mopar and hasn't been available for a long time to fix it.
I’m having trouble with my start stop. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes my motor goes into limp mode for no reason.
My vehicle suddenly lost power driving down the road at approximately 20MPH. I rolled to the side and the vehicle engaged the electronic parking brake. It's been at Chrysler dealership for over a week and is now a STARS case according to my service rep. .
While driving down the road and slowing down the van put itself into park and shut off. Had to then restart the van.
Chrysler issued recall 72B back in July but has failed to provide a repair solution to the issue of a high voltage battery fire. They have advised to park the vehicle away from structures and to not charge. It's disappointing not to have a resolution or fix for this issue, especially going into the colder months and not being able to use the vehicle as intended.
While driving, vehicle will display "stop safely vehicle will stop soon" and illuminate the battery and auto stop/start icons. This had happened previously and I was advised to have the auxillary battery replaced. After, the issue did not occur for a month or so but happened again. Had been intermittent but the car never shut off as I have read has happened to others. The additional issue I have is several times when I turned the vehicle off after the warning appeared, the vehicle would not start. I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow to see what they can uncover. I have seen the recalls about this primarily about the EV models (which mine is not) but still want this noted. I have read it has varied from a wiring connector and needing a new transmission. There are currently no active recalls for my specific vehicle. Very scary stuff with a vehicle full of kids at times.
The contact owns a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while at a traffic light, the on and off switch failed to turn off. While driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle shut off unintendedly. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System). The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.
Radio Uconnect resets every 3 to 5 minutes. When this happens screen goes black. If backing no warning on what is behind you. GPS is resetting with wrong location. Wireless calls stop. This has been a problem across all FCA brands and an issue since 2017. I had 2018 Pacifica with same issues. I believe there are two class action lawsuits over this problem. I had to pay $650 to replace radio. No help from Chrysler customer cares NO HELP.
The following message displays on the vehicle: “Stop Safely. Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon.” Upon receiving the message, the vehicle will stall. This has occurred multiple times while driving on the freeway at 70 mph, while driving on city streets, etc. Every time the vehicle stalls, it is INCREDIBLY dangerous. There is not always time to pull over to a safe location as the vehicle simply freezes up and won't move. This is a van which means that there could often be children in the vehicle. It is a danger to ourselves and to other vehicles around us. We were first told that this was an issue with wiring in the battery. The second time we took it in, we were told that it was because the auxiliary battery needed to be replaced. Now, we're told that we need to replace the generator. Please note that the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica has known electronic issues with the vehicle stalling. The vehicle is at a Chrysler Dealership for the third time this month for diagnostic evaluation and repairs. The error message has been confirmed by the dealership.
