TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE CHALLENGER. -THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING FUNCTION DID NOT WORK.WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. -NO PULSATING WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED ( WET PAVEMENT ) -ABS ( ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM -THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN TO MERGE ON TO A HIGHWAY ( WT GROUND ), THE BRAKE PEDAL DID NOT PULSATE AND TRAVELED ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE FINALLY STOPPED AND WAS DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1900.
CAR IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. MULTIPLE OCCURRENCES- WHEN EMERGENCY BREAK IS SET AND THE ENGINE IS OFF AND IN PARK THE CAR WILL STILL ROLL BY ITSELF. COMPLAINED TO DODGE, DODGE SAYS SOFTWARE ISSUE AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. STILL HAPPENING, I AM LUCKY IT DID NOT HIT A CAR BUT TODAY (2/22/18) IT HIT A TREE- ROLLED 2 FEET BACK. THERE IS A RECALL OUT THERE FOR THE 2017 MODEL BUT I REALLY FEEL MULTIPLE YEARS ARE EFFECTED. ACTUAL CAR IS A SCAT PACK. WHEN I LOOKED ON LINE SEVERAL PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH A CHALLENGER ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE, ALSO WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BODY WORK BUT I FEEL DODGE SHOULD BE LIABLE.
2015 challenger, wheel speed sensor failures starting at year two. Have replaced wheel speed sensors on 5 separate occasions. It has affected all wheel speed sensors and fron passenger replaced twice. All replacement parts are from dealer and are geniuine mopar replacements. Seems to be a very common issue, the parts are typically on backorder and it can be caused simply by going through a car wash.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE CHALLENGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM AND ELECTRICAL STABILIZER CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR FLASHED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (UNIVERSAL CHRYSLER/DODGE IN ROME, GEORGIA) THE FOLLOWING DAY FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM SENSOR WAS DAMAGED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
