WAS DRIVING WIPERS STARTED GOING REAL FAST , AN ONCE I SHUT MY CAR OFF THEY WONT TURN ON AT ALL NOW
AIRBAGS: I'VE NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ON THE AIRBAGS. SHOULD I HAVE? REAR QUARTER VENT WINDOW SWITCH: I HAVE TAKEN MY VAN TO 1ST COCHRAN AUTOMOTIVE IN NATRONA HEIGHTS, PA. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART TO REPLACE THE FAULTY ONE, SO THEY DISCONNECTED THE REAR WINDOW SWITCH. I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL RECALL NOTICES ON THIS PART SINCE, BUT 1ST COCHRAN NEVER HAS THE PART NEEDED IN STOCK. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS FIXED. THEY CANNOT TELL ME WHEN THE PART WILL COME IN, AND THEY WILL NOT CALL ME WHEN IT COMES IN, CAN YOU HELP ME? I WOULD LIKE TO GO ON RECORD THAT DODGE IS NOT PROVIDING ITS DEALERS ENOUGH PARTS TO FIX THE RECALL PROBLEM, AND THERE SEEMS TO BE NOTHING WE CAN DO TO CORRECT THIS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE ANTIFREEZE LEAKED ALL OVER THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEATER HOSE ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE HOSE WAS REPLACED BY THE CONTACT, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, HE SMELLED A BURNING ODOR AND NOTICED SMOKE EMITTING FROM THE REAR WINDOW POWER SWITCH. THERE WERE NO VISIBLE FLAMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT THE REAR WINDOW POWER SWITCH WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE MECHANIC DISABLED AND REMOVED THE POWER WINDOW SWITCH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,795.
MY FACTORY INSTALLED SUNROOF HAS LEAKED SEVERAL TIMES FLOODING THE INSIDE OF THE VAN WITH AS MUCH AS 1 1/2" OF WATER COLLECTING IN THE CONSOLE. WATER POURS OUT OF THE ELECTRICAL CONSOLE ON THE CEILING OF THE VAN AND MORE SERIOUSLY THE BUTTON ON THE DOOR JAMS FROM WHERE THE SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOY. ALSO ON TO THE DASH SEEPING IN TO ELECTRONIC STUFF INSIDE THE DASH. MY MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN IS FOR ELECTRIC FIRES AND MORE IMPORTANT FOR THE AIRBAGS(HAVE THEY GOTTEN WET? HAS THE ELECTRICS INVOLVED GOTTEN WET? WHAT MIGHT THAT CAUSE?) WHICH I FEEL MAY BE COMPROMISED CAUSING THEM TO MALFUNCTION WHEN NEEDED. *TR
