On the morning of March 27, 2026 I had an unexpected rear driver side break line blowout with out warning or indication of a broken/damaged break line. Luckily the line blew while I was traveling slowly into my work yard. This could have been a life threating failure, I live 13 miles away from the nearest town, which i have to drive everyday to pick up my daughter from school. The road is not only a 2 way road with the speed limit to 55, but at times its extremely curvy and dangerous. Ford should be ashamed that a multi billion dollar company is not willing to fix this and are willing to put families live in jeopardy. I had to get the car towed from my house to BIG Brand Tire where the technician confirmed that the break line in fact did burst causing my breaks to fail. Big Brand Tire charged me $357.91 and the tow charged me 30 due to how far i had to tow it.
i was in a motor vehicle accident on a highway, with speeds greater than 50mph. A car struck my driver side door. My car, spun, with my head hitting the driver side door top trim. Air bags did not deploy.
On March 22, 2026, I was returning home from a trip to visit my mother in Colorado. The wind in Kansas was horrible on that day. While in the middle of the state, one of the panels around the sunroof on my 2015 Ford Edge CAME OFF of my car and shattered in the road behind me. Moments later, 3 other panels blew off and shattered on the road. I was in shock! Someone could have been killed or severely injured! I am still in shock! The next day, Monday the 23rd, I took the car over to James River Ford near my house and had them look at it. They stated that they had never seen this before. All but one of the panels around the sunroof had come off! They looked up recalls for me, but none were on the sunroof panels. Again, I was in shock. How could a car have been designed such that there was the possibility that the ROOF of the car could come off randomly while driving down the highway? I looked online and there was a lot of talk on how these panels are NOTORIOUS for coming off! There are multiple stories of issues with these panels. I purchased this car used and would have preferred to NOT have a sunroof, but I really liked the rest of the car. In fact, the sunroof did not work properly when I first purchased the car, so I chose not to even use it. Now, to have the panels rip off and shatter on the road is extremely alarming and frustrating! Most importantly, I need to know that Ford understands the dangers of these poorly designed panels around their panoramic sunroof! No “special” sunroof design is worth the dangers that these can cause if they come off. I do not see other vehicles around with these types of panels. I reached out to Ford online on March 23rd and April 2nd. Of course, nothing really came of that, which is why I am reached out and sent them a certified letter. I am extremely disappointed with my vehicle at this point. Fixing it will be expensive, so I may just drive around without panels so that people can see what happen
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V544000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while her mother was driving 30 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to respond. The brake fluid warning light was illuminated. The driver pumped the brake pedal to the floorboard, and the vehicle slowly responded. The driver pulled over to the side of the road. The contact added brake fluid to the vehicle and test-drove the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact noticed that the brake fluid was leaking while depressing the brake pedal. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The contact was advised that the vehicle would be repaired at the owner's expense, and reimbursement would be provided once the recall remedy was available. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
See attached document for complaint. I received notice back in September of 2025 of the two recalls noted above. I have not received notice that the parts are available. I have called my dealer, Huntington Beach Ford and first they said they had the parts for recall 25V572. I took my car in and later in the day was told they do not have the parts. In the meantime, they tried to upsell me on service issues not related to the recall. I have been a loyal customer of both Ford Motor Company and Huntington Beach Ford. I must tell you that my loyalty is being tested. I think this is unacceptable and I would like to know when I can expect to get my car fixed.

My 2015 Ford Edge suddenly turned into a nightmare on what started as a normal drive. I noticed the temperature gauge climbing quickly, the engine started overheating, and then the check engine light came on. Almost at the same time, the engine began feeling like it was slipping—power dropped off, it hesitated and ran rough under acceleration, almost as if the transmission were slipping, but it was the engine itself struggling from poor lubrication. Turns out coolant had gotten into the oil (a pretty common headache with these 3.5L V6 models, often from a failing internal water pump). The mixture turned my oil into a gross, milky sludge that couldn't lubricate the engine properly anymore, leading to overheating and a slipping sensation as things started to bind up inside. I had to pull over quickly before it got even worse—definitely not something I want to go through again.
I was backing out of my driveway and I went about ten feet and my vehicle stopped i then put it in drive and it wouldn’t go anywhere ,i then put back in reverse and it wouldn’t go backwards either i shut the vehicle off and called triple aaa to get my vehicle towed.while I was waiting I started it up again and the i saw lit up on my dashboard Awd malfunction so I shut it off again.the tow company brought my vehicle to a service station up the street so they could look at it .They diagnosed it and on January 29th they said my rear differential needed to be replaced and the cost was going to be $3500 which included labor with all the issues with ford I checked to see if there was a recall there wasn’t but there were other people complaining about this when u look up problems with 2015 ford edge sel. There was no warning message prior to this happening.I do have to get this fixed it’s my only car. Please help this is extremely expensive especially for a senior citizen

2.0L EcoBoost engine and coolant intrusion. Coolant leaked into two of the cylinder heads, resulting in engine failure and the need for a full engine replacement.Initially, the vehicle would not start. A tow company technician was able to get the vehicle started, after which I was advised to drive directly to my mechanic. I was informed that the exhaust smelled like diesel fuel and that if the engine were shut off, it was highly unlikely to restart. At that point, the check engine light illuminated. The dealership confirmed the coolant instrusion and the need for a new engine.
We were on a Family road trip when issues popped up. Car was engine was buzzing and jumping in gears when started up and running rough. No check engines lights showed up. But we decided to drop it off at a dealership in Grants Pass Oregon to get checkout as we didnt feel safe driving it home. They say it is the transmission going bad. We were hundreds of miles away from home and driving over the cascade pass when this was occurring. 1\3\26

Coolant intrusion
Long block repair due to coolant instrusion which is a known issue with this ford edge model. Dealership is quoting me $8468.16 to replace. Per their diagnosis they found coolant intrusion in cylinder 1 combustion chamber. TSB states replace long block assembly and retest. I was driving the car and it started feeling like it was skipping. I immediately returned home as I had just left the house and parked it. When I parked the check engine light came on. My husband noticed blowback in the oil and we called a tow truck driver to tow the vehicle to the dealership.
