JUST PURCHASED A 2005 ESCAPE XLT A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND SINCE DAY 1 THE CD SYSTEM INADVERTANTELY FADES IN & OUT TO THE POINT WHERE IT LOSES ALL BASE AND SOUNDS LIKE IT'S IN A TUNNEL AT TIMES. THIS LAST FOR APPROXIMATELY 4-5 MINUTES AND THEN THE NORMAL VOLUME/SOUND RETURNS, ONLY FOR IT TO OCCUR AGAIN A FEW MINUTES LATER. CONCERN HERE IS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WHICH COULD BE CAUSING OTHER ISSUES. HAVE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR EXAMINATION.*AK
MY WIFE STARTED OUR 2005 ESCAPE AND PLACED OUR GRANDAUGHTER IN HER CAR SEAT. MY WIFE SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING AND WHEN SHE LOOKED OUT HER WINDOW, SHE NOTICED THE DRIVER'S SIDE MIRROR WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES. SHE QUICKLY SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF, REMOVED MY CRYING GRANDAUGHTER FROM HER SEAT, AND ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE FLAMES OUT. SHE EVENTUALLY SUCCEEDED, BUT NOT BEFORE THE HEAT CRACKED THE MIRROR AND MELTED THE HOUSING. I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO A FORD DEALERSHIP, AND IT WAS DISCOVERED (AND NOTED) THAT THE HEATING ELEMENT INSIDE THE MIRROR MELTED AND STARTED THE FIRE. PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND SENT TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY FOR REPAIR AUTHORIZATION. FORD RESPONDED WITH A LETTER TO ME, TITLED "GENERAL RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS," AND DIRECTED ME TO SIGN IT BEFORE REPAIRS COULD BE AUTHORIZED. I DID NOT SIGN THE LEGAL DOCUMENT, AS I WAS UNSURE OF THE MEANING OF ALL THE LEGAL TERMS. ON 18 FEB 05, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM FORD MOTOR COMAPANY CONSUMER AFFAIRS CALLED ME. (VINCENT D. KIRKSEY) HE WAS VERY RUDE AND DEMANDING. HE BASICALLY TOLD ME I HAD TWO OPTIONS: EITHER SIGN THE FORM AND HAVE FORD REPAIR MY VEHICLE, OR HE WOULD RESCIND THE "OFFER" AND MAKE ME GO THROUGH MY INSURANCE COMPANY. I ASKED HIM SEVERAL TIMES WHAT THE FORM WAS FOR, AND HE REPLIED IT WAS NECESSARY TO AUTHORIZE THE REPAIR AND THAT IS WAS A POLICY OF FORD WITH THIS TYPE OF INCIDENT. I TOLD HIM IT SOUNDED LIKE I HAD A THIRD OPTION - HE TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD AND USE IT - HE WAS RESCINDING FORD'S OFFER TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE UNDER WARRANTY. I AM CONCERNED WITH MY FAMILY'S SAFETY - WE NOW DRIVE OUR 2005 ESCAPE WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER IN THE VEHICLE - WE DO NOT WANT TO BURN UP OR HAVE OUR VEHICLE DESTROYED.
RIGHT REAR PASSENGER DOOR LATCH BROKE AND DOOR CAME OPEN WHILE DRIVING . WE HAD TO SECURE DOOR WITH A NYLON STRAP TO GET TO OUR DESTINATION .IT IS A GOOD THING WE ARE FIRM BELIEVERS IN SEAT BELT USE OR THIS MIGHT HAVE ENDED IN A TRAGEDY AS THE SEAT NEXT TO DOOR WAS OCCUPIED. *NM
TRANSMISSION FAILED. FORTUNATELY IT FAILED BEFORE THE TRAFFIC LIGHT TURNED GREEN RELEASING THE TRAFFIC HEADED TOWARD THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IN WHATEVER GEAR IT WAS IN HOME. THE VEHICLE CEASED GOING INTO GEAR AND WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE VEHICLE WAS 15 DAYS OLD AND HAD 1326 MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES ON IT WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE DEALERSHIP HAS INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS THE CLUTCH IN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. PARTS WERE ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER. CAR HAS BEEN IN DEALERSHIP FOR 16 DAYS. VEHICLE STILL AWAITING PARTS FOR REPAIR. *NM
TWO TIMES WHEN I WAS DRIVING UNDER SLOW CONDITIONS (IN PARKING LOTS) THE ENGINE ON 2005 FORD ESCAPE XLT LURCHED FORWARD ACCELATORATING ON IT'S OWN. THE FIRST TIME I HAD JUST RELEASED THE BRAKE AS I WAS TURNING A CORNER IN A BANK PARKING LOT. THE ENGINE IMMEDIATELY REVED UP HIGH AND THE VEHICLE "TOOK OFF". I QUICKLY APPLIED THE BRAKES WHICH AFTER A COUPLE SECONDS SEEMED TO KNOCK THE ENGINE BACK DOWN TO A NORMAL IDLE. THE SECOND TIME, AGAIN I WAS COASTING IN A PARKING LOT, ATTEMPTING TO TURN INTO A PARKING SPACE, WHEN THE ENGINE REVED UP HIGH AND THE VEHICLE AGAIN TOOK OFF. I SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND THE ENGINE RETURNED TO NORMAL IDLE. BUT FOR THE LUCK OF NO OTHER VEHICLES OR PEOPLE AROUND WHEN THE INCIDENTS HAPPEND, NO ACCIDENTS OCCURED. I REPORTED THE PROBLEM AND TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT BUT BECAUSE THE PROBLEM DID NOT OCCUR FOR THE TECHNICIAN, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. I AM REPORTING THIS, BECAUSE I KNOW THE PROBLEM OCCURRED, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE AND IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION. *AK
WE PURCHASED A 2005 FORD ESCAPE LIMITED FROM COURTESY FORD IN PORTLAND, OREGON, ON AUGUST 29, 2004. THE CAR IS GETTING 11/12 MPG IN THE CITY AND 17 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND AFTER SOME TESTING THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIX THIS DEFECT. SINCE YOU ADVERTISE 18 MPG/24 MPG AND THAT WE BASED OUR PURCHASE DECISION UPON THAT FACTOR, I WOULD LIKE THIS PROBLEM FIXED. WE EITHER GOT A LEMON OR YOU'RE GUILTY OF DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. EITHER WAY, IT DOESN'T MAKE ME WANT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER FORD OR RECOMMEND FORD TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I AM LOOKING IN TO MY OPTIONS, AND AM CONTACTING YOU BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE WHAT FORD DOES IN THESE INSTANCES -- HOW WELL DO YOU STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT? YOU'VE GOT A GREAT WEBSITE AND DEVOTE SPACE TO YOUR "ENVIRONMENTAL WORKS"... WELL GUESS WHAT? 11 MPG IS NOT GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT -- A HUMMER GETS BETTER MILEAGE THAN MY CAR AT THIS POINT. I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU THIS WEEK. I WOULD LIKE ONE OF THREE THINGS TO HAPPEN. 1) FIX THE CAR SO IT GETS THE ADVERTISED MILEAGE; 2)REPLACE THE CAR WITH ONE THAT DOES GET THE ADVERTISED MILEAGE; OR 3) GIVE US A FULL REFUND. *JB
CAR SEIZED TO RUN ON STREET. TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 170 MILES. *AK
WHEN BRAKING AT A STOP SIGN OR A TRAFFIC LIGHT THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD CONSTANTLY GO TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE IS AT THE DEALER, AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL UNDETERMINED.*AK A SEVERE GRINDING NOISE IS HEARD WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL IS GETTING SOFT WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. *TC...*AK
COMPLAINT RECEIVED VIA E-MAIL. THE FRONT WHEEL ASSEMBLY CAME APART WHILE DRIVING, THUS CAUSING ANOTHER VEHICLE DAMAGE AS WELL. NO CONTACT WAS WITH THIS CAR UNTIL AFTER PARTS CAME OFF THE ESCAPE, CAUSING US TO LOSE CONTROL AND CROSS THE CENTER LINE. THERE HAS BEEN NO REMEDY FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY AT ALL TO FIX MY CAR. FORD WILL NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS A DEFECT IN WORKMANSHIP OR IN MANUFACTURING. *AK
I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND MY ENGINE STALLED. I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALER AND THEY INDICATE A LOOSE BATTERY CABLE WAS THE CAUSE. A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON THE INTERSTATE. THE DEALERSHIP IS LOOKING AGAIN AND HAVE CALLED FORD'S ENGINEERING FOR ADVICE, SINCE THEY HAVE YET TO FIND THE CAUSE. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE, ESPECIALLY IF I CANNOT GET TO THE EMERGENCY LANE ON THE INTERSTATE. IT DOES START AGAIN ONCE I PULL OVER. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH VEHICLE ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY. DRIVER WAS NOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND IT COLLIDED WITH A UTILITY POLE. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, BUT MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK THE CONSUMER STATED THAT 2002-2004 A RECALL WAS SENT OUT FOR ACCELERATOR PROBLEMS. THE CONSUMERS VEHICLE IS A 2005 MANUFACTURED IN APRIL 2004 THEREFORE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. *TC
THE VEHICLE'S 4-WHEEL DRIVE SENSOR FAILED. *NM THE CONSUMER BELIEVES THE VEHICLE 4-WHEEL DRIVE IS SELECTIVE AND NOT DOING THE JOB IT WAS TOUTED TO DO. *NM
WHILE PULLING INTO A DRIVEWAY VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. AS A RESULT,CONSUMER'S VEHICLE REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. NO INJURIES REPORTED. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED THAT POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED WHILE DRIVING DOWN A MOUNTAIN AT 30-40 MPH. CONSUMER WAS WAITING FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING SUN ROOF EXPLODED. CONSUMER PULLED OVER. NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. *AK
OIL LEAK FROM ENGINE. GASKET REPLACED.....OIL LEAKED AGAIN. DEALER SAID THE CRANKSHAFT ON THE ENGINE WAS OUT OF SPECS....ENGINE WAS REPLACED ( 2,741 MILES ).SINCE THEN NUMEROUS PROBLEMS HAVE ARISEN FROM AN AIR VENT TUBE HITTING THE FAN BELT TO A LOUD NOISE AND SHAKING OF THE ENGINE THAT NEARLY CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT ON THE HIGHWAY...TRYING TO GET TO THE BREAKDOWN LANE. NOW THE TRANSMISSION ( LEFT FRON TRANS AXEL ) IS LEAKING FLUID. THE ONLY THING FORD OFFERS IS AN EXTENDED WARRANTEE. THIS TRUCK IS A LEMON. THIS CAR HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE 27 OF THE LAST 35 DAYS. *AK
WHENEVER USING THE AIR CONDITIONER, USING DASH CONTROLLER TO DIRECT THE AIR OUT THE DASH VENTS, AIR ALSO COMES OUT THE DEFROSTER VENTS, CAUSING CONDENSATION TO FOG UP THE LOWER PART OF THE WINDSHIELD. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE SELLING DEALER, SOUTHWAY FORD IN SAN ANTONIO TX, AND RED MCCOMBS FORD IN SAN ANTONIO TX. BOTH DEALERS WERE ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE COMPLAINT, BUT OFFERED NO REPAIR. THEY BOTH CLAIM IT IS A "NORMAL OPERATION" I REQUESTED FROM BOTH DEALERSHIPS TO HAVE THE FORD REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE LOOK AT THE CAR. AS OF YET, NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. *AK
9-1-04 MY 2005 FORD ESCAPE WAS PARKED IN THE GARAGE OF MY HOME WHERE I BEGAN TO BACK UP. THERE WAS AN OBSTRUCTION IN MY DRIVEWAY SO I PUT THE CAR INTO DRIVE AND PULLED 1/2 WAY INTO THE GARAGE TO CLEAR THE WAY. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK, OPENED MY DOOR, TOOK OFF MY SEATBELT AND GOT OUT OF MY CAR WALKING TOWARDS THE REAR. SUDDENLY THE CAR ACCELERATED IN REVERSE KNOCKING ME DOWN BECAUSE OF THE OPEN DOOR. I JUMPED INTO THE CAR (WHERE MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE BACK SEAT) TO PLACE THE CAR IN PARK-IT WAS IN PARK AND ROLLING FAST. I USED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE WITH THE HELP OF THE OPEN DOOR JAMMING ALONG SIDE THE GARAGE WALL. THE END RESULT WAS SHOULDER AND COLLAR BONE DAMAGE AS WELL AS SEVER BODY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE OPEN DOOR. IF THE DOOR HAD NOT BEEN OPEN, MY CHILDREN WOULD HAVE ROLLED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND BEEN HIT HEAD ON. I AM POSITIVE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS NEW CAR, YET THE GALPIN VAN NUYS FORD DEALERSHIP HAS REFUSED TO INSPECT IT FOR SAFETY. THEY INSISTED THAT I FIRST FILE A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE CARRIER, WHICH I DID AND STILL HAVE BEEN REFUSED THE SAFETY INSPECTION BY FORD AND THE DEALERSHIP LEVEL AND THE CORPORATE LEVEL. I WANT TO ENSURE I AM DRIVING A SAFE CAR AND THIS PROBLEM WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.*AK
I HAVE A 2005 FORD ESCAPE. WHEN BRINGING THE CAR TO A STOP IN TRAFFIC IT SOMETIMES JUMPS AHEAD FOR SEVEARL FEET BEFORE I'M ABLE TO BRING IT TO A FULL STOP. I HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR TEN MONTHS AND THIS HAS OCCURRED ON FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. I HAVE HAD THE CAR INSPECTED BY THE LOCAL FORD DEALER ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THEY HAVE TRIED BUT ARE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE. BELIEVE ME, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PUTTING THE FOOT ON THE WRONG PEDAL, ETC. ETC. AT THIS POINT I'M UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE PROBLEM RESULTS FROM ACCELERATION FROM THE MOTOR OR SLIPPAGE IN THE BRAKING SYSTEM. *AK
BACK WHEELS WERE MISALIGNED MAKING TH EVEHICLE UNSTABLE. THE WHEELS ROCKED BACK AND FORTH. CONSUMER WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THEY COULD NOT REPAIR THE DEFECT UNTIL THEY RECEIVED NEW SPECIFICATIONS. ALSO, ACCELERATION WAS VERY HIGH. RPMS WENT UP 8,000 RPMS. HOWEVER, ON THIS VEHICLE THE RPM'S WENT TO 15,000 RPMS, WHICH WAS TO0 HIGH. *AK *NM
BOUGHT A 2005 FORD ESCAPE LIMITED 11,312 MILES AGO. HAVE HAD THE CAR INTO THE DEALER SIX TIMES BECAUSE IT KEEPS PULLING TO THE LEFT (INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC). THEY HAVE ALIGNED, OVER ALIGNED AND REPLACED THE TIRES. TO THIS DAY, IT STILL PULLS TO THE LEFT. SINCE IT PULLS TO THE LEFT, A "HEAD-ON COLLISON" IS BOUND TO HAPPEN. THE FORD DEALER, MAC HAIK, DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE OR HAS NO INTEREST IN FIXING THIS POTENTAL DANGEROUS SITUATION.*AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD ESCAPE. ON TWO OCCASIONS, THE ABS SPONTANEOUSLY MALFUNCTIONED. PRIOR TO THE FAILURES, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE ABS AND FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WARNING INDICATORS WERE ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE RISK OF A CRASH WAS INCREASED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FRONT BRAKE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT THE COST OF $1,200. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER IN REFERENCE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V156000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
ON THE DRIVE HOME FROM PICKING UP MY FORD ESCAPE, I NOTICED CABIN NOISE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT TOOK 6 SERVICE VISITS TO JIM KEIM FORD TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE THAT WAS CAUSED BY LOOSE CLADDING ON THE PASSENGER DOOR. FURTHER, I BEGAN GETTING A TICKING NOISE AT SLOW SPEEDS AND BUMPY ROADS DURING THE RESOLUTION OF THE CLADDING PROBLEM. JIM KEIM SPRAYED SILICONE SPRAY ON THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOOR MOLDING TO RESOLVE THIS. THE TICKING NOISE RETURNED WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS AND KRIEGER FORD PUT ANTI-RATTLE TAPE ON THE A ARMS IN THE CABIN TO RESOLVE THIS ON 2 OCCASIONS. IN ALL, I'VE HAD 8 SERVICE CALLS ON THIS BRAND NEW $26000.00 ESCAPE. I'VE DRIVEN HUNDREDS OF MILES IN TRYING TO RESOLVE THESE NOISE ISSUES TO DATE. IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING THAT A VEHICLE I GENUINELY LOOKED FORWARD TO HAVING HAS BECOME A VEHICLE THAT I'VE ALREADY EXPLORED TRADING IN AND GOING WITH ANOTHER MAKE BECAUSE I FEEL I HAVE BEEN TREATED POORLY HAVING TO TAKE MY VEHICLE IN FOR NOISE ISSUES 8 TIMES. *JB
BRAKES ARE MAKING NOISE INTERMITTINGLY. IT SOUNDS LIKE BLOWING IN A BOTTLE. WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE 3 TIMES IN THE FIRST MONTH OF OWNERSHIP. THEY KEEP GRINDING DOWN THE ROTORS AND IT'S NOT HELPING. APPARANTLY FORD CORP. IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND ARE TRYING TO FIND A CURE. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT. ALSO, STEALTH SECURITY SYSTEM FAILED, AND THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. THIS ALSO HAPPENED IN FIRST MONTH OF OWNERSHIP.
INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE SEEMS TO GO INTO NEUTRAL. ENGINE REVVED AND CLUNG, THEN GOES BACK INTO DRIVE. THIS FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE REVERSING. THE INDICATORS ON THE DASHBOARD KEPT FLASHING FROM N TO R, THE ENGINE REVVED BEFORE FINALLY SETTLING IN REVERSE. THE SECOND TIME THIS FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE REVERSING, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. DEALERSHIP PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST IN WHICH THE FAILURE CODE READ P01702. A FACTORY ENGINEER INDICATED THAT THEY WERE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THIS FAILURE, BUT NO REMEDY HAD BEEN FOUND.*AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT A COMPUTER PROBLEM. WHEN PUTTING VEHICLE IN REVERSE IT WENT FORWARD, AND WHEN PUTTING IT IN DRIVE IT DID NOTHING. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO REPAIR SHOP 3 TIMES, BUT MECHANIC COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. WHEN VEHICLE WAS PUT ON THE COMPUTER IT SHOWED NO ERROR MESSAGE, NOTHING WAS WRONG. CONSUMER TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND THEN TURNED IT BACK ON, AND IT WORKED FINE. CONSUMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO THIS BECAUSE THIS WAS A NEW VEHICLE, 2005 MODEL. THEREFORE, CONSUMER FELT THAT THERE WAS A MALFUNCTIONED COMPUTER IN THE VEHICLE. *AK
FRONT DRIVERS SEAT LEANS AND IS POINTING TO LEFT. DEALER STATED THAT FORD PURPOSELY MADE THE FOAM ON THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT LESS DENSE THAN ON THE RIGHT SIDE FOR EASIER ACCESS AND EXIT OF THE VEHICLE. THIS STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN WHY THE SEAT ALSO FEELS SLIGHTLY TWISTED OR POINTING THE LEFT. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY THE DEALER WHO CALLED FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO AT THIS TIME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH IN ICY WEATHER AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ROLL OVER FOUR TIMES AND CRASH INTO AN EMBANKMENT. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE POLICE REPORTED TO THE SCENE AND A REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BRUISING AND HEAD INJURIES, AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL VIA AMBULANCE.
