PAINT IS BUBBLING AND SEPARATING FROM THE FRONT OF THE HOOD ON THE TOP AND UNDERNEATH OF THE SURFACE. VEHICLE IS STATIONARY.
I PURCHASED THIS CAR BRAND NEW AND THEN NOT LONG MEANING MONTHS 6 MONTHS OR SO AFTER OWNING IT AFTER A RAIN I STARTED HEARING SPLASHING SOUNDS FROM THE BACK AND I FOUND WATER ALL IN THE BACK WHERE THE SPARE TIRE IS LOCATED AND THEN WATER ALL IN THE BACK SEAT FLOOR AND UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT. THE DEALERSHIP WOULD NOT LOOK AT THE CAR AS THEY BLAMED ME FOR NOT ROLLING UP MY WINDOWS AND AFTER COMPLAINING TO THE OWNER THEY WERE FORCED TO LOOK AND FOUND THE BACK HATCH HAD A CRACK UP UNDER THE RACK AREA, WHICH WAS CAUSING WATER TO COME IN THE CAR, THE SUN ROOF SMALL TUBES CLOGGED AND COVERED BY A RUBBER LINING CAUSING WATER TO BACK UP INTO THE BACK SEAT FLOORS. I WAS TOLD THIS WAS SOMETHING I NEEDED TO TAKE CARE OF AS I NEEDED TO BLOW ARE PRESSURE IN THESE SMALL TUBES OFTEN TO CLEAR DEBRIS TO PREVENT WATER FROM BACKING UP AND GOING INTO THE BACK SEAT. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW AND THE CAR SMELLS OF MOLD AND STILL IS TAKING IN SO MUCH WATER AND THE FLOOR I FEEL IS GOING TO RUST OUT AND RENDER THE CAR USELESS. AS I HAVE OWNED MANY CARS WITH SUNROOFS AND NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD TO DO THAT AND OTHERS WHO OWN THIS KIND OF CAR DO NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE.
DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR SWITCH IS MALFUNCTIONING. DASH DISPLAY AND WARNING CHIMES WARNING ME THAT THE DOOR IS OPEN WHEN ITS CLOSED. **THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL BECAUSE OF THE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE THAT ARE EXPERIENCING THIS. HARD TO FIND AFTERMARKET PARTS AND FORD DEALERS WANT $475 TO FIX IT! B.S.!!! RECALL IT. LOSING FAITH IN FORD! SAD!
EXHAUST FUMES WHEN ACCELERATING.
THE WELD SEAM SEALANT USED ABOVE THE TAILGATE HAS FAILED AND BEGUN CRACKING, ALLOWING RAINTO ENTER THROUGH THE POORLY DONE WELDING, AND DRIPS INTO MY CARGO AREA THROUGH THE REAR SPEAKERS, DOWN THE SEATBELT, AND ONTO MY SEATS. LUCKILY I HAVE A CARGO LINER WHICH HELPS AVOID MY SEATS FROM GETTING SOAKED. THIS HAPPENS WHETHER PARKED OR MOVING.
MY 2013 FORD EXPLORER V6 ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY OR IN TOWN CREATING A VERY UNSAFE DRIVING SITUATION. LOOKING ONLINE THERE IS QUITE A FEW COMPLAINTS TO THE SAME THAT THE THROTTLE BODY LOSES ELECTRICAL POWER AND SHUTS DOWN. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN 2 DAYS AND I NO LONGER DRIVE IT UNTIL A REPLACEMENT THROTTLE BODY CAN BE FOUND. FORD MADE A CHANGE TO THE REPLACEMENTS, BUT THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL DUE TO THE DANGEROUS SITUATIONS THAT IT CAUSES.
WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40MPH PREPARING TO MERGE ONTO FREEWAY I LOST ACCELERATION POWER AND VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 5MPH NEARLY CAUSING ACCIDENT. AFTER TURNING CAR OFF AND BACK ON IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. LATER THAT DAY MY WIFE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. WE HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO FORD DEALERSHIP AND AFTER TWO DAYS THEY WERE PREPARED TO RETURN THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THE PROBLEM DID NOT PRESENT DURING THE TEST DRIVES. AFTER REFUSING TO TAKE IT BACK UNTIL THEY FIGURED IT OUT THE NEXT DAY WE WERE TOLD THAT THE THROTTLE BODY WAS "BAD". 2 DAYS LATER THE VEHICLE WAS "FIXED" AND RETURNED TO US. THE VERY NEXT MORNING WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE LOSING PROPULSION AND DECELERATING RAPIDLY. AFTER TAKING IT BACK TO THE THE DEALERSHIP WE WERE TOLD THAT THE "NEW" THROTTLE BODY THAT WAS INSTALLED WAS ALSO "BAD". AFTER ANOTHER 2 DAYS WE PICKED UP OUR CAR AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS SO FAR.
COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING. I MOMENTARILY FELT PANICKED INSIDE, MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE CAR AND WE WERE GOING 70. TURNED THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED AND IT DROVE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND IT SEEMED FINE. 9 MONTHS LATER (APRIL 2016) IT HAPPENED AGAIN DRIVING 45MPH IN HEAVY TRAFFIC WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. I WAS ABLE TO FORCE THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY AND CALM DOWN. THE CAR WOULD BARELY STEER. IT WAS HARDER TO MANEUVER THAN DRIVING AN OLDER VEHICLE WITHOUT POWER STEERING. IT WAS JUST SHORT OF BEING LOCKED UP. AGAIN IT RESET AFTER TURNING ON AND OFF ABOUT 5 TIMES. IT WAS EVENING AND I DECIDED IT HAD TO GO BACK TO THE SHOP THE NEXT DAY. THE FOLLOWING DAY IT WAS LOCKED UP COMPLETELY AND NOT DRIVABLE. I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AS IT WAS NOT DRIVABLE AND UNSAFE. THE POWER STEERING ASSIST AND TRACTION ASSIST ALERTS STAYED UP- BOTH FUNCTIONS SHOWING OFF.
WHEN DRIVING LOSS OF POWER HAPPENS. CAN NOT ACCELERATE! CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE. CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME WITHOUT WARNING. CAR HAS 40K MILES. VERY DANGEROUS IF DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. IT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.

PAINT IS CHIPPING AND FLAKING OFF FROM UNDER THE PAINT. BUBBLES ARE FORMING ALONG THE EDGE OF FRONT HOOD AND TAIL HATCH.

AFTER IT RAINED, THE VEHICLE ACCUMULATED WATER ON THE INTERIOR PASSENGER FLOOR, THE SEAT BELTS WERE SATURATED, AND WATER ENTERED THROUGH THE VENTS AND POURED OUT FROM THE HEADLIGHTS. WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP, THE CONTACT HEARD THE SOUND OF WATER THROUGHOUT THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO OBSERVED THE SMELL OF MOLD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO OPEN RECALLS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 45,000.
IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER WHEN DRIVING WITH MY AC ON I STARTED GETTING THE WORST HEAD AKES OF MY LIFE AND WAS EVEN HOSPILTISED FOR THEM AND NOONE COULD EVER FIGURE ANYTHING OUT THEN IN THE FALL WEHN WE STOPED MY HEAD STPED HURTING AND THEN I TOOK A TRIP IN NOV TO FLORIDA AND USED THE AC ALMOST THE WHOLE WAY BACK AND WHEN I RETURNED HOME I WAS PUT BACK IN THE HOSPITAL FOR AGAIN A HEAD AKE THAT COULD NOT BE CONTROLLED WITH YET AGAIN NO ANSWER TO A COUSE AND THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OR AND RELATE IS DRIVING MY CAR AND THE AC BEING ON SOMETIMES NOT ALSWAYS THO WITH A EXSUST SMELL

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND VERIFIED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V286000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF AFTER CAR HAS BEEN STARTED. PROBLEM WAS BROUGHT TO FORD DEALERSHIP'S ATTENTION BUT WOULD NOT COVER UNDER THE 3 YEAR WARRANTY AS WE MISSED THE CUTOFF BY 2 MONTHS. THIS CONDITION HAS LASTED FOR 6 MONTHS AS WE CONTINUE TO HOPE THAT A RECALL NOTICE IS ISSUED.
WHEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE THE STEERING SEEMS TO "STICK" AND WHEN YOU APPLY MORE PRESSURE TO MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL, THE VEHICLE JERKS AND DARTS YOU INTO THE OTHER LANE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OTHER VEHICLES SUCH AS CONSTRUCTION ZONES OR NARROW RURAL ROADS WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
I KNOW THERE IS RECALLS FOR CARBON MONOXIDE EXHAUST FUMES COMING INTO CABIN FOR FORDS I THINK MINE HAS THIS ISSUE

I WAS STANDING AT A RED LIGHT AND WAS REAR ENDED BY A SPEEDING DRIVER. I WAS CATAPULTED INTO THE TRUCK STANDING IN FRONT OF ME. THE FRONT END OF THE CAR WAS TOTALED, AS WELL AS THE FRAME BENT FROM THE REAR; WHERE I WAS HIT ORIGINALLY ONLY MILLISECONDS BEFORE. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THE AIR BAG PROTECTION, NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. A FIREMAN ON SCENE COMMENTED THAT HE COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. MY VEHICLE IS IN THE POLICE IMPOUND LOT, BECAUSE OF AN ACCIDENT RESULTING IN INJURIES. I HAVE SINCE SHOWN THE PICTURES TO SEVERAL PEOPLE, EVEN MECHANICS; AND THEY HAVE ALL STATED THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE AIRBAGS, SINCE THEY DID NOT DEPLOY. THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS DEMANDING THAT I RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO THEM IMMEDIATELY.
A PILLAR EXTERIOR TRIM COVER PIECE FLEW OFF ON THE EXPRESSWAY, A FRIENDS HAS DONE THE SAME THING AND AFTER CHECKING ON LINE THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMONS PROBLEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2013 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT BECAME UNCONSCIOUS AND CRASHED INTO A FRONT PORCH. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE FACE AND NOSE, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DEEMED DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR SENSOR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 10 MINUTES FOR THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT TO TURN OFF, EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN SLAM THE DOOR SHUT 20 TIMES.
I HAVE TAKEN MY 2013 EXPLORER INTO THE DEALER SHIP TWICE THE FIRST TIME I TOOK MY CAR IN I TOLD THEM THEIR WAS SOME THING WRONG WITH THE IDEAL. WHEN I'M SITTING WITH IT IDALING IT FEELS LIKE THE CAR WANTS TO DIE. DID NOT FIX IT THEN WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. TOOK IT BACK IN A FEW MONTHS LATER COMPLAINING OF THE SAME THING THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS MY THROTTLE BODY IT WOULD COST ME 450.00 TO FIX IT. THAT IT SHOULD OF BEEN DONE THE FIRST TIME. SECOND COMPLAINT IS THAT WHEN THE OUT SIDE AIR IS OFF AND HAVE THE HEATER/AIR CONDITIONING ON HAVING TO ACCELERATE UP A HILL OR ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES TO STEP ON THE GAS WE GET A LOT OF FUMES INTO THE CAR. HAVING TO ROLL THE DOWN THE WINDOWS TO GET THE FUMES OUT.

I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AND IT CONSTANTLY FLOODS INSIDE THE VEHICLE WHEN IT RAINS OR I GO THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH. THIS HAS BEEN OVER 3 YEARS OF ME PAYING PEOPLE TO BLOW OUT SUN ROOF. TO NO AVAIL. I DRIVE AND WATER CONSTANTLY POURS FROM THE CEILING CONSOLE, SEATBELT HOLES ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CAR AND FROM UNDER THE DASHBOARD AREA. ALMOST 6 TO 8 INCHES DEEP OF WATER AT TIMES. I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH TOWELS ON MY LAP AND SHOWER CURTAINS ON THE FLOORS. MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS NO HELP, NEITHER IS DEALERSHIP OF PURCHASE.

THE DRIVER SIDE "DOOR AJAR" ALARM IS CONSTANTLY ON, EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS FIRMLY CLOSED AND SECURE.THE ALARM KEEPS GOING OFF AND THE DOME LIGHT IS ON WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION FOR A DANGEROUS PERIOD OF TIME. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON AND DANGEROUS COMPLAINT FOR SIMILAR VEHICLES IN SIMILAR YEARS.ACCORDING TO WHAT I HAVE READ ONLINE AND WATCHED ONLINE THERE ARE A LOT OF LIKE VEHICLES OUT THERE WITH THIS PROBLEM.
THE "POWER STEERING FAULT" LIGHT WAS ON WHEN I WAS DRIVING. AND I LOST STEERING ABILITY AT ALL. I MANAGED TO DRIVE TO THE NEAREST FORD DEALER, AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $1800 FOR REPLACEMENT. THIS IS BECAUSE SOMEHOW I WASN'T INCLUDED IN THE RECALL FOR POWER STEERING. THIS IS ABSURD!
DOOR AJAR ISSUE. THE DOOR DOESNT WANT TO LATCH AND THE DOME LIGHT STAYS ON. DOESNT MATTER IF YOUR DRIVING OR STATIONARY THE ISSUE STILL PERSISTS. WHILE DRIVING IT WILL TELL YOU ONBOARD THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT THE CAR AND PARK AND CLOSE THE DOOR. VERY DANGEROUS.

WAS DRIVING AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME REALLY HARD TO TURN AND THEN ON MY SCREEN OF MY TRUCK A WARNING POP UP SAYING ( POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT) SO NOW MY STEERING IS VERY HARD TO TURN
AIR SYSTEM, EXHAUST. I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING TO MY DEALERSHIP FOR OVER A YEAR ABOUT THE HORRIBLE AIR THAT IS COMING INTO MY CAR WHEN WE USE THE A/C OR HEATER. WE HAVE RESORTED TO NOT USING IT BECAUSE WE CAN'T STAND THE SMELL. I GET MY CAR SERVICED REGULARLY AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT. THEY STATE SINCE THERE IS NO RECALL THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO FIX IT. IT IS ANYTIME THE AIR IS TURNED ON AND SPECIFICALLY THE AIR FOR THE BACK PASSENGERS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V286000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
STARTED MY ENGINE. TRUCK WAS IN PARK AND I FEEL THIS BOUNCING/SHAKING WHICH IS QUITE STRANGE. HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT CAN BE AND HOW DANGEROUS IT IS WHILE DRIVING. ANOTHER TIME IT HAPPENED WAS WHEN I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, STILL IN DRIVE AND AGAIN THE BOUNCING/ SHAKING FEELING I EXPERIENCED AGAIN. I WAS ON A SMOOTH CITY STREET.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while her husband was driving approximately 70 MPH, the windshield trim panel detached from the windshield. The contact’s husband veered to the side of the road momentarily. The contact’s husband was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the windshield trim panel was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred several times while driving. The contact stated that the dealer had replaced the windshield trim panel on two different occasions. However, the failure persisted. The contact stated that her husband taped the windshield trim panel to the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist as the VIN was not included in the recall related to the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000. The VIN was not available.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V286000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.
CARBON MONOXIDE SMELL IS COMING OUT OF VENTS WHEN A/C IS USED. IT USUALLY STARTS HAPPENING AFTER THE CAR IS WARMED UP. THE SMELL IS SO STRONG I OFTEN HAVE TO TURN OFF AIR CONDITIONING AND ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS TO ALLOW THE AIR TO BE CLEARED OUT. OFTEN GET HEADACHES FROM THIS SMELL.

WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY DOING 65MPH, THE MOLDINGS BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE FRONT WINDSHIELD FLEW OFF AND COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT OR SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS. NOW I AM LEFT WITH ALL THE NUTS AND BOLTS EXPOSED AND FORD WILL NOT COVER, INSTEAD THEY WANT ME TO PAY $500 TO FIX IT. I JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE 6 MONTHS AGO AND HAVE READ ONLINE OF THIS SAME THING HAPPENING TO MANY OTHERS WHO WERE TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE TO PAY AS WELL. FORD IS LUCKY NO ONE WAS SERIOUSLY HURT, I WANT THIS INVESTIGATED SO NO FUTURE ACCIDENTS HAPPEN .

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE UPDATED AND THE STEERING RACK MIGHT NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE COMPUTER WAS UPDATED. WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN PARK, THE MESSAGE "SHIFT TO PARK" IS ILLUMINATED ON THE DASH - WHEN THE CAR WAS IN FACT IN "PARK". I HAVE TO REPEATEDLY SHIFT THE CAR IN AND OUT OF "PARK" OR TURN THE CAR ON AND OFF TO GET THE MESSAGE TO GO AWAY. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE GEAR SHIFT WHICH COST ME $390.33.
ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN REAR CENTER CONSOLE WAS COMPLETELY PULLED OUT WHILE TRYING TO UNPLUG COMPUTER EXPOSING ELECTRICAL WIRES ELECTROCUTING MY SON AND NEPHEW. THIS HAPPENED AT NIGHT WITH THE VEHICLE IN MOTION.
I BOUGHT CAR MAY 3013 STARTED SMELLING EXHAUST INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND KEPT ASKING THE DEALER TO PLEASE CHECK IT OUT AND ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME. THEY ACTED AS THOUGH I WAS CRAZY NEVER CHECKED IT OUT AND I REQUESTED IT EVERY TIME TOOK IT IN FOR OIL AND TIRE ROTATION. AFTER A WHILE WHEN I WOULD BE IN THE VEHICLE AND EXCELERATE IT WOULD SMELL AS THOUGH SOME ONE DUMPED A CAN OF GAS IN THE BACK OF THE CAR. WHEN TOOK IN THE LAST TIME DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM TOLD ME WOULD COST ME TOO MUCH TO FIX AS IT WAS A BIG JOB JUST DON'T USE YOUR REAL AIR CONDITIONER. WE LIVE IN FLORIDA AND MY GRANDCHILDREN RIDE WITH ME THAT IS NOT AN OPTION. THE FUMES HAPPENED WHEN EXCELERATION AT LOW AND HIGHER SPEEDS NOT DURING SAME CIRCUMSTANCES. THE LAST TIME WHERE AS IT HAD BEEN ON THE OPEN HIGHWAY I WAS SIMPLY DOING A LEFT TURN AND THIS TIME THE EXHAUST WAS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AREA. THIS HAPPENED FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS I REPORTED TO FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE THE GAVE ME CLAIM NUMBER HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. CASE NUMBER IS CAS10895619
TOOK VEHICLE TO FORD DEALER TO FIX THE FUEL RECALL ISSUE. NOW, ABOUT A YEAR LATER, VEHICLE IS DRAWING IN FUEL SMELL FROM BOTH THE VEHICLE AND EVERYTHING OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE SMELL IS STRONGER WHEN THE HEAT IS ON AND ALSO AROUND GAS STATIONS. NOW I'M BEING TOLD IT MIGHT BE A DIFFERENT PROBLEM WHICH WILL COST ME OVER $800.
