While towing trailers the right directional works but the right brake light does not on the trailer. The trailer light work fine with other vehicles. It appears to be a problem with the trailer brake control module. Also while towing will get trailer light fault alerts even though the lights are working properly. Right after disconnecting the trailer you still get the trailer light fault alerts and your back up alerts on the camera are still disabled for days.
I Have owned my 2021 F150 less than 2 weeks. I purchased the car with 200 mile on it. I was pulling out of a parking lot tonight and heard a clunk. 50 feet later the engine quit and there was a strong fuel smell and something was scraping on the pavement. We got out of the car and there was a big puddle of fuel under the vehicle. Upon further inspection, the front fuel tank bracket was unhooked from the right side and the front of the fuel tank was resting on the pavement. The fuel tube connection at the front of the gas tank was sheared off. We had the truck towed to Anderson Ford in Rockford, IL.

Rear Axle bolt broke while driving. I have visited the dealer and made an appointment. They have told me that the truck should not be driven aggressively, and that they will have the truck for a few days for the repair. After being on Ford Forum, I am seeing that this is a common faulty part that seems to be occurring quite often. In some cases both axle bolts on the same vehicle has broken. We are in the winter months and this is causing my 4 -Wheel drive to not operate/function correctly.

Truck has 30,129 miles driven. As car shifted into gear to drive, it suddenly went into neutral gear while driving. This was following a loud bang like sound followed by a rough shift into neutral. Truck eventually shifted back into gear. Truck has been at dealership for about a month, waiting for parts to repair/replace the transmission. Dealer service provider stated that this was a manufacturing problem.
While driving on a highway at 70 mph the hood unlocked and was caught by the safety latch. It is available for inspection. My safety was at extreme risk. Loosing the ability to see out of my windshield had the safety latch failed could have been catastrophic. This could have caused a crash at highway speeds from the sudden inability to see where I was driving. The problem has not been reproduced but should be confirmed by the trucks data system. A hood unsafe message appeared on my dash screen. The latch has not been inspected yet as this happened last night. There was no prior indication or warning that the hood would come unlocked.

Speaker Issue: When starting the truck, after about 3 seconds of sitting in the truck, the speakers made a really loud pop noise and then continued to make a loud static noise and cracking noise for the duration of my 15 minute drive home. If this happened on the freeway, it may traumatize someone or cause an accident. The problem has happened twice but it is not been replicable for a dealer or service center. The truck has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance reps. I read online that this is happening to a lot of 2021+ F-150s with the B & O Unleashed 18 Speaker sound package. Please recall this, it is the most dangerous speaker issue I have ever heard.

I have contacted the dealership several times and was told i am on the waiting list for over 6 months. my windshild wipers stopped working last week in a storm and had to stop along a highway to hand clear my windshield so i could make it home. finally i got the windshield wiper to work in the fastes mode but then the whole windshield wiper came off on the drivers side... I was out of town and called other dealerships near by and was told i need to bring it to them to see and then ford would have to approve and it would be 3 months from then until they get the part. i moved the windshield wiper to the driver side and had to hand turn it on each time to make it work. i went to dealership today and was told the 1st appointment to check it was in 6 months...and then they would order it. i was told to park my car because it was not safe to drive. but no loaner car was available. and my car is no longer uder warranty.... none of my other recalls have been addressed by ford

Windshield wipers would not turn on during a rain storm. Water with still squirt now but I had no action in the wiper blades and stuck in the rain. Next day windshield wipers were working fine acted like there was a short in the system ! Forward for months and windshield wipers suddenly stopped working in the middle of a blizzard white out conditions! Dealer finally says that the windshield wiper motors gave way !! I looked into this the first time it happened, and there was a major recall due to these motor defects ! My Vin number was not associated with the recall that they had my local Ford company put it by the wayside and they still are because the Soonest they can have it serviced and new fire put in his two months out!! Ridiculous

Brake failure, brake pedal went to floor had to firmly stand on peddle rear wheels eventually locked up and truck skidded to stop. warning lamps that lit up are check brake system, hill start assist not available, service advance trac, pre collision assist not available, ABS and brake light was illuminated. very dangerous situation. This is the second time this happened the first was September 2021 they replaced the brake booster at 7,000 miles this occurred again 12/25/2022.
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DOOR CLOSING FAILURE. Both front door lock actuators malfunction below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Rear doors of the crew cab are unaffected. The moving parts of the mechanism are not frozen and there is no water in the system. The lock actuator will not engage the clamp/pin mechanism to hold the door closed, even though the movable parts are freely moving. this happens whenever the temperature is below 10 degrees. In order to get out of the car you need to exit the rear door or climb out the window. Once the door does open, it will not securely latch in position. The Certified Ford dealership informed me that this is a "known problem" with the F150 and there is no known repair.
Heard a small rattle in my wheel for a few weeks. Checked my passenger rear wheel and I had a rear passenger axle bolt sheer off. Took the truck to local, Mac Haik Ford dealership in Georgetown, TX for repairs. Replaced the bolt and rear axle. This is a known issue in online Ford F150 forums.good thing I decided to check it when I did
When the weather reaches freezing temperatures or below. The drivers side door will not unlock or open. It will not unlock using the Remote unlock, Key Fob, manual Key, unlock button on the door or pulling the handle from the inside. If there were an incident that would require exiting the vehicle quickly or emergency services needed to extricate the driver quickly, this would not be possible since the door can not be opened. This only occurs during cold weather. I live in Wisconsin and the temperatures during winter are consistently below freezing. The dealer will not get me in to address for another month to look at it. The truck was purchased February 2022. First sign of the issue occurred December 2022.
The truck makes a loud clunking noise when shifting from park to drive. It also gets stuck in first gear sometimes and I have to turn the truck off and wait a little bit and restart it.

Still no remedy from Ford regarding NHTSA Recall Number 23V896. They had stated the resolution would be in place by Q1 2025, and I have still not received any documentation with the fix. They already pushed it back once and looks like they are doing it again as I have waited nearly 2.5 years for a fix since the first bolt broke. This vehicle is not dependable and has no resale value due to this recall not being resolved. Thank you
Ford stated a solution to this would be available Q1 2025, but has not provided one. They had already pushed this back once before. THE WHEEL END HUB BOLT IN THE REAR AXLE MAY BECOME LOOSE OR BREAK. CONTINUED DRIVING WITH A BROKEN BOLT MAY LEAD TO WEAR WITHIN THE AXLE AND DAMAGE THE AXLE HUB SPLINES. THIS MAY INITIALLY RESULT IN A CLICKING NOISE AS THE BOLT BECOMES LOOSE AND A RATTLE NOISE FROM THE WHEEL CAP IF THE BOLT BREAKS. VEHICLES WITH DAMAGED AXLE HUB SPLINES MAY ROLL IN PARK WITHOUT THE PARKING BRAKE APPLIED, OR, ALTERNATIVELY, LOSE DRIVE POWER, BOTH OF WHICH MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY OR A CRASH.
When I was going to back in my drive way the truck would not come out of drive. Tried shutting truck off to reset it and would not reset. Truck was now not able to move had to have it towed into dealer ship. This could be very dangerous situation
The axle bolt sheared off at some point since the last tire rotation. The truck has approximately 55,000 miles on the odometer and the last tire rotation was performed at 35,000 miles. Somewhere in the 35,000 to 55,000 mile time frame the bolt on the end of the axle sheared off. When the wheel was removed at 55,000 miles the bolt head and washer fell out. The only thing that has been done to the rear wheels are tire rotations. No other maintenance that would require the hub or brake assembly to be removed has been performed.
Driving in the morning to work and heard a noise on 12/07/22. Made appointment to take to Ford dealer for 12/08/22. The did inspection and found an axle hub bolt broken. Said it was unsafe to drive like that.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from the rear end of the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train). The vehicle was previously taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the rear axle bolt was fractured. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. I purchased a 2021 Ford F-150 pick-up truck for my business in September 2022 with ~12,000 miles. I took it to my local auto mechanic on Sa-11/26/22 for it's first oil change & tire rotation at ~15,000 miles. Upon my mechanic rotating my tires, he found the sheared-off axle bolt on the rear/passenger side (pictures & mechanic write-up available). My mechanic stated he believes the axle bolt was over torqued/tightened in the factory and not a result of daily driving usage... Answers to Above Questions: > Rear/Passenger Side Wheel: Axle Bolt SHEARED-OFF; Pictures & mechanic write-up available > My mechanic informed me I was a very "lucky" person that I didn't get into a serious vehicle accident due this axle bolt being sheared-off; I was strongly advised by my mechanic that I should NOT drive my truck until repaired > My truck was towed to an authorized Ford dealership and is awaiting inspection & service (earliest available appointment is W-12/7/22, meaning I will be without the use of my truck for AT LEAST ~12 days!!!!!) > As stated previously, my truck is currently at an authorized Ford dealership awaiting inspection & service. Upon me doing Internet research, Ford does not have any listed recalls for this issue, but there are plenty of Ford forum sites detailing the EXACT same issue(s)!!!, so there definitely is a BIG problem! > There were no warning indications/messages displayed in my truck prior to learning of the problem.
The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undetermined speed, a rock struck the front windshield causing a crack. The vehicle was taken to an auto glass shop where the windshield was replaced, and additional adhesive was needed to secure the windshield. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V090000 (Visibility). The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 20,000.
Received recall notice in March, 2022. Took vehicle in to confirm and was told that the wiper motor would need to be ordered and that it was expected sometime in August. I've called the dealer twice now and was told the motor was still on order. Today (November 10, 2022) the dealer informs me that the part cannot be ordered from Ford until it fails and is confirmed by the dealer as to failing. If this is a safety recall, why would it need to fail to be acted upon. I live in a climate where we get rainy weather for months at a time. Having a wiper motor fail while driving is a situation waiting for disaster.
Rear passenger axel bolt broken and leaking diff fluid from hub of wheel.

The contact stated that the failure had started since the vehicle was purchased. The failure mileage was 32,962.
This is the third rear axle bolt that has broken on this truck. It was found during a flat repair.
Ford issued recall 22S12/22V-142 on March 13, 2022, and stated, "parts are anticipated to be available late-second quarter". I have been in contact with the Ford dealership in my hometown since April about this recall and was continuously told the parts are not available. My wipers had been functioning intermittently until last week while raining, my wipers completely stopped working as I am driving home on the interstate. I called the local Ford the following morning to inquire about the recall and was again told that the parts aren't available. Ford stated I could drop my vehicle off for 3 days so they could perform diagnostics on my vehicle, order the appropriate parts, and then return once the parts have arrived. I informed them that I commute for work and cannot be without my truck. They told me I would not be given a rental unless I wanted to pay for one through another company! After being frustrated with local Ford dealer, I called the corporate office and was told "there is nothing we can do at this time". This is completely unacceptable behavior. The recall has been issued for months and owners who have vehicles without windshield wipers should be taken care of immediately. This is a huge safety hazard! I am beyond upset about this situation and Ford is not taking responsibility the way they should. Why should I be the one to pay for the rental vehicle when it is their equipment that has malfunctioned? Completely unnacceptable.

Ford is taking this matter very lightly and that concerns me. I'm crying out for your assistance please. The dealership are not equipped to take care of this situation.
