The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked and vibrated, and the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
Headlight DRL (daytime running light) and fog light burning out as an LED bulb.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while her son was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle almost stalled. The contact stated that her son was not aware of any warning lights being illuminated. The vehicle was driven back to the residence. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer was contacted to schedule an appointment, and the contact was informed that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
While proceeding through a four-way stop, my vehicle unexpectedly lost driveline engagement. The engine began free-spinning while still in "Drive," and the truck stopped accelerating, leaving me stranded in the middle of the intersection. I had to shift repeatedly between Park and Drive before the vehicle would respond and move again. This is not an isolated incident. The same failure occurred previously in early 2024. The vehicle has also exhibited persistent transmission issues, including gear hunting and harsh downshifts, particularly a hard clunk during the 4–3 shift on deceleration. The dealer has dismissed these symptoms in the past, stating it was due to the transmission being "cold." However, the intermittent loss of driveline engagement presents a serious safety risk to myself and others, especially when it occurs in active traffic situations. This is the second time the vehicle has left me stranded without warning. I’m extremely concerned that Ford has not addressed this recurring safety issue. The condition is unpredictable and dangerous. Immediate investigation and corrective action are needed.
Rear passenger window stopped working due to switch failure. Unsafe for passengers in rear as road debris and outdoor weather was able to get in. Issue was resolved by replacing master switch
My truck is/has been experiencing engine power issues on occasions when its hot. There are no engine light warnings. I believe issues is the fuel pump and there is a recall about this exact issue. I spoke to dealership and they said they have no remedy. I chatted with a Ford company customer service associate and he would not help either despite this is a major safety issue. We are afraid to drive the vehicle and no one at Ford will help us.
Where is Ford at on the recall from like July 2025? NHTSA 25V455, safety recall notice 25S75. How long do they have to get a resolution? Seems like they have had plenty of time to resolve this issue. It seems more important than this last recall for a computer update. I can choose not to haul a trailer. I cannot choose for a stall due to loss of fuel pressure and flow from fuel pump failure. I am only curious of how long they are allowed to come up with a solution.
Brought vehicle to shop to have tires rotated, axle bolt fell out after miles of noise. Reported to Ford, deemed drivable. Clicking sound from rear end began in November, brought to dealership. Vehicle deemed undrivable via Ford due to ongoing axle issues and noise coming from axle. Vehicle has been at the Ford dealership since November 12, 2025. Ford has provided a rental which is not a work vehicle. Ford has given me no answers, in fact, the last time I called on 1/16/26, the "advocate" asked me if I'd like to get in touch with the parts department. She said there is no timeline for getting my truck back.
I recently ought a 2022 Ford F-150 off of a private seller. It had a clean Carfax when I bought it. About a month after I bought the truck, on July 24, 2025, the following warning lights appeared on my dash all on the same day. Blind Spot Assist Not Available, Cross Traffic Assist Not Available, and Reverse Brake Assist Not Available. Also, my drivers side window would not roll down, and my drivers side lock/unlock buttons would not work. There were not any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. So I took my truck into Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, FL. on July 25, 2025 and they came back with the file I have uploaded below with the diagnosis and estimate. Of course the warranty has just expired a few months ago. We tried to make a claim with our insurance company and that was denied. I have also reached out to Ford Customer Service and they refused to help in any way. We were also never offered a loaner vehicle and my truck has been at the dealership for three weeks now. I am currently Active Duty Military and this is now effecting my ability to report for duty, and causing my leadership to question me. It is also effecting my family as we now only have one vehicle. As you can see in the link below, the estimate is quite high. and it is extremely frustrating that Ford has refused to help in any way, and will not provide any logical reason as to why except that the warranty is expired. Especially since this isn't my fault at all. Any help in rectifying this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Day time running lamp (DRL) failure. The driver's side DRL is not working anymore on my 2022 Ford F150 XLT with LED light package. The vehicle has 37,000 miles on it. The DRL is a vertical and horizontal strip of white LED's that stay on during the daytime for visibility. I took it to the dealer and they changed the module that runs the light and it would not fix it. They said that the lights are broken in the headlight assembly and it will cost $2,009 to fix the light that is not covered by my extended warranty. Apparently you have to get the "light" package on the extended warranty, when I was told I have a bumper to bumper warranty. How do the LED's burn out that fast. Ford built them into the headlight assemble and they cannot be replaced without buying a whole new assembly. I have seen other vehicles like this on the roadway with only one light working. As an accident reconstructionist, I cannot believe Ford would not take the initiative to fix this for safety reasons. I have done research on the topic and several Ford trucks of this year model are experiencing the same issues. I am surprised this has not become a recall issue due to safety issues. Also, I do not have any aftermarket lighting or attachments that would affect the lighting. Some Ford dealerships use that excuse when the light assembly fails. It is stock lighting with stock bumper and grill and has not been in a front end collision.
Once the engine is warm at normal running temperature and especially when it’s hot outside, the engine will shudder and almost die. This issue is most noticeable at idle at stop signs or stop lights and the whole truck shakes.
The 10R80 transmission is known to have issues with the CDF drum resulting in extremely hard downshift while driving and ultimately leads to transmission damage
This is regarding ford's known issue with their evaporator cited in TSB 22-2089. The evaporator caused a compressor to fail, which caused a power train failure notification in sync and on the phone app. The compressor is under warranty, but the evaporator is not, which causes a $3600 repair (parts and labor). According to the bulletin, the evaporator known issue is NOT considered a threat to life, even though it certainly is a threat to life to not have air conditioning in hotter states. The part is currently being replaced at our local dealership.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 24V682000 (Exterior Lighting) and 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and requested to be removed from the recall distribution list. The local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted.
The vehicle produces an extremely loud static or popping blast from the speakers at startup or during operation. The volume controls do not respond and the noise can only be stopped by shutting the vehicle off. The sound is ear-piercing, leaves ringing in the ears, and startles the driver. This has occurred more than once. One incident happened while driving on the freeway and nearly caused a loss of control due to the sudden and extremely loud noise. Another occurrence was captured on video while the vehicle was being operated at low speed. The condition occurs without warning and cannot be reproduced on demand. The vehicle is equipped with the B&O Unleashed audio system. No warning lights or messages appear prior to the event. A dealer acknowledged the condition and indicated that a module reprogramming is required to correct it. Ford has issued Special Service Message (SSM) 51663 addressing loud static from the audio system in affected vehicles. Despite the vehicle being under an extended warranty, the corrective repair is being classified as a software update and quoted as a customer-paid repair. This unexpected loud audio blast presents a safety concern due to driver distraction and potential hearing harm.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). However, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
I am filing a complaint regarding Ford Safety Recall 23S65 and the way Ford Motor Company have handled my vehicle over the past seven months. My truck has been held at the dealership since July 2025, and the recall repair has still not been completed. Despite this extremely long delay, Ford has not issued a stop‑drive order, grounding order, or any owner notification stating that the vehicle is unsafe to operate. The recall bulletin states the half‑shaft remains retained even if the bolt fails, yet the dealership refuses to release my vehicle, citing “liability.” Ford Customer Service has been unable to provide any documentation supporting the dealer’s refusal. Ford updated the dealer‑facing recall bulletin to require replacement of both half‑shafts if one side fails inspection. However, Ford never sent owners an updated recall notice explaining this change, never informed owners that the vehicle must remain at the dealership, and never issued any communication indicating increased safety risk. I, as the owner, received no updated recall letter at all. My family and I have repeatedly asked the dealership and my Ford case representative to replace the broken side and release the truck until parts arrive for the other side. We were told this was “not allowed,” but neither Ford nor the dealer can provide written documentation requiring the vehicle to be held. My case representative has been extremely difficult to reach and has not provided clear or consistent information. This situation has left me without my vehicle for over seven months, with no timeline, no communication, and no justification for the vehicle being held. This appears to violate the intent of federal recall law, which requires timely repairs and prohibits withholding a vehicle without a stop‑drive order. I am requesting NHTSA review Ford’s handling of Recall 23S65, the excessive repair delays, and the lack of owner notification regarding updated repair requirements.

The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
The 8" digital cluster has gone blank. I cannot see any gauges, mileage, fuel or warnings messages. This is a major safety issue that should not be on the owner and should be covered by a recall. I brought it to the dealer to perform a test on the cluster and they came back saying it would need a replacement for $1800. A digital cluster should last the life of a vehicle not go out in the first 3 years just out of warranty.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact attempted to open the rear tailgate of the vehicle, and the tailgate inadvertently closed on the contact's arm. The contact was taken to a local emergency room and sustained a bruised and sprained humerus injury on their right arm. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 22,000.
Manufacturer Recall Number: 25S75 NHTSA Recall Number: 25V455 This recall has been open since July 8th, 2025 with no updates from Ford or the NHTSA. I am concerned because there is an increased risk of crash at failure, and the bulletin says that the risk is greater in high temperatures. I drive primarily in Texas and the Southwest United States. I have contacted my dealership every few months and they said they have no further information or ways to rectify the situation. I spoke to an NHTSA representative who said that I needed to file a report on this site to initiate an investigation since this recall has been open for so long. Reference #: XXX. It seems that Ford should have been able to access fuel pumps for replacement within the last 9 months. I just don't want to wait until it is too late to address. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The daytime running lights have failed one by one. Now they are all out of service. These are white LED fixtures built into the area around the headlight. These are not user-serviceable. The dealer says they are going out on all trucks due to a wiring issue.
The high beams do not activate under any circumstance. Have taken to dealership twice and they can’t figure it out. Allegedly they have a “hot ticket” with Ford engineering but no call to resolve or bring in for further diagnosis. Dash indicator light shows the high beams are active, and the fog lights turn off as designed when activated, but the lights themselves do not turn on. It was happening intermittently before both stopped working completely

Vehicle stalls out every 3-5 minutes after starting. Vehicle stops and will restart after start up but will only once again run for 3-5 minutes. Vehicle is a hazard on the road as well to the passengers. Local Ford Dealership and Ford Corp. both admit there is a recall (25S75) on my 2022 F-150 but are unaware of how to repair the vehicle. I am to wait until Ford develops a solution. Unwilling to provide a loaner vehicle while Ford comes up with a solution. They told me 3-6 months.
Recall was in July 2025, no remedy is yet available. This is taking an unreasonable amount of time.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention) and 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact called 3 additional dealers and each confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway and attempting to start the vehicle, the brake pedal was pumped approximately four times and the contact pressed the push-to-start button, but the vehicle failed to start. Additionally, there was an unintended activation of the electric parking brake. The contact stated that the battery seemed to be completely discharged. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V509000 (Parking Brake); however, the VIN was not included. The local dealer mobile service technician arrived at the residence and jumpstarted the vehicle, and the technician was able to disengage the electric parking brake. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the contact was informed that the battery was in good condition, and a system check was completed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but there was a language barrier, and no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 24,700.
The passenger door does not open from the outside. It only opens from the inside. It is unclear what caused this, as there has been no accident or slamming of the door. There is already a technical safety bulletin for this issue, but this needs to be a recall as it poses a significant safety risk and does not appear to be caused by negligence or collision.
Received recall notice for vehicle listed above. Contacted the local Ford dealer and talked to the service writer. They stated as the recall notice outlined that currently Ford does not have remedy for the situation. In the recall notice it outlines one of the issues could be the vehicle to stall particularly in hot weather conditions.. I live on the Gulf Coast (hot humid conditions) and commute 2x daily across elevated bridges that are notorious for accidents from stalled vehicles on the bridge. This is due to a faulty fuel pump system. My concern is that if I stall out on this bridge the results could be tragic for not only me but for other people using the bridge. To me this situation should be remedied in a "NOW" timeline to prevent the loss of life and equipment. The service writer agreed with me but didn't have a solution. Why doesn't Ford just install a new fuel pump that doesn't have this particular problem. In my opinion if they can't do that they should replace my current vehicle with a new of the same make and model. My life and that of others in this situation is more important than Ford's bottom line. I was driving through rain on [XXX] and my truck was having trouble shifting in 4x4 mode. An error message appeared stating "4x4 Service Needed". I clicked OK and the message went away. Due to driving, I was unable to take a photo of the error message. When I called Maguires Ford where I purchased the vehicle, they told me this message meant the system could malfunction and that I needed to bring the vehicle in ASAP. At first they told me there was no history of the error message and since they could not pull a code, there was nothing they could do. After reviewing a second time, they verified the error message did appear but they could still not pull a code so there wasn't anything they could do. They said most likely the rain got into the module and caused the system to malfunction. I asked how rain would get into the module and they didn't answer the question. No further investigation was completed and they told me to take the vehicle home. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
While driving multiple issues presented themselves. First was a drivers screen warning light. It said Drivetrain Malfunction-Power Reduced. I was on a 1000-mile road trip and wisas well into the trip. I kept driving without any operating issues with the exception of having steering wheel button controls malfunctions also. They included cruise control cancel button not working. The slow down button actually speeding up. This issue was actually repaired previously and now it is presenting itself again. Very unsafe when buttons work in reverse or don't work as intended. The Drivetrain Malfunction disappeared for the next few days but came back. There have been other wiring splicing repairs made at the dealer and these could be related. The wires were spliced because a wiring harness could not be obtained as it was backordered. Vehicle is just out of warranty and only has 23K miles. Critical wiring has corroded already.

The LED driving lights went out in my headlight assembly. I understand this is a relatively common defect for which I believe Ford should issue a recall
Hello, I am having trouble getting my safety recall repaired, and they told me to file a complaint here. NHTSA safety recall25v315. Please let me know if this is the right form to fill out.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that the front driver’s side headlight was not functioning as intended. The contact stated that the daytime running lights were inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that the driver's side front headlight needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,700.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to several dealers but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving and making a turn to pull out of the driveway, the rear passenger's side wheel started sliding. The contact stated that upon straightening up the wheel to drive forward, the rear passenger's side wheel responded as needed. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the rear passenger's side wheel spun and slid. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road temporarily. The contact stated that the failure recurred while turning and while driving straight. The contact was able to drive to the nearby residence. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 125,700.
The daytime running light on the passenger side of the vehicle has failed very prematurely - before even reaching 40000 miles. This is an issue as it puts me at risk if other drivers cannot see my lights. The problem is permanent and the entire headlight must be replaced. No warnings were present, I only happened to notice when approaching my truck one day.
Transmission consistently shifts hard, both up and down gears, and has a constant vibration in overdrive gears at 45-55 MPH. Transmission was inspected and found to have a bad valve body which was replaced. Vibration did not subside. Within 6 months, rough shifting returned and increased in frequency and force. Down shifting at braking becomes stuttered and can cause the vehicle to continue further along due to increased torque from the down shift. Up shifting can cause sudden acceleration due to inconsistent pause between hard shifts leading to unintended acceleration.
Stereo blasted static at full volume at decibels dangerously exceeding healthy limits while driving and would not turn off. Had to stop the vehicle and turn off in the middle of the road. Sound was so loud that my hearing was impacted and there is now ringing in both ears. If children were present, it would have been devastating. I was stuck in the middle of the road while traffic routed around my vehicle. If this happens to someone else, the noise/volume is so disorienting it could cause involuntary breaking or steering, resulting in a car accident. Please help, this is unacceptable.
