This is not a failed component, the issue is a design interaction issue. This truck when it gets stuck as it unfortunately very easily does even on wet grass goes into a traction control mode where the throttle is VERY damped but the issue is not only is the opening very dampened the closing is also VERY damped. This is made significantly worse by the fact that traction control cannot actually be disabled. There is a switch and it indicates it is disabled but the functionality remains the same. This combination means whenever you're working to get the truck unstuck, like yesterday when it was on wet grass you have to expect that the vehicle will suddenly accelerate as soon as it finds traction. normally you can counteract this by expecting to apply significant brakes as soon as it finds traction but if the front wheels are still on a slippery surface the ABS system will lose it's mind and essentially disable brakes as the vehicle accelerates violently backwards with the new found traction. This combination of software decisions makes it so you can very easily replicate an unintended acceleration scenario where the vehicle jumps back a solid 20' when this happens, not respecting any brake input given by the driver and certainly not respecting that the throttle was released long ago. The throttle closing should not be damped when traction control is running and the ABS system should not be behaving the way it does. I understand getting the vehicle unstuck from wet grass is not normal operation but that's what the traction control disable button should be for and Ford makes that button useless also. When taken together, all these engineering decisions make for a very unsafe situation that has zero reason to exist. I've attached pictures that show the overview of the situation as well as the characteristic ABS marks showing that it was disabling brakes.

2022 F350 SRW, King Ranch, Tremor Steering column began making clunking sound when hitting rough patches on highway. I then noticed that I was able to lift the steering wheel an inch or two up and also pull it towards me two to three inches and freely push it back in. I could wobble the steering wheel side to side as well. Felt very unsafe as I was on a 7 hour trip home. No warning lights or incident that contributed to problem
Glass roof panel behind sunroof (over rear seats of crew cab) shattered while driving on the highway at 5:30am with no other vehicles within several hundred yards. No sign of impact, remaining glass seems to be pushed outward.

Our truck is currently experiencing issue with the driver side door. In cold temperatures, the door will not open from the outside of the vehicle nor the inside of the vehicle. This is a known Ford recall with the F150 series as well. TSB/SSM 50543: SSM 50543 is a Ford Special Service Message addressing freezing door latches on 2021-2022 F-150 trucks. It addresses issues with doors failing to lock, unlock, or open in freezing temperatures due to water intrusion, instructing dealers to inspect and, if necessary, replace door latch cables and actuators. This is EXACTLY what we are experiencing with our 2022 F350.

Integrated trailer brake controller failing. Surging and randomly releasing trailer brakes. I tow a 16k lb. Trailer.
Synce 4 infotainment center with loose connection to phone causing phone to connect and disconnect and become statickey while driving. Ford dealerships when contacted do not have a fix and two dealers have said its a very common issue but no fix for it. safety risk is that while you think your hands free on the phone when it goes in and out of connection can cause a major distraction while driving. I have had two dealers provide feedback that this is an issue but not one that has a fix that they can do. It has not been inspected by police or insurance agent there is no warning lamps that have gone off
Loss of power to trailer brakes. Lights work, brakes get no power. Tested at plug on truck, no brake power, fuses checked, all still good. No messages for disconnected trailer.
NHTSA Complaint Draft Vehicle Information: Year/Make/Model: 2022 Ford F-350 VIN: [XXX] Recall Campaign: 25S75 / 25V455 Mileage: 38606 Problem Description: My 2022 Ford F-350 is subject to recall 25S75/25V455 (low-pressure fuel pump failure). Ford notified me on July 8, 2025, that no remedy is currently available. The recall states the fuel pump can fail, resulting in a loss of fuel pressure and engine stall while driving. This creates a serious safety risk of crash or injury. Despite acknowledging the defect, Ford has not provided a remedy, a timeline for repair, or safe alternative transportation. I feel unsafe driving this vehicle, and I am still financially responsible for it. Safety Concern: The risk of the engine stalling while driving, especially at highway speeds, creates an immediate danger to myself, passengers, and other motorists. Resolution Sought: Require Ford to provide a safe loaner or rental vehicle until a remedy is available, OR Require Ford to buy back or pay off the balance of this unsafe vehicle until the defect is resolved. 1 month ago my vehicle intermittently would not shut off. You could hit the Start/Stop button and from all dash board appearances the truck was off, but the truck was still running. I resorted to pulling a circuit breaker to get the truck off. I found NHTSA 10226938 and replaced the Battery Junction Box as prescribed. This fixed the vehicle for a few weeks, but now the issue is back. There is no water intrusion in the BSB junction box.
As a Ford owner, I can vividly recall the 1980’s Ford acronym ‘fix or repair daily’. That comes to mind as my 2022 F350 Platinum Dually has been in the shop for one thing or another more times in 3 years than my 2015 Chevy Impala LTZ has in 10 years. But I digress. The reason for this complaint is my latest malfunction on my Ford vehicle. As mentioned previously, it hasn’t been 3 years and yet another issue with my vehicle has come to light. My passenger roof trim has broken at the connection point, which of all things, was connected via rivet…beneath the rear glass. Apparently, this an extremely common issue among 2017 and up Ford Super Duty. There has been no recall issued. And Ford wants the vehicle owners to pay for the repair. It is an absolute horrible design. The plastic breaks often. And to make matters worse, the rear glass had to be removed to replace the trim. Most of the trim snaps in place but the very end, the end that is cheaply made and connected to a metal rivet, is so fragile and thin that after a few months of driving over American bumpy roads and being beating up the Sun, it cracks, breaks lose, sticks up like a sore thumb, and otherwise detracts from the reputation of the Ford Brand. My vehicle is still under the original warranty as I have only 22,240 miles, and I purchased and extended warranty with adds 4 more years. This needs to be remedied and Ford owners need to be compensated for monies spent to repair these manufacturing defects. MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP STATES THAT IF THEY BREAK THE GLASS DURING THE REPAIR THAT THE COST OF THE NEW GLASS IS MY RESPONSIBILITY, EVEN UNDER WARRANTY. That is so very wrong and alarming. The repair is $125, to be completed by an outside vendor. The dealer will not even tackle this repair. THE CONNECTION POINT OF THE ROOF TRIM IS A RIVET. Why? THE CONNECTION POINT OF THE ROOF TRIM IS BENEATH THE REAR GLASS, WHICH HAS TO BE REMOVED INORDER TO REPAIR THE DEFECTIVE ROOF TRIM. Why? Why make
The fan clutch assembly failed and as a result the drive mode would not change from tow/haul mode to any of the other 4 drive modes. Accelerations and decelerations were negatively affected as a result creating safety hazards when driving. The engine was always responding as if a trailer were attached and subsequently accelerations were difficult and decelerations consistently utilized the trailer engine braking system, similar to semi-trucks utilizing the Jake-Braking systems, This is a significant safety issue and needs to have a recall issued for the replacement of these fan clutch assemblies.
Driverside rear axle snapped. There is a recall right now for the 2023 with similar issue. The truck is sitting at Murray ford in kingsland,ga waiting parts to completely replace a new axle. It does go into park or anything
The contact's husband owns a 2022 Ford F-350 SD. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle lost motive power with the check engine warning light displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed, and the contact was informed that the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) needed to be replaced. The contact initially assumed that the vehicle would be covered under warranty; however, the warranty did not cover the repair. The contact was then referred to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was repaired out of pocket. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350SD. The contact stated while driving at 5 MPH, the vehicle shut off with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact used a diagnostic machine and diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the high-pressure fuel rail and high-pressure fuel rail sensor were defective. The contact replaced the high-pressure rail fuel sensor; however, the error code remained. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal popping sound coming from the vehicle, with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact self-diagnosed the vehicle and retrieved a code that the low-pressure fuel rail was defective. The contact also discovered oil leaking out of the O-rings where the fuel injectors were located. The dealer was contacted, and the vehicle towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle with a defective low-pressure fuel pump. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.
Was driving at 06:30 in the morning on a multi-lane highway with light rain. Sudden explosion of the forward sunroof panel with glass shattering everywhere. It was a very loud boom that occurred. No other vehicles were close by so this was not a rock thrown. Plus the roof is 7 feet off the ground which makes it very unlikely with no other vehicles close by.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic signal with his foot on the brake pedal, the vehicle suddenly accelerated as if he had applied the accelerator. The contact stated that his vehicle front end crashed into the rear end of the vehicle. The contact stated that he turned the vehicle off to stop it from continuing to gain forward momentum. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle and pulled over. The contact stated that his lower front bumper was dented and had scratches. The contact stated that the vehicle he had crashed into had damage to the tail gate and rear bumper. The contact stated that no one was injured and both vehicles were able to drive away. The police were not called. The contact stated that prior to the crash the vehicle was having multiple electrical failures and numerous warning lights had illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. The vehicle repaired, however the contact stated that he was still having warning lights and that the vehicle was shifting roughly from park (P) to drive (D) or from park (P) to reverse (R). Additionally, the contact stated that the accelerator pedal was failing to respond when he applied the pedal. The contact had taken the vehicle back to the same dealer who replaced the battery junction box. The contact stated that the dealer had replaced the battery junction box according to a manufacturer technical service bulletin number 23-2133 (Electrical System). The contact stated that prior to the crash, again the accelerator pedal failed to respond when he applied the pedal. The contact stated that he had used a hand held scanner and was getting codes for electrical system failures, ignition cylinder codes, ABS faults, Body Control Module throttle control codes. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer and was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and advised the dealer not continue repairing the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The occupants immediately exited the vehicle, and the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The fire department was called to the scene and extinguished the flames. During the incident, the vehicle was completely destroyed, and the trailer had sustained severe fire damage to the front end. A police report was taken at the scene, and both the vehicle and trailer were towed away. No injuries were reported, but both the driver and passenger were severely stressed mentally from the incident. The cause of the failure has not yet been determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the incident. The failure mileage was 30,051.

The manufacturer was contacted, and a claim was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 100,100.
my back rear view camera quit working immediately about 4 or 4 weeks ago. I tried to see if I had a loose wire but. One seemed loose or broken. I only have a blue screen. My rear facing camera over the cab stop light works fine if the switch is pushed. Now I have noticed there are thousands of Ford vehicles already recalled for rear camera issues. However when I called my dealership I was told I’m not on the recall list. As far as I can tell it’s because my Ford F350 is a 2022 built in July of 2021. I hate to say it but I believe the recall needs to be expanded. As I’m sure there are a whole lot more vehicles with this rear camera issues. Please take this case into consideration and hopefully get it included in the recall.
My truck is only 3 years old. However about 3 months ago I noticed my rear view camera quit working. I only get a black or blue screen. Every other camera still works. I know there are over 1 million ford vehicles with this exact same issue that are under a recall. I would like to know why mine is not. I do not think it is fair I have to pay to repair an issue that’s covered by over 1 million other Ford vehicles.
I was driving on [XXX] in St Louis County Missouri during rush hours traffic. I experienced a blow out on my drivers front tire. I was surrounded by lots of heavy traffic from passenger cars to tractor trailer going more than 60 mph. I slowly got to the right shoulder. Modot and the state highway patrol blocked the traffic away from us while AAA changed my tire. After I was ready to leave I noticed my traffic early collision warning, and other safety warning systems were not working now. I also noticed my rear view camera was not operating either. This was the first time I noticed any issue with my safety systems. I got. Ew tires and changed them all 6 out. Still my rear view camera is not operating. I did notice Ford was getting ready to put in a recall for rear view camera for F350’s from 2015 to 2025. I do have a 2022 so I feel I am in the recall. Please let me know if I should go to my dealer for repairs under the recall. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
While driving with the cruise set I wanted to reduce speed and hit the minus speed button on the cruise control which caused the vehicle to speed up which made me hit it quickly a couple more times to slow it down and it responded by speeding up more and led me to slam on the brakes. Luckily no one was in front of me so I didn’t rear end them when it sped up and no one was behind me that could have rear ended me when I slammed on the brakes.
Rear facing camera/back-up assistant distorted view. Problem confirmed by local dealer. Ford motor company impairing dealer's ability to complete repairs under warranty. Ford Motor Company mandating unrelated maintenance actions at customer expense ($350). More details contained in attachment: NHTSA FORD COMPLAINT

1.Spark Plug Wire Failures: oIncident 1: On December 15, 2024, a spark plug wire failure on cylinder #1 caused a misfire and check engine light (code P0301), reducing engine power while towing a 10,000-pound trailer on I-90. Wendle Ford Spokane repaired it under warranty. oIncident 2: On April 10, 2025, another failure on a different cylinder triggered a misfire and check engine light, requiring a $766 repair (invoice attached). These failures are a known defect in 2020–2022 Super Duty trucks, per owner forums and a 7.3L motorhome Technical Service Bulletin. oSafety Risk: Misfires reduce power and control, endangering occupants and other drivers, especially during heavy towing in winter conditions. 2.Front Differential Failure: oOn April 5, 2025, the front differential failed, disabling 4x4 throughout the 2024–2025 winter. Discovered during a snowstorm on a rural job site, the loss of 4x4 compromised traction and stability, requiring a one-week repair. oSafety Risk: Loss of 4x4 in adverse conditions increases the risk of skidding or stranding, particularly for a heavy-duty truck used in construction.
Minor issue started during heavy rain last week, went out in morning and power steps would not function. After starting, the rear sliding window opened and would not shut. Researched solution and reset the steps in the computer. Let truck sit for 5 hours at work (not raining) and apparently circuit dried out and window was able to close. Fast forward to Thursday night (4/1), flood rains had started. On the way home from work, the rear sliding window started opening again by itself, but was able to close it with the switch. It did this several times. Went out to start the truck Friday evening and all i got was flickering lights that dimmed when the start button was pushed. No controls worked. By Saturrday morning, there was no lights or any control. all electronics are non-functional. I checked and the batteries are fully charged, so it is not a battery/alternator problem - I expect water has infiltrated into the electronics/computer. Luckily, this short out did not happen on the whole system while I was driving.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350. The contact stated the check engine warning would illuminate on cold starts and would remain illuminated while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the Reductant Heater and Sender Assembly on the 6.7L diesel engine needed to be replaced. The mechanic related the failure to Ford Customer Satisfaction Program Number: 18M01(Reductant Heater and Sender Assembly Repair). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that the VIN was not included, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.
Front facing camera, located in front grill, has inadequate water proofing, which eventually shorts out the camera and causing it to become inoperable. This creates a blind spot when backing up or driving in tight spaces with such a large truck. When the front camera blacks out, you lose visibility in front of the vehicle. This is a safety issue, because the size of the truck, how high it sits from the factory, and no visibility over the hood could cause a collision with low height persons or kids or property. Yes, this issue has been reproduced by the dealer. And there are numerous reports of people on message forums and social media complaining of this issue. There were no warnings of this prior to failure. One day the front facing camera simply stopped working, leaving a black screen for any camera views that include the front camera.
After the truck had been sitting in the driveway for a couple days I noticed a wet spot underneath the truck, I looked under the truck and noticed there was diesel on the fuel line and the top of the fuel tank was wet with diesel fuel.

Highway travel at approx 65mph, experienced a sudden violent uncontrollable steering wheel movement known as a death wobble. Uncontrollable steering wheel movement increased resulting in a reactionary driver hard breaking application to try and regain control of the vehicle steering WITHOUT checking rear view mirror for other motorists close behind. Speed dropped to approx 30-35mph before regaining control of steering. Fortunately no vehicles were following close behind or the affected vehicle and other highway occupants may have resulted in a crash caused by the uncontrollable vehicle and sudden breaking. Components/systems involved include front suspension/steering. Dealer #1 stated vehicle was inspected and found no abnormal wear or damage, all specs within limits. Dealer #2 found steering damper depleted requiring replacement (warranty covered), and front end alignment found out of specifications requiring addition parts installed at owner cost ($787), all while under warranty at approx 19000mi at time of occurrence. No prior symptoms or indications. One owner/driver vehicle since new. Incident occurred without warning and immediate unsafe driving conditions occured. Trip continued for approx 1000mi without further incident until inspected by 2 Ford dealerships until some sort of corrective action applied.
