The contact owns a 2013 Ford Flex. The contact stated the alarm and sensors were activated without warning. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 20V072000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 144,284. Parts distribution disconnect.
I was driving down I-285 (Atlanta) with my two daughters in the car and both the “Service Power Steering” and “Service AdvanceTrac” lights came on. About 10-15 min into the drive, it became really hard to turn my steering wheel. We were still about 30 min from our house so I had no choice but to drive very slowly until we could get somewhere safe. While trying to turn off the interstate, my steering wheel completely locked up on me!!! Now my car is at my mother’s house because I couldn’t drive any further in fear of an accident. My mechanic put this car on a computer and no codes showed up. From my understanding there was a recall for this particular issue. The dealer I purchased the car from stated they were not aware of this issue and the car showed no signs that the power steering was about to go out.
I had a recall for the driver door latch to be replaced. The very day that it was replaced, I get in, start my vehicle and the passenger door light comes on showing that it's open but it wasn't. I immediately go back inside to ask the service department since they literally just replaced the recalled drivers door latch. They stated that "it's a coincidence " and that it would cost to fix it. I drove it for as long as I could but my alarm would randomly go off and lights start blinking. I was afraid I'd come out oand my vehicle not start due to the battery being dead because of the alarm and lights going off. I broke down and paid to have the passenger door light fixed which the Ford service department told me it would. The EXACT same thing happened and now my back passenger door light keeps coming on!! Alarm randomly goes off and lights blink. I can't afford to gix this again. They told me it would fix the problem yet once they replaced the recalled door latch this has now happened with other doors.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Flex. The contact stated that upon opening the front passenger’s and driver’s side doors, a loud grinding sound was coming from the dashboard. The contact also stated that both doors would intermittently fail to unlock upon depressing the unlock button. The contact also noticed that the vehicle was consuming fuel soon after refueling. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the Vin was not under recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

THE CONTACT CALLED RUSTY ECK FORD (7310 E KELLOGG AVE, WICHITA, KS 67207, (316) 685-9211) TO CONFIRM THAT THE PART WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. RECALL 20S04 I HAVE SECOND LTR. CONTACTED MAC HAIK PASADENA TX 26 FEB 21. THEY TOLD ME PARTS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL MAY. CONTACTED IN MAY, NOW TELL BE PARTS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL LATE JUNE. FORD CUSTOMER SVC REPORTS PARTS NOW AVAILABLE.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FLEX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR REVIEW CAMERA FAILED TO OPERATE CORRECTLY INTERMITTENTLY, AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND SUGGESTED TO THE CONTACT THAT HE NEEDED TO PERFORM A SOFTWARE UPDATE WITH THE FLASH DRIVE THAT HE HAD PURCHASED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED AND CAUSED SEVERAL OTHER SOFTWARE RELATED FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 97,000.
IN SEPTEMBER, THE DRIVERS SIDE SECOND ROW SEATBELT BROKE, THE MALE CONNECTION. I CALLED OUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $750 TO REPLACE. WE STARTED USING THE THIRD ROW INSTEAD. JUST TODAY, THE FEMALE CONNECTION ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SECOND ROW SEAT BROKE. FORD IS TELLING ME THEY WON'T REPLACE THE SEATBELTS. I CANNOT AFFORD TO REPLACE THEM. AND I DON'T THINK SUCH AN ESSENTIAL SAFETY FEATURE SHOULD BE LEFT TO US FOR A VEHICLE LESS THAN 10 YEARS OLD. DO I DRIVE WITH MY CHILDREN UNSECURED AND JUST HAVE OUR FAMILY SUE FORD WHEN WE ARE ALL DEAD?
WE HAVE 2 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE AIRBAGS. I WAS DRIVING 65MPH ON HIGHWAY AND HIT A BEAR ON FRONT DRIVERS SIDE (AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY.) REPAIRED THE CAR. MY DAUGHTER WAS IN A HIGHWAY COLLISION REAR ENDED A PERSON AT 43 -45 MPH AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. INFORMED YESTERDAY THE CAR IS A TOTAL LOSS. SHE HAD HER GLASSES THROWN OFF HER FACE DASH WAS PUSHED BACK, TROOPER AND TOW TRUCK DRIVER WERE SHOCKED THEY DIDN'T GO OFF. SHE WAS NOT INJURED HAVING CONCUSSIVE SYMPTOMS. WE ALSO FOUND OUT THAT THE VIN DOES NOT MATCH THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR AS THEY WERE RUNNING THE SPECS OF THE VEHICLE. THE VIN IS SAYING THAT IT IS A CLOTH INTERIOR AND MY CAR HAS LEATHER INTERIOR. IF IT WAS AN UPGRADE IT SHOULD STILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN OF THE CAR?*DT*JB
WHILE TAKING A SHARP RIGHT TURN ONTO A FREEWAY ONRAMP FROM A STOP AT AN INTERSECTION, THE VEHICLE MADE A "DING" NOTIFICATION SOUND FROM THE DASHBOARD AND POWERFULLY FLUNG MY STEERING WHEEL AGAINST THE WAY I WAS STEERING. IF THERE WAS AN ADJACENT LANE WHERE I WAS DRIVING, THE VEHICLE ABSOLUTELY WOULD HAVE VEERED INTO THE ONCOMING LANE. I WAS ABLE TO OVERPOWER THE STEERING WHEEL AND FORCE THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER, WHERE I NOTICED "POWER STEERING FAULT" DISPLAYED ON THE DASH. I POWERED OFF THE CAR, WAITED A FEW SECONDS, AND POWERED IT BACK ON, AND IT WORKED AFTER THAT.
THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING STOPS WORKING RANDOMLY ALLOWING NO ASSIST UNTIL VEHICLE IS SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED. FORD DOES HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS SAME ISSUE FORD SLIGHTLY OLDER VEHICLES WITH THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. WHEN THE POWER STEERING FAILURE HAPPENS, VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND TRYING TO TURN, LOW SPEEDS ONLY SO FAR.
ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 22, 2021 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:05 P.M. WHILE DRIVING THE INTERCHANGE FROM THE SOUTHBOUND 55 FWY TO THE NORTHBOUND 405 FWY (IN COSTA MESA, CA) AT A SPEED OF 60 MPH MY 2013 FORD FLEX SEL BEGAN FISHTAILING ERRATICALLY ' SWERVING AND JERKING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN LANES. AFTER A FRIGHTENING 10-20 SECONDS, I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER THE CAR TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF THE INTERCHANGE WITHOUT ROLLING THE CAR OR HITTING ANYTHING OR ANYONE. (AT THE TIME THERE WAS AN AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TRAFFIC ON THE ROAD ALL GOING ABOUT 50-60 MPH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE SUNNY, 65). MY INITIAL STOPPING POINT WAS NOT IN A SAFE LOCATION SO WHEN I PROCEEDED TO GO FORWARD ABOUT 300 FEET TO A SLIGHTLY SAFER LOCATION, I COULD AGAIN FEEL THE CAR START TO FISHTAIL WHILE GOING ONLY 5-10 MPH AND MY STEERING WHEEL WAS COMPLETELY OFF BALANCE AND NOT CENTERED. I INSPECTED THE CAR AND COULD SEE NO VISIBLE PROBLEM BESIDES MY STEERING WHEEL BEING OFF CENTER. THE CAR WAS TOWED VIA FLAT BED TOW TRUCK 13 MILES TO VILLA FORD IN ORANGE, CA WHERE IT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY DETERMINED TO BE A FAILED TOE LINK SUSPENSION ASSOCIATED WITH FORD RECALL 20S04. I WANTED TO REPORT MY EXPERIENCE AND REITERATE THAT THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE!! I COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN KILLED HAD I HIT SOMETHING LIKE THE FREEWAY CONCRETE BARRIER OR OVER-CORRECTED TOO FAST WHEN THE CAR STARTED TO FISHTAIL AND SWERVE AND NOT BEEN ABLE TO DECELERATE QUICK ENOUGH (AND THANK GOODNESS MY THREE KIDS WEREN'T IN THE CAR WITH ME!) I URGE YOU TO START PUSHING FORD TO TAKE THIS RECALL MORE SERIOUSLY!! I NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE AND ONLY LEARNED OF THIS ISSUE AFTER GOOGLING TO SEE IF ANY OTHERS HAVE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE BECAUSE IT HAD SCARED ME SO MUCH. I WAS SHOCKED AT READING ALL THE STORIES OF SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. PLEASE, PLEASE CONTINUE TO PUSH FORD TO COMMUNICATE THIS ISSUE OUT TO PEOPLE THAT HAVE CARS THAT ARE AFFECTED!!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAULT MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER WALNUT CREEK FORD LOCATED AT 1800 N MAIN ST, WALNUT CREEK, CA 94596 WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING RACK WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE WAS REMEDIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,349.
Rear view camera does not come on in reverse gear. It was looked at about 18 months ago and the dealership service manager said it was the camera that needed to be replaced. they also saw that the camera came on for a few seconds , then went off again. they tried it about five times ,on and off. they wanted to charge me $200.00 to diagnose the problem. so , here i am complaining to nhtsa about my vehicle's problem.

The contact stated while the vehicle was parked and she was attempting to start the vehicle, a message for the steering motor sensor fault was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle loss power steering assist functionality. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle and the message disappeared and the vehicle regained power steering assist functionality. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the steering rack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
WATER PUMP FAILED IN THE INTERNAL ENGINE PART ON 2013 FORD FLEX. A KNOWN PROBLEM BY FORD MOTOR CO FOR YEARS AND FORD REFUSES TO ISSUE A RECALL. BECAUSE THE WATER PUMP IS AN INTERNAL PART OF THE MOTOR, THE COST TO REPAIR IS OVER $2000 .
WHILE DRIVING, WARNING NOTICE CAME ON SAYING STEERING ASSIST FAULT, THAT VERY MOMENT THE STEERING LOCKED ON ME AND WAS UNABLE TO TURN.
I HAVE A SAFETY CONCERN ON MY 2013 FORD FLEX VIN# [XXX] I HAD A RECALL REPLACED IN NOVEMBER 2020 FOR FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCH. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM 19N09 AS SOON AS I GOT IN MY CAR AFTER THE REPLACED RECALL, THE PASSENGER DOOR LIGHT CAME ON SAYING IT WAS OPEN EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T. I WENT BACK INSIDE AND ASKED ABOUT IT. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY, THAT ONLY THE DRIVER SIDE WAS. IT WAS VERY STRANGE THAT IT HAPPENED TO POP UP DIRECTLY AFTER GETTING THE RECALL FOR THE DRIVER SIDE REPLACED. AS SOON AS I SAVE ENOUGH MONEY, I WILL GET IT FIXED BUT IF THE DRIVER SIDE HAD A WARRANTY, I FEEL THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE SHOULD TOO. 2013 FORD FLEX ISSUES WITH DOOR SENSORS READING DOOR OPEN WHEN DOORS ARE CLOSED. DOME LIGHTS STAY ON, ALARM WILL NOT GO ON AND PANIC ALARM GOES OFF ON ITS OWN. DRIVE DOOR LOCK NO LONGER WORK & NEITHER DOES THE RIGHT BACK PASSENGER DOOR.
I WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET AND ALL OF A SUDDEN COULDN'T STEER MY STEERING WHEEL. MY DASH LIT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE AND GAVE ME A POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT MESSAGE. I PULLED OVER AND TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR AND IMMEDIATELY GOT THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT MESSAGE AGAIN. IT WAS SCARY AND VERY DANGEROUS. I NOW HAVE NO POWER STEERING AND APPARENTLY MY VEHICLE DOES NOT FALL UNDER THE RECALL. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE THOUSANDS HAVING THIS ISSUE. IF FORD REALLY CARED ABOUT OUR SAFETY THEY WOULD AT LEAST MEET US HALFWAY WITH THE COST OF REPAIRS. I'M LOOKING AT OVER $2000 OUT OF POCKET. THIS IS FRUSTRATING AND PAINFUL FOR ME AS I HAVE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND IT CAUSES STRESS ON MY JOINTS TO DRIVE IT AS IS. I AM NOW TERRIFIED EVERY TIME I GET IN MY CAR TO DRIVE.

DOOR ADJAR. DOOR OPENED WHILE DRIVING. DOOR RANDOMLY UNLOCKS AND SETS ALARM OFF. HAS CAUSED A DEAD BATTERY. WILL LOCK & UNLOCK WHILE TRAVELING.
ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING ASSIST STOPED WORKING AND WARNINING MESSAGE ON DASH DISPLAY.FRACTURE OF REAR TOE LINK RECALL#20V072 HAVE NOT BEEN REPAIRED AS OF 8/30/2020
WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEED (< 20 MPH), WITHIN 20 SECONDS OF BEGINNING A TRIP, THE CAR GAVE A WARNING DIALOG (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO) AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. IT TOOK ALL OF MY STRENGTH TO KEEP IT ON THE ROAD. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAFELY. AFTER SHUTTING DOWN THE CAR AND RESTARTING IT, THE PROBLEM WAS TEMPORARILY RESOLVED. THE NEXT TIME I DROVE THE CAR, THE PROBLEM RECURRED, AND SINCE THEN HAS RECURRED EVERY TIME I TRY TO DRIVE IT.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Flex. The contact stated while making a right turn, the steering wheel malfunctioned and momentarily seized and could not be turned. Moments later the steering wheel would turn however, the steering wheel would shake and vibrate abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who replaced the entire suspension system, but the failure persisted. The dealer later diagnosed that the steering gear was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 15V340000 (Steering). The contact indicated that the vehicle experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 130,000.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN SUDDENLY LOST ALL POWER STEERING WITHOUT NOTICE. ALERT SHOWED UP ON DASHBOARD. VERY HARD TO CONTROL ESPECIALLY AT SLOW SPEEDS. BROUGHT TO FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE RECALL SINCE IT DOESNT APPLY TO MY VIN BUT EVERYTHING ELSE THEY RECALLED FOR MATCHES MY CAR.
POWER STEERING WENT OUT IN REVERSE. TURNED VEHICLE OFF AND RESTARTED POWER STEERING CAME BACK. WENT TO FORD GARAGE SOFTWARE AND STEERING HAD TO BE REPLACED. CAR HAS 82K MILES. FORD WOULD NOT COVER THIS UNDER THE RECALL.
THE STEERING WENT OUT ONE WEEK AGO. CHECKED ALL THE RECALLS IT MATCHES THE DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM AND MEETS ALL THE TIMELINES BUT WAS SOMEHOW LIKE THE REST NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. DEALER IS PRESENTING ME WITH CHARGES IN EXCESS OF $2000 TO REPAIR. I HAVE TRIED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH FORD TO NO AVAIL. NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING. THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND I HAVE TO PICK THE VEHICLE UP TOMORROW. THE STEERING IS NEARLY COMPLETELY GONE.

THE BRAKES MAKE GRINDING NOISE AND SLIPPING HARD TO STOP MY BRAKE PADS AND ROTES PRETTY NEW WENT AND GOT NEW BRAKE PADS STILL SAME PROBLEM ESPECIALLY DURING HARDER BRAKING CAR NOT STOPPING THERE IS BRAKE FLUID AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE IN TOP SHAPE BUT CAR WILL NOT BRAKE PROPERLY AND MAKE GRINDING NOISE
WHILE I WAS PULLING OUT OF MY WORK PARKING LOT, THE POWER STEERING FAILURE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE STEERING BECAME EXTREMELY HARD TO CONTROL. UNLIKE OLDER VEHICLES WITHOUT POWER STEERING, IT WAS VERY STIFF AND HARD TO CONTROL NO MATTER WHAT SPEED I WAS GOING. WHEN I LOOKED UP THE ISSUE THERE IS AN OPEN RECALL FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND EVEN IN THE YEAR CAR THAT I HAVE. WHEN I CALLED IN TO GET IT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL THEY SAY THAT MY VIN IS NOT COVERED IN THE RECALL. THEY CLEARLY KNOW THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND IT'S HAPPENING TO MY TYPE OF CAR. HAD MY WIFE BEEN DRIVING WITH OUR KIDS AND DIDN'T HAVE THE STRENGTH TO CONTROL THE CAR HOME WHO KNOWS WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM AND ACCORDING TO SEVERAL FORUMS I HAVE READ, I AM NOT ALONE. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED.

HAVE TO REPEATEDLY OPEN AND CLOSE DOOR, HARD, TO GET THE SENSOR TO CORRECT. OUT OF WARRANTY, 147,000 MILES ON FLEX.
ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EPAS) COMPLETELY OUT AND WHEEL CAN BARELY BE TURNED. NO POWER STEERING. MY FLEX WAS SITTING ON THE TOP FLOOR OF A 7 STORY PARKING GARAGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 67 MPH, A LOUD POPPING NOISE OCCURRED AND DRIVER SUDDENLY LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO VIOLENTLY SWERVE WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. A TOW TRUCK WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR SUSPENSION TOE LINK HAD FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. DURING THE INCIDENT THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED A LEFT SHOULDER RE-INJURY WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE LOCAL DEALER ST. GEORGE FORD (145 HILTON DR. ST. GEORGE, UT) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN NUMBER 20V072000 (SUSPENSION) BUT THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE FAILURE WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE. FORD RECALLED DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY ON DRIVER DOOR AND IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THE SAME ASSEMBLY IN OTHER DOORS SHOULD BE COVERED IN THE RECALL. WHY WOULD YOU COVER THE ASSEMBLY IN A DRIVER DOOR AND NOT THE PASSENGER DOOR. IF THE ASSEMBLY IS FAULTY, IT SHOULD BE FIXED REGARDLESS OF THE DOOR IT IS IN. THE SENSOR IN THE DOOR LATCH THINKS THE DOOR IS OPEN WHEN IT IS CLOSED, CAUSING THE DOME LIGHTS TO STAY ON AND THE WARNING TO CONSTANTLY SOUND UNTIL YOU CAN CLOSE IT AND THE SENSOR CATCHES. IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING ON THE PASSENGER DOOR FOR SEVERAL MONTHS.

RECEIVED LETTER FROM FORD ADVISING THEY WOULD REPLACE DRIVER DOOR SENSOR DUE TO ISSUES THAT RESULT IN IT READING DOOR AJAR, RESULTING IN DOME LIGHTS STAYING ON AND BATTERY DRAIN. THE SAME ISSUE OCCURS ON OTHER DOORS, SPECIFICALLY ON MINE THE BACK DRIVER SIDE DOOR. THIS HAPPENS SPORADICALLY, WHILE DRIVING, WHILE PARKED, EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS NOT UTILIZED.
THIRD TIME HAVING THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED . PUMP FAILS EVERY 20-30K MILES. CAR WILL STOP RUNNING WHILE DRIVING ON ROADWAYS, UNABLE TO RESTART VEHICLE. HAD TO PULL OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD AND WAIT FOR TOW. 1ST TIME 36,000 MILES 2ND 53,000, 3RD 90,000. ALL REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED BY FORD SERVICE CENTER

THE MANUFACTURER ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE VEHICLE SLOWLY RAN OVER A CURB. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ANY ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE. THE DEALER DENIED ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE CODE ONLY SHOWING THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED DUE TO IMPACT, AND NOT THAT THE PSCM FAILURE WAS THE CAUSE OF THE IMPACT.*JS
