Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)OWN 2006 FORD RANGER SPORT 4X4. TODAY, 06-11-11 I LOST THE REAR BRAKES FOR THE SECOND TIME. THE FIRST TIME WAS ABOUT A YEAR AGO. TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO A FORD DEALER FOR REPAIR. AFTER INSPECTING THE BRAKES, THEY ASKED ME IF I PARK IN STANDING WATER. I TOLD THEM NO, IN A PARKING LOT.THEY SAID THE REAR BRAKE COMPONENTS WERE FROZEN AND CORODED. I FELT THE REAR DRUMS TODAY AND THEY ARE ICE COLD. IF THEY ARE WORKING PROPERLY, THE REAR DRUMS WOULD BE HOT. ITS A VERY SCAREY FEELING WHEN YOU HIT THE BRAKES AND THE TRUCK DOES NOT STOP. PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IF OTHER TRUCK OWNERS HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM. *TR
