Car went from park position to reverse jumped gear?
' MY DRIVER-SIDE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE RETURN SPRING HAS RECENTLY UNSEATED. (DOOR WILL NOT LATCH). VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN LATCH BROKE. ' THIS CONDITION IS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED IN FORD RECALL 15S02. ' FORD IS REFUSING TO COVER THE REPAIR SINCE THE BUILD-DATE OF MY CAR WAS 6 MONTHS LATER THAN 15S02 RECALLED VEHICLES. ' MY DATE MAY BE 6 MONTHS LATER THAN THE FORD SPECIFIED END-DATE BUT I HAVE THE IDENTICAL UNSAFE CONDITION (AND VEHICLE MODEL / YEAR) AS DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL. ' TWO QUESTIONS: 1) WHERE DOES FORD GET THESE RECALL DATES? (WHEN OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE CARS BUILT LATER WITH THE SAME ISSUE) 2) HOW CAN I MAKE FORD COVER THIS REPAIR?
DRIVERS SIDE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE RETURN SPRING BROKEN AND DOES NOT RETURN TO CLOSED POSITION. OTHER VEHICLES ARE RECALLED, WHY NOT THIS ONE? DOOR CLOSES AND OPENS BUT DOES NOT FEEL SAFE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
" TAKATA RECALL" ABS ! LIGHT ON IP BREAK LIGHT ON SENSER A SPEED LIGHTS ON
THIS IS A RECALL COMPLAINT. THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR HANDLE AT THE END OF MARCH 2015. TOOK THE CAR IN AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD THE PARTS AND CAR WOULD BE READY AT DAY'S END. WHEN I WENT BACK, THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T GET THE PART AND AUTO WOULD BE READY ON MONDAY. ON MONDAY THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE THE PART AND AS OF TODAY AUG. 26, 2015, THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THE NECESSARY PART. THEY DID PROVIDE US WITH A RENTAL VEHICLE, BUT WHEN I DO PICK-UP MY CAR????????THEY WILL CHARGE ME 300+$ FOR THE WORK THEY DID FOR MY 50,000 MI CHECK-UP. I THINK THEY SHOULD CANCEL THAT FEE FOR THE MONTHS OF INCONVENIENCE THEY HAVE CAUSED ME!!!!!!! PLUS THEY HAVE LEFT MY CAR SITTING OUTSIDE ALL OF THIS TIME! WEEDS, SUMMER SUN BEATING DOWN HAVE ALL CAUSED DETERIORATION TO MY ALWAYS (BEFORE) GARAGE KEPT CAR. CAN YOU HELP?

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DETERMINED THAT THE FRONT INTERIOR DOOR LATCH WAS ALSO DEFECTIVE. THE DEALER COULD NOT RELEASE THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE TO HIM DUE TO SAFETY GUIDELINES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V040000 (STRUCTURE) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE DELAY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
WE OWN A 2011 FORD TAURUS LIMITED ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WE HAVE HAD THE CAR TO THE FORD DEALERS FOR A PROBLEM WITH DUST COMING IN THE CAR AROUND THE SEATS BOTH FRONT AND BACK. THEY REPLACED THE SEALS AROUND THE DOORS THE FIRST TIME THIS DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE. ON AUGUST 02,2013 WE HAD THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY INSTALLED MORE PARTS TO THE CAR STILL NOT FIXED. I CONTACTED FORD MOTOR COMPANY AGAIN AND THE REFERRED ME TO A LADY PATTY A REGIONAL CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER. ON 08/22/2013 I MADE CONTACT WITH HER SHE CONTACTED THEIR TECHNICAL PEOPLE AND GOT BACK WITH ME STATING THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO FOR THIS CAR STATING THAT IT WAS A DESIGN ISSUE AND THEY HAVE OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER AREAS OF THE COUNTRY WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I WOULD LIKE TO NO WHAT ELSE I CAN DO TO GET THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED AS FORD HAS ALREADY TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THE CAN DO. *TR
