TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC ENVOY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING, THE VEHICLE REAR SUSPENSION DROPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS STATED THAT THE REAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

MY 2004 GMC ENVOY SLID INTO A CURB AND ROLLED ON ITS SIDE. I BELIEVE THAT THE ACCIDENT WAS CAUSED BY BALL JOINT FAILURE. I COULD NOT GET ANY ASSISTANCE IN THE INVESTIGATION, BUT I KNOW THAT THE ACCIDENT WAS CAUSED BY MECHANICAL FAILURE AND HAVE PICTURES AND WITNESSES FOR THIS ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AS A RESULT OF THIS ACCIDENT. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW AND NEVER HAD ANY REPAIRS OR WORK DONE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT WHEEL. IT WAS A 2004 MODEL WITH AROUND 20000 MILES. I WOULD ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE AND WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GO ON THE RECORD WITH THIS COMPLAINT AGAINST GMAC. I WOULD HOPE TO KEEP SOMEONE FROM LOSING THEIR LIFE DUE TO THIS MECHANICAL PROBLEM. THE LOSS DUE TO THIS ACCIDENT WAS OVER 30,000 DOLLARS. *JB
