FALSE DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAG UPON IMPACTING A POLE FROM THE REAR RESULTED IN LOSS OF CONTROL.
THE CONSUMER HAD COLLISION WITH REAR BUMPER AND POLE, DURING COLLISION SHE FEELS THAT THE AIR BAGS INFLATED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LOOSE CONTROL.
WHEN VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT GOING (45) MPH THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIR BAGS. WENT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE WHICH WAS MAKING A LEFT TURN. *AK
SRS LIGHT CAME ON, INDICATING THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAG. TOOK TO DEALER, THEY SAID PART WOULD BE $600, AND CONSUMER THOUGHT THAT WAS TOO HIGH. DEALER RESET THE LIGHT. CONSUMER FEELS THAT AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY UNEXPECTEDLY, AND DEALER CAN NOT TELL CONSUMER IF AIRBAGS WILL DEPLOY WITHOUT WARNING. *AK

VIOLENT DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S AIR BAG RESULTED IN CHEST BURNS. *AK
ABS SYSTEM LEAKED ALL ITS FLUID,CAUSING CAR TO SKID OFF ROAD WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED.*AK
ABS SYSTEM CONTINUOUSLY LEAKS BRAKE FLUID ALL OVER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. REQUIRES RE-FILLING EVERY MONTH OR SO. ABS RESERVOIR HAS BEEN REPLACED BY DEALER BUT IT STILL LEAKS. ON SEVERAL OCCATIONS THE ABS HAS FAILED TO WORK BECAUSE THE SYSTEM HAD LEAKED ALL ITS BRAKE FLUID AND NEARLY RESULTED IN SEVERAL ACCIDENTS. COMPLAINTS TO THE BBB OF WASHINGTON DC HAVE GONE UNANSWERED REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. *AK

LEASED VEHICLE: WHILE DRIVING, DUAL AIRBAGS INFLATED; NO ACCIDENT; NO KNOWLEDGE OF RUNNING OVER BUMP; CAUSE UNKNOWN. TT
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE ARMREST ON THE LEFT FRONT DOOR HAS CRACKED. THE FIRST TIME IT WAS REPLACED THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY. IT IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND I WAS TOLD BY ZONE OFFICE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TO HAVE IT INSPECTED BY DEALER. I DID AND WAS TOLD THEY FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF ABUSE. THE ZONE OFFICE CUSTOMER REP ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT CRACKED BECAUSE I LIVE IN A HOT CLIMATE. THERE ARE TWO SERVICE BULLETINS RELATING TO THIS PROBLEM YET HONDA CLAIMS THEY HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A COMPLAINT AND THEY CHOOSE TO IGNORE THESE. *AK
