The mirror in the casing for the drivers side mirror shakes a lot, even at low speeds, to the point where I can’t use it reliably.
The mirror has become detached on the drivers side. The same issue that has been reported as a recall for 2020-2022 Honda odyssey. My vehicle is 2019 and has the same issue. It is not bonded properly. It is a safety hazard. The dealership said I need to pay to have it replaced. However it should be that my car is included in the recall.
On February 1, 2023, I broke the side view mirror off the passenger side door while backing into my parents driveway (the mirror hit a bush on the side of their house). Called Honda dealership and ordered (and paid for) replacement part on Feb 2, 2023 - was told the part should be in within a few weeks. By approximately February 20th, the part was still not in, and the dealer had no ETA. So I opened an inquiry with Honda. On/around February 27th, I was told by my customer service rep Nikki that my part was upgraded to critical backorder, but that there was still no ETA. However, I was #6 in the queue to receive the part. Case number is 13648719. Called Honda multiple times over the next few weeks, eventually being told on/around March 5th, that the part was 'released' to the dealership on March 3. On March 14th, I called the dealership and demanded my money back on the part, until it arrived. Dealership agreed. Honda never was able to determine what happened with the part, because as I was told 'there's a global parts shortage, and it's the suppliers responsibility for the part, not Honda's'. In late March, was told that Honda would follow up via email weekly on part updates. I have received 3 emails so far from Honda simply stating that the part was still on backorder, and there is no ETA. All the while, my wife has been driving around with a duct taped on mirror, not angled in the best position for viewing. This is not an old vehicle, getting a part should not take 3+ months
AUTOMATIC RAIN SENSING WIPERS EQUIPPED WITH ELITE MODELS DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY HINDERING VISIBILITY IN RAIN/SNOW. IT FUNCTIONS IRRADICABLY, WIPING TOO FAST WHEN THERE IS VERY LITTLE RAIN OR CONVERSELY, NOT WIPING ENOUGH WHEN THERE'S A DOWNPOUR. ADJUSTING SENSITIVITY LEVELS KNOB DID NOT AFFECT ANYTHING. LOCAL DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS HAVE REFUSED TO TROUBLESHOOT. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW.
Driver side mirror shakes a lot when driving to the point that is very difficult to focus when you trying to look back when changing lanes or just as spot check.

IN MULTIPLE VEHICLES AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER AND LOOKING AT TWO VEHICLES IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THE REAR GLASS HAS NOT BEEN MANUFACTURED CORRECTLY AS THERE ARE OBSCURITIES IN THE GLASS AND THOSE OBSCURITIES CREATE A BLURRY PATCH TO THE RIGHT AND THE LEFT OF CENTER AT THE EDGES OF THE GLASS. IF YOU CAN SEE IT'S FAINTLY LIKE A CORDUROY EFFECT IN BETWEEN THE LAYERS OF GLASS. A MANAGER AT FROM SUNSET HONDA IN SAN LUIS OBISPO HAS SEEN THE DEFECTS NOTICED IT AND OTHER VEHICLES BUT DECLINED TO DO ANYTHING SINCE IT WAS THE SAME IN TWO VEHICLES. I STATED THAT THAT DOESN'T PROHIBITED FROM BEING A DEFECT IN THE MANUFACTURING HE AGREED THAT THERE WAS BLURRY VISION AND THAT HE COULD SEE THE LINES THAT I'M SPEAKING OF.
2019 HONDA ODYSSEY. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VARIOUS DEFECTS. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED ALL THE DOORS UNLOCK INDEPENDENTLY. THE SLIDING DOORS, INCLUDING THE REAR HATCH, UNLOCK AND OPEN INDEPENDENTLY AND WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WINDOWS AND SUNROOF OPEN FULLY INDEPENDENTLY, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS LOCKED. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WAS CRACKED TWICE WITHIN THE LAST TWO WEEKS. THE DEALER (HONDA SUPERSTORE OF LISLE, 4475 LINCOLN AVE, LISLE, IL 60532, (630) 852-7200) REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD THE FIRST TIME, BUT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. THE CONTACT WENT TO SPEAK TO THE DEALER UPON THE SECOND WINDSHIELD CRACK, BUT THEY WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE POSSIBILITY OF DEFECTIVE GLASS OR COVER THE WINDSHIELD REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND SIDED WITH THE DEALER. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED BACK TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,500.
